The breakfast options are a bit limited."

"For this price, I highly recommend this hotel. The location is super convenient, with a convenience store, restaurants, a pharmacy, and the Yishunxuan souvenir shop right downstairs. Tangweigou Hot Spring Park and its market are also nearby, and it's only about a 5-minute walk to Jiaoxi Station. I was very satisfied with the room's cleanliness and the service. The twin room was spacious, with two extra-large double beds that were more than enough for two people – very comfortable. Don't expect much from the welcome drinks and snacks though, haha! We were lucky to encounter a staff member who spoke Cantonese, and she was incredibly helpful. A big thank you to her!"

"During the overall stay, the front desk and service docking staff were very polite and friendly, the location is super convenient, and the interior design is very comfortable. However, it happened that the sloppy resident of the female room in the quadruple room did not clean the toilet that was stained with menstrual blood and had to wipe it himself. As for the only moments when I felt uncomfortable, it was before check-out time. In the shared bathroom, the housekeeping staff would use actions to urge me. Halfway through taking a shower in the shared bathroom on the top floor at night, the lights went out in the bathroom at almost ten o'clock and it was dark, that's all."

"The hotel is in an excellent location, with a convenient parking lot. Although the hotel facilities are old, they are well maintained. It is very quiet at night. There are not many breakfast items but they are all delicious. The staff has a friendly service attitude. I will choose again next time Check in!"

"The bustling downtown and market are just a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. Nearly all the staff were incredibly friendly and professional in answering our questions. This trip marked our seven-month anniversary, and it added so many wonderful memories as we head towards our eighth month together. Upon check-in, the hotel learned we were celebrating our anniversary and thoughtfully upgraded us to a mountain-view room. The in-room welcome drinks were incredibly generous, featuring mini beers, plum wine, coke, and Pocari Sweat – essential for rehydration after a soak; they even included face masks to pamper us while we enjoyed the in-room hot spring bath. All the room's fixtures and fittings were new and high-quality: a Toto washlet, a Panasonic 1400 nanoe hairdryer, a thoughtful wooden gua sha massage comb, and hyaluronic acid-infused shower gel that left skin feeling smooth and soft. What truly amazed me were the double-layered automatic curtains (even in the room's private hot spring area!). The double room's bathtub was spacious enough for up to four people – a very comfortable size. In the afternoon, the lobby offered preserved fruits and freshly brewed tea, perfect for a relaxing break after a dip in the outdoor public hot spring. After dinner, they provided handmade kumquat-flavored tofu pudding, and it was unlimited – so generous! (There's a lovely staff member in the lobby, Tina, who's a treasure trove of recommendations for local food and sights; don't hesitate to ask her for her secret list of must-try places!) Last but not least, I highly recommend trying the hotel's breakfast, especially the freshly blanched beef soup. Even my boyfriend, who grew up in Tainan, the home of beef soup, couldn't stop raving about it. *If you're planning a weekday visit like we did and want to try some local famous eateries, be sure to check their opening hours in advance. Many popular spots are only open from Friday to Sunday or during specific hours, like mornings until 2 PM. (Luckily, you can find a lot of food on Uber Eats!) Heartily recommend!"

"The best thing about this hotel is its location near several hiking trails and away from the centre of town. The rooms themselves, while well-equipped, have seen better days, but that's reflected in the low weekday rates. Avoid the ”small double” category - these rooms are tiny and facing a busy intersection. I was grateful to the staff for coming up with a solution when I complained."

"The exterior features a pond and church-style landscaping with fish in it. There was no special service; the staff at the counter were indifferent and unfriendly, quickly explaining the situation and handing over the room key without going into detail. Neither the receptionist nor the housekeeping staff were enthusiastic; they weren't suited to be at the counter. There were no activities, and the breakfast was very perfunctory, essentially just going with the flow from an outside breakfast shop. The children's meal consisted of fried chicken nuggets, fries, and a strawberry toast – I personally found it very unhealthy and lacking in attention to detail. Those who value a buffet breakfast should think twice before choosing this place. The surrounding countryside is certainly relaxing."

"The environment is quiet and peaceful, and it's super close to the train station, just a three to five-minute walk to the bustling city center. The hotel staff are all friendly and enthusiastic, making us feel right at home during our stay. The room and bathroom were clean, and they provided coffee and tea. The mini-fridge had complimentary drinks, plus a delightful surprise: high-quality facial masks replenished daily! There was also a selection of pillows with different firmness levels to choose from. Every day, there's a Happy Hour offering free red and white wine, specially crafted non-alcoholic drinks, ginger tea, and some snacks."

"Every detail shows the owner's dedication to running this place. There's also a lounge on the second floor with complimentary coffee and tea. We stayed in the largest room on the 4th floor, and the floor-to-ceiling windows were absolutely stunning. The bathtub was huge and very clean (which is the most important thing!). Although it didn't have a separate shower and toilet, it did have a bidet. The cleaning was truly meticulous; the glass was so spotless I almost walked into it, luckily there were signs. I've included a picture of my favorite corner. The housekeeper was very personable – thumbs up!"
