The room was quite basic, but overall comfortable, and the bathroom was reasonably clean, not looking dirty or having significant signs of wear like water stains. Breakfast was pretty standard; most of the dishes were cold, and not many people were eating, but it was enough to fill up."

The hotel lobby is simply stunning and makes you want to linger."

Neo-classical style guest rooms, both elegant and comfortable, tall and spacious; especially with floor-to-ceiling viewing windows, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Guishan Island and the plain, and the town scenery is always in sight.
"It's quite dated but literally right on the night market. There was bad smell in the room which needed to be treated with deodorant. The deodorant was so strong that it was almost intolerable. We asked for a room change and they only offered to change to a smaller one next door which was equally smelly. The parking facility is not that great. You will have to use the very small elevator to park in a very small space. The only plus is the staff at the breakdast. They were very nice and polite."

The Crownshine Resort is located in the famous Jiaoxi hot spring area in Taiwan. It can be reached through the snow mountain tunnel. It is about 900 meters away from Jiaoxi Railway Station and about 200 meters away from Tangweigou Tangwei Bathing Beach. Jiaoxi Hot Spring is a rare flat hot spring. It is a sodium bicarbonate spring with a water temperature of 58°C 40 meters underground. It is colorless and odorless. What is even more rare is that it is the only hot spring in the world except Italy that is rich in "titanium phenate". It has a beautifying and nourishing effect, and the skin will feel smooth and non-sticky after washing. Jiaoxi Hot Spring is rich in mineral components such as sodium, magnesium, calcium, potassium, and carbonate ions, and is known as the "hot spring among hot springs." Hotel rooms are equipped with air conditioning, LED TV (cable channels), electric kettle, refrigerator, bathroom (with bathtub), free toiletries, bathrobe, hair dryer, and free high-speed Internet (WIFI) throughout the hotel. The hotel has a buffet restaurant, conference rooms, gym, spa and oven facilities. The front desk is open 24 hours a day and provides services such as luggage storage and wake-up calls. Parking is free The transportation is super convenient and the accommodation is the easiest. The hotel is located next to Jiaoxi Wenquangou Park. "The connecting room is really great. The footbath on the living room window sill is very unique and comfortable. There are facilities for adults and children to play. The only drawback is that the SPA is located outdoors and there are more mosquitoes in the evening, so it is better to soak in the morning."

"We, two adults and one child (6 years old), stayed in a city view double room on the 15th floor. Here are our thoughts:
1) The room was a bit small... there wasn't much floor space. After putting down two suitcases, there was hardly any room to walk around.
2) The bathroom door, when opening and closing, and the glass shower door made quite a loud scraping noise. If you needed to use the restroom at night, it would definitely wake up others in the room.
3) The area under the bed wasn't thoroughly cleaned; there was a visible layer of dust.
4) The in-room hot spring tub had a slight hint of moss (not very obvious).
The hot spring facilities on the 3rd floor, however, were excellent and great for kids. There's also a swimming pool. We happened to visit during the rainy season, so we were very glad to have indoor hot springs where our child could play.
The location is fantastic. We didn't purchase breakfast vouchers, and there are many eateries nearby. There's a Starbucks next door, and the bread from the bakery downstairs at the Garmalan Hotel is delicious.
Overall, it offers good value for money. Housekeeping changed towels and replenished drinks and cookies daily. Aside from being slightly a bit dated, everything else was generally okay."

"The slow-living spa facilities are absolutely fantastic! You barely need to bring anything. Just grab a towel at the front desk, and inside there are slippers for you to change into. For showering, they provide not only body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, but even makeup remover and facial cleanser. In the vanity area, you'll find combs, cotton swabs, hair ties, and body lotion.
There are five main hot spring pools, each with a different theme, plus a fish spa pool where little fish nibble at your feet. Indoors, there's a cold plunge pool, a steam room, and a sauna. A great feature is that both the steam room and sauna are separated by gender.
They also offer complimentary iced smoothies, cold drinks, barley tea, and hot ginger tea. The hot ginger tea is sweet and delicious!"

"it's partly my fault I should have directly written to the hotel other than have the trip. com relaying the message! I requested an upper floor with windows. But when I checked in at the hotel, we found out our room #205 is in the second floor with the window open right smeck to the brick wall of the next building! I like the hotel location and I sure like to give it a second try!"

Excellent
VVNFYu Peng Villa was our first and BEST accommodation on this Yilan-Taroko-SML-Alishan road trip. We arrived much later than expected and were relieved that our message to Trip.com got through to the guesthouse. When we drove up to the place (an easy find with GPS), a member of the staff walked up to our car and guided us to the drop off point.
I love the designer vibes of the property which is well maintained with a sizeable garden and plenty of flowers in bloom. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The showers worked and there was hot water. The western-style breakfast was generous in portion and delicious.
Best of all was the hospitality extended to us. It was the only place where we felt truly welcomed on this 8-day trip. The staff here chatted with us, gave advice on places of interest and sent us off with fruit from the orchard. After the great experience here, all the other places we stayed at pale drastically in comparison.
If you're planning to visit the Kavalan Distillery, this place is a great stayover option! Truly a slice of paradise.

GGuest UserAs a popular hotel, they provided happy hour (including wine) & snacks and different non alcoholic drinks for free and they partner up with just sleep hotel next door to offer more facilities for us to use. We went to check out the sister hotel but it was just alright tho there was a space for children play area & public bath. It was better to enjoy our private hot spring bath inside our own room. We were a family of 5 so we had to squish a little - if you are looking for a basic affordable hot spring hotel with a good location, this is it.

台台灣娜娜The room was fully equipped with smart features, and although some of the devices were a bit clunky, it still made for a fantastic experience. The sound system was great, and the room itself was large and comfortable! The communal activity area even had a waterslide! While it was on the smaller side, even I, a 'big kid' at 168cm, had a blast on it. The ground-floor terrace pool was huge and wonderful, offering plenty of Instagrammable seating. There was even a separate smaller pool area! It's absolutely perfect for a family getaway with children, and the soundproofing is excellent, so you never have to worry about disturbing anyone. The in-room hot spring was superb! The tub was so spacious it felt like it could easily accommodate five people. The only minor downside was the bed, which was quite firm. However, for those who prefer a firm mattress, it's a major plus and a refreshing change from hotels that only feature soft beds.

Ppiyaeric chenThis seems to be a fairly new hot spring hotel. The overall vibe is simple and stylish, and the staff are very Taiwanese-style warm and attentive, which makes traveling back home feel really relaxing. The only downside is that the room is quite small, but land prices in this hot spring town are probably high, so it’s understandable. The breakfast is rich and delicious. I’d definitely stay here again next time.

Pool was great. Only exception was during the day it was unusable when sunny which defeats the purpose of a pool but we used it on the cloudy days.
Rooms were big and clean. Staff was friendly and kind to children
Only thing is to stay away from dinner buffet. That wasn’t a good experience but the free breakfast was standard. I hope the teppanyaki and other places were better than the dinner buffet

GGuest UserThe hotel is located on a main street, near eateries and convenience stores, and is about a ten-minute walk from Jiaoxi Transfer Station and Jiaoxi Railway Station. The hotel does not have a public hot spring bath, but each room has a private soaking tub, and there are also private hot spring rooms available for a fee. We stayed for two consecutive nights, and although the hotel provides breakfast, it was almost identical both days. Changing the menu would be more convenient for consecutive guests. The hotel has a water dispenser, which is very convenient as you don't need to boil water in your room. I really liked the soaking tub in the room; it was very spacious and comfortable. However, some areas were not clean enough, such as noticeable mold stains on the wall behind the faucet, which slightly detracted from the overall impression.

The environment is not bad because the pillow has a lot of hair, about 3 long hairs, and we haven’t used it yet.

Toilet toilet paper is flat toilet paper. You have to count the number of sheets yourself and it is difficult to know the thickness (it depends on your personal habits)
When we arrived, it was around 17:30 and the service staff asked you to have some snacks.
It’s actually past snack time and I’m just a little hungry😋
Indoors, we saw that there was no parking space in front of the hotel when we returned (renting a motorcycle) because the door was full of motorcycles. Unless we move the car, there is still room for one. Come out immediately and tell us that you can park in the opposite parking lot without moving the car. ＜Not far away within 50 meters＞
