"This should be the best hotel in Bournemouth, right? The views and location are amazing, absolutely nothing to complain about there. Now for my gripes:
1. At check-in, they didn't even mention that toiletries and slippers needed to be requested. I got into the room and there was nothing. I had to ask specifically before they'd tell me. Although they did provide them later, why can't they proactively inform guests at check-in that these aren't automatically provided and need to be requested if desired?
2. The breakfast selection is pitifully small, and the person making eggs often walks away for extended periods. There's already so little to eat, and then you have to wait for them...
Other than that, there's nothing else to report – nothing particularly good, nothing particularly bad."

"The restaurant and waiter (David ) were fabulous . The food was delicious and the service from David exceptional . It’s a shame that the receptionist was very curt and nowhere near as friendly . The hotel is very clean and is a good 3srar hotel . I would definitely visit the restaurant in the hotel again but not sure I would stay at this hotel in the future ."

"Reception and breakfast staff were excellent.
Our family room (Ken dodd) was very big and comfortable.
We also enjoyed the english breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to major attractions.

"Great location for daytime but not so much for night. Very noisy outside until at least 3am.
We had a family room and it was excellent. Loads of space in the main bedroom and then a separate bedroom with two single beds. Beds were really comfortable.
We only ate breakfast in the hotel which was buffet style. Large selection available and it was very good.
The car parking at the hotel wasn’t great. We had to drop our cases then find alternative parking. This was not easy as all nearby car parks were full - cheerleading competition on at BIC.
We really enjoyed our stay and would return."

"Very good location, easy bus to the centre but also you have very nice less crowded beach just about 5 min walk. Quiet location, local shop about 3 min walk.
We didn’t had a view 😅 But I guess you are not coming there to sit in the room.

"It was very nice the rooms were clean and the beach was very close.The staff was very kind and nice,I would definitely book again i am very pleased with this hotel my kids also loved this hotel more than me. I would most definitely recommend this hotel to others. However I would say if there is a family you book the rooms near each other in advance. Overall my whole family loved this hotel."

"We specifically booked this hotel for our anniversary and they decorated the bed with petals which was a nice touch. The hotel itself was very nice but the rooms were a bit outdated and the toilet was dirty. There were quite a few downsides which did ruin our short stay. We booked this hotel specifically for the spa facilities mainly the jacuzzi pool but this was out of order before we got there and we were not informed of this otherwise we would’ve booked elsewhere and it wasn’t fixed for our entire stay. Swimming pool was decent but not the cleanest as i felt dirt on pool floor.
On our last night we ran out of water and my wife is pregnant so i went to the night porter and asked for a bottle of water which they provide complimentary daily but he said he couldn't give me one and he could sell one from the bar, which i found ridiculous. The room didnt have a fridge so we couldnt buy any water and keep it cool.
Parking was £10 a day which I believe should be included in the stay.
Hotel staff were friendly other than that but I would probably look elsewhere next time. For the price we paid I did expect a lot more from the hotel."

"We had a three-night stay and overall enjoyed our time at the hotel. The rooms were tidy and well-maintained, although a bit small. There was only a kettle provided for tea, but considering the price, it offered good value for money.
The location is excellent — very close to the beach, with a short pathway directly in front of the hotel that takes less than five minutes to reach the shore. It’s also within walking distance to the town and there’s a beautiful park just across the pier, which we really appreciated.
Breakfast was good, though it was the same each day. We stayed in a family room that was very clean and tidy, but it lacked space for seating — there was only one chair, which was a little inconvenient for us as a family.
Apart from that, we were happy with our stay. The location and cleanliness made it a pleasant experience, and we would consider returning in the future."

GGuest UserThis is my second stay at this hotel. I am a professional dancer and every year there is a major competition held in Bournemouth, and to be honest, Hilton is one of the most closest hotels to the place of competition, which was the main reason to stay there. But, as last year, as this year, the stay didn’t leave a good impression. Last year my Gucci T-shirt was stolen by the housekeepers (it was lying in my suitcase) and the hotel didn’t compensate it in any way. This year, while doing the check-out, the lady at the reception wanted to charge extra money from me. I had breakfasts included, but she told me the opposite was showing in her screen. When I asked her to show her screen, she refused, saying that “oh it’s a mistake, sorry”. Then she said that I have other things to pay and I couldn’t understand what, as we never ate at the hotel during the day, didn’t use mini bar (which wasn’t even filled up), didn’t use spa, basically nothing. She was trying to find out what shall I pay for about 10 minutes. When I told her I’m late to the airport, she said everything is fine and I can go.
These situations with payments and money completely ruined everything and my opinion about the hotel. I won’t come back for sure.
About the food: there is basically nothing to eat. Sausages, bacon, eggs, harshbrowns, beans and some vegetables which look green.
Service: cleaning may be way better. We had plenty of trash in our room such as bottles, cans, empty bags which have been with us for the whole week of our stay and were never thrown away. The first few days the towels were changed, while after that they weren’t even lifted up from the floor.
I was staying with my friend and we occasionally ordered food. I have asked at the reception for two forks four times, but I was totally ignored. On the 5th time, when I was screaming, they finally brought the forks. Same with glasses: I’ve asked for 4 glasses, but have never seen them))
The overall feeling of the stay is absolutely negative, as it’s basically just a place for sleep without any good services. For the money it costs it’s absolutely not worth it.

AAnonymous UserHotel is clean and tidy, there is a hill to walk up .? We have stayed at Hampton Hilton a few times , unfortunately like most things there are cut backs . In the scheme of things they are small , Breakfast no fried eggs no mushrooms, they used to serve small chocoate muffins , disappeared , instead of being an outstanding breakfast its now just average at best . Quilt on the bed very thin for December. But all in all it’s okay .

GGuest UserStunning hotel, great location. Everything was fantastic. Small thing is room 109 has a small frosted window with no view. When opening it opens to a dirty mucky roof. We did not leave it open as vermin might enter the room. We also mentioned it was a 40th bday but no extras not even a note.

We suggest to change mattress as both we and our friends had terrible back pain but this is of course just a preference and not everyone wants a hard mattress as we do.
Apart from that we love it all in this hotel.

GGuest UserNice hotel, not far from the beach. Breakfast was good but was only until 9.30am. Rooms were nice, spacious and clean we had a balcony room with lovely views of the beach, the rooms were quite hot and no A.C which is needed in hot weather. The outdoor pool is heated but no indoor pool for when the weather isn’t good. Staff were helpful and friendly.

GGuest UserBooked as a last minute, lovely hotel.. Reception staff could not of been more helpful. We got upgraded to a sea view, and the room was spacious & lovely. .. there’s a lovely grandness to the hotel , so I felt sad that the smallest of Maintenon job that I noticed let it down, for example , the conference room opposite the reception curtain we’re hanging off it’s rail. So simple to rectify I’m sure.
Bar drinks, VERY overly priced .
Didn’t use the Spa as closed at 6pm .
I would return to this hotel., as stated the reception ladies were smiley, & helpful.

GGuest UserLovely one night stay at this hotel,was about a 20 minute walk to the centre! Room was nice and the bathroom was lovely! The only downside was what the room resembled a sauna to the point we had to ask for an extra fan which wasn’t too much trouble for the reception team after they located one! I would stay again but would recommend you do not stay anywhere near the leisure facilities and especially not room 23 unless you like waking up feeling like you’re abroad!

JJahangir JaneWe stayed here as a couple and had a mixed experience. The hotel has its charms, but also a few drawbacks.
Rooms & Amenities:
The rooms were quite small and felt congested, including the toilet where the commode placement was very cramped. The amenities provided were basic — just soap and a combined hair and body wash. Surprisingly, there was no handwash, no refrigerator, and no hair dryer in the room. On the plus side, the room was clean, and we had no issues with hygiene.
Staff & Service:
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the stay more pleasant.
Facilities & Atmosphere:
The swimming pool was lovely, and the view from the poolside was amazing, directly overlooking the sea. The lounge area shared the same beautiful view — a great spot to relax in the evening. There was even a small jewelry corner inside the hotel, so beware — you might end up buying a ring or necklace if your partner starts browsing!
Other Notes:
The lift was possibly the oldest I've ever used — it really felt like stepping back into the 90s, which in a way added some quirky character to the place.
Food:
The full English breakfast was genuinely very good — one of the highlights of our stay.
Overall Value:
The pricing was reasonable, but for better value, it would be great if they included essentials like a refrigerator, handwash, and hair dryer in the rooms.
