"Unfortunately, the hotel is very old and really needs a revamp. While the staff was absolutely amazing and the location couldn’t have been better, the overall comfort of the stay fell short.The biggest issue was the lack of air conditioning. We specifically booked and paid for a balcony, but it was blocked off, leaving the room unbearably warm. To make matters worse, the heating rails were on constantly, adding even more heat to the room. Breakfast was another disappointment. The quality wasn’t good, and we ended up skipping the Sunday breakfast entirely and going to a local café instead.Overall, this was unfortunately not our best stay and really an expensive stay"

I would most definitely recommend this hotel to others. However I would say if there is a family you book the rooms near each other in advance. Overall my whole family loved this hotel."

"Hotel is clean and tidy, there is a hill to walk up .? We have stayed at Hampton Hilton a few times , unfortunately like most things there are cut backs . In the scheme of things they are small , Breakfast no fried eggs no mushrooms, they used to serve small chocoate muffins , disappeared , instead of being an outstanding breakfast its now just average at best . Quilt on the bed very thin for December. But all in all it’s okay ."

"Great location and good for a quick stopover for a few days. Parking is £5 each night which you will need to factor in the price. They dont do room service during your stay but you can leave your dirty towels outside and get fresh ones. Keyless entry too which is good. They had entertainment on the nights I was there too."

"The pool and sauna facilities were the highlight of our stay at The Best Western Plus (use it before 10am so less busy). We booked a standard twin room which was decent and spacious although the shower room was tiny and water pressure was weak. The main problem was we found out when we got in the room that air-con was not working bear in mind it’s the hottest day of the year. If this was communicated this with us we would have booked a different room or hotel. When we brought this problem up at the reception they can only offer to change an our room the following day, so we had to endure the heat with 2 small electric fans through the night. The manager did give us complimentary drinks and a small amount of compensation for the inconvenience. I would have prefered the first room to the second room if it had a running aircon as the second room was very small as you’ll see in the last picture. Overall the hotel a nice and cozy if everything was working properly."

"Big room and accessible bathroom there is a very retro lovely charm here which is like of timeless but not in a bad way . The Internet was very good as were the facilities in the room . The only thing I would say was the bar soft drink was relatively expensive but it was just that you tasteless like it had been watered down too much"
