"First impressions: car park is a hassle. No clear signs, must walk around the driving area each floor to access reception. Spaces so narrow my car door was dinked so pretty unhappy. Hotel is nice but reception staff too stretchrd which meant delays on che。。，"

Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott Hotel

Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott Hotel ★★★★

📍 105 St Michael's Rd, W Cliff Rd, Bournemouth

"The hotel has its own private parking, but still charges £15 per night, which feels unfair for hotel guests. Even when the car park is not full, the fee is still applied. The hotel should consider offering free parking for guests or at least making the charge more reasonable."

Royal Bath Hotel
7.8 (137 reviews)

Royal Bath Hotel ★★★★

📍 Bath Rd, Bournemouth

"Extremely bad. The elevator was broken when we arrived at the hotel that day, so I had to carry my luggage up the stairs myself. There was no staff service whatsoever. The room felt like a motel, or perhaps even worse than a motel. The dust on the chandelier was so thick that I was afraid to breathe too loudly, fearing it would fall onto the bed. The rust on the bedside lamp was disgusting, and there was only one power outlet in the entire room, located in a corner. After putting my daughter on the bed, I didn't dare let her get down because of the stains on the dark blue carpet, which didn't show up in photos. If you have a reservation, cancel it quickly; seriously, this price is a rip-off."

Trouville Bournemouth - OCEANA COLLECTION ★★★
"I was originally allocated a signature family room on the second, room 213 but when I entered the room the beds were unmade and there were lots of dirty towels in the bathtub, this was at 16:30 and all the chambermaids had gone home ! I immediately informed the hotel staff and was allocated a smaller double room on the third floor, room 308, which had a great sea view, but was very hot and the water pressure in the bathtub and the shower was next to nothing, as it driped out slowly ! Not to mention the loud banging doors ! I had to keep the fan on all the time otherwise I could of fainted ! Be careful when booking with this hotel, but still good value for money !"

Royal Bath Hotel ★★★★
"Unfortunately, the hotel is very old and really needs a revamp. While the staff was absolutely amazing and the location couldn’t have been better, the overall comfort of the stay fell short. The biggest issue was the lack of air conditioning. We specifically booked and paid for a balcony, but it was blocked off, leaving the room unbearably warm. To make matters worse, the heating rails were on constantly, adding even more heat to the room. Breakfast was another disappointment. The quality wasn’t good, and we ended up skipping the Sunday breakfast entirely and going to a local café instead.Overall, this was unfortunately not our best stay and really an expensive stay"

"The environment of the hotel is very good. It's very close to the seaside. I like the design and layout. I was in a hurry this time and didn't go shopping around. I'll come back and stay for a few days when I have time."
