Room decent size and bathroom, hanging rail, and clean, good location
bed very uncomfortable, no iron, not enough milk, no water bottles ( yes I know I'm being picky, some do have water) no fridge, only one side had a bedside table"

It's very close to the University of Glasgow, and there are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. You can also take a stroll in the nearby park. "Pretty good! I was travelling with my mom and daughter. A taxi ride only cost us a few pounds to get there. We had originally planned to walk from Central Station, but it was raining that day, so we took a cab instead. I was very pleased the front desk arranged a connecting room for us. "The hotel is opposite to the Glasgow Central, the reception is on the ground floor, breakfast is served on the 7th floor. The room we stayed was 207, a luxury room having two separate divisions, an adjustable double bed and one sofa. There are two big screen Samsung LED tv in each division of the room. The bathroom is good size with a top shower, towels, shampoo, conditioner and body gel. We arrived earlier than the check-in time and left our bags. When we entered our room later in the evening we saw that the sofa bed wasn’t prepared. One of the receptionists told me that one housekeeper would come and prepare it, but one receptionist came and tried to do it ( myself also helped her), but she couldn’t and called her friends, Two receptionists came and opened the sofa. The receptionist told me whether we told them the sofa to be prepared when we came early in the morning. This was very interesting. The booking was clear that were three people!
The breakfast was good, except raw bananas!"

"Ibis Styles Glasgow Central is a good location to stay should you intend to layover in Glasgow. It's about 10 minutes walking distance from Glasgow Central Station and within 15 minutes from fast food eateries and shopping places. Rooms are clean and basic amenities are provided for. Breakfast is good and incorporates a mix of international and English cuisines.
HOWEVER, I have had a bad experience regarding a certain payment. I booked this hotel via Trip.com and have prepaid for my stay. When I checked in on 17/7, I was told by the receptionist of that day that my card details were needed. I was assured that there would be no deduction performed and that the details were only required should there be incurred damages in my room during the stay. Yet, on the same day evening, I received a notification that 143 pounds had been deducted. I questioned the receptionist of that day and was reassured, and I quote: ”There was this transaction made to confirm that your card is not a dunce and is payable.”
The next day, before checking out, I reconfirmed with the receptionist of that day (18/7) if the money would be refunded to me. After checking on their end, they said that the money will be refunded. This morning (19/7), I have just received another notification that the status of the 143-pounds transaction has changed from pending to approved. I am disappointed and upset regarding this, and I would like to urge future travellers to be wary of this incident."

"I stayed at this hotel for five days and had a good experience. It felt safe and relatively clean. The service was thoughtful and warm, especially Wendy, who was always smiling and energetic. She enthusiastically helped resolve issues like delayed luggage at the airport, which was very heartwarming. The surrounding area is also quite convenient."

GGuest UserThe hotel was lovely, I was a bit put off by the reception staff who spoke to me via computer screens. They never looked at me when asking questions I personally feel this is rude. However they were able to store bags for us until we could check in. The pool is lovely not overly big and there was lessons going on but for a quick dip it’s fine. The hot tub is tiny even with 3 adults in it we were touching knees so that felt a-bit awkward sharing with strangers. Gym was fantastic. Was very impressed
Room was lovely very spacious we had a twin room first time I slept in a single bed since a child so not overly comfortable. Bathroom clean and massive bath which was great, our room did not have a window that could be opened but a fan was placed in our room, it didn’t work but after notifying cleaning staff they quickly replaced it.
Breakfast was good just what you would expect. From a buffet breakfast and we were seated very quickly both mornings. There was water machines on our floor and reception which we used regularly and we appreciated that touch.
Over all it was a good and I would stay again. The red and yellow hop on hope off bus stop is just around the corner also so handy if wanting to sightsee.

BBianzoubiankan-woxihuanThis hotel is conveniently located near the train station, making it easy to get around. It's also within walking distance of many attractions. The hotel is clean, and the breakfast is good. The front desk staff are helpful; although there's no kettle in the room, they provide one for free. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserFriendly waiter/bar staff in Steven. Beer - very good. Ambience very good. Ate out for dinner. Heating in room very erratic, only works when cars in. So room cold on return. Disabled room, bathroom door opens right out into room and moves fast with no stopper, middle of the night I head butted door on opening it as it swung away. No lasting damage done but a bit dangerous. Partner said bathroom freezing during night.
Breakfast bang average - no traditional Scottish tattie scones, no scrambled egg and fried eggs are white of an uncooked type. Despite asking twice for a flipped fried egg - same white silicone esque rubber circle. Defo not edible. Waiter rude to my partner when asked about replacement. Clearly no frying facilities being used. The milk of which I had a glass of was the wateriest milk and most unpleasant taste - was it Uht? Or powdered with water added? Baked beans and sausages very tasty. No HP or Heinz sauces. Some of bread poor quality. Coffee from a work style urn. Not very modern.
Parking overpriced and car which had been washed prior to arriving was filthy on departure with a brown layer of dirt on it.
I note that website chooses to mention under Historic Sites: Hampden Park and Celtic Park: 4.0mi | 14 min drive
Funny that Ibrox Stadium - with the iconic Main Stand which is closer than the above is not given a mention. Bigotry alive in well in the hotel establishment management.
Won’t be returning or recommending.

FfionahutchisonBooked in for a concert at the hydro. Its so close that we easily had plenty time to get ready and be there to que early. We used the spa facilities too which were very clean and very relaxing. Bar accepted cash too so huge points for that. Will definitely book again. For our next concert.
GGuest UserWe have stayed at the Moxy before, hence our return!
Great for OMO and SEC and easy for the train to the city centre if you don’t want the walk.
Didn’t have food this time but it was great last time. Can book for breakfast before 12 midnight to get for £12 ( instead of £15).
Staff friendly.
Room was great even though shower room was tiny, room for one. (but how much room do you need 😄?)
NNantongdadikeThe hotel is right in the city center, very close to the train station, about a 5-minute walk. The room wasn't huge, but it was very clean and tidy. The breakfast had a good variety of fruit, so it was decent.

AAnonymous UserFriendly receptionists, booked the room pretty last minute and got a free room upgrade. The room had the bare minimum of what you would expect to have, location wise, it is right above the Charing Cross station, but it’s a pretty far walk from the main area

GGuest UserSadly, our trip was terrible. Our room was directly across from the elevators, people were coming and going all night and making a noise, coaches were arriving , fire alarm went off numerous times at 7am. We decided to leave as soon as possible. The trip was meant to be a resting stop for our 8 hour journey and we were exhausted when we left. A refund would be expected for such a bad experience, however the gentleman at the desk just apologised for the inconvenience.
