HOWEVER, I have had a bad experience regarding a certain payment. I booked this hotel via Trip.com and have prepaid for my stay. When I checked in on 17/7, I was told by the receptionist of that day that my card details were needed. I was assured that there would be no deduction performed and that the details were only required should there be incurred damages in my room during the stay. Yet, on the same day evening, I received a notification that 143 pounds had been deducted. I questioned the receptionist of that day and was reassured, and I quote: ”There was this transaction made to confirm that your card is not a dunce and is payable.”
The next day, before checking out, I reconfirmed with the receptionist of that day (18/7) if the money would be refunded to me. After checking on their end, they said that the money will be refunded. This morning (19/7), I have just received another notification that the status of the 143-pounds transaction has changed from pending to approved. I am disappointed and upset regarding this, and I would like to urge future travellers to be wary of this incident."

"Great location inside the Glasgow Central station (and the Queen Street station is a 10 minute walk away). Room was spacious. Staff was nice, and helped me by storing luggage between my two stays with them in Glasgow while I did two nights in Loch Lomond to do some hiking and didn’t want to drag my bulky suitcase along."

"The hotel is opposite to the Glasgow Central, the reception is on the ground floor, breakfast is served on the 7th floor. The room we stayed was 207, a luxury room having two separate divisions, an adjustable double bed and one sofa. There are two big screen Samsung LED tv in each division of the room. The bathroom is good size with a top shower, towels, shampoo, conditioner and body gel. We arrived earlier than the check-in time and left our bags. When we entered our room later in the evening we saw that the sofa bed wasn’t prepared. One of the receptionists told me that one housekeeper would come and prepare it, but one receptionist came and tried to do it ( myself also helped her), but she couldn’t and called her friends, Two receptionists came and opened the sofa. The receptionist told me whether we told them the sofa to be prepared when we came early in the morning. This was very interesting. The booking was clear that were three people!
The breakfast was good, except raw bananas!"

She enthusiastically helped resolve issues like delayed luggage at the airport, which was very heartwarming. The surrounding area is also quite convenient."

"I am rarely 'blown away' by hotels but Citizen M truly blew me away and exceeded all my expectations.
First of all, the staff member who greeted me was super friendly, asked me about my trip and the check in process was probably the easiest, fastest and most modern process I have ever experienced anywhere. When I walked into the room, I almost thought I walked into the wrong room because the size of the bed was HUGE (much bigger and better in real life than displayed in the pictures). The room itself was also much bigger than I expected, and so very modern and 'cool' like a spaceship. It had a homely feel and had some truly unique features like an ipad to control the TV, the lights (brightness and colour - very cool again!!), blinds (and more) and you could even play games with the lights. There was a moment where I truly felt I could spend an entire day just in the hotel room because it was so fun being in there and I looked forward to coming home to my hotel every night."

GGuest UserThe hotel was lovely, I was a bit put off by the reception staff who spoke to me via computer screens. They never looked at me when asking questions I personally feel this is rude. However they were able to store bags for us until we could check in. The pool is lovely not overly big and there was lessons going on but for a quick dip it’s fine. The hot tub is tiny even with 3 adults in it we were touching knees so that felt a-bit awkward sharing with strangers. Gym was fantastic. Was very impressed
Room was lovely very spacious we had a twin room first time I slept in a single bed since a child so not overly comfortable. Bathroom clean and massive bath which was great, our room did not have a window that could be opened but a fan was placed in our room, it didn’t work but after notifying cleaning staff they quickly replaced it.
Breakfast was good just what you would expect. From a buffet breakfast and we were seated very quickly both mornings. There was water machines on our floor and reception which we used regularly and we appreciated that touch.
Over all it was a good and I would stay again. The red and yellow hop on hope off bus stop is just around the corner also so handy if wanting to sightsee.

GGuest UserCute boutique hotel in a prime spot near Buchanan St and with some rooms overlooking George Square. We stayed in a studio with a balcony on the 7th floor, which had a great view, but was a little unhandy when the only elevator went out of service 3 of the 5 days during our stay. The room was spacious in terms of hotel rooms in the city centre, and well equipped with everything we might need in the kitchenette, plenty of storage space, good quality linens and towels, upscale toiletries, and a roomy bathroom with a nicely tiled shower. The staff were all very helpful, and did a good job of communicating with us when my husband's golf bag we had shipped over from the US preceded our arrival by a few days; they kept it in reception until we got there. Parking is a good distance away, and there is no good place to load/unload, though if you follow the instructions from Reception, you can get a discounted daily rate at the parking garage they recommend. The shuttle bus from the airport, subway, and, train station are within a few blocks, so you definitely don't need a car to get places within (and to a great extent without) the city.
Honestly we loved this hotel, found it a good value for the price, and will definitely consider staying here again on a return visit to Glasgow.

GGuest UserFriendly waiter/bar staff in Steven. Beer - very good. Ambience very good. Ate out for dinner. Heating in room very erratic, only works when cars in. So room cold on return. Disabled room, bathroom door opens right out into room and moves fast with no stopper, middle of the night I head butted door on opening it as it swung away. No lasting damage done but a bit dangerous. Partner said bathroom freezing during night.
Breakfast bang average - no traditional Scottish tattie scones, no scrambled egg and fried eggs are white of an uncooked type. Despite asking twice for a flipped fried egg - same white silicone esque rubber circle. Defo not edible. Waiter rude to my partner when asked about replacement. Clearly no frying facilities being used. The milk of which I had a glass of was the wateriest milk and most unpleasant taste - was it Uht? Or powdered with water added? Baked beans and sausages very tasty. No HP or Heinz sauces. Some of bread poor quality. Coffee from a work style urn. Not very modern.
Parking overpriced and car which had been washed prior to arriving was filthy on departure with a brown layer of dirt on it.
I note that website chooses to mention under Historic Sites: Hampden Park and Celtic Park: 4.0mi | 14 min drive
Funny that Ibrox Stadium - with the iconic Main Stand which is closer than the above is not given a mention. Bigotry alive in well in the hotel establishment management.
Won’t be returning or recommending.

FfionahutchisonBooked in for a concert at the hydro. Its so close that we easily had plenty time to get ready and be there to que early. We used the spa facilities too which were very clean and very relaxing. Bar accepted cash too so huge points for that. Will definitely book again. For our next concert.
GGuest UserWe have stayed at the Moxy before, hence our return!
Great for OMO and SEC and easy for the train to the city centre if you don’t want the walk.
Didn’t have food this time but it was great last time. Can book for breakfast before 12 midnight to get for £12 ( instead of £15).
Staff friendly.
Room was great even though shower room was tiny, room for one. (but how much room do you need 😄?)
NNantongdadikeThe hotel is right in the city center, very close to the train station, about a 5-minute walk. The room wasn't huge, but it was very clean and tidy. The breakfast had a good variety of fruit, so it was decent.

AAnonymous UserFriendly receptionists, booked the room pretty last minute and got a free room upgrade. The room had the bare minimum of what you would expect to have, location wise, it is right above the Charing Cross station, but it’s a pretty far walk from the main area

CCKPanI have lived in Glasgow for over 50 years. This is my return visit to my home City. I was pleasantly surprised to find this R hotel recommended by Trip.com.
It's totally a new and interesting experience of staying in such a cool place. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The travellers I met these few days were all interesting people ranging from a elderly couple from Argentina, two French ladies, one Californian and mainland Chinese from QinDao. They all have exciting stories. I was fascinated in getting to know them in such a welcoming hotel setting.
I really enjoyed the new of staying over in a hustle and bustling city and found the Revolver a good hiding place not to mention the facilities provided on the roof top including sauna and spa. Excellent quiet and sunny place. I enjoyed my solitude up there!
Thanks to Kier, one of the receptionists for his wealth of travel experience. He is my new 'Malaysian' country man. Hi! buddy, keep up the good work together with your colleagues. Your services are highly recommended.
With appreciation of the genuine welcome 🤗
I will be back. Incidentally I missed my flight home yesterday. So I returned after checking out!! It shows my liking of the Revolver. Well done!

GGuest UserSadly, our trip was terrible. Our room was directly across from the elevators, people were coming and going all night and making a noise, coaches were arriving , fire alarm went off numerous times at 7am. We decided to leave as soon as possible. The trip was meant to be a resting stop for our 8 hour journey and we were exhausted when we left. A refund would be expected for such a bad experience, however the gentleman at the desk just apologised for the inconvenience.
