"The location is perfect as it is less than 10 minute walk to the atomic dome. We are a family of 4 and we booked the large suite. Water pressure was great, space was great, breakfast was great and service was great and price point is great. Only thing I must say like other commenters is that it is very outdated and in need of updating. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling since there was no ventilation. I guess that’s why it is a very good value since it is really outdated but pretty clean. The parking is not at the hotel but a few blocks away at an affiliated parking lot but they give a special rate (¥1200 per day parking from 2pm-11am). Overall I highly recommend this hotel for the service and great value."

"This hotel opened this year and has an excellent location, right above Hiroshima Station. It's incredibly convenient for catching JR trains and the Shinkansen, as you can just take the elevator directly to the second floor. From the second floor, you can also catch the streetcar, and just outside on the ground floor, there's a loop bus for easy access to Hiroshima's attractions.
The new Minamoa shopping complex inside Hiroshima Station is great for browsing and offers a wide variety of food options. Nearby, you'll also find Bic Camera and Fukuya Department Store.
To get to the hotel from the airport, simply take the airport limousine bus directly to Hiroshima Station; it's about a 50-minute ride."

"The hotel is located a bit further from the city center than what I imagined.
Overall the stay was great, the room is spacious, a bit old… The breakfast was very busy (had to wait 5 min before going in), the breakfast buffet has therefore a large variety of choices. No hot chocolate though…

"The hotel staff was very friendly and always ready to help when you enter the hotel. They also understands English when my Japanese fails me haha.
They have a coffee machine that one can use once a day behind the staircase.
They also have breakfast in buffet style only for ¥500. I find it quite delicious, you can purchase the ticket at the counter. You have buy in advance as it might run out.
The location is very convenient its less than 5 minutes walk to the closest tram station. It is also close the atomic bomb museum. You can also borrow mama chari(bicycle) from the hotel for up to 4 hours. It is convenient for getting food or go to the peace park.
They have sleepwear and amenities you can take opposite the front desk."

"Modern and clean hotel, located close to the electric train (trams) Reception is located on the top floor (14) lots of nice accessories available plus lovely snacks and coffee/tea through out the day, highly appreciated. Room was lovely, clean, has small window, but not an issue. Breakfast was standard, and staff were polite. Shops and restaurants on road, easy to walk to memorial park, about 15 minutes, 3 stops from main train station, easy to navigate to Miyajimaguchi island. Wonderful two days."

"Toyoko Inn No. 1 and No. 2 are about the same distance from Hiroshima JR Station.
I stayed at No. 2 this time. I got off the airport bus and walked to the hotel in 7 or 8 minutes.
The hotel lobby and breakfast area are together. There were many people when I checked in, and it was very crowded. There was a guy who could speak Chinese, which saved me a lot of trouble. However, the hotel can only enter the room at 4 pm. You can check in one hour earlier by paying 1,500 yen for membership.
The room is really small, and the facilities are simple. There is a long queue during breakfast, which is really bad. I can only stop complaining because of the cheap price."

"The hotel is very close to the railway station with a convenience store just round the street corner. The staff are friendly and the room is exceptionally clean and comfortable. GGuest UserThe location is incredibly convenient. The airport shuttle is right downstairs, and you can directly access the JR and Shinkansen stations from the second floor. Shopping and getting around are super easy. The hotel service is excellent. They have a happy hour every night from 5-7 PM with half-price drinks, and you can even order sushi and tempura at reasonable prices. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

The staff are all helpful and friendly and the rooms are new and modern design.
The views from the room and the rooftop bar are spectacular. You will not be disappointed with your stay at the Knott Hotel.

KKhabibov IlnurGreat room. It was clean and cozy. The staff were polite and friendly. Free coffee from a machine is available at the front desk. A 7-Eleven is conveniently located right next door. The room doesn't have wardrobes or much space for large suitcases, but it's perfectly fine for travelers with smaller luggage. The hotel offers two washing machines and two dryers; however, expect queues in the evenings, so doing laundry in the morning or afternoon is recommended. Overall, I have wonderful memories of my stay.

The toiletries provided in the bathroom didn't live up to the Hilton brand standard. Also, the breakfast selection was a bit limited. Of all the hotels I stayed at during my trip to Japan, this one felt significantly lacking in the details compared to local Japanese brands.

I also appreciated the free bicycle rental for up to 3 hours. I've had breakfast at various Vessel Hotels before and always trusted their quality, so I applied for it here. However, I was quite disappointed with the breakfast this time – the variety was limited and the taste wasn't great. I ate it for 5 days and there was almost no change, so I wouldn't recommend the breakfast. Apart from the breakfast, I was very satisfied with the cleanliness and room condition.

DDarren_in_BarcelonaThis is my second stay at a Livemax hotel after staying at a branch in Tokyo. I was pleasantly surprised with the Hiroshima branch as the service had been so bad in Tokyo. The reception staff were very friendly and polite. The room was spacious and quiet. It was really close to the peace memorial and atomic bomb dome. Also the bus to Hiroshima airport is less than a 10 minute walk. The neighborhood was really quiet and guests can enjoy a walk along the river at any time of day. I’d recommend this hotel for a stay in Hiroshima!

I traveled to Hiroshima specifically to learn about the devastation of the atomic bomb and sign a petition for the abolition of nuclear weapons, expressing my hope for world peace. While this hotel is a bit far from the city center, it offers a tranquil riverside promenade right outside your doorstep. Breakfast also includes a recommended lunch box, which was quite good. The downside is that the hotel lacks parking, requiring you to find it in the surrounding alleyways.
