Hotels in Edogawa Ward,Tokyo
With a stay at KOKO HOTEL Tokyo Nishikasai in Tokyo (Edogawa), you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Tokyo Disney Resort® and Tokyo Disneyland®. Buffet breakfasts are available daily from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM for a fee. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Private bathrooms with bathtubs or showers feature complimentary toiletries and hair dryers.

"The hotel was very dated and needed some retouching and revamp. I booked a smoking room but the smell of the smoking room was unbearable and I ended up upgrading to a non-smoking room when it was only available after a 2 night stay. The hardware of the hotel was really a downside. But it compensated with their excellent service, the amenities and the good location. It was very close to the metro. Basically it was only 3 mins walk to the metro platform. The hotel provides bath salt, face wash, lotion, hair band, and all the toiletries that are needed. Although the rooms are dated, it was well maintained and very clean. I would like to highlight, from the front desk staff to the cleaner, they were all very very helpful and polite, although some may not smile. I didn't try their breakfast as the spread didn't suit my preference. It would be good if a more extensive selection of breakfast choices are added, eg, kaisen don, curry, etc. To conclude, it was a family oriented hotel, so if you're on a budget, this is the right choice. Unfortunately I didn't manage to take a picture of the hotel room with my tight itinerary..except the thoughtful note for my baggage after I checked out."

"My flight was canceled, and my connecting flight was delayed, so I spontaneously booked this hotel for an overnight layover. It's located right in Terminal 3, and you can get there directly via the concourse, which is lined with all sorts of shops and restaurants. From now on, I'm only flying into Haneda when I go to Tokyo and staying here. For just over 500 RMB, it includes 4000 JPY for the hot springs and breakfast – incredible value for money! I highly recommend the soda bath; there are three indoor ones and three outdoor ones on the top floor with amazing views. I definitely recommend it to everyone – you have to experience it!"

"Shin-Yokohama is quite a distance from central Yokohama. If you're looking to explore areas like Minato Mirai, you'll definitely need to factor in some travel time and transfers. The hotel's location is decent, situated above the 10th floor of a shopping mall connected to the station. The ambiance is acceptable, but service was average, and the front desk staff's English proficiency was limited. The rooms are standard. Overall, it's more suitable for business travelers and not really ideal for a leisure trip."

"One of the main reasons we chose to stay here was its supposedly convenient location. I’d recommend it if you’ll be spending most of your time in Ikebukuro, don’t have early-morning plans, and expect to be back at the hotel by around 10pm each night. Otherwise, you may find yourself taking a much longer walk around Sunshine City to reach the hotel entrance — easily 15 minutes or more — as the mall-connected entrance closes after 10pm. That said, we were lucky enough to catch a clear winter day and spot Mount Fuji from our room. Unexpected, but truly rewarding."

"The room was clean and quite new, and there was a front desk staff member who spoke Chinese. Check-out is at 10 AM. To get there, take the north exit (Exit 22) from Ikebukuro Station East Exit, turn right, go up the stairs, cross the zebra crossing, and you'll see a large drug store... I personally think the prices at Sando Raku are quite good; you get a 5% discount if you spend over 30,000 JPY, and most stores offer tax exemption for purchases over 5,000 or 5,500 JPY, I can't quite remember. I find staying in Ikebukuro very convenient, as it's close to all the places I want to visit, like Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ginza, Akihabara, and Odaiba. Plus, it's a shopping district, so you can find anything you want, including Daiso, GU, Miniso, and a local brand bag shop where I bought one for my mom for only a few thousand yen – so cheap!"

"Booked this purely for the location to get back to narita airport. It took roughly 1.5 hours from this hotel. Bedroom is small but good for the location. Shower pressure was good, the bed was reasonably comfortable, but they were pretty stingey with the towels. They're also paper thin so you'd need more than 1 to dry yourself with. Wouldn't stay here again unless I'm travelling to Narita airport the following day."

"Overall our 3 nights’ stay is not as satisfactory as other hotels that I have stayed in Tokyo… 1. We requested for normal cleaning but yet they did not make our beds after the first night. We called them to feedback n yet they insisted to come up to the room and check! Are they implying we lied?😞 2. After the second night, the housekeeping forgot to wash the cups n left a cleaning towel in the room😣 3. The access cards did not work after the first day.. they have to be reactivated"

"The hotel's location is excellent, just a three-minute walk from the subway station. Right across the street is a lively food street, so you don't have to worry about dining options. The hotel's historic Japanese garden is truly beautiful; I was genuinely amazed when I explored it for the first time, especially considering such a large garden has been preserved right in the middle of a bustling city center! The guest rooms are quite spacious for Japan, around 40 square meters, but I couldn't help but notice that the decor felt surprisingly like an American hotel. My biggest complaint has to be that the bathroom surprisingly doesn't have a separate shower stall; you have to climb into the bathtub to shower."

"I recently stayed at a hotel in Tokyo and had such a positive experience. From the moment I made the booking, the staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, especially towards foreigners. They made the entire process smooth and easy, ensuring I had all the details I needed for my stay. The hospitality truly stood out — the staff were polite, patient, and always ready to answer my questions, whether it was about transportation, local attractions, or small requests during my stay. It really made me feel comfortable and taken care of in a new city. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Tokyo, especially international travelers. GGuest UserThe location is excellent — just 5 minutes’ walk to Asakusa Temple and around 10 minutes to Tokyo Skytree. The train station is conveniently located right opposite the hotel, making transportation very easy. The surrounding area is vibrant, with plenty of eateries, shops, pharmacies, and things to explore. Truly a lively and convenient place to stay. However, service from the hotel staff was just average. The room was quite small and didn’t allow us to fully open our luggage, which was a bit inconvenient. The breakfast selection was disappointing. Overall, it's a good choice if location is your priority, but there’s room for improvement in service, room space, and food quality.

GGuest UserThe hotel stay is wonderful. The hotel is huge with an enormous lobby, looks sleek, and is classy with the dim light. The lobby is located at 20th floor, no comments on the bf as I only booked the room without bf. Check in and out are effortless. Staff is friendly and approachable. Amenities in room are plentiful and abundant. All shampoo, conditioner and bath lotion come in big bottles so it is more than sufficient for use. Inside bathroom, you can control the volume and listen to the TV you on outside so it is very useful. In room has the Alexa which you can easily communicate with it for anything of interest to you. Besides, the hotel is very conveniently located, near to Shinjuku station and the nearby shopping malls. The room is huge and comes with bathtub and it has a balcony area too. Highly recommended for staying here in Tokyo. You will not regret definitely!

JjudaeaThe hotel's location is superb, a quiet haven amidst the city's buzz, with Shinjuku's main commercial area within walking distance. Airport bus stops and subway stations are also just a few minutes' walk away. As expected, the hotel's cleanliness was up to Japanese standards. The service was attentive; upon check-in, the air conditioning had already been turned on, creating a comfortable environment. Toiletries provided were from P*OLA, and other personal care items were available for self-collection. Highly recommended; it will be my top choice for my next stay.

WWoshixinxinya001The biggest highlight of this hotel is its impeccable location, right next to Akihabara Station, with multiple train lines converging, making it incredibly easy to access all parts of Tokyo. For visitors who love anime and electronics, the surrounding area is a huge draw. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy, and although small, they are cleverly laid out, typical of business hotels in Tokyo. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options and is well-received. However, some guests have reported issues such as others attempting to open their door late at night or minor cleanliness oversights in their rooms, so it's advisable to be a bit more vigilant during your stay. Overall, it's a practical choice for those prioritizing convenient transportation.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel was very thoughtful to arrange a baby cot for us based on our advance email request. The Japanese ladies at the front desk provided excellent service. However, there was one male staff member who spoke in a rather harsh tone; he even blocked our access to the elevator to specifically escort another Japanese guest. Despite this, every other staff member was truly excellent, offering warm and attentive service. The room itself was standard but perfectly adequate. What truly stood out were the complimentary snacks and the delicious late-night Ochazuke provided by the hotel. The location is incredibly convenient, right next to a subway entrance and within walking distance to Ginza. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

GGuest UserKeio Plaza Hotel Tokyo is situated in an excellent location and is very convenient for getting around. The staff are highly professional and extremely helpful. I was struggling with my shopping bags, and when a staff member noticed me, he quickly came over to assist without being asked. I would also like to commend another staff member at the information counter, though I unfortunately did not catch his name. When I asked for directions to a train station to visit the Making of Harry Potter, he kindly offered to walk me all the way to the station. As it was my first time staying at this hotel, I was truly grateful for his assistance. The room I booked included access to the Sky Lounge, which had an awesome view and was an excellent place to relax. Entry was complimentary for hotel guests, while non-guests have to pay. Drinks and Starbucks coffee were also available for free, which was a nice bonus. I am very much looking forward to staying at this hotel again.

Ssulee17Dormy Inn Ueno-Okachimachi boasts an excellent location, being just the shortest walk from Ueno Station. On our way, we even spotted a Torikizoku sign, and we ended up dining there one evening. Of course, with so many restaurants right across from the hotel and in the surrounding area, my 'choice paralysis' definitely kicked in! The main reason we chose Dormy Inn was for its large public bath, complete with complimentary popsicles and Yakult after a relaxing soak. Breakfast was also fantastic; the fried shrimp in the morning was absolutely divine. The breakfast was so substantial that we stayed full throughout our two-day stay, meaning we even skipped their complimentary Yonaki Soba (late-night ramen) in the evenings. The hotel only has one elevator, so there was a bit of a wait during peak hours. From our room, we had a view of the Tokyo Skytree. Despite being right next to the Shuto Expressway, there was absolutely no traffic noise, which speaks volumes about their excellent soundproofing.

HHuajuangcyI almost overlooked this hotel after reading so many reviews. The room is indeed quite small, especially for the price of over 1000 yen, but that's pretty normal for Ginza, Tokyo. However, it boasts a natural hot spring. While not huge, it's still comfortable for a soak. The highlight, though, is definitely the small bar in the evening. I saw a sign that says non-guests can use the hot spring and bar for 5000 yen, so it's a really good deal for those staying there. It's completely self-service, but the breakfast, a single pastry and a bowl of soup, is a bit disappointing for the price. On the first floor, you can choose your pillow and there are many toiletries available. The transportation is also very convenient; a single bus from the airport takes you to Ginza, and then it's just an 800-meter walk to the hotel. The front desk also offers facial masks, and the staff were lovely.

YYuehaihongdieThe hotel is a convenient 6-7 minute walk from Ikebukuro Station's underground exit A20. However, coming from the airport bus stop, it took us about 15 minutes. Dining and shopping options are plentiful and convenient near the hotel; it's also very close to some specialty shops. There are many hotels of similar scale in the vicinity, most of them advertising their own hot spring baths (onsen). After comparing several options, this hotel stood out for its value for money, primarily because it offers triple rooms, which are quite rare in Japan. However, upon checking in, we felt that this type of triple room is really only suitable for families with children under 10. With my 15-year-old son, we were effectively three adults, and the room was so narrow that only one person could pass at a time. The window couldn't be opened, making it feel quite cramped and stuffy. The room layout was minimalist, but it came with plenty of power outlets and even a multi-head charging cable. Since there's a hot spring bath (onsen), most guests hardly used the in-room bathroom. Given the space constraints, walls in budget hotels are typically thin, leading to potential soundproofing issues. However, during our stay, everyone was very considerate, and we didn't notice any disruptive noise. Compared to other hotels, the onsen here has extended opening hours, so you can still enjoy a relaxing soak even if you return late. The bath uses carbonated water. While the pool isn't large, the water quality was impeccably clean. Many of the hotel's thoughtful details are truly commendable. For instance, women checking in receive a complimentary, exquisite beauty and skincare amenity kit daily, with two options to choose from. There's welcome juice at the front desk. Additionally, every day from approximately 4 PM to 8 PM, a complimentary self-service drink bar is available on the 2nd floor, which is wonderfully refreshing after a bath. Furthermore, each floor features a 'pillow bar' where guests can select their preferred pillow, put on a fresh pillowcase, and return it after use. Regarding room cleaning services: For consecutive stays, guests have the option to forgo daily cleaning, in which case they receive two complimentary bottles of water and fresh towels. If cleaning is desired, the 'Please Clean' sign must be displayed on the door before 10 AM, and service can only be performed after guests have vacated the room. The hotel policy strictly states that cleaning cannot be carried out while guests are present in the room. Moving on to breakfast: it's primarily Japanese style. While the variety isn't extensive, it's very comprehensive and sufficient to cater to most palates, with the small pastries/breads being particularly delicious. We had read previous reviews mentioning less-than-friendly front desk staff, but we personally didn't experience that at all during our entire stay. While they weren't overly enthusiastic, they were unfailingly polite and professional, always answering our questions thoroughly. In summary: this hotel truly stands out among similar budget-friendly establishments. A plaque in the lobby proudly displays its recognition as a 'Most Popular Hotel' for several consecutive years, a title it genuinely deserves. Aside from the triple room being excessively small and feeling rather cramped, all other details and facilities were excellent. For a stay of two people or fewer, who plan to be out exploring during the day and simply need a comfortable place to sleep at night, this hotel comes highly recommended.
