Hotels in Edogawa Ward,Tokyo
With a stay at KOKO HOTEL Tokyo Nishikasai in Tokyo (Edogawa), you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Tokyo Disney Resort® and Tokyo Disneyland®. Buffet breakfasts are available daily from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM for a fee. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Make yourself at home in one of the 184 air-conditioned guestrooms. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Private bathrooms with bathtubs or showers feature complimentary toiletries and hair dryers.

"The hotel was very dated and needed some retouching and revamp. I booked a smoking room but the smell of the smoking room was unbearable and I ended up upgrading to a non-smoking room when it was only available after a 2 night stay. The hardware of the hotel was really a downside. But it compensated with their excellent service, the amenities and the good location. It was very close to the metro. Basically it was only 3 mins walk to the metro platform. The hotel provides bath salt, face wash, lotion, hair band, and all the toiletries that are needed. Although the rooms are dated, it was well maintained and very clean. I would like to highlight, from the front desk staff to the cleaner, they were all very very helpful and polite, although some may not smile. I didn't try their breakfast as the spread didn't suit my preference. It would be good if a more extensive selection of breakfast choices are added, eg, kaisen don, curry, etc. To conclude, it was a family oriented hotel, so if you're on a budget, this is the right choice. Unfortunately I didn't manage to take a picture of the hotel room with my tight itinerary..except the thoughtful note for my baggage after I checked out."

"I stayed at this hotel for four nights on a business trip, as its location made my morning and evening commutes to my office in Japan very convenient. My accompanying spouse also found it very easy to explore various popular destinations in Yokohama independently via the light rail. The hotel boasts a superb location; an airport shuttle stop is conveniently located right near the hotel, and there are plenty of dining options both downstairs and within the building. However, the price difference on Ctrip between rooms with and without breakfast is unusually large and doesn't seem to align with the hotel's actual breakfast charge. I suggest verifying and updating this so that guests can more easily choose breakfast-inclusive options when booking through Ctrip."

"The hotel is a bit of a walk from Ikebukuro Station, you have to go through the pedestrian street. It's closer to Ikebukuro East Station, and you can access the lobby directly from the mall downstairs. It's a very busy hotel with many different tour groups. The rooms feel a bit dated, and the central air conditioning doesn't allow for temperature adjustment. Even when it's on, I didn't feel any heat. The windows don't open at all, so the room isn't ventilated. The soundproofing isn't great; you can hear noise from the neighboring room and upstairs."

"Hotel is located away from the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku but still near enough (2 stops away from the main Shinjuku station). There are many convenience stores and eateries nearby. Hotel provides amenities eg toothbrush but you take what you need at the lobby. There’s a microwave, washing machines, some vending machines and a smoking room next to the reception. Room and toilet is small, tidy but quite barebones, and for the most part it’s kind of clean but I want to mention that it took me 3 days to notice some brown stains smeared on the bathroom wall (ahem). My room was cleaned once every 4 days, but at the very least clean towels and 2 bottles of drinking water were provided daily. Service from hotel staff was average (neither warm/forthcoming nor off-putting). Overall it was a pretty average and decent experience, and you get what you pay for."

"The complimentary breakfast is okay for a quick bite if you're not too particular. The selection isn't extensive and leans towards Japanese style. My kids weren't keen on it, and by 8 AM on the second day, all the croissants were already gone. A microwave is available if you want to heat up your own food. Having a cold water dispenser is a nice bonus. The lady at the front desk was incredibly friendly. Although her English wasn't perfect, she made every effort to explain directions very clearly, which was extremely helpful."

"Overall our 3 nights’ stay is not as satisfactory as other hotels that I have stayed in Tokyo… 1. We requested for normal cleaning but yet they did not make our beds after the first night. We called them to feedback n yet they insisted to come up to the room and check! Are they implying we lied?😞 2. After the second night, the housekeeping forgot to wash the cups n left a cleaning towel in the room😣 3. The access cards did not work after the first day.. they have to be reactivated"

"I recently stayed at a hotel in Tokyo and had such a positive experience. From the moment I made the booking, the staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, especially towards foreigners. They made the entire process smooth and easy, ensuring I had all the details I needed for my stay. The hospitality truly stood out — the staff were polite, patient, and always ready to answer my questions, whether it was about transportation, local attractions, or small requests during my stay. It really made me feel comfortable and taken care of in a new city. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Tokyo, especially international travelers. The location was convenient, the service was excellent, and the friendly approach of the staff made the experience memorable."

GGuest UserThe location is excellent — just 5 minutes’ walk to Asakusa Temple and around 10 minutes to Tokyo Skytree. The train station is conveniently located right opposite the hotel, making transportation very easy. The surrounding area is vibrant, with plenty of eateries, shops, pharmacies, and things to explore. Truly a lively and convenient place to stay. However, service from the hotel staff was just average. The room was quite small and didn’t allow us to fully open our luggage, which was a bit inconvenient. The breakfast selection was disappointing. Overall, it's a good choice if location is your priority, but there’s room for improvement in service, room space, and food quality.

GGuest UserThe hotel stay is wonderful. The hotel is huge with an enormous lobby, looks sleek, and is classy with the dim light. The lobby is located at 20th floor, no comments on the bf as I only booked the room without bf. Check in and out are effortless. Staff is friendly and approachable. Amenities in room are plentiful and abundant. All shampoo, conditioner and bath lotion come in big bottles so it is more than sufficient for use. Inside bathroom, you can control the volume and listen to the TV you on outside so it is very useful. In room has the Alexa which you can easily communicate with it for anything of interest to you. Besides, the hotel is very conveniently located, near to Shinjuku station and the nearby shopping malls. The room is huge and comes with bathtub and it has a balcony area too. Highly recommended for staying here in Tokyo. You will not regret definitely!

ZZhengzhuoxiahuashuoyanjingThe hotel is conveniently located just a few hundred meters from Akihabara Station, a short walk from the JR exit. The front desk has English-speaking staff to assist with check-in. If you sign up as a member during check-in, you can choose between a gashapon or a 1-hour late check-out. Japanese hotel rooms are generally small, but they are impeccably clean. Most hotels in Tokyo don't offer complimentary bottled water, but the front desk gave us two bottles upon arrival, and the tap water is potable. Each floor also has vending machines and microwaves, though the hotel's vending machines only accept cash, no card payments. Breakfast is served next to the front desk, but it's not very appealing to a Chinese palate. However, there are plenty of Starbucks and convenience stores nearby where you can grab a bite. The hotel's soundproofing is excellent; despite being right next to the railway, it's not noisy at all.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel was very thoughtful to arrange a baby cot for us based on our advance email request. The Japanese ladies at the front desk provided excellent service. However, there was one male staff member who spoke in a rather harsh tone; he even blocked our access to the elevator to specifically escort another Japanese guest. Despite this, every other staff member was truly excellent, offering warm and attentive service. The room itself was standard but perfectly adequate. What truly stood out were the complimentary snacks and the delicious late-night Ochazuke provided by the hotel. The location is incredibly convenient, right next to a subway entrance and within walking distance to Ginza. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

CCelyn BBRoom is clean and spacious. We stayed at the main block, newly renovated. It's rare to find such spacious room in Tokyo. Breakfast buffet was good, you can choose between Western / Japanese set meal and international buffet. The international buffet includes a wide spread of dishes, especially Japanese dishes. The hotel is about 15min walk away from the Kabukicho where all the happening bars and restaurants are. It was quite a walk from the JR Nex station to the hotel though, need to find the West Concourse and walk thru an underpass (see photo). The only ”complaint” I have is that the hotel needs to consider having more elevators, it's crowded in the morning and some guests couldn't get into the elevator. Usually a long queue for the elevators at the lobby floor.

YyidamAs it's a Japanese-style room, they've opted for a rather long entrance hall, which unfortunately makes the bedroom feel a bit cramped. However, despite the compact size, it's incredibly well-equipped. All essential amenities are provided, and even the bathroom isn't small, making it perfectly sufficient for a solo traveler to relax and unwind. Right outside the hotel, there's a vibrant array of eateries, somewhat akin to Chinese street food stalls, making the evenings very lively. Plus, it's conveniently close to the subway station. The top floor boasts a public bath and sauna, while the lounge area provides a free ice machine and complimentary ice cream. They even offer a free bowl of soba noodles in the evenings, which collectively makes it truly excellent value for money. Self-service laundry facilities (washer and dryer) are also available on the top floor. You'll need to ask staff to activate them, and there's a charge for the dryer.

HHuajuangcyI almost overlooked this hotel after reading so many reviews. The room is indeed quite small, especially for the price of over 1000 yen, but that's pretty normal for Ginza, Tokyo. However, it boasts a natural hot spring. While not huge, it's still comfortable for a soak. The highlight, though, is definitely the small bar in the evening. I saw a sign that says non-guests can use the hot spring and bar for 5000 yen, so it's a really good deal for those staying there. It's completely self-service, but the breakfast, a single pastry and a bowl of soup, is a bit disappointing for the price. On the first floor, you can choose your pillow and there are many toiletries available. The transportation is also very convenient; a single bus from the airport takes you to Ginza, and then it's just an 800-meter walk to the hotel. The front desk also offers facial masks, and the staff were lovely.

YYuehaihongdieThe hotel is a convenient 6-7 minute walk from Ikebukuro Station's underground exit A20. However, coming from the airport bus stop, it took us about 15 minutes. Dining and shopping options are plentiful and convenient near the hotel; it's also very close to some specialty shops. There are many hotels of similar scale in the vicinity, most of them advertising their own hot spring baths (onsen). After comparing several options, this hotel stood out for its value for money, primarily because it offers triple rooms, which are quite rare in Japan. However, upon checking in, we felt that this type of triple room is really only suitable for families with children under 10. With my 15-year-old son, we were effectively three adults, and the room was so narrow that only one person could pass at a time. The window couldn't be opened, making it feel quite cramped and stuffy. The room layout was minimalist, but it came with plenty of power outlets and even a multi-head charging cable. Since there's a hot spring bath (onsen), most guests hardly used the in-room bathroom. Given the space constraints, walls in budget hotels are typically thin, leading to potential soundproofing issues. However, during our stay, everyone was very considerate, and we didn't notice any disruptive noise. Compared to other hotels, the onsen here has extended opening hours, so you can still enjoy a relaxing soak even if you return late. The bath uses carbonated water. While the pool isn't large, the water quality was impeccably clean. Many of the hotel's thoughtful details are truly commendable. For instance, women checking in receive a complimentary, exquisite beauty and skincare amenity kit daily, with two options to choose from. There's welcome juice at the front desk. Additionally, every day from approximately 4 PM to 8 PM, a complimentary self-service drink bar is available on the 2nd floor, which is wonderfully refreshing after a bath. Furthermore, each floor features a 'pillow bar' where guests can select their preferred pillow, put on a fresh pillowcase, and return it after use. Regarding room cleaning services: For consecutive stays, guests have the option to forgo daily cleaning, in which case they receive two complimentary bottles of water and fresh towels. If cleaning is desired, the 'Please Clean' sign must be displayed on the door before 10 AM, and service can only be performed after guests have vacated the room. The hotel policy strictly states that cleaning cannot be carried out while guests are present in the room. Moving on to breakfast: it's primarily Japanese style. While the variety isn't extensive, it's very comprehensive and sufficient to cater to most palates, with the small pastries/breads being particularly delicious. We had read previous reviews mentioning less-than-friendly front desk staff, but we personally didn't experience that at all during our entire stay. While they weren't overly enthusiastic, they were unfailingly polite and professional, always answering our questions thoroughly. In summary: this hotel truly stands out among similar budget-friendly establishments. A plaque in the lobby proudly displays its recognition as a 'Most Popular Hotel' for several consecutive years, a title it genuinely deserves. Aside from the triple room being excessively small and feeling rather cramped, all other details and facilities were excellent. For a stay of two people or fewer, who plan to be out exploring during the day and simply need a comfortable place to sleep at night, this hotel comes highly recommended.

GGuest UserI arrived around 9:00 AM on Friday, October 10th, to drop off my luggage before check-in. The desk clerk, perhaps sleepy, tired, or busy, spoke in an overly quiet and reserved voice, forcing me to ask questions. Her expression was dispassionate. If the staff's work is demanding, then the hotel needs to improve. If it's solely the female employee's problem, then I believe some action is needed.
