"Beyond being a bit of a walk from the subway, everything else was impeccable. The room was spacious, and the corner glass windows offered great views. The tower building was affordable, unlike the main building which was out of my price range. The garden was expansive, though the cherry blossoms weren't in full bloom yet, so there weren't many flowers. The lower floors are all shopping malls; you can spend a lot of time just wandering around the hotel, from the tower to the main building. It's a great way to pass the time."

"This is a century-old, five-star hotel in Tokyo with a rich history, and I booked it specifically for that reason, staying for two nights. As expected, the service was top-notch; my luggage was delivered directly to my room. The public areas are fully carpeted, adding a real sense of grandeur. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. It's also conveniently located near Yurakucho Station, just be mindful of the exit."

"The masseuse I booked for room 1922 on the evening of Feb 26th was amazing, instantly relieving my tired legs. The room was a bit small, and it was very noisy at night with a lot of bikers on the road. Light sleepers should definitely reconsider. However, the hotel's location is unbeatable – right opposite Don Quijote, and there's FamilyMart, 7-Eleven, and Lawson downstairs, so you can easily buy things. The front desk staff were great. One night, I had a last-minute booking for a different room type, and they patiently explained the room change process to me. All I had to do was pack my bags and hand over the room card, then I could go out and enjoy myself, and a staff member would help move my luggage to the new room. There's no complimentary bottled water in the room, so you have to boil your own. The air purifier needs to be filled with water for humidification. Lighting and AC are controlled by remote, which feels a bit basic. Other than that, it was alright."

"The hotel is conveniently located right above the airport bus stop, which is great, but honestly, there's not much difference in price if you take a taxi. I'd still recommend a taxi. The hotel is surrounded by excellent amenities; you can reach it right after exiting the subway. There are plenty of shopping malls and restaurants to choose from nearby. It's only a 30-minute ride from the hotel to downtown Tokyo, and getting to the airport by taxi takes just over ten minutes. I especially recommend the hotel's balcony! 🙊"

"Not my first time staying in this chain but the first time at this hotel. Room was a bit more spacious and the view was better for me, cause I love a lot of natural sunlight. Everything was perfect. Reception was so helpful with all my needs. They sent my luggage to my next hotel and it arrived next morning before midday. Location is superb. Literally in the heart of Ginza. MITSUKOSHI right in front of the hotel just cross the road. Happy Pancake literally 1 min away, right in the next corner. Metro station right next to the entrance."

"Facilities: Very comprehensive. B2 is the smoking area, and there are full amenities like a gym and hot springs. Unfortunately, I couldn't use the hot springs because I have tattoos. Hygiene: The room was cleaned spotlessly every day. After cleaning, there was a sweet note and some chocolate 🍫. Environment: With a view of Tokyo Tower right outside the window, the environment speaks for itself – absolutely beautiful. There's a park downstairs. The bar on the 33rd floor has a comfortable atmosphere, and guests staying here get a discount, but seats closer to Tokyo Tower cost an extra 3,000 JPY. Free use of the Premium Club Lounge: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner can all be enjoyed here, and the food was quite delicious. However, the club only operates until 10 PM. Still, it's free, so I can't complain. Service: Overall, my experience here was excellent. The only slight drawback was the inconsistent service quality. The front desk staff on my first night were incredibly friendly and thoughtful. However, when checking out, the front desk attendant seemed a bit unhappy. I thought perhaps they were just having a bad day, which I can understand. But their impatient tone afterwards made me feel a little awkward. Nevertheless, it was a nearly perfect stay, leaving me with wonderful memories of Tokyo! I look forward to staying here again!"

"I stayed for five nights, and after enjoying Mount Fuji, I took a bus to Shinjuku and then walked about ten minutes to the hotel. The lobby is very spacious and grand. There's a bellboy at the entrance who speaks Chinese. The room photos are exactly like what's shown on the website, and the room itself is a bit larger than other hotels. I was very satisfied with the bathroom; it's spacious and has a bathtub for soaking. All the toiletries and amenities are well-stocked, with a complete set for each person. The gym is also excellent, with drinking water, towels, disinfectant wipes, and even energy bars – very impressive! On the second floor, there's a convenience store and many restaurants to choose from. We tried the teppanyaki wagyu and lobster combo set, and we were absolutely amazed by how delicious it was. There are also direct buses to both airports, and it's a starting station, which is super convenient. Overall, aside from the bed being a little bit firm, everything else was great. I'd definitely come back again!"

"Travelled to Japan for a 2 week getaway. Decided to treat myself to a better hotel. Turns out it was the best choice made on the trip. When I was checking in I was told I got a free upgrade, from the double room I booked (3-4th floor) I ended up on the 11th floor (top floor), although a simple upgrade it definitely enhanced the experience. Stayed for 7 nights and it felt amazing returning to a safe, clean and ultra comfortable room every night. Was able to see fuji-san from the balcony, what a treat! If any is considering upgrading their trip by booking a slightly more expensive room, please choose this one! Highly recommended!"

Outstanding
GGuest UserI come to Tokyo several times a year, staying a fortnight or more each time. This time I spent seven nights at The Capitol Hotel Tokyu. The room faced Hie Shrine. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows I could see the shrine's copper roof and half of Tokyo's skyline. The décor was modern without excess; the layout flowed easily, Bose speakers hidden in the walls, another set in the bathroom ceiling, connected by a 3.5mm jack. The curtains were motorized, though you hardly needed to close them. The turndown service. I would leave in the evening and return late to find the room changed: only the hallway light and bedside lamp left on, a bottle of water and a glass on the nightstand, two chocolates beside them. The evening tea and teacup, previously stored in the cabinet, had been moved next to the coffee machine. These changes were so slight you had to think back carefully to confirm they had happened at all. The temperature and humidity had been adjusted. As if the room itself remembered your habits. Room service fell short of the ryokan in Hakone or Lake Toya, but well above the ordinary hotel. Each day I made two or three cups of complimentary coffee, played music, read, wrote. In seven days I finished three books. The research ahead began to take shape. There were drawbacks. No washing machine, but a decent laundromat ten minutes' walk away—a chance to wander the streets of Akasaka. The room provided HDMI and ethernet ports but no cables; for those who came to rest, perhaps a mercy. The minibar fridge was mostly occupied by drinks for purchase, same as the Imperial, though there was still room for my sparkling water. The day I left it was half past five and fully dark. I could barely make out the faces of the bellhop and the taxi driver. Together they loaded my luggage into the boot. I wished the bellhop a happy new year in Japanese and told her I liked her hat. She smiled and returned the greeting. As the taxi pulled out of the underground drive, I thought of the inns Kawabata once wrote about: what had to be sought in the mountains of snow country can now be reached by elevator from the B2 exit of a metro station. I have watched the Shinagawa Prince Hotel loosen quietly over time, slip a little. That kind of decline is rarely one great error. It begins the day someone forgets to leave a glass of water, neglects to move a packet of tea, omits a newspaper. As for The Capitol Hotel Tokyu: in Japanese, what I experienced over these seven days is called ちょうどいい.

NNannanzhiyuThis hotel is super convenient, just a few minutes from the subway station, right by Nihonbashi. The breakfast was good too, served in individual small dishes. If you get a corner room, the space is decent. The highlight for me was the hotel's public bath – I went both days I stayed there.

MMax VinIf you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay in Tokyo, this hotel is a great choice. Tokyo can be extremely crowded, so coming back to a peaceful and silent hotel at the end of the day feels amazing. You won’t hear any noise at night, which I really appreciated. One of my favorite things is the outdoor private bath. After long walks around the city, soaking in a warm bath is the best way to relax. The water temperature is around 41.9°C, which feels perfect during cold weather. The bath is open until 1am, so you can enjoy it even after a late day out. I already miss it 🙌🏻 This trip was for my Lady Gaga concert, so I flew to Tokyo just for that. On Day 1, I arrived around 9:30am. The lobby is on the 36th floor, and the guest rooms are between 33rd to 35th floor, with nice views. Check-in is at 3pm, but the hotel allows luggage storage, so I left my bags and went out for breakfast and a slow walk. Near the hotel, there’s a small park and a Blue Bottle Coffee, where you can relax and enjoy the sea view — very chill and not crowded. 🚇Transportation is also very convenient. From the lobby, you can take the lift directly to B1, which connects to the train station and LaLaport. It’s super easy for shopping, dining, and getting around Tokyo. 🚬Tip for smokers: there is a smoking area next to the lobby restroom, and some floors also have smoking rooms. 🚍Tip for transportation : There is a direct airport bus service between Narita Airport and the hotel. From Narita Airport, I believe the service starts around 12pm, though I recommend confirming the latest schedule in advance. For the return trip from the hotel to Narita Airport, tickets can be purchased online. The hotel staff are very friendly, professional, and helpful — they will gladly assist with checking schedules and booking tickets if needed. Overall, this hotel is perfect if you want comfort, convenience, and a calm place to rest after a busy Tokyo day. Highly recommended.

Jjeffrey159I enjoyed the experience overall. The hotel is very close to the station, which made traveling around Tokyo very convenient. There is also a FamilyMart right below the hotel, perfect for quick snacks and essentials. The hotel has a hot spring and gym facilities, although I didn’t get the chance to use them during my stay. The room itself was super spacious compared to many hotels in Tokyo. The bed was comfortable, the bathtub was large and very clean, and I also liked the Bluetooth audio speaker provided in the room. My only complaint was the touchscreen air-conditioning control panel. It was not very responsive and honestly quite frustrating to use. I would have preferred a traditional remote controller instead. Aside from that, everything else felt modern, clean, and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

TTim NazarovHotel has a convenient location with Otemachi station entrance in same exact building around the corner. A few 24h conbini’s are located around. We had a room facing the park with a stunning view at the sunset and Mt.Fuji. The room itself is clean and spacious, everything needed was inside, staff changed towels daily. Smoking room is around reception and is really comfy as there are 2 vending machines. The only downside - pool operating ours are ending early, which is a bit strange as walking around Tokyo usually does not end around 6-7 pm. and would be great to stretch you legs after a long walk swimming in a pool before going to sleep

FFeierziThis was my third stay, and the hotel's location is fantastic, right inside the amusement park. Suidobashi Station is also incredibly convenient for transportation. The hotel is huge and very busy, but the price is quite reasonable. Given the volume of guests, it's understandable that the front desk staff might struggle to keep up. However, the self check-in/check-out machines are a nice addition. There are a couple of hardware issues: ① The elevators are very slow. Even with separate high and low zones, during peak check-out times in the morning, you might have to wait for several elevators before you can get down. I feel like the algorithm could be optimized. ② The rooms are advertised as over 30 square meters, but they don't feel that big – more like 25 square meters. It's hard to even lay a large suitcase flat. This is probably difficult to change. The biggest disappointment this time was that the Tokyo Dome City Attractions were closed due to ***. I tried to cancel my reservation a few days in advance, but it wasn't allowed, which felt a bit inflexible.

HHaidanbanfanThe room is very spacious, but the space isn't utilized very efficiently. The entrance hallway area is pretty much unused, and there's only a small table inside which isn't enough for personal items. The balcony is huge and offers great air; on a clear day, you can even see Mount Fuji. It's very close to the subway, so getting to Ginza, Shinjuku, or Shibuya usually takes less than 30 minutes.

GGuest UserFor my four-day trip to Tokyo, I chose this hotel. It's just a few minutes' walk from Tobu Department Store, and Parco and Seibu are also nearby, making shopping very convenient. There are plenty of dining options in the area; I recommend TORAJI. **Amenities**: Very complete. Besides basic toiletries like razors, toothbrushes, and combs, they also provide small sets of facial cleanser and makeup remover, which is very handy. There's a convenience store on the first floor and a smoking room on the sixth floor. **Cleanliness**: There were two issues: the shower curtain had a damp, musty smell, like clothes that hadn't dried properly on a rainy day; and there were small black particles in the hot water served at breakfast on the first floor. **Service**: The hotel staff speak English, and I also encountered staff who could communicate in Chinese, which was a great experience. Finally, if you have a 'Chinese palate,' I don't recommend eating breakfast on the first floor.

HHaoxianghaoxiangnvxiaDidn't expect to find such a great value-for-money hotel in Tokyo Bay. I was attending an exhibition in Odaiba, and it was just a 3-stop ride on the Yurikamome Line, then a 2-minute walk from the station exit on the same level to the hotel lobby. The hotel's main selling point is definitely the Tokyo Bay city night view. Even the hot spring on the 14th floor faces Tokyo Bay. The room size was adequate, but the cleanliness was a bit lacking, with noticeable dust accumulation in several spots. There are some restaurants directly opposite in Senkyaku Banrai. Also, during my 3-night stay, bottled water was only provided for two days. There was no water on the day I checked in, which was probably an oversight by housekeeping.

GGuest UserThe size of the room is good for 3 persons and we have a lovely stay. The hotel was able to accommodate us for late check out at a nominal fee since our flight is leaving mid night. We love the small garden park and the koi fish pond. The location is convenient as is near to Shinkansen and subway.
