"Beyond being a bit of a walk from the subway, everything else was impeccable. The room was spacious, and the corner glass windows offered great views. The tower building was affordable, unlike the main building which was out of my price range. The garden was expansive, though the cherry blossoms weren't in full bloom yet, so there weren't many flowers. The lower floors are all shopping malls; you can spend a lot of time just wandering around the hotel, from the tower to the main building. It's a great way to pass the time."

"Wonderful experience and I stayed at the Annex bldg and the room was very clean and I loved the very details of the hotel room which made my stay even more convenient. The noise from the train can be bothering but it will stop after 1am. So bear in mind if you’re sensitive about the noise. I will definitely come back to stay. Highly recommend!"

"The masseuse I booked for room 1922 on the evening of Feb 26th was amazing, instantly relieving my tired legs. The room was a bit small, and it was very noisy at night with a lot of bikers on the road. Light sleepers should definitely reconsider. However, the hotel's location is unbeatable – right opposite Don Quijote, and there's FamilyMart, 7-Eleven, and Lawson downstairs, so you can easily buy things. The front desk staff were great. One night, I had a last-minute booking for a different room type, and they patiently explained the room change process to me. All I had to do was pack my bags and hand over the room card, then I could go out and enjoy myself, and a staff member would help move my luggage to the new room. There's no complimentary bottled water in the room, so you have to boil your own. The air purifier needs to be filled with water for humidification. Lighting and AC are controlled by remote, which feels a bit basic. Other than that, it was alright."

"The hotel is conveniently located right above the airport bus stop, which is great, but honestly, there's not much difference in price if you take a taxi. I'd still recommend a taxi. The hotel is surrounded by excellent amenities; you can reach it right after exiting the subway. There are plenty of shopping malls and restaurants to choose from nearby. It's only a 30-minute ride from the hotel to downtown Tokyo, and getting to the airport by taxi takes just over ten minutes. I especially recommend the hotel's balcony! 🙊"

"I stayed at this hotel for four nights. It's quite convenient as you can take the LCB airport bus directly from Narita Airport Terminal 2 to Ginza, and then it's just a 10-minute walk to the hotel. It's all flat ground, so pulling luggage is a breeze. Taxis in Tokyo are very expensive, so this saved me a lot of money."

"Our stay at The Prince Park Tower Tokyo was excellent overall. The environment was quiet and elegant, and the views were stunning 🗼, truly giving us that Tokyo city getaway feel. For Tokyo, the room was quite spacious and very comfortable, with the view being a major plus – we could see the Tokyo Tower, and it was especially beautiful when lit up at night. The hotel's cleanliness was impeccable, and attention to detail was evident. We were also very satisfied with the service; the staff were friendly and efficient. The dining quality was generally good, with delicious food. It was also very convenient for traveling with children, offering ample space and a relaxed experience. Overall, it's a highly recommended hotel that we would definitely consider staying at again."

"I stayed for five nights, and after enjoying Mount Fuji, I took a bus to Shinjuku and then walked about ten minutes to the hotel. The lobby is very spacious and grand. There's a bellboy at the entrance who speaks Chinese. The room photos are exactly like what's shown on the website, and the room itself is a bit larger than other hotels. I was very satisfied with the bathroom; it's spacious and has a bathtub for soaking. All the toiletries and amenities are well-stocked, with a complete set for each person. The gym is also excellent, with drinking water, towels, disinfectant wipes, and even energy bars – very impressive! On the second floor, there's a convenience store and many restaurants to choose from. We tried the teppanyaki wagyu and lobster combo set, and we were absolutely amazed by how delicious it was. There are also direct buses to both airports, and it's a starting station, which is super convenient. Overall, aside from the bed being a little bit firm, everything else was great. I'd definitely come back again!"

"Travelled to Japan for a 2 week getaway. Decided to treat myself to a better hotel. Turns out it was the best choice made on the trip. When I was checking in I was told I got a free upgrade, from the double room I booked (3-4th floor) I ended up on the 11th floor (top floor), although a simple upgrade it definitely enhanced the experience. Stayed for 7 nights and it felt amazing returning to a safe, clean and ultra comfortable room every night. Was able to see fuji-san from the balcony, what a treat! If any is considering upgrading their trip by booking a slightly more expensive room, please choose this one! Highly recommended!"

GGuest UserI come to Tokyo several times a year, staying a fortnight or more each time. This time I spent seven nights at The Capitol Hotel Tokyu. The room faced Hie Shrine. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows I could see the shrine's copper roof and half of Tokyo's skyline. The décor was modern without excess; the layout flowed easily, Bose speakers hidden in the walls, another set in the bathroom ceiling, connected by a 3.5mm jack. The curtains were motorized, though you hardly needed to close them. The turndown service. I would leave in the evening and return late to find the room changed: only the hallway light and bedside lamp left on, a bottle of water and a glass on the nightstand, two chocolates beside them. The evening tea and teacup, previously stored in the cabinet, had been moved next to the coffee machine. These changes were so slight you had to think back carefully to confirm they had happened at all. The temperature and humidity had been adjusted. As if the room itself remembered your habits. Room service fell short of the ryokan in Hakone or Lake Toya, but well above the ordinary hotel. Each day I made two or three cups of complimentary coffee, played music, read, wrote. In seven days I finished three books. The research ahead began to take shape. There were drawbacks. No washing machine, but a decent laundromat ten minutes' walk away—a chance to wander the streets of Akasaka. The room provided HDMI and ethernet ports but no cables; for those who came to rest, perhaps a mercy. The minibar fridge was mostly occupied by drinks for purchase, same as the Imperial, though there was still room for my sparkling water. The day I left it was half past five and fully dark. I could barely make out the faces of the bellhop and the taxi driver. Together they loaded my luggage into the boot. I wished the bellhop a happy new year in Japanese and told her I liked her hat. She smiled and returned the greeting. As the taxi pulled out of the underground drive, I thought of the inns Kawabata once wrote about: what had to be sought in the mountains of snow country can now be reached by elevator from the B2 exit of a metro station. I have watched the Shinagawa Prince Hotel loosen quietly over time, slip a little. That kind of decline is rarely one great error. It begins the day someone forgets to leave a glass of water, neglects to move a packet of tea, omits a newspaper. As for The Capitol Hotel Tokyu: in Japanese, what I experienced over these seven days is called ちょうどいい.

NNannanzhiyuThis hotel is super convenient, just a few minutes from the subway station, right by Nihonbashi. The breakfast was good too, served in individual small dishes. If you get a corner room, the space is decent. The highlight for me was the hotel's public bath – I went both days I stayed there.

MMax VinIf you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay in Tokyo, this hotel is a great choice. Tokyo can be extremely crowded, so coming back to a peaceful and silent hotel at the end of the day feels amazing. You won’t hear any noise at night, which I really appreciated. One of my favorite things is the outdoor private bath. After long walks around the city, soaking in a warm bath is the best way to relax. The water temperature is around 41.9°C, which feels perfect during cold weather. The bath is open until 1am, so you can enjoy it even after a late day out. I already miss it 🙌🏻 This trip was for my Lady Gaga concert, so I flew to Tokyo just for that. On Day 1, I arrived around 9:30am. The lobby is on the 36th floor, and the guest rooms are between 33rd to 35th floor, with nice views. Check-in is at 3pm, but the hotel allows luggage storage, so I left my bags and went out for breakfast and a slow walk. Near the hotel, there’s a small park and a Blue Bottle Coffee, where you can relax and enjoy the sea view — very chill and not crowded. 🚇Transportation is also very convenient. From the lobby, you can take the lift directly to B1, which connects to the train station and LaLaport. It’s super easy for shopping, dining, and getting around Tokyo. 🚬Tip for smokers: there is a smoking area next to the lobby restroom, and some floors also have smoking rooms. 🚍Tip for transportation : There is a direct airport bus service between Narita Airport and the hotel. From Narita Airport, I believe the service starts around 12pm, though I recommend confirming the latest schedule in advance. For the return trip from the hotel to Narita Airport, tickets can be purchased online. The hotel staff are very friendly, professional, and helpful — they will gladly assist with checking schedules and booking tickets if needed. Overall, this hotel is perfect if you want comfort, convenience, and a calm place to rest after a busy Tokyo day. Highly recommended.

SShiina_hFacilities: Very luxurious, with all the necessary amenities like an ice machine and laundry room. The items in the hotel room were relatively new, and the room itself was quite spacious for Tokyo standards. A special shout-out to the standby video background music on the hotel TV – it was truly lovely. Hygiene: Very clean, standard five-star hotel management. Environment: Located near Tokyo Bay, a bit far from the city center but very close to Disney, so there are pros and cons. It's very quiet at night with hardly any traffic, though the commute time is a bit long (about 50 minutes to Shinjuku). Service: Also standard five-star hotel service. (A quick tip here: if you're going out during the day and need hotel staff to replenish room consumables, you'll need to flip the electronic switch by the door – I learned this the hard way!)

TTim NazarovHotel has a convenient location with Otemachi station entrance in same exact building around the corner. A few 24h conbini’s are located around. We had a room facing the park with a stunning view at the sunset and Mt.Fuji. The room itself is clean and spacious, everything needed was inside, staff changed towels daily. Smoking room is around reception and is really comfy as there are 2 vending machines. The only downside - pool operating ours are ending early, which is a bit strange as walking around Tokyo usually does not end around 6-7 pm. and would be great to stretch you legs after a long walk swimming in a pool before going to sleep

AAnonymous UserFirstly, one star for its hotel location. Located strategically right beside the dome (good for concert goers) and nearby 2 different metro stations to go anywhere. Secondly, another star for its hotel environment. Clean and huge. Hotel room and its toilet considered spacious if you compare to most other hotels. They do housekeeping daily. Bed is comfortable but their pillows are terrible, we did not sleep really well for 3d2n (even after we requested for extra pillows) until we bought our cushion from disney to use. Lastly, we had a terrible experience with their hotel staff. A local 5 stars hotel with no one that can hold a basic conversation in English. On check-in, reception was unfriendly. None of the staff greeted us and no one briefed us on hotel facilities. Most of them just rely on translator to interact and not all the time translator is accurate. We were given misleading information from Day 1 until we checked out. As we were worried, we went to the concierge for 2 nights just to confirm our concerns but unfortunately, due to their lack of basic English, we were unable to get accurate information. This resulted us wasting 3-4hours at the hotel on our last day just to get our issue resolved. They even requested us to bear the charges for the decision the hotel made by themselves. But they waived it off when we made firm stance that we are not going to pay for it. TBH, i will not visit this hotel again despite its spacious and convenient location. I would rather pay more for international hotels or stay at a smaller hotel with better services.

HHaidanbanfanThe room is very spacious, but the space isn't utilized very efficiently. The entrance hallway area is pretty much unused, and there's only a small table inside which isn't enough for personal items. The balcony is huge and offers great air; on a clear day, you can even see Mount Fuji. It's very close to the subway, so getting to Ginza, Shinjuku, or Shibuya usually takes less than 30 minutes.

AAnonymous UserLocated on the west side of Ikebukuro, not far from the subway station, it's really convenient. Ikebukuro itself is great for getting anywhere by subway, and the airport limousine bus stops right in front of the hotel. There's a mall directly opposite, so shopping and dining are super easy, and there are tons of convenience stores nearby. You step out and there's all sorts of food available. The rooms are quite spacious by Japanese standards, which is a plus. Of course, you can't compare it to a five-star hotel, but for the price, location, and the services offered, it's excellent. I've stayed here several times now; it's my go-to whenever I visit Tokyo!

Sshadow_zhuI chose La Vista next to Tokyo Bay, having previously stayed at their Hakodate location and been thoroughly impressed by their breakfast. After comparing hotels within central Tokyo, I decided this was the place. The breakfast didn't disappoint, and the service and facilities were also great. Oh, and they offer free ramen from 10 PM! While it's a bit far out – about a 30-minute bus ride to Ginza and at least an hour to other areas by subway – there's a subway station right outside the door, so it's fine if you're not in a hurry. The room size was standard, and there's a hot spring on the top floor where you can see both the Tokyo Skytree and Tokyo Tower. Soaking in the onsen while watching the sunset was amazing.

GGuest User9th floor room 9969 was nasty! Farthest from the elevator by the stairs. It had been abused for years. I had to get extra towels to drape on the couch cause had some funky stains. I don’t think they had been cleaned in a while. I don’t blame the staff cause it should be professionally cleaned with the carpet. I laid towels on the floor to change my socks… wind noise was coming the the window seals.
