Hotels in Panda base/Theatre General Hospital, Chengdu

Everything was good except for the air-conditioning, which was already maxed out but the room was still very warm :( They did offer to switch us to another room, but that room smelled heavily of smoke so we opted not to change.

I stayed at Yinshu Hotel (Panda Base Branch) during my trip to Chengdu. I have to praise it! The environment is a little surprise. The surroundings are quiet. The hotel has good greenery, like a small garden. The rooms have plenty of light and good ventilation. The facilities are smart and practical. The smart mattress can be adjusted according to needs. It is perfect for relaxing after visiting the Panda Base. The hygiene is impeccable, every corner is clean, and the bathroom water is also very good. The service is also online. If you have any questions, go to the front desk, and they will respond and solve them in seconds. When you check out, they will also remind you of the small items you left behind, which is heartwarming!

Wanting to visit the panda research centre early in the morning this hotel was our first choice in terms of location and we were not letdown. It is ideally located at the Metro station and both, the city as well as the research centre by Bus 409 can be reached very easy. The staff are super friendly and the room is fantastic. Would do it again! 

We stayed for two nights, and the room was exactly like the pictures. The kids absolutely loved it, especially the welcome gift waiting inside. They didn't even want to leave the room! The amenities were comprehensive, including a fridge and a washing machine, and they even thoughtfully provided charging cables, which was a very nice touch. The concierge was also super responsive, answering all our questions. For out-of-town visitors like us, this was incredibly helpful. Plus, it's really close to the Panda Base, just a short walk away. We could come back and rest after playing, and there's a subway station nearby too, making transportation very convenient. Highly, highly recommend!

Pros: Very good service and friendly staff, especially if you speak Chinese. The place is relatively close to the picture, with moderate wear and tear. Comfortable bed and toilet, clean bathroom I really liked the disposable towel as I don't have to worry about the cleaners of the towels. The view was clear without obstacles from our room. Cons: Things thats on the TV console should be on the shelf, especially hot water boiler as kids could easily touch it and getting burned. The room is clean, but it's in a dated and old, rather depressing apartments compounds. No dryer, washing machine was difficult to use as there was No WAY I would get onto the filthy balcony to access the washing machine. No microwave, you have to ask the service ppl to microwave for you. (They are happy to do that) This was rather important, as the heater was only in the bedroom, we couldn't close the bedroom during the night as the kids sleeping in the living room would get too cold.also there was a raft from the kids window. We stayed during the moderately warm autumn, but this would worry me during the winter. (Only stayed in the red panda room)

The room was very clean, and the service attitude of the lady at the front desk was also very nice. The location of the hotel was very convenient for me. I mainly wanted to see Huahua, so I chose one that was closer to the panda base, about seven kilometers away, and There are two squares and supermarkets downstairs and opposite the hotel, which are very convenient for eating and drinking. In the evening, go to the Jinxiu Square opposite and there are some food stalls you can try.

The room facilities are very new, clean, intelligent, comfortable and warm. The breakfast is rich in variety. The service is super super good. I almost missed the bus, and they helped me carry my luggage all the way. Thank you (I came back late and left early this night, so I didn’t have time to take pictures. I put a pandat to express my satisfaction)

The room was clean. Parking was convenient. I looked around for a long time and finally chose this one. The front desk lady was very friendly and helpful. I asked for a bag, and she gave me two. The quality was pretty good. I also asked for a pair of disposable slippers, and she gave me an extra pair. She even gave me an extra breakfast coupon. It was a good choice.

I contacted them before I stayed there. The staff was very friendly and asked us how we were going to get there. They told me on the phone that some people might not be used to this room type, so I wanted to see the room first. The staff was very polite and took us to see it. This room type is just what I wanted. It's very comfortable for watching movies. The price is very worthwhile. The consumables used are still very high-end, unlike some hotels that use very poor quality ones. It's convenient to go to the panda base. I will choose this hotel next time! Go!

This B&B is situated within a local residential community. The interior is quite pleasant, clean, cozy, and comfortable. They provided disposable towels, which was a thoughtful touch and gave us peace of mind. The only minor drawback inside was that the bathroom isn't designed with a wet/dry separation, which isn't a major issue, just something we weren't entirely used to. The biggest advantage is its genuine proximity to the Panda Base, just a 10-minute walk away. Alternatively, you can hop on a tricycle right outside the door and be there in no time. This makes it a perfect choice for anyone planning an early visit to the Panda Base to get ahead of the crowds. Furthermore, there are direct shuttle buses to various popular attractions available right outside the Panda Base entrance, making overall transportation incredibly convenient.
