4.5/5
Excellent
LLombardoThe check in process was painless, and I even arrived early. No issues. The room itself was nice and clean. I enjoyed the kitchen and it was well-stocked (silverware, plates, paper towels, etc.). The fridge was a bit small, but worked for a short stay. The bed was somewhat comfortable, pillows too soft for my liking. I did not try the breakfast, as I am dieting, but it smelled good in the lobby area, and it was very popular. I did not try out the gym, but it looked serviceable. The pool is currently closed for renovation.

GGuest UserStayed 2 nights. Hotel staff is very friendly. Building is CLEAN. Rooms are clean, bedding is clean as well. The furniture is in good standards. Quiet place, near many malls and about 30 minutes from NYC. Would definitely stay again when in the area. Free parking.

GGuest UserThe biggest problem is that the independent heater cannot be turned off, which makes it extremely noisy at night. I didn't sleep well all night and was very tortured. Another problem is that the outbound transportation is not very convenient. You need to find the boarding point at the Port authority bus terminal and learn how to use the automatic ticket vending machine or app to buy long-distance bus tickets (but the number of trains is quite dense), or It cost over $50 to take a taxi. If you don't mind these two points, there is nothing wrong with this hotel.

HHyunjungIt was difficult to check in after arriving at the hotel. The manager finally confirmed it, saying that he couldn't find it when I inquired with the confirmation number and my name I reserved. A hotel employee said, ”This happens a lot,” and asked me to make another hotel reservation site in the future. However, when I reached the hotel, they charged me again at the hotel on my card. After asking the people at the front desk, they said that the charge on my card was pending and would disappear overtime. Even so, today I realized that the money was deducted from my card. It is said that the amount approved by the hotel will be refunded in five days, but I am angry because this is the first time.

I was looking for a clean, safe place to stay during a recent trip to the area as a solo female traveler - what I found was anything but that. Check-in took forever (more than 30 mins). When I finally got to my room there was hair in the bathroom. Ew. It was late so I wiped it up and moved on. There was also still garbage in the can. When I pulled back the covers to the bed there was HAIR IN THE BED. It was midnight but I wasn't going to sleep in a dirty bed. I called downstairs and told that someone would come with clean sheets. 60 mins later I called again when no one had come - it was now 1 am. I was told ”they will get there when they get there” and the person hung up. Finally the manager on duty showed up with a sheet that had holes in it. I had to wait another 30 mins for her to return with a clean set of sheets. By now it's about 2 am. She then lays into me how this is not her job and she is the manager on duty and that I should be thankful she came at all. ??? I'm sorry what? She launches into a tirade in my room at 2 am. I asked her to leave a few times citing the late hour and she would not. My husband heard the entire exchange as I had him on the phone. I asked for the manager to call me the next day - no one ever called. I called every day I was there and no one ever got back to me. During my stay I observed: urine in the elevator, garbage in the hallways, questionable guests of guests coming and going at all hours down the hallways, questionable things going on in the parking lot at all hours and a lot of noise. The room itself was filthy beyond the hair in the bed and bathroom. I checked in at night in daylight there was a thick coat of dust on various surface and a used bandaid on the desk chair (ugh). These were things in plain sight. Management contacted me after my stay only when I complained to Marriott. They refuse to take responsibility for their employee's behavior or the concerns I relayed re: cleanliness.

GGuest UserThe staff admits that this place needs a facelift for sure but Hilton doesn't have the time to close floors to do it. hmmm..... on the 3rd floor water pouring in from the ceiling so we were walking around buckets to get to our room. The pool is never open when we are here and not taken care of. overall dirty rooms dingy and need attention big time. I get that it needs remodeling (more than that) but then the prices should reflect it not more, less money. The staff is overall friendly, as we go there alot. The main issue for us is that Hilton has changed their pet policy which is a deal breaker for us. We are Hilton honors diamond members and have given our business to Hilton for years but this policy will make us change. They are taking carpets our of rooms because of pets relieving themselves and apparently anything goes, frankly we like pets. just do not want to sleep in a bed where dogs, cats and the like have ”stayed” People have pet allergies you know and it is not sanitary either. It is a pet first society, forget the humans that actually pay for things. When we were there we had to change rooms which was difficult because there were 2 German shepherd type breeds directly across the hall that kept up barking and carrying on. Again, we have nothing against dogs or cats etc., however when it is taking away from the pleasure and rest of paying patrons it is a big issue. Maybe a compromise Hilton and have a ”pet floor”. the staff tries to help as best they can.

MmoonrainToo noisy, under the highway overpass, it's very noisy all day long. Not recommended. The road behind is impossible to go up. It looks like you can go through the back on Google Maps, but in fact there is a big drop. After staying for 5 days, I decisively changed hotels.

GGuest UserPerfect place to stay if you want to visit NY. The room was clean, the bed was confortable and the AC worked well. Since it was 100 degrees, the Ac was a must. The coffee maker in our room didn’t work but coffee was complementary at the lobby in the morning. Breakfast was 10$ per person. The bus stop is literally in the hotel parking lot which is even more awesome! It will cost 4.50$ per person( exact cash) and the bus will take you to Port Authority.(Times Square). The only thing is that the first bus in the morning is at 9:30 on weekdays. So if you want to be in town early, it might not be the best place to stay. For us it was okay. We didn’t mind since we were back at the hotel around midnight. Even better, the bus driver will drop you off at the same bus stop ( hotel parking lot)late at night when you come back from town. Since the hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood with offices it is safe to get back to the hotel late at night. Make sure you ask the front desk clerk to print you out a bus schedule for all the details. You also need to know that the bus is the 167Q. Not the 167T. And when you buy your ticket at the terminal to come back at the hotel, select zone 3. And don’t be late. The buses at the terminal are on time and will not wait and extra minute at the door. We were there for 3 nights and took the bus at door 326. The ride is about 20 minutes to get to the hotel. For us, it was the perfect place to stay because we didn’t want to use our car. One thing we should have done though is to buy the 7day metro card for 34$.( we took single rides) This is definitely the best and cheapest way to get around the city so do not hesitate to buy this card. Si je retourne à NY, c’est certain que je retourne à cet hôtel parce que c’est propre, pas cher et parfait pour aller visiter NY en toute sécurité.

Zzohair2005The first time we visited the USA and after Orlando and Washington we stayed in this hotel new jersey near George Washington bridge for 5 nights . .I wanna mention good things first and that is the front desk officers .very cooperative and respectful with their guests .one of the Chinese officer helps me in luggage shifting .that's so nice of him .I don't know his name .thank you.other there lobby is good . .but so many things they should give importance.first the lightning in the room is worst .it's dark for us .few lamps just No proper lights. secondly no pool no spa no activities for kids no proper area for any sort of activities .only gym .so that's ridiculous.the worst thing is the breakfast.we eat halal food .no customise egg no live cooking .we take cereals only .that tall waiter is so rude and disrespectful I could nt visit that area again .I did complain but they say sorry only.he neither gives or asks me for tea .neither display it or early close might be .but you should respect your guest whether he is Muslim or not .shame to him .he should be kicked off from this hotel and get some manners classes .so never wanna go again and never recommend to live there .
