Excellent
XXiaoliyidaoThe room is big, there is a creek next to the hotel, you can walk along the river. There is free breakfast and parking lot, and it is relatively close to the highway and costco, so it is convenient to travel.
Have been going to this Comfort Inn for the last 27 yrs, only hotel close to family in Grain Valley, other than a Courtyard in Blue Springs. Use to be reasonably priced for a place just to sleep. Always marginal though! Has doubled in price since Dec 2022, no pool, no fitness ctr, filthy chair in room to name a few. The next closest hotel is a Courtyard whish is usually about $50 more than Comfort Inn. Comfort Inn was $170, I usually stay 2 to 3 nights, at this price I only stayed 1 night. Courtyard was $135, but it was full. I will stay in a Blue Springs hotel before I ever stay at this Comfort Inn again. Has never been the cleanest, even after their remodel. I would not recommend this hotel!
JJudith AWe were coming in to the Blue Springs, MO area to clear out two storage units after the recent passing of our Mom aka Amazing Grace! A mutual friend of our wanted to have things arranged for us to make our trek from Delaware as easy as she possibly could. So, she had a kind gentleman, named Scott and he was so kind to arrange for me, my brother and our fur baby a wonder, clean and relaxing room for three days. Everyone was so kind and helpful and the room was excellent. Thank you Scott and thank you to the staff that treated is so well. I will definitely stay here again. Again, thank you and blessings to the staff, Scott, our friend and the continued success of this Holiday Inn Express location. Judy A.
I arrived at the hotel exhausted, I got to my room and laid down and went to sleep. When i pulled the covers back, I saw something on the bed. I called the front desk and asked for someone to pit clean sheets on the bed and was told that there was no one available to do that, housekeeping had gone home, but they would give me sheets so I could do it myself. I went downstairs and Mike brought the sheets up to my room. I went to my conference and when I returned, there was no place to park. I mean none. I went inside and asked where I was supposed to park. Mike looked over the parking lot and the were no spots open. I asked if he could move the parking cones blocking 4 parking spaces. He moved one set, so I could park there. I went to my room, made my bed with the fresh sheets and went to bed. Refrigerator was noisy. At this point I was exhausted. I got up the next morning, there were no plates to use, ask they had was small plates, a little bigger than a saucer. The food was almost gone, it was 8 am. The bed was super comfy or I was super tired. The hotel staff were all nice, but this is more for a long term stay and not a stay for business, couples or solo. I checked my credit card statement and the pending charge is higher than it should be, I'm hoping this gets resolved without me having to dispute the charge. I would recommend staying elsewhere.
GGuest UserWe parked at a decent spot. Justin at the front desk was friendly and accommodating. When I told him we did not have any hair dryer in the room he instantly grabbed one from a vacant room after the night auditor named Andrew told him they had nothing in their back office. We were doing our laundry on site and there were clothes in both dryers and they had 2 of those. The guests that owned those probably fell asleep or something. Andrew said it was alright to take it out of there if its been sitting there for hours to dry our own clothes since we had to rest after a really long drive. The elevator felt like a drop tower & we got so paranoid with how it was so we took the stairs instead. The room was fine. The bathroom was a little interesting. They had a larger vanity with a sink and a small sink with a divider next to it. And the toilet seat was not stable when we used it and the door was so close to the tub that we had to swing it back and forth just to be able to use the shower. Other than that, the room was clean, the beds were extremely comfortable & the pillows too!!
GGuest User excellent place to stay, rooms clean and fresh, service great, easy access and very friendly staff. Breakfast was much better than other places stayed.
TToniCheck-in was great, room appeared clean upon arrival but when you take off your shoes it was bad. House keeping comes very early in the morning and leave at lunch so those of us who work late at night don't get the luxury of a made bed, fresh sheets or, clean towels. Breakfast had 2 options but it is based on first come first serve. All in all..... Not satisfied at all
