Their service is incredible and the hotel is very clean. Staff were friendly and really helpful, thanks to them for offering a suitable solution for my sick friend who needed more rest. We didn’t get the time to walk around the hotel, so the pictures I took were mainly the surrounding area which was beautiful. (Didn’t expect to see so many 蓝花 still at the end of May) As for the room, it was big and spacious. First picture is view, last picture was when we were stargazing. The only things to note is that there isn’t really a place for clothes in the shower area, only a small place to hold shower bottles. Another would be the need to plug the insect repellent to the switch upon entering the room. We were oblivious at first so there were many mosquitoes in the common area, and thankfully none in the other room. Finally a tip, you can ask them to transport you to 理想邦 and there is also a discount. Overall, we had a lovely stay thanks to the hotel’s hospitality☺️

The experience at Dali Songyun Banshan Hotel completely surpassed what I anticipated, and I especially want to commend our dedicated butler, Kevin. His service was professional, thoughtful, and truly top-notch! Even before we arrived, Kevin proactively contacted us to confirm our itinerary, discuss our needs, and even thoughtfully advised us on the weather and what to wear. Upon arrival, he was already waiting for us at the entrance, enthusiastically helped with our luggage, and swiftly handled the check-in process. He then meticulously explained the hotel facilities and how to use the smart devices in the room. He also thoughtfully recommended his favorite local eateries and lesser-known scenic spots, and the sightseeing route he planned for us was incredibly practical. During our stay, Kevin was incredibly responsive, practically replying to messages instantly and being available whenever we needed him. When I mentioned wanting breakfast on the room's balcony, he made sure the table was set up beforehand. When I casually expressed an interest in local experiences, he helped book a cycling trip around Erhai Lake and a tie-dye workshop, arranging everything perfectly. Upon departure, Kevin pre-arranged our transport, helped with our luggage, and escorted us all the way to the entrance – so warm and considerate. The hotel itself has an exceptional environment with panoramic views of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake, and the facilities are of high quality. However, Kevin's service truly made this trip extra heartwarming and unforgettable. I highly recommend Songyun Banshan, and you can't go wrong asking for Butler Kevin. I will definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Dali!

Our 'butler service' means you get a dedicated butler providing one-on-one service from the moment you check in. They'll contact you in advance to confirm your arrival time, arrange shuttle pick-up, and send friendly reminders about breakfast times and other important notes via group chat. Facilities: The hairdryer's airflow is really weak, not even as strong as the wind off Erhai Lake! The bedside lamp isn't working, but everything else is okay. Cleanliness: Clean, tidy, and no strange smells – pretty good. Environment: The space is large and bright. My only complaint is the view from the window isn't great. Service: The service is excellent; anything we needed was delivered to the room very quickly, and the breakfast tasted good. Honestly, the view from the guest room window is quite disappointing.

This hotel is nestled in a hillside villa, offering great room views and a quiet, comfortable environment. They also provide a pick-up service, and upon check-in, we were treated to an afternoon tea. 😊 All the snacks, drinks, and red wine in the room were complimentary. Breakfast was very substantial too. The two housekeepers were super friendly and efficient, always ready to help with anything we needed. It was a fantastic experience!

I was really happy with the room's decor. The view outside was great; even though I didn't get a full sea view room, the partial sea view was still lovely. If I get to stay here again, I'll definitely choose a full sea view room. The front desk staff (the 'little brother' as we say in Chinese for a young male staff member) were super friendly and attentive. All in all, I was quite satisfied. They offered some complimentary travel photos, which I thought turned out pretty well, so I ended up buying a few more. It was a very happy and memorable vacation! 😁😁

A truly perfect trip! Here, I enjoyed sunny weather, stunning Erhai Lake views, and a fantastic large balcony. The room layout, including the full-length mirror, was exceptionally beautiful. What sets this hotel apart from others in Ideal State is its deep commitment to the Santorini, Greece-style design. While some other places might only have an exterior that fits the theme, with very ordinary interiors, this hotel extends that Greek Santorini vibe to both its facade and inside the rooms. You can even watch the sunset from bed! And the next morning, with a bit of luck, I captured some amazing 'blue hour' photos. The butler and hotel service were incredibly attentive; basically, anything I needed, the butler would take care of. The afternoon tea, with ginger-syrup drizzled waffles and other delicious treats, was also perfectly to my liking. Actually, I fell in love with this room when I first saw the hotel six months ago (yes, I even preferred it over others with pools!). So, I saved up and finally came today, half a year later. What can I say? I feel incredibly lucky. The weather forecast had predicted cloudy and rainy days for Dali, but the moment I arrived, it cleared up and stayed sunny until I checked out. Plus, it wasn't too crowded when I visited (it might be peak season later on). In short, I highly recommend it! If you're planning a trip to Ideal State, definitely come to this hotel and stay in this room!

I was amazed the first moment I checked into the sea view room - it seemed like a flowing landscape painting was hanging outside the panoramic floor-to-ceiling window, Cangshan Mountain was shrouded in mist, and Erhai Lake was sparkling. Every day when I opened my eyes, I could see the healing blue, and at night I could fall asleep to the sound of the waves 🌙 ▪️ **The room is full of details**: The 180° viewing bathtub faces Erhai Lake directly, and you feel like you own the entire lake when taking a bath! The bedding is as soft as clouds and any photo taken will look like an Instagram-style blockbuster. ▪️ **The service is comparable to five-star**: The lady at the front desk took the initiative to help with the luggage. When she learned that we were catching an early bus, she specially prepared a portable breakfast in advance. This kind of detail-oriented service really warms my heart💐 ▪️ **Excellent location**: 5 minutes walk to the Erhai Lake Ecological Corridor, where you can rent a bicycle and start cycling around the sea! The hotel has its own viewing restaurant. The cross-bridge rice noodles for breakfast are so delicious that they make your eyebrows drop. In the evening, you can watch the pink and purple sunset covering the sky from the terrace. The romance value is immediately maxed out! Next time I come to Dali, I will definitely go there! If I have to find a flaw...it's probably that it's so beautiful that you don't want to go out 😭 Sisters, listen to me, choose a room with a sea view! You will come back to thank me! !

After so many days in Yunnan, this B&B was by far the best place I've stayed. The environment is lovely; I could see the ocean right from my window. There's an outdoor balcony with a rocking chair, and the curtains are smart-controlled. Inside, there's a bathtub, a fridge, and a dressing table, which was convenient for doing my makeup. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area and a smart toilet. Most importantly, the service was exceptional. Whenever I called the front desk, I received an immediate response. They even gave me a small gift even though I only stayed one night. It was a fantastic experience, and if I ever come back to Dali, I'd definitely choose this place again! 🥰🫶🏻

The owner was incredibly welcoming, providing a detailed rundown of local attractions and even a guide to nearby dining spots upon my arrival. They have excellent taste; the small garden in front of the guesthouse is beautifully maintained! What really impressed me was how each room perfectly matched its advertised layout, view, and facilities – every room is unique and fantastic, showing real dedication. My room was spacious with a distinctive layout and fully equipped. The double sinks were incredibly convenient, and the direct ocean view was absolutely stunning. Sitting on the small balcony, feeling the breeze, admiring the scenery, and chatting was pure bliss! The breakfast was also very generous. I truly hope this lovely guesthouse continues to thrive!

Overall, this place is pretty good. The rooftop viewing platform really lives up to the hype – it's stunning and perfect for photos! The service is also great. For breakfast, you choose the night before, and it includes either a Chinese or Western set platter (it's for two people, you have to pick one), two main dishes (like rice noodles or 'er si'), and two drinks. It's conveniently located right by the road, but because of that, it can get quite noisy at night with passing cars. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to reconsider. But if you're willing to overlook that for some amazing photo ops – like me – then it's totally worth it!
