"Our experience at Lime Resorts was superb! Just staying at the Sky Lounge, taking a dip at the infinity pool, enjoying the unli popcorn and ice cream or ordering delicious foods and drinks at their resto, while watching the majestic sunset is already an excellent experience. The sunset view is breathtaking! The staffs are also nice and accommodating. Upgrading our room for a bigger one for free is highly appreciated. "This hotel is really, really great, I loved it! Even though I stayed in a shared four-person room, it didn't bother me at all because almost every day (from morning till evening) we were out on excursions or somewhere else. The staff are friendly and caring, rooms are cleaned daily, and the showers and toilets are communal (but there are also a few separate stalls just for women). The breakfasts are delicious and varied – I would fly back to the Philippines again just for these breakfasts! Because here, I only had truly good food three times: first in Cebu, second at the hotel's breakfast, and third at an Italian restaurant in El Nido, that's it! In the shared room, you get a towel, a locker with a lock, and a large bed (unlike other similar hotels). I'm thrilled!"

"Finally, a good night's sleep in El Nido!
The biggest worry about staying in the town center is the bass from bars and the noise of motorbikes at dawn. I chose J Boutique because it’s located on the outskirts of the main town—it's much quieter, and there’s a huge massage parlor right next door! The room isn't big, but the refreshing color palette is very relaxing. My only minor gripe is that you can still hear people talking in the hallway, but compared to the chaos of the main street, this place is heaven. The bedding was dry and fresh, which is a huge plus for me since I hate that damp island smell."

The staff at Z Garden were listening. When we arrived Lena’s foot was bothering her. They asked what was going on, then recommended a few spots that would suit her better and suggested which activities to avoid. That one response changed the mood of the whole day. And the hotel being so close to the water meant retirement travel didn’t cost us unnecessary energy getting anywhere.

"The rooms were large, clean, and spacious. We only ate at the hotel occasionally, and unfortunately, the restaurant service was quite poor. We were either completely ignored, or our food and drinks took ages to arrive, sometimes only after multiple reminders. Because of this, we chose to visit the surrounding bars and restaurants instead. On the other hand, the lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful.
Nacpan Beach is beautiful – we walked to the end twice, which I highly recommend. El Nido is about 40 minutes from the hotel, which we knew beforehand. There's a swamp behind the hotel, so there were a lot of mosquitoes and sandflies. We got pretty bitten up! Overall, we would still recommend this hotel."

"Even with a late check-in, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious. The room was very clean, and having a terrace was great for drying swimsuits after a dip. The direct access from the pool to the sea was incredibly convenient and enjoyable. The bed was plush, and the pillows were super comfortable. The pool is stunning! The location is also fantastic, being close to shopping areas, restaurants, and tour operators. And a big bonus: at night, you can see countless stars from the beach in front of the pool area – it's like they're pouring down! Everything was perfect, with only one minor drawback: there was only one mirror, located in the bathroom, which was a bit inconvenient. If there had been just one more mirror, it would have been absolutely flawless."

"We tagged our room ”melting room” since the walls and even the door was sweating because of seeming defective AC system. Molds were visible at some corners and nooks. They conduct regular housekeeping even without our request. We stayed there for 3 overnights. They provided extra towels when they cleaned our room. But the sand from our every day trip to the beach couldn't be all swept away."

GGuest UserCute bungalows on a remote island. However, we had to wait for 1:40hr for our lunch, and the buffet which cost almost a 1000 pesos ran out of food and had very limited vegetarian options. Most of the ”community” vibe was greatly diminished due to about 20 people from a tour group that already knew each other showed up, which created a very segregated feeling. We also had some form of animal poop all over our bed, which the staff just tried to explain away as dirt from the roof. We had to convince them to give us a new room. Plus points for them helping out and arranging a transfer for the clothes we forgot on the island!

TThat girl abroadI was honestly a bit disappointed with this resort. When you see the word “resort” and pay resort prices, you expect a certain standard. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to that.
The bed only had a thin sheet with no proper bedding, there was no water provided in the room, and parts of the property felt quite run down with visible rust. The bathroom, especially the shower area, could really use a deep clean. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. There were four different WiFi networks, but none of them worked properly and the connection was very slow. The staff did warn me about this in advance.
That being said, the staff were absolutely amazing. Reception went above and beyond by helping with my large bags, doing my laundry, organizing tours and transport, and assisting with everything I needed. Truly a chef’s kiss to the team. They were the highlight of my stay.
With some upgrades and better maintenance, this place could match the price they’re charging. Right now, it’s the staff that make the experience worthwhile.

GGuest UserThis place was absolute paradise. The beach is stunning with beautiful sunsets just around the corner. There are loads of beach bars and restaurants around and the beach is clean with clear waters. Many tourists travel here for the day and stay elsewhere so this place was perfect for those evenings in a bar or on the porch and looking at the sea. This place is right on the sea and listening to the waves while falling asleep was relaxing. The amenities were excellent and a lovely warm shower to wash away the sand. The only issue with this place was the service and lack of cleaning/ restocking. Sand is an inevitability and we lacked the necessary tools to clean the room so it got quite sandy after a couple of days and the cups from the welcome drinks were there for three days. We don’t require or expect daily cleaning but we stayed 5 nights and the room was made up once (not including bedding and towels). That being said, this place is amazing. There are few better locations and the calmness made for a perfect little break for us. Will definitely stay here again! Also a little bonus for dog lovers- there is a gorgeous little beach dog that chills on the porch and gets excited every time you come and go! He was super friendly, loving us and loved by all the guests!

The staff was helpful and room was good. I was able to book massage, tour and motor bike from the reception staff. Breakfast did let me down but still not bad. Bus terminal is next to it and the el nido public market.
Vanila beach, lio beach and nacpan beach is not far. Especially old town is around 10 minutes of walking distance from the hotel for the night life and for good restaurants.
Overall i would definitely recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserI'm not picky and we travel a lot, so I have plenty to compare with. But here, I was shocked by the sheer number of negatives all in one hotel. We stayed in two different room categories (including a suite).
For its price range, this hotel was a huge disappointment (this is our third hotel on Palawan, all located near beaches, and the prices were more or less the same). Inside, even on the bed, there were tiny ants crawling around. Breakfast isn't included, and the rooms aren't cleaned. Once, throughout our entire vacation, I asked them to clean the room and change the bedding. They came by evening, but they just took the towels and didn't replace them, saying everything was being washed 🙃. After showering, I had to dry myself with a dirty t-shirt because nothing in the room dries properly. The Wi-Fi constantly cut out, and for the last few days, it didn't work at all. Overall, it was a complete misunderstanding; the only saving grace was the ocean view from the room!
There was mold on the walls, I even saw spots on the mattress. The extractor fan in the shower didn't work at all, the toilet seat was loose, and there was hardly any water pressure in the sink and shower, just a tiny trickle (I assume for economy — even in the suite) – I've attached photos (notice how the faucet is installed). On the last day, the air conditioning even started leaking.
There's no safe, and the door lock sometimes fell out with the key, and I had to reinsert it into the hole.
If you want a somewhat comfortable stay, only book the suite; the price difference isn't that much.
The TV is in the photos, but it's not actually there, though we didn't need it anyway.

Room: I used it for three people, but it was big enough. It was really nice to have breakfast on the outside terrace.
Meals: The restaurant at the hotel was really good and we used it for everything except breakfast.
The atmosphere of the whole hotel was so good and calm. I will definitely use it again when coming to El Nido!

GGuest UserThis is a bit of a special place. The hotel is right at its own private beach. It‘s very isolated from everything else which can be nice if you don‘t want to leave the hotel at all. We wanted to go to the town some evenings and that is a bit of a challenge. You first have to take a golf car (which only runs until 10pm) and then change into a tricycle. The tricycles won‘t go directly to the hotel because the last bit of the road is too steep and winded. The other option is to walk along the beach for 20 minutes instead of using the golf car for the last bit, which we did a couple of times. It‘s not too dangerous but there are stray dogs.
The food in the hotel restaurant was Italian and just ok, nothing amazing. The service was not great. Two women seem to know how to run a hotel but the rest of the staff were rather useless. They often seemed annoyed, even when we were just ordering food. We once asked about the zipline that is literally next door and they didn‘t know anything about it (price, time, how to get there). They organised a tour for us, which was great, but messed up the booking somehow so the tour guide thought we were only two people instead of four, which resulted in less food for lunch. And then they even charged us more for the tour.
Our room was fine. Clean and no bugs. Yes, you can hear everything but we didn‘t mind that. The room was only made up on request though.
The whole area is beautiful but there were a few things that annoyed us. So I wouldn‘t come back.

GGuest UserStaff was amazing, friendly and caring! And this hotel felt more like a resort. All the amenities were wonderful. Loved the cat living in the lobby. He made our day! More shuttles to and from the beach and El Nido town are needed. We struggled getting our own transportation from the hotel.

AAlexey VerbitskyA nice location, but our room on the ground floor was dark and damp, we constantly caught a cold because of the air conditioner, there is no balcony, only access to the mini pool that resembled a mini paddock, it did not work for heating, there is no breakfast here, it's a pity that there was no room for us on the second floor, which affected the vacation in this place we were not satisfied because he is good in the photo but not very good in reality + all these disadvantages that no one wrote about.
Next time, I'll choose a much more comfortable place to vacation.

MMaksimI really enjoyed staying at Coco Garden! But you must understand that these are bamboo houses, essentially huts, inside of which there is a bed under a mosquito net. The houses are basically in the jungle, so geckos, ants, etc. can run in. But behind the mosquito net you won’t be afraid of them!
But unity with nature is 100%!
The house has a shower and toilet. Fan.
Every morning a simple and delicious breakfast. WiFi worked flawlessly. And the employee Lamy was so friendly that she smoothed out all the shortcomings!
It is best to immediately rent a scooter, because the nearest beach and the town of El Nido are a bit far away on foot. The stay turned out to be very authentic! I'm happy!
