"There were two adults and two kids in our group, and we were hauling two huge suitcases, a big backpack, and a stroller. The hotel offers a free airport shuttle, and being able to coordinate that with them right after booking gave us peace of mind. The moment we pulled up to the hotel, the staff ran out to help carry our bags upstairs before we even had to ask. Seeing that kind of efficiency and initiative in a beach destination is a huge plus. They have water dispensers on every floor, which is so convenient and eco-friendly for when the kids suddenly get thirsty. They also provide free coffee packets in the room, which is a total lifesaver for getting me through the first ten minutes every morning. The pier and restaurants are just a few steps away, so we saved so much time not having to drag the kids around on transport. The kids are already begging to go back to El Nido."

"Absolutely amazing stay in El Nido! The hotel has a breathtaking location with incredible views of both the beach and the surrounding mountains. Waking up every morning to such beautiful scenery was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. The atmosphere was peaceful, relaxing, and perfect for enjoying the beauty of Palawan. The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was also perfect, with a great selection of fresh and tasty options to start the day. Everything felt well organised and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting El Nido, especially if you want beautiful views, a relaxing atmosphere, and excellent hospitality. One of the best stays of my trip!"

"I traveled to El Nido completely by myself this time and was a little worried about feeling lonely before I got here. Luckily, the front desk at Z Garden was super friendly, and the spots they recommended were all amazing. They could also just book my island hopping tours directly for me, which was incredibly convenient. Whenever I came back from a day out, they would chat with me for a bit, and I think it is seriously impressive how they manage to remember so many guests' names! Plus, having the night guards around made me feel super safe."

"The hotel looks nice from the outside, but everything inside felt dirty and poorly maintained. Initially, we were put in a room overlooking vents and a noisy street, even though we had specifically requested a quiet room when booking. The hotel was accommodating and moved us to a different room. However, I have to say, the soundproofing is poor; you can hear everything happening outside very clearly. Especially the motorcycles going by and the rooster crowing in the mornings! The cleaning was terrible – everything was dusty and grimy. And they'll only clean your room if you remember to hang the 'make up room' sign on the door. Breakfast was a letdown; the selection was very limited. The cheese was awful and clearly the cheapest kind. There was no cold cuts or ham. Breakfasts here felt more like lunch or dinner. You're better off going to local cafes for breakfast. On the positive side, the location is good, and the pool area is beautiful with a fantastic view. This hotel might be suitable for a short stay, but definitely keep the aforementioned issues in mind."

"The overall facilities of the hotel are very fresh and modern, and the room AC temperature control is spot on, so you don't get those annoying hot and cold flashes. The shower water pressure in the bathroom is strong, which makes washing up feel amazing. There are a few really nice boutique clothing stores and handmade souvenir shops right around the hotel, so it is super easy to just walk downstairs and go shopping. I definitely recommend this to any quality traveler looking to balance downtown convenience with a high-end stay."

"This place is truly a little corner of paradise. It’s almost impossible to put into words how much we enjoyed our stay and how special this place is. The owners — an Englishman and a Filipina — are the perfect mix of warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail. They genuinely go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and are happy to accommodate almost any request, always in such a natural and unobtrusive way. The rooms are comfortable, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The air conditioning is quiet, the mattresses and pillows are incredibly comfortable, and everything you might need is provided — right down to shower gel and a toothbrush. The hotel is still relatively new and everything is in excellent condition. There are free SUP boards for guests, and you can also rent a scooter from the hotel if you feel like exploring El Nido for the day. And then there’s the food… that deserves a review of its own! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, and the cocktails were fantastic. You can order fresh seafood, or even buy it yourself and have the team prepare it for you. My husband loves grilling, so we arranged to get some meat and had our own little BBQ evening. One of the staff members was genuinely excited to help and learn how it’s done — such a small moment, but incredibly warm and touching. My husband also wanted to go fishing, and the local fishermen were happy to take him along. Unfortunately, we simply didn’t have enough time during our stay, but knowing that such experiences were so easily arranged made the place feel even more special. That’s the beauty of a small boutique hotel like this. Unlike huge resorts, they can actually respond to the individual wishes of their guests and make you feel personally cared for. At the same time, there is absolutely no pressure to socialize. Everything is beautifully balanced: if you want to chat, there’s always someone happy to talk to; if you want privacy, you’ll have complete peace and seclusion. It truly feels like your own little paradise. If we ever return to El Nido, we will absolutely stay here again. Thank you to the wonderful owners and the whole team for such a memorable stay. "You can clearly see the beautiful ocean right from your door and window. The place is very relaxing—perfect if you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful vibe. Highly recommended for a chill getaway. This stay is Right next to Las Cabañas Beach, which is very convenient and perfect for sunset views. Cons: A bit far from the town proper."

"Very friendly staff, committed to give the best service to their guests. We intentionally booked Nacpan as a location (instead of El Nido center) to have a more relaxed atmosphere. Totally happy to stay at Nacpan Beach Villa as one resort of equal review a step further north had blaring music the whole day. The facilities are clean and modern, the amenities good, the equipment easy to handle. The beach is clean(!), no garbage, no plastic(!) - please keep it that way. Really incomparably clean, meaning: even if you dig with your feet in the seabed, no junk comes up (Nusa Dua - best beach in Bali - did not pass this test)."

"Cute bungalows on a remote island. However, we had to wait for 1:40hr for our lunch, and the buffet which cost almost a 1000 pesos ran out of food and had very limited vegetarian options. Most of the ”community” vibe was greatly diminished due to about 20 people from a tour group that already knew each other showed up, which created a very segregated feeling. We also had some form of animal poop all over our bed, which the staff just tried to explain away as dirt from the roof. We had to convince them to give us a new room. Plus points for them helping out and arranging a transfer for the clothes we forgot on the island!"

"We stayed only one night, but have been warmly welcomed. Nice and clean hotel, although it was terrible weather (storm) there was no issue (flooding or leakage), the room was comfortable, with good size and arrangement. Breakfast can be taken with a very nice view on the beach (careful, it’s not the best beach of the area). Team welcomed us warmly, there are restaurants (TAAS worth it) all around which makes a good location overall (trip in tricycle to the town is always funny)."
