For breakfast, sharing one portion between two people is more than enough. You can add a smoothie or a coffee alongside it. After days of heavy food, an easy plant-based breakfast is exactly what you want in the morning. It felt like a reset.
The room is clean and comfortable. We spent time in the hanging chair, we didn’t want to get out of bed, the TV is big and the picture quality is good. We genuinely had to push ourselves to go outside.
Piece of Sky at night: good cocktails, the bay lit up below, live saxophone. I don’t know where else in El Nido you get all of that at once.

"This hotel is really, really great, I loved it! Even though I stayed in a shared four-person room, it didn't bother me at all because almost every day (from morning till evening) we were out on excursions or somewhere else. The staff are friendly and caring, rooms are cleaned daily, and the showers and toilets are communal (but there are also a few separate stalls just for women). The breakfasts are delicious and varied – I would fly back to the Philippines again just for these breakfasts! Because here, I only had truly good food three times: first in Cebu, second at the hotel's breakfast, and third at an Italian restaurant in El Nido, that's it! In the shared room, you get a towel, a locker with a lock, and a large bed (unlike other similar hotels). I'm thrilled!"

"I stayed at S Resort in El Nido (Palawan) and overall I was satisfied.
The room was moderately clean, with no issues regarding the basic level of hygiene. The bed sheets were changed, which is a nice touch and not always guaranteed in similar hotels. The air conditioner worked properly and consistently, which is very important in the hot climate.
The main advantage is the location. The hotel is in the center of El Nido, so everything is within walking distance — restaurants, shops, and tour departure points. Very convenient and easy to get around.
Overall, it’s a good option if you value location and basic comfort without high expectations. It works well for an active stay in El Nido."

The staff at Z Garden were listening. When we arrived Lena’s foot was bothering her. They asked what was going on, then recommended a few spots that would suit her better and suggested which activities to avoid. That one response changed the mood of the whole day. And the hotel being so close to the water meant retirement travel didn’t cost us unnecessary energy getting anywhere.

Our resort is nestled on a scenic hill overlooking Corong Corong Bay in mainland El Nido. Our resort is a BOUTIQUE HILLSIDE resort. We have sea views but we are NOT beachfront. While we’re not directly on the beachfront, we’re just a 5-minute walk to Corong Corong Beach and less than a 10-minute tricycle ride to El Nido town center. Lio Airport is a 20-minute drive away, and Puerto Princesa is about a 5-6 hour journey by vehicle.
Due to our hillside location, please note that the resort involves some uphill walking and stairs, making it not wheelchair-accessible and potentially challenging for guests with mobility concerns.

"Best in El Nido bar none. Views are to die for. Naturally villas are on side of a hill pretty high up. So no local tuk Tulsa can make it up there. So u want to call intercomm from entrance and they pick u up. And drive up. We stayed in 4s and it was awesome."

"Located just north of the main town and boat departure beach. Complimentary 24-hour tuktuk service, but walking only takes 15 minutes or so. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Room was nice and A/C worked well. Bed and pillows were a little firm, but reasonably comfortable. Included breakfast is good.
Resort is divided into 3 parts. Cadlao 1, 2, and 3. 1 is at the entrance, 2 is next, and 3 is the farthest away (but still only a few minutes walk). 3 is also the most secluded, which might make it a little quieter.

"Staff was amazing, friendly and caring! And this hotel felt more like a resort. All the amenities were wonderful. Loved the cat living in the lobby. He made our day! More shuttles to and from the beach and El Nido town are needed. We struggled getting our own transportation from the hotel."

"Cute bungalows on a remote island. However, we had to wait for 1:40hr for our lunch, and the buffet which cost almost a 1000 pesos ran out of food and had very limited vegetarian options. Most of the ”community” vibe was greatly diminished due to about 20 people from a tour group that already knew each other showed up, which created a very segregated feeling. We also had some form of animal poop all over our bed, which the staff just tried to explain away as dirt from the roof. We had to convince them to give us a new room. Plus points for them helping out and arranging a transfer for the clothes we forgot on the island!"

GGrace Hutchinson!”I’ve visited a few sea turtle conservation programmes before. Some are there to be photographed. Some are actually doing the work. This one is actually doing the work.
The staff know the current state of each nest and can estimate roughly when hatching will happen. During the release they don’t let visitors touch the turtles. At night they use red-light torches and ask guests not to use flashlights or camera flashes. That night, sixty-something hatchlings made their way toward the moonlight and into the sea. Two of them moved slower than the rest. That part stayed with me.
The tent sits right on that beach.
Shared bathrooms, a short walk away, not a problem in practice. The restaurant is just outside the glamping area, a little walk in the evening, but along the way one evening we saw someone propose on the beach with the sunset behind them. Quite something.”

AAlma CMy husband and I celebrated our second year anniversary at Cauayan. We considered other resorts but we have definitely made the right choice. The island is just breathtaking! We were greeted with a warm welcome by the hotel staff and were escorted to our beautiful villa. My husband arranged a private tour of El Nido islands, where we ended up visiting about 7 spots with our guide even acting as our photographer (he took fantastic photos and videos too). In terms of food, the buffet breakfast offered a wide array of food selection. For lunch / dinner, we enjoyed all that we ordered (though some are really very spicy, so take note). The bar staff can concoct amazing drinks as per your mood & whim. I particularly enjoyed the spa and wished I booked a much longer massage. Our stay at the island became so much more meaningful when we witnessed hawksbill sea turtles being released to the ocean….As amazing as all these are, the best part of our stay in Cauayan is the friendly and customer focused staff. They prioritize the customers’ needs, always have a smile on their faces and have just made our stay in El Nido a memorable one. Thank you Cauayan and we will surely return for another amazing experience at your island!

PPirotziI had a wonderful stay at RC Villas Resort! The villas were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, offering a perfect mix of luxury and comfort. The private pool was a fantastic addition, and the peaceful atmosphere made it easy to relax.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ensuring we had everything we needed. The location was convenient, close to local attractions and great restaurants.
I highly recommend RC Villas Resort for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

RRafael OttigerThe hotel is well located and quiet. The room offers enough space, about 25m2. A terrible ”view” from the window onto a wall of the washroom/staff room is just awful.
The bathroom is unfortunately extremely small and has no storage space for a toiletry bag or washing utensils.
There is a clean and beautiful pool on the roof. From there you have a great view.
The breakfast is by no means appropriate for the high price of the rooms. There is practically no fruit selection, the ”juices” are chemical crap and hardly edible. No yogurt, no cheese, no freshly ground coffee (which you would expect at these prices), no bacon, no real bread, just the usual toast nonsense.

Есть горячая вода с хорошим напором, но к сожалению с железным запахом. В номере чисто но мало места. Персонал максимально дружелюбный, во всём подскажут помогут. Когда мы выселялись, нам помогли с бесплатным трансфером до центра к месту отправления трансфера на порт Бартон. Завтрак не очень понравился, по запросу предоставляли кипятильник чтобы выпить чаю:)

BBINGFEINot so much a hotel as a bed and breakfast, do n’t expect too high ancillary facilities. I came out alone, but I can still accept it. The breakfast environment on the third floor is good, there are mountains and trees, it is a quiet village. Upstairs and the pier are relatively close, about 10 minutes walk.

IIamlapiddianaI am very grateful to their staff here, they are very kind and diligent and they are very attentive to us and their other guests. even early in the morning if you need something, they will give it to you right away, and especially on the birthday of one of our friends, they even made an effort to design a happy birthday on the wall, they even printed a picture. GGuest UserSmall rooms, next to a party street. The size, service and even the location are not worth the money, to be honest. But at that moment there were no options, no choice. All the ports were closed, and the hotels were sold out and there was nowhere to go. We took it for one night.

GGuest UserIt was a truly pleasant stay with a variety of choices of breakfast each day, with a stunning view of the sea and hills. Lemuel is a star server, who never missed a step in service in any way. He was professional, warm, helpful, and goes the extra mile to check in that we are fine whenever he can. He looked out for all guests no matter how busy it got, and helped with taking photos for the crowds too. While some other staff may have been blur, his presence and service made everything exceptional. He even shared with us that the sunset view from the hotel should not be missed, and it was good we were back in time one of the days to enjoy the view from the hotel. Great stay.
