"It's a designer hotel. The rooms are loft style, clean and nice. However, major minor points: you can not use the swimming pool in the evening, the staff is not really willing to look for solutions. We have bikes and they could not be stored ( only in an unsafe public parking outside). The (reception)staff did not really show any willingness to solve the situation..very different from other hotels in China, where our bicycles could each time he stored either in the lobby or in the room. Other minus is the difficult to find location: it's a hidden hotel,unknown by taxi drivers. Our conclusion: quite overpriced hotel"

"The hotel is located on Guangfu Road, making it very convenient to travel. Whether you are shopping, traveling or tasting local food, you can easily reach it. The hotel has a parking lot right in front of the hotel. This is a great blessing for me who travels by car. I don't have to worry about parking. The facilities in the room are complete, especially the hot spring directly connected to the room and the independent wooden bath, allowing people to relax and unwind after a tiring day. Soaking in the warm water, it seems that all the pressure is dissipated with the heat. It is so comfortable and comfortable, it is really relaxing. We also received a free breakfast experience. Here, I felt the attentive service of the hotel staff. They always greeted every guest with a smile and made us feel at home. In short, this hotel is impeccable in terms of hardware facilities and software services. If I have a chance to come here again next time, I will definitely choose to stay here again without hesitation~"

"You can enjoy a luxurious 'staycation' for just 300 RMB! I was amazed, incredibly satisfied. The hotel is located right at the foot of Xishan Mountain. Some room types offer direct views of Dianchi Lake, while others come with private courtyards. I truly enjoyed waking up to such private greenery, a perfect place to relax, daydream, and fully immerse myself. I booked this last-minute for New Year's Day. When a room became available, I wanted to upgrade, and the hotel staff proactively upgraded me for free. I absolutely loved the small room with a courtyard. Listening to the wind, watching the sun, and daydreaming – it made even going to work feel pleasant! My mom went ahead of me, and I'm very grateful to the hotel for helping with her reception and guidance. Not only did they assist with her check-in, but the service in general was excellent. Also, friends, don't worry about it being far from the city center. I honestly think Xishan is the happiest place in all of Kunming. Recommended Itinerary 1️⃣: Spend a whole day at Xishan. You can overlook all of Kunming and see many, many migrating seagulls. Stay until sunset, it's absolutely stunning (there are private cars at the South Gate to take you back to the hotel; don't just walk blindly, as walking at night can be a bit scary). Recommended Itinerary 2️⃣: Take the cable car down from Xishan, which leads directly to Haihong and Haigeng. I personally prefer Haihong; Haigeng Dam is practically a street full of live streamers. For other areas in the old city, the subway and taxis are also very convenient. Finally, I will definitely be back!! P1-3 are views from the hotel's internal observation deck. P3-6 are the views you wake up to right from your room. Highly recommend 817 – it's incredible, super beautiful, and private. You can completely immerse yourself and daydream, nobody will see you, so you can truly be yourself. I was blissfully happy. P7 onwards are all Xishan scenery. Climbing up there is truly worth it."

"This hotel's location is absolutely perfect! It's within walking distance to Cuihu Park and Kunming Old Street, and the subway is super close, making it incredibly convenient to get to Yuantong Mountain for cherry blossom viewing. It's also near Kunming Railway Station, so getting around is a breeze. The rooms are clean and tidy, with great natural light and soundproofing, making for a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff were warm and attentive; check-in was efficient, and they patiently recommended sightseeing routes and local delicacies. They were always quick to help with any issues, and their attitude was gentle and thoughtful. It's the ideal place to stay for exploring Kunming's food, sights, and flowers – excellent value for money and a fantastic experience. Definitely my top choice for a trip to Kunming!"

"I ordered takeout, but the hotel doesn't allow the deliveryman to deliver to the room because it was inconvenient for me, so I asked the front desk for help, and it was delivered to the room very quickly. When I asked the reason, the front desk guy told me that it was for the safety of the guests that the deliveryman was not allowed to go upstairs. The hotel has trained guests that if they need takeout to the room, they can help deliver it. The overall feeling of the hotel is good, and the service attitude is very good. When I checked in, I asked about the surrounding attractions and routes, and they explained it very patiently. The room internet connection was very fast, and I asked the waiter, who told me that each room has an independent dedicated line. The room feels clean, and you can swim, exercise, and take a hot spring bath. Since I had a lot of fun, I didn't have time to take a few photos of the hotel. I will take more photos after I check in next time."

"This is our third stay here, and my child absolutely loves it. The service is excellent, and the hotel is clean and hygienic. The à la carte dishes at 'A Cloud' restaurant are delicious – I highly recommend it to everyone! We'll definitely be back for future short breaks. This time, we booked the family suite with two bedrooms, and it was fantastic. It's truly the best value-for-money family room we've ever stayed in."

"4 days and 3 nights. Facilities: Mature, traditional, with good greenery. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: A true hot spring garden. Service: Meticulous, but standard. What needs to be emphasized is the need to strengthen emergency assistance training for special circumstances, especially for sudden illnesses suffered by guests. Staff should be enthusiastic and proactive, not cold and unresponsive when guests request urgent help. The male manager at Runyu Restaurant on the first floor on the evening of the 21st performed quite poorly. What deserves praise is the enthusiastic and thoughtful lobby manager on the 22nd, and the reception center staff member (I didn't catch her name, she was petite and delicate) who proactively apologized and even gave us 3 New Year gifts, which felt auspicious and warm. This somewhat made up for the disappointment of the 21st. Thumbs up to both of them!"

"The hotel boasts a French-inspired decor with a very luxurious lobby, and the rooms are predominantly white with excellent amenities. However, the service is really poor. The hotel's service line is never answered, so the only way to resolve issues is to go down to the front desk in person. During my multi-day stay, housekeeping was inconsistent – sometimes the room was cleaned, sometimes it wasn't, which was quite frustrating when returning. The front desk explained they were too busy, which frankly is an unacceptable excuse."

"This stay was fantastic! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right next to the subway station, making it easy to get to attractions and shopping areas. The room was clean, tidy, and super comfortable; I slept soundly until morning. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and helpful, not only quickly checking me in but also proactively recommending nearby restaurants. Breakfast was a great selection, including fried rice, vegetables, porridge, soy milk, coffee, milk, and steamed buns – a very generous variety. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this hotel and highly recommend it to everyone. Whether for business or leisure travel, this is an excellent choice."
