"My partner and I came to Yunnan for our honeymoon during the off-peak season. The front desk lady added me on WeChat beforehand to ask about our preferences and any special requirements. The concierge even thoughtfully sent us directions to the hotel. I have to say, Kunming really has so much delicious food! It's our first time here, and it feels like we could spend several days just exploring this area.
**Facilities:** The overall furnishings are quite tasteful. Although the decor and history of this place feel quite dated, you can tell a lot of effort went into it. All the furniture is made of rosewood, and it's clear that the design of the pavilions, terraces, and soft furnishings perfectly aligns with Chinese aesthetics. It's truly beautiful, as if every scene was specifically designed by a professional.
There's a really, really large executive lounge that's perfect for photos – it feels more like an upscale business club. It's also great for families and friends! Every single staff member's service was truly exceptional. They enthusiastically greeted us every time they saw us 😄 It was a very, very satisfying experience! "

"Our group of eight traveled around Yunnan for 12 days, and Citymark Hotel (Kunming Changshui Airport) was by far everyone's favorite. The service was exceptional; as soon as we walked in, the front desk greeted us with warm smiles, making us feel right at home. The rooms were incredibly clean and featured smart services. All the slippers and towels were sterilized and sealed, and the sheets and duvet covers were impeccably clean, even better than at home. They also offered free shuttle service, and the breakfast spread was varied, nutritious, and delicious. It was a stark contrast to the cold attitude we experienced from staff at other hotels earlier in our trip. Everyone agreed that on our next visit to Kunming, Yunnan, we'll definitely stay at Citymark Hotel again and recommend it to our friends and family."

"The hotel staffs are cordial, every little things that u need is all available in the hotel. Laundry is complete with dryer and detergent. Comfortable and smoke free hotel rooms. I have been travelling in China and some higher class hotel not even have complete toileteries that we need in the hotel. The only improvement is the lighting in the room. If they can have a individual lighting at the table area will be excellent. Downlight will disturb the guest who want to sleep and other guest who wants to work on the laptop. Overall I will rate a 5/5 for Atour Hotel."

AAnonymous UserThis hotel, newly opened this year, offers exceptional value for money given its price and location. It's about 3 kilometers from Cuihu Lake and 1.5 kilometers from Kunming Old Street. There's a convenience store and pharmacy right across the street. The only minor drawback was that when I went for breakfast around 9 AM, most of the food was already gone. I waited for a while, but nothing was refilled, so I just grabbed a coffee and went back to my room. All the staff were very polite and proactive. The room itself was spacious, with a separate vanity area and a wet/dry partitioned bathroom. Plus, they offer free laundry service through their WeChat mini-program.

GGuest UserI chose this hotel because it's close to the airport, and I'm not familiar with Kunming. I was returning from Shangri-La by high-speed train and needed a place to stay for one night before flying out the next day, so this seemed like the least tiring option. However, compared to the hotels I stayed at in Kunming Old Street, Lijiang, Dali, and Shangri-La, the staff here were relatively less friendly. In particular, they seemed a bit impatient when talking, and their tone was quite stiff when I made requests. Oh well, you get what you pay for since it was so cheap. I really hope the staff can improve their customer service.

NNingmengWe chose this hotel because it was relatively close to the event location we were attending with our child. The shuttle service was excellent; they greeted us with snacks and lollipops for the little one, and the eye mask they provided was quite useful – our child was very happy! Plus, the subway station is right at the entrance, making it super convenient for getting around!

After a full day of travelling, we really appreciated not having to travel far for food or sightseeing. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The room was spacious enough for all our luggage, and the kids settled in comfortably.
One thing to note though: the hotel is located within a pedestrian area, so cars cannot stop directly at the hotel entrance. It was a bit confusing trying to figure out where to alight when we first arrived. 😅
💡 Tip: Ask your driver to drop you off at Jinbi Flowers & Birds Market (金碧花鸟市场) instead. From there, it’s only a short walk to the hotel. You can also contact the hotel beforehand and ask the staff to come out to fetch you and help with the luggage, which makes things much easier.
Overall, still a very enjoyable stay and a convenient base for exploring Kunming on your first or last night in Yunnan. 🤍
Would I stay again? Yes — mainly for the location, family-friendly room setup, and easy access to food and attractions nearby. 😊

Downstairs, you'll find the Runcheng commercial area, and it's close to Wanda and Yunfang, making both travel and daily life convenient. The high-rise lobby is themed around camellia flowers, creating an elegant atmosphere. The rooms are clean and spacious, with comfortable Serta mattresses, and the bathroom features a separate wet and dry area with Peter Thomas Roth toiletries – thoughtful details. The buffet breakfast includes specialty Yunnan rice noodles, and the freshly ground coffee is aromatic. The 24-hour gym and free laundry room are very practical. The front desk service is efficient and enthusiastic. It's suitable for both business trips and leisure travel, offering great value for money. I'll choose this place again next time I'm in Kunming.

Location: The hotel is directly opposite Daguan Park and Yu Garden, so we could start exploring right after checking in on the first day! It's also a quick taxi ride to Cuihu Park/Jiaochang Middle Road, usually around 20 minutes. It's about 45 minutes from the airport and roughly 40 minutes from Dounan Flower Market.
Ambiance: Located by Dianchi Lake, it's very quiet overall. The room was incredibly clean, equipped with smart home devices, and ordering takeout was super convenient. We could order things like 'Zhen Tan Fried Chicken' or 'Shang Shan He Cha' (tea) and a robot would deliver them to our room. The hotel also offers sound bowl meditation classes in the evening, which I tried and found very therapeutic~
Service: The service was excellent. The staff at the front desk were all very kind and gentle. They even proactively helped us with our luggage when we took a taxi to the airport, which was incredibly helpful. Plus, breakfast runs until 10:30 AM and offers both Chinese and Western options. During my two-day stay, I tried the rolled noodles and rice noodles, both were delicious, and I especially loved the accompanying mushrooms.
Overall, a very satisfying trip! I'll definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Kunming, haha!

It's also a short drive to Cuihu Lake and the zoo, so the location is absolutely fantastic. We stayed in a spacious, flexible family room, which was over 40 square meters and comfortably laid out. It came with a private kitchenette, complete with a fridge, microwave, and capsule coffee machine, which was incredibly handy for warming milk and baby food for our child in the mornings and evenings. The mattress was a Serta, offering a perfect balance of softness and support for a plush sleep experience. The bathroom featured a smart toilet and a thermostatic shower, showing great attention to detail.

GGuest UserI chose the airport transfer service, which was very convenient and saved a lot of effort. After arriving at Kunming Airport, I waited at the sign by Gate 8 on the B1 departure level. Shuttles depart at 15 and 45 minutes past the hour, and it takes about 10 minutes to reach the hotel. When checking in, I informed them of my flight time for the next day, and the front desk noted it down for the shuttle to the airport.
The room was a comfort type, and it was quite comfortable for a one-night stay. The minibar had a good variety of tea bags, coffee, and other items. However, the faucet for adjusting water temperature in the bathroom wasn't very user-friendly; the water was either too cold or too hot, and I couldn't get it to the ideal temperature. The toilet had an automatic flush, but it was a bit delayed, always flushing unexpectedly.
The biggest pleasant surprise was their breakfast. It started serving at 5:30 AM, which is very convenient for passengers with early flights. The variety was excellent for a hotel of this price.
Next time I have an early flight, I'll definitely stay here again!
