"The room was very clean, and my room wasn't facing the street, so it was quiet. It's less than a ten-minute drive from Kunming Changshui Airport, which is super convenient. The hotel offers an airport pickup service. Even though the car was a bit hard to find, the lady at the front desk was very patient and responsible, keeping in touch with me about the location and the driver's arrival time. The hotel features a smart toilet, a Dyson hairdryer, and a projector, which are all big bonuses. Very satisfied! Changshui Airport 24-hour worry-free shuttle service."

"One thing about booking hotels in China is that you can't usually find the name of the accommodation in English and on Google maps. And that was the main reason for choosing an international brand like Ibis (although the location on Google maps is slightly off. Location is perfect. Near to the main walking street, and just minutes away from subway station. It is about 20-30 minutes walk from Green Lake park if you prefer to be staying near there. But the park is nothing special. Room is comfortable, and like all hotels in China, very reasonable for the price. But I find the pillows too soft. Shower is strong and separated from the toilet. They even have a Japanese-style toilet 😄 Breakfast is ok only. Staff was very helpful and accommodating."

"The room was super spacious, clean and tidy, with smart facilities. It's not far from the subway station, making it very convenient to take the subway or a taxi to Kunming's attractions. Downstairs, there's a night market and a farmers' market, which is great for staying a while, eating, strolling, and experiencing the local life of Kunming. The hotel staff were also very enthusiastic. It feels like much better value for money than staying near the old town."

"Overall, it was a very good stay. First off, the location is excellent, just a five-minute walk from the subway station. It's also not far from attractions like Kunming Old Street, and with an electric scooter, most places are about a 20-minute ride away. The front desk service was also great; they were very polite, which definitely deserves praise. The room itself was pretty good too. The only minor issue was that the mouthwash cup in my room didn't seem to be clean. Everything else was fine."

"We were on a business trip as a team. After checking out the hotel online, we were very impressed upon arrival and decided to book it. The hotel's location is excellent, just about 3 kilometers from Kunming South Station. The surrounding area has great transport links, a subway, and plenty of commercial options. The hotel is located inside Wanda Plaza, and there's a huge pond just 100 meters away with beautiful scenery where you can go boating, and the lights at night are stunning. The front desk staff mentioned that attractions like Dianchi Lake, Laoyu River, and Haiyan Village are only a few kilometers away, and the municipal government and Chinese medicine hospital are right next to the hotel. The room decor is exquisite, the hygiene is top-notch, and the bedding comfort is as high-class as a four-star hotel, featuring independent fan coil units and Arrow brand toilets. We were especially impressed by the front desk lady on duty; she was warm, generous, and provided thoughtful service. She was absolutely beautiful, with rosy cheeks and pearly white teeth! This was a very satisfying stay, and we look forward to our next visit!"

"This hotel is ideal for active travelers due to its excellent location, being just a 20-minute walk from Nanping Street, the Old Town, and Yuantong Temple, with the added convenience of a direct subway link to the railway station. While the rooms are well-equipped, light sleepers should request a room away from the main road to avoid traffic noise, and although the breakfast variety is limited, it offers fair value for the price."

"The room was spacious, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, making it very clean and hygienic. There's a park nearby, which is great for walks. Downstairs, you'll find plenty of restaurants and tea shops, offering a wide variety of dining and drinking options. It's also conveniently located about one kilometer from Kunming Railway Station, making transportation easy. Plus, the service attitude was excellent!"

"The hotel location is excellent, right in the city center not far from Kunming Station, with convenient transportation nearby. When checking in, the front desk arranged a quiet room for me, so I slept very peacefully at night. The room wasn't huge, but perfectly adequate for one person. The cleanliness was good, and the facilities were complete. Overall, I'm satisfied."

"This hotel was unexpectedly amazing! I was a bit worried that as a transit hotel, it might be a bit 'rough around the edges,' but it turned out to be far above standard in every aspect. As soon as the shuttle dropped us off and we checked in, the front desk attendant warmly offered hot water and a gentle greeting. Keep in mind, it was late at night, and they must have been working hard, so their enthusiasm was truly impressive. Then, seeing there were three of us, they proactively upgraded our room, which was incredibly thoughtful. Not only do I have to praise the front desk attendant, but also the driver who took us back to the airport the next day. He was a genuine local, very kind-hearted, and patiently answered all our questions about traveling in Yunnan, even offering proactive suggestions. These warm and lovely people made the beginning of our Yunnan trip an incredibly positive experience. Finally, the cleanliness was also excellent, well up to standard, and the smart home features throughout were a big plus. The value for money was absolutely top-notch! It's a shame that none of the hotels we booked later in our trip were as perfect. Perhaps this one just set the bar too high (ಥ_ಥ)."

"Wanted a nice hotel near the airport for an early morning departure… check in was easy and smooth, room allocated was excellent with a view over the city, aircon worked well, but wife insisted on opening the windows 😒😒 The view was great, lots of local shops to look at and buy whatever you need. Wanted to go to the temple but unfortunately it closes in the late afternoon. Recommend this hotel for people catching planes, can get there by metro and walk, but recommend metro then taxi if you have bags…sorry about quality of photos"
