"This is my go-to hotel! The location is super convenient, right next to the subway station, which saves a lot of travel time. The hotel environment is fantastic; the lobby is beautifully decorated and great for photos. Plus, there's free parking, which is a huge plus. The underground parking connects directly to the front desk on the fifth floor, and the rooms are in the same building, making check-in a breeze. Dining is also very convenient, with a night market right behind the hotel offering a wide variety of delicious food – perfect for late-night snacks. The room's cleanliness was excellent, and the disposable toiletries were all high-quality, including the face towels and bath towels, so there's no need to bring your own. The hotel even provided complimentary fresh and delicious fruits and desserts, which was a thoughtful touch. The easy parking makes it ideal for guests traveling by car. The front desk service was attentive and warm, and the overall environment was quiet and comfortable. The value for money is exceptional! It's perfect for both leisure and business trips. The entire experience was superb, I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely be back! Highly recommended, it was a wonderful and pleasant stay.

"The room was super spacious, clean and tidy, with smart facilities. It's not far from the subway station, making it very convenient to take the subway or a taxi to Kunming's attractions. Downstairs, there's a night market and a farmers' market, which is great for staying a while, eating, strolling, and experiencing the local life of Kunming. The hotel staff were also very enthusiastic. It feels like much better value for money than staying near the old town."

"We were on a business trip as a team. After checking out the hotel online, we were very impressed upon arrival and decided to book it. The hotel's location is excellent, just about 3 kilometers from Kunming South Station. The surrounding area has great transport links, a subway, and plenty of commercial options. The hotel is located inside Wanda Plaza, and there's a huge pond just 100 meters away with beautiful scenery where you can go boating, and the lights at night are stunning. The front desk staff mentioned that attractions like Dianchi Lake, Laoyu River, and Haiyan Village are only a few kilometers away, and the municipal government and Chinese medicine hospital are right next to the hotel. The room decor is exquisite, the hygiene is top-notch, and the bedding comfort is as high-class as a four-star hotel, featuring independent fan coil units and Arrow brand toilets. We were especially impressed by the front desk lady on duty; she was warm, generous, and provided thoughtful service. She was absolutely beautiful, with rosy cheeks and pearly white teeth! This was a very satisfying stay, and we look forward to our next visit!"

"This hotel was unexpectedly amazing! I was a bit worried that as a transit hotel, it might be a bit 'rough around the edges,' but it turned out to be far above standard in every aspect. As soon as the shuttle dropped us off and we checked in, the front desk attendant warmly offered hot water and a gentle greeting. Keep in mind, it was late at night, and they must have been working hard, so their enthusiasm was truly impressive. Then, seeing there were three of us, they proactively upgraded our room, which was incredibly thoughtful. Not only do I have to praise the front desk attendant, but also the driver who took us back to the airport the next day. He was a genuine local, very kind-hearted, and patiently answered all our questions about traveling in Yunnan, even offering proactive suggestions. These warm and lovely people made the beginning of our Yunnan trip an incredibly positive experience. Finally, the cleanliness was also excellent, well up to standard, and the smart home features throughout were a big plus. The value for money was absolutely top-notch! It's a shame that none of the hotels we booked later in our trip were as perfect. Perhaps this one just set the bar too high (ಥ_ಥ)."

"This hotel in Kunming was such a pleasant surprise! My original room faced the street and was a bit noisy, so the front desk proactively upgraded me to a much quieter one.
Outside the room, all I could see were the traditional blue-tiled roofs of Kunming Old Street. In the evening, the sunset painted the clouds a warm yellow, and the distant city skyscrapers blended beautifully with the old town architecture. Opening the window offered a unique kind of Kunming charm.
The location is absolutely fantastic too! Step outside and you're right in the Old Street commercial area. Wenhua Street and Huangdong Street are both within walking distance, and you can stroll to Cuihu Lake and Yunnan University. It's super convenient for trying authentic local dishes and exploring night markets. Getting anywhere is a breeze – a true godsend for anyone who likes to take it easy. Comfortable and hassle-free, I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Kunming!"

"Overall, it's pretty good; it's a large hostel.
The pros: There's a restaurant and a terrace where you can relax outdoors and in the restaurant during the day. There's no minimum spend, and all guests staying at the hostel can use these facilities for free. You can also eat takeout in the restaurant or outdoors, even after checking out on the same day – they won't kick you out. You can also do laundry, and the location isn't far from Cuihu Lake; it's right outside, so transportation is convenient. Since it's a hostel, it's normal for people to have different sleeping schedules and come and go at night, so mutual understanding and respect are important. The bedsheets were quite clean. However, for a few tens of yuan a night, what more can you expect? The hostel didn't complain about me being poor, so what right do I have to be picky? You should know what you paid for."

You can walk to check-in in about 5 minutes, which gives you more time to rest. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic; they even called ahead to give me directions and important information, which was very thoughtful. The room was clean. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserFacilities: Average. The bathroom has a peculiar smell. The smart toilet flushes loudly and flushes itself in the middle of the night. The sensor light in the room is useless. The light only turns on when you walk from the bed to the door and it stays on all night. The Bluetooth panel at the head of the bed often lights up automatically.

Room was pretty decent for the price and proximity to the airport. Hence we’re giving a 5/5 for the location due to proximity to Airport (approx 4-5km~ from departure/arrival gate).
We were given a level 1 room right beside the reception, so it was slightly noisy, but bearable. Please bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. You can occasionally hear sounds of planes taking off too. But that is to be expected due to the proximity to the airport.
As for cleanliness, it’s relatively clean. However we found a House Centipede in the room, hence we’re giving a 4/5 for cleanliness.
For amenities, free airport transfer service was available (both From Airport to Hotel, and Hotel to Airport). Do note that there are specific times for the shuttle transport from Hotel to Airport, so do plan accordingly when you are checking in. For our transport to Hotel,the Hotel first sent a small 5 seater car for my group. But since we had 4 people and 4 large luggages, they weren’t able to fit us all, and 2 of us had to wait for the next transport (minivan) that came 10-15mins later. But hey, at least the transport is free so you saved approx 7-10yuan in airport transfer.
Service was decent, and the hotel staff were helpful. There’s no Toothbrush and Toothpaste provided in the room, so do ask the receptionist for those. Also, do note that the reviews may be slightly higher than usual, as gifts are often provided if you show the hotel staff that you’ve given a 5/5 rating. So customers may be incentivized/pressured to provide 5/5 review ratings even though it’s not really a 5/5.
But overall room is still pretty decent for the price. The service was excellent. Hotel staff help to provide take away breakfast as we couldn’t attend the hotel breakfast as we have an early flight. I would definitely rate 5/5 for service. The staff is helpful. Should award the staff.

GGuest UserI forgot to take photos during my last stay, so the pictures are of the room type from this visit. There are some differences, but you can still get an idea.
**Amenities:** Very complete. It has everything a standard hotel should have. There aren't any toilet seat covers, so you'll need to bring your own. The bath towels are hotel-provided, and all the toiletries are there.
**Cleanliness:** Everything looked quite clean. The bedding felt freshly washed and had a faint scent of disinfectant.
**Environment:** It's a little bit away from the airport and the main road, so it's relatively quiet. With the window open, you can hear some planes taking off, but it's not very noticeable with the window closed, so you can definitely get a good night's sleep.
**Service:** They offer airport shuttle service from 4:30 AM to 2 PM, with a bus every half hour. If you need a ride to the airport in the morning, you just need to let the front desk know in advance. They'll even call you half an hour before to wake you up. The front desk staff (both the young men and women) were all super patient.
**Overall:** After looking at so many places, this one was the most satisfying. The price isn't expensive either, and the overall value for money is excellent. That's why I chose this place for both my outbound and return trips. I'll likely choose it again for future visits.

Disclaimer: The room photos were taken before check-out, so the sheets are wrinkled. I didn't take any photos at check-in. We always tidy up the room before checking out.
Room Amenities: Excellent, everything you need is available. The soundproofing is also good; since it's not facing a main road, there's no noise.
Cleanliness: Very good, spotlessly clean. Housekeeping was thorough.
The shampoo and shower gel were also nice and fragrant.
Environment: Comfortable, I slept soundly all night.
Free parking is available.
You can walk to the old street, and there are many dining options nearby, as well as shopping malls like Henglong and Jinying.
Service: Truly attentive and genuine customer service. On my birthday, they surprised us with a cake, which was completely unexpected. We think being able to do this is absolutely fantastic. Thank you again! Grateful for your blessings. Our stay in Kunming was made special by this wonderful experience.

AAnonymous User1. Location is very near to Jinma Biji Fang Pavilion. Just cross the road from the Pavillion will arrive at Nanjing Pedestrian shopping and walk through to Kunming old street - about 10-15 mins from hotel. Many food stalls and restaurants downstairs.
2. Hotel facilities - Free self service laundry with detergent and softener for hotel guests. Luggage storage at recep area.
3. Services - the Star ⭐ of the hotel is ”Lu Yiang Fang” (hope I get the name correct), a young pretty girl at the front desk. She took care of me so well (even after I had checked out) at the hotel sitting area by offering tea (pouring out and serving tea personally) and snack (sharing her ice cream, self bought). She went above and beyond to service guests and non guests on her own initiative - she checked on me (making sure that I was taken care of), booked Didi for me and sheltered me with umbrella while carrying my luggage under heavy rain to the Didi car and wanted to pay for my fare (wow, I cannot accept such kindness from a young kind generous girl, so I paid her back the fare with a small appreciation tip). She is so passionate and dedicated in her job, very nice, kind, generous, friendly and very helpful. She is a TRUE ASSET to this hotel. I ve stayed in huge numbers of variety hotels (of different ratings) in many countries, no one can match her excellent services and personality (especially after guests had checked out). To this pretty young girl, you are an Angel who shines on my 1st China solo holiday. Thank you so much for giving me such great memories in China!

🛏️Room: The independent 'Elegant Residence' king room is very spacious, with soft and comfortable bedding. The bathroom is designed with a wet/dry separation, and the toiletries are of good quality. The cleanliness is impeccable.
👨💼Service: From booking to check-in, customer service was quick to respond. The front desk staff proactively helped with luggage and thoughtfully reminded us of the shuttle pick-up time for the next day. The service was attentive and heartwarming.
