"My experience was really bad. I arrived at the hotel around 1 PM on the 2nd, and was told my room wasn't ready and I'd have to wait. They didn't call me until after 3 PM to say I could check in. Throughout this, there was no mention of compensation for the delay beyond the standard check-in time. Only after I threatened to complain to Trip.com did the hotel offer an upgrade to an executive twin room. In the room, there was hair on the headboard and pillows, and the shower leaked, flooding under the sink and into the bathroom. All the towels in the room were wet and couldn't even dry anything, so I had to call the front desk for someone to mop it up. I later found out the shower curb was higher on the inside and lower on the outside, causing the water to flow out – something the hotel admitted was an engineering issue. The next day, I spoke to the front desk, and they offered to change my room. However, the new room had noticeable stains in the sink that hadn't been cleaned, a strange smell in the bathroom, and no lotion provided. Staying at this hotel felt like opening a blind box, never knowing what extra or missing items you'd get. The staff were genuinely nice and apologized immediately when issues arose, but new problems just kept popping up. It really doesn't feel like an international brand hotel."

"While on our way to Wuyuan, we chose to stay at the Wenlan Hotel Jiande Hangzhou (Xin'anjiang Branch) for two nights during our stopover in Jiande, Hangzhou. We were extremely satisfied and considered it an excellent value. Upon check-in, the front desk thoughtfully upgraded our city view room to a river view room for free. Standing on the balcony, the panoramic view of the Xin'an River was breathtaking and truly refreshing. The staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly detail-oriented, proactively offering guidance on local attractions and dining. Each day, they even thoughtfully provided fresh fruit and beverages. The room was clean and bright, with new equipment and fast internet. What was even more touching was that from the lobby to the guest rooms, every employee greeted us with a smile and was eager to assist. Breakfast was rich and varied, with a wide selection of Chinese and Western dishes, all of excellent quality. Overall, the value for money is exceptionally high. This is truly a hidden gem among quality hotels; their diligent, enthusiastic, and thoughtful service, combined with their standard operations, truly speaks for itself – they don't need praise, just satisfied guests. We really struck gold with this find, and we highly recommend it!"

"The parking was a bit tricky to find (you have to drive over a bridge to get in, and at first, I was hesitant to cross it and couldn't find the entrance at all 😂). Overall, the environment is lovely and very antique. The hygiene was also acceptable. The breakfast selection was quite limited, and once an item ran out, it wasn't refilled. Several room facilities need improvement: 1. The security chain screw on room 3306's door is loose (if it comes undone, the door won't close properly). 2. The bathroom doorknob is loose. 3. The bedside lamp switch on the toilet side is loose. I hope these points can be improved (and that every room is checked)."

"The most notable feature is that it's a guesthouse converted from a former temple dedicated to the God of Wealth, located right in the heart of the ancient city, about 200 meters from attractions like the city wall, Xin'an River Greenway, and Xiaoxi Lake. Opposite the hotel is the Yanzhou Ancient City Exhibition Hall, connected to a postal exhibition; the space isn't large, but it's quite well-designed. The room facilities are relatively new, but the windows are small, resulting in slightly poor lighting. Although the bustling Yanzhou Ancient City is right outside, the room is relatively quiet and not noisy. During the Spring Festival, the hotel doesn't provide breakfast; you can only eat steamed buns nearby, and milk has to be purchased from another guesthouse. The biggest problem is that traffic control measures are in place on some sections of the ancient city during the Spring Festival, making it difficult to get a taxi. Because of this, I almost missed visiting Qili Yangfan on my second day."

"The environment and facilities were excellent, and the location was great too, right across from the Xin'an River. It was lovely to walk along the riverside path. We traveled by high-speed rail, and it was quite convenient, about a 30-minute taxi ride. The only issue was that the shower water temperature fluctuated, especially on the second night, it was quite noticeable. The breakfast was very good with a rich selection, including some local specialties. Overall, it was a pleasant stay."

"Traveling with my family, the hotel facilities were great, especially the outdoor pool which I imagine would be lovely in the summer. Overall, it was clean, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. We even got a room upgrade! The hotel breakfast was plentiful, with options like tofu buns and meat buns. The location is excellent; the hotel and its surroundings have a charming, antique architectural design. The Meicheng Market Street is just a short walk away, which was super convenient. It’s a perfect hotel for exploring the local area."

"The hotel is very close to the ancient city of Yanzhou, and it takes about 15 minutes to walk to it at most.
It is nice to take a walk along the river after dinner, and you can also watch performances in the ancient city.
Facilities: I booked a parent-child LOFT room. There is a 1.8M large bed on each floor, two bathrooms, and a small tent and toys for children upstairs, which is also very considerate.
The overall feeling is that the room is relatively large, which is just right for our family of three. There are chairs and tables outside the room, which is very friendly to men who smoke.
Breakfast is on the M floor (B1 floor), and the category is not particularly rich. It would be more perfect if there were more varieties. At the same time, there is a swimming pool and a small playground for children to play on this floor, as well as a children's reading area. At the same time, the hotel also provided us with a welcome meal, which can be used for dinner or lunch during the stay.

"This trip to Meicheng Ancient Town in Jiande was a real gem! Yunqi Courtyard is located in the heart of Yanzhou Ancient City, right next to the ancient cobblestone street, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining. The guesthouse is converted from an old house (a Qing Dynasty money exchange), preserving the charm of Jiangnan with its courtyard and blue brick walls, while the interior facilities are very modern, featuring smart toilets and five-star hotel-style bedding – a perfect blend of old and new. The service deserves special praise; the butler was warm and attentive, even offering complimentary Hanfu (traditional Han clothing) changing and DIY lacquer fan making. A very good homestay away from the crowds yet near to railway station. .Rooms very spacious and with excellent pillows for a sound sleep. The homestay owners are really great. The husband took us to a place for breakfast . The wife is so kind and accommodating, considerate. After seeing our empty water bottles , she put extra bottles in the room. After our trip she would put the Aircon and lights on before we are back. Fruits and coffee available at the 3rd floor. What more can we say. If I can give marks for this homestay we will give more than the actual marks as they have done beyond our expectations. I will give 20/10 . Great and unforgetable stay indeed. I will surely recommend my friends to come and stay here for an unforgetable experience

Facilities: It's a separate courtyard, the rooms are very clean and fully equipped. There's a large window facing the river, and the room also has a sound system, making it very comfortable to listen to music and relax. The weather was a bit chilly these past two days, so I didn't spend much time outdoors. Summer evenings would definitely be perfect for sitting in the courtyard. The owner said the guesthouse has been open for five years, and judging from the condition of the facilities, it must be well-maintained. The only drawback is that the door isn't very airtight, letting in a little draft and making it slightly chilly, but it's not a big problem with the air conditioning on.
Service: The owner came down to greet me upon arrival and gave a brief introduction to the river view in front of the room. The breakfast on the second day was also plentiful and could be delivered to the room to eat by the window. I didn't take many pictures, but it included porridge, tofu buns, sweet potato, corn, fermented bean curd, etc. In the evening, when it was difficult to get a taxi to the area near the ancient town, the owner even drove me there. They also thoughtfully provided directions for our trip to Wulong Mountain the next day.
Environment: The river embankment in front is perfect for a walk with beautiful scenery. There's also a delicious mochi shop nearby.

The second night I changed the parent-child room, and the boss also upgraded the room type for free. 👍👍👍 was very angry. The location of the homestay is also very good, just at the high-speed exit, because I am afraid that the scenic spot is too noisy, so I specially chose outside the scenic spot. It is also very close to the ancient town of Meicheng, ten minutes. The key is that the boss also cooked a good dish, the amount is large and affordable, and it feels the same as in his own home. Guest UserEscaping the hustle and bustle of the city, my husband and I chose this courtyard guesthouse for our night's stay. We had spent the afternoon exploring Jiande city and didn't arrive until after 10 PM. The guesthouse staff were incredibly welcoming, greeting us warmly at the door and quickly checking us in. We were too tired to properly appreciate the scenery the night before, and waking up to this place was exactly the kind of life I've always dreamed of. The restaurant was unique, the ambiance was fantastic, and the guesthouse staff's breakfast was delicious! The service was attentive and warm. If I ever need to escape the city again, I'll definitely choose this place again. Personally, I think it was absolutely wonderful! 👍

An experience that exceeded expectations, and say highlights:
1. Linjiang, first-line river view, after the rain, the room can see the clouds and mist on the mountainside, very close to Qili Yangfan and Jiusuring Fishing Village
2. Washing and care toothpaste are old Japanese brands, easy to use
3. Attentive service, we booked a twin bed for two big and one small, because there are vacancies on Wednesday, so we took the initiative to upgrade the best suite, and gave an extra breakfast, very warm heart
4. The lobby is very similar to the large living room at home, you can stay for a long time, chatting, eating, drinking coffee and drinking are great.
5. The living room of the suite is very cool to watch the World Cup.

The hotel is beautiful. My room had a great view. It's quiet and serene. The staff speaks English and they are very polite and very helpful!
The hotels has 2 restaurants and neither of them serves food all day. There is no restaurant nearby. So if you arrive hungry then you stay hungry. The TV in the room has terrible sound, as If TV speakers are removed on purpose. The rooms don't have sound insulation may be that's why TV's speakers have been removed.

The hotel is built by the river, with an unbeatable river view. The parking lot is on the third floor with charging stations. The service staff escorted us to the elevator entrance. The scenic elevator goes directly to the lobby on the eighth floor, surrounded by water and light, like entering a fairyland. The front desk lady took the initiative to upgrade the room, which was very warm. The room is clean, the decoration is quite new, the water quality is particularly good, everything is so beautiful.

IvoryzzfIt was 40 degrees Celsius, and my kid was uncooperative the whole time, but the travel photoshoot still managed to get great shots?! This time, I brought the whole family to Fuchun Fangcaodi to escape the summer heat. It was scorching, and my child clung to me the entire time. I almost wanted to cancel the travel photoshoot I'd booked, thinking, 'With this heat and a cranky kid, what kind of photos could we possibly get?'
But wow! The photographer from Xinrui Travel Photography was amazing! They patiently waited for my child to feel better, never rushing or pushing, joking with them while capturing candid moments. They only snapped furiously for the one or two minutes my child was willing to get down. When it came time to select the photos, I was stunned – even the raw unedited shots were fantastic, with perfect composition and lighting. You couldn't tell at all that my child was having a tantrum! I'm truly impressed by their skill; they literally 'made the impossible possible'!
I also have to praise the customer service representative. From the moment I added them on WeChat before check-in, they were incredibly enthusiastic. They sent guides, reminded me about the weather, helped coordinate times, and answered every question with generosity and efficiency. It made me feel very comfortable.
In summary: The environment at Fangcaodi is beautiful on its own, but if you book a travel photoshoot, that beauty can be wonderfully captured. Hot weather and uncooperative kids are no problem – just leave it to them!

When we arrived, the exterior did not quite match the pictures online, but once inside, we were pleasantly surprised.
The hotel was spacious and clean and very well kept.
Xiao Jiang and the staff on the front desk were patient and extremely helpful. They were sure to escort me to my room and check in on me to see if I needed anything.
The room was lovely. Very comfortable main bed and a stunning view. The shower was modern and spacious, and the projector screen TV was a nice touch.
We were given soft drinks and fruit. Which was also a welcome touch.
The second bed was quite hard - the mattress wasn't really a mattress, so sleeping was somewhat uncomfortable.
Breakfast was delicious and varied. It was mainly Chinese with a few Western choices, too.
The pool was a little disappointing. Not quite full and a little dirty, so we didn't go.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
