"I rang the hotel the day before to ask for directions and they were very helpful with giving advice about getting discounted the entrance ticket for us as the hotel is located within the scenic area and the ticket is also valid for the 2 days we were there for. They also added me to a WeChat group with all their staff and everyone was extremely helpful in giving advice and recommendations. One thing was that the bathroom drain is a bit small and when I was washing my hair in the shower it got blocked by the hair (I have long hair that sheds a bit) and there was a bit of mini-flood happening in the shower, though that's more the design of the shower. Bonus: cats and bunny at the reception!
Would definitely stay again if I'm visiting!"

"My stay here was wonderful! Amber at the front desk provided incredibly warm and attentive service. From checking me in to patiently offering local sightseeing tips, she smiled throughout, making me feel incredibly welcome.
The location is excellent, just over ten minutes from the high-speed train station. It was super easy to get to, even with luggage, which is a huge plus for anyone needing to catch a train!
In the evening, I visited Xitang Ancient Town. The night scenery was absolutely mesmerizing – small bridges, flowing water, and red lanterns everywhere. Every casual photo I took looked like it belonged in a magazine! Xitang also offers a wide variety of local snacks; the stinky tofu was particularly delicious!
Overall, the hotel is clean and comfortable, conveniently located, and offers exceptional value for money! I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit and highly recommend it to all fellow travelers!"

"The room lived in 811, the work desk was relatively small, the bedding smelled of smoke, towels to pillows, linen cleaning, breakfast 30 yuan later, breakfast in the J building, laundry and dryer. Easy parking. The beauty at the front desk explained clearly."

"I have always known that Hyatt has a Yifei. This time I came to Jiashan to experience it. Yifei has high cost performance and high quality.

Service: The front desk lady is very enthusiastic. I told her my requirements and she was able to meet them. I like the room I arranged. The room is also very clean and tidy. GGuest UserI booked a loft room on the 11th, with upper and lower floors, 5 people, not crowded. The room is clean and has 2 balconies with good air and beautiful views. It can have convection and wind. It is very cool during the National Day, so there is no need to turn on the air conditioner. No mosquitoes either. The bed is big and soft. Have a good night's sleep.
The interior design has a natural feel, and the decoration is tasteful, not the simple street decoration. The bedside is very atmospheric. The bathroom is not very big, there is only one, but it doesn't matter if the whole family uses it separately.
The entire hotel has four floors, and you don’t feel tired even if you go up the spiral staircase. On the contrary, it is very artistic.
There is a small Zen-like pavilion on the first floor, where two people drink tea and watch the flowing water next to them, which is quite artistic.
The boss is very warm and considerate. Karaoke is available on the second floor. There is also a barbecue grill. I bought ingredients from the nearby pot circle, barbecued, sang, and played board games. It was very pleasant.
The Huazhiyu Hanfu experience provided by the hotel is also great. It's brand new, free to wear, and you can take photos yourself. It will be a blockbuster.
There is no food in the hotel, but there are enough internet celebrity stores nearby.
A satisfactory stay experience, recommended.

GGuest UserI traveled to Xitang with my mother, who is over 70, and the Wanda Meihua Hotel we stayed at perfectly met all our needs:
1. **Location:** Just a 2-minute walk from the entrance of Xitang Ancient Town. A fantastic perk is that you can enter the ancient town for free after 5 PM and before 8 AM. This allowed us to fully enjoy Xitang's nocturnal charm and capture beautiful photos in Hanfu during the day.
2. **Ambiance:** The hotel is quiet, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. I particularly appreciated the well-designed bathroom with its wet/dry separation. The mattress and duvet were exceptionally comfortable – my mother slept like a baby!
3. **Service:** The staff contacted us beforehand to inquire about our room preferences. They even provided welcome fruit and bedtime milk! Their warmth and hospitality made us feel truly at home.
4. **Breakfast:** The breakfast spread was incredibly generous. I highly recommend the freshly made rice noodles and wontons, along with the pastries, fresh fruit, and various local specialties. A true feast for the taste buds!
Over the years, whether for business trips or family vacations, I've stayed in countless hotels across many cities in China. This is hands down the *only* one I would enthusiastically recommend to all my friends.
Xitang is definitely worth a visit, and the Wanda Meihua Hotel is an absolute must-stay! It truly made our Xitang trip even more memorable.

GGuest UserI chose this hotel after looking online for a long time. The sanitary conditions are really good. I booked a room on the second floor, facing the river. I loved the floor-to-ceiling windows next to the bed. The scenery outside the window was also very beautiful.
Free pick-up or drop-off at Xitang Scenic Area Station: the store manager specially drove to pick us up, and also gave us a fruit plate when we arrived at the hotel. The reception service was very warm!
ps: His home is only 80 meters away from the entrance of the scenic spot. It is very convenient to enter and exit the scenic spot. Because you can enter and exit the scenic spot at will by swiping your face within 24 hours, you can sleep in late the next day and rush to the entrance of the scenic spot for the last time.

Dining: We thoroughly enjoyed the dining options, including the Chinese restaurant, the organic cafe, and the breakfast spread. The ingredients were fresh, which gave us peace of mind.
Service: The service truly stood out – it was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, with staff always going the extra mile. A special mention to the cleaning staff: one housekeeper proactively offered me sanitary pads and brown sugar when she noticed I wasn't feeling well. Another time, during breakfast, the staff kindly helped me carry food to my table while I was holding my child.
Family-Friendly Amenities: There's an indoor Montessori kids' club, which, while not huge, is a nice option. Right across from the hotel is an organic farm; it's perfect for a leisurely walk if the weather permits and has a lovely French chateau ambiance.
Photography: We used the 'Qidu Travel Photography' service. They were very efficient and even gifted us three complimentary photos. We were extremely pleased with the results!

The courtyard is very beautifully decorated, the room is clean, disposable bath towels and towels are prepared, and the mineral water is also Wahaha😄. The clerk is enthusiastic and prepared wine and snacks. Seeing my two children, they gave me more snacks. It is very close to the entrance of Xitang Ancient Town. Just cross the road. GGuest UserPositives - The room assigned to me on the 2nd floor is big with a double bed that could be a little hard but that is normal for beds in China. There is a huge bath tub and toilet which looks like the Japanese toilet but the bidet function is not working and the flushing function is working. There are the usual amenities such as disposable towels in plastic and slippers. There is a balcony overlooking the river with a table and 4 chairs for guests to seat together. It is a very good location facing the famed covered tiled roof street and many eateries around. I checked that the prices sold are reasonable when compared to same items sold in Shanghai.
Area for improvement. The location of the inn is quite difficult for me to find as there is no map to indicate where it is and there is no English signage to show the direction. I have to ask around and I managed to figure out the street name in English. I wish there is a drop-off location mentioned for the taxi drivers to follow. The owners cannot speak English at all and I rely on Google translate to converse with them.

MMichael ZargarovThis is a marvelous homestay-guesthouse. Located in a quiet area of the old-town, but very close to many bars and restaurants. Next door to a temple.
The owner is a friendly man who loves cats... and has three lazy, fat cats who sleep most of the time. He even gave us chilled bottles of Perrier French mineral water upon our arrival! The courtyard has two Loquat trees which provided many delicious fruits.
Our room was upstairs in this renovated old Qing-Dynasty house. We had a small private balcony. The bed was very comfortable, with great bolster pillows for watching movies on the huge screen. There was a refrigerator in the room. The bathroom was huge and even included a Japanese toilet with bidet functions. Soft towels. Good toiletries.
The included breakfasts, served in the courtyard, were wonderful. Fried bread, two-kinds of dumplings, soy milk, boiled eggs. Delicious coffee. Watermelon slices.
Xitang is a beautiful, if a bit over-commercialized ”ancient” town. We enjoyed our visit, and this lovely guest-house. The guesthouse is a bit hard to locate. It is in the Eastern part of the old town, near the bar street. For those who enjoy Hanfu, there are MANY shops nearby where you can rent the costumes.

We also had a private balcony with a comfortable swing seat! Breakfast was delicious (Chinese style obviously) and all the staff were extremely accommodating. MMr xiaomuI chose to come to Xitang for New Year's Day. I spent the Spring Festival in Xitang ten years ago. After several comparisons, I chose this hotel to stay in.
The hotel staff provided good service. They would contact and push the parking address in advance, and wait for the arrival time to be confirmed. They would greet and lead the way after driving to the hotel on the same day.
The hotel is located in the scenic area of Xitang Ancient Town, not far from the core area. You can go back to the hotel to rest when you are tired. The decoration style of the room is also very consistent with the temperament of the ancient town. I specially booked a room with a balcony and got up early in the morning to welcome the first ray of dawn in 25 years!
