"This hotel is quite good. There are many hotels in Xitang, mostly old-house guesthouses, and their quality varies. This one, however, is quite ideal. It has that tranquil, ancient charm of the old town, but the actual living experience is quite modern. We've stayed in many guesthouses before, and most weren't suitable for kids. But 'Lightyear Hotel' is perfect; the facilities, amenities, breakfast, etc., are all very thoughtful. The service from the hotel manager was also very dedicated, thumbs up!"

The breakfast was delicious, and the laundry facilities were convenient and quick. Overall, it was excellent. The hot water was fast and good, the bedding was comfortable, the facilities were great, and the TV was large. A truly wonderful hotel."

"I was extremely satisfied with this hotel! Parking was incredibly convenient; no need to search for a spot, so great for drivers! There are tons of food stalls nearby, perfect for exploring the local area. The hotel room was clean and comfortable, with a strong shower and good soundproofing. The breakfast was delicious, there's a small garden where you can feed the fish, and a quiet place to read on the first floor – a peaceful and relaxing environment. Overall, a perfect experience, excellent value for money, and great service from Moling. Highly recommended!"

"***November 2025 Stay Experience*** I received a call immediately after booking to confirm my arrival time and arrange ticket purchases (discounts available, free for seniors over 70). A friendly staff member picked me up and helped with my luggage; they responded promptly to any questions. Regarding the environment, I really loved the courtyard and cabins. Sitting in the courtyard watching the swaying trees and listening to the wind and birdsong was the epitome of idyllic living. However, the reality is that there are mosquitoes, and it gets quite chilly in late autumn and early winter. The duplex layout was a highlight when I chose the room, but I wouldn't recommend it for older people. Getting up at night requires climbing stairs to the first floor, which isn't very safe. The bathroom doesn't have a door, so water splashes onto the sink area. There's no absorbent mat either; I suggest improvements. Also, the air conditioner is extremely noisy, but when it's off, it's very cold and damp, and the blankets feel damp. The staff member mentioned that the noise seems particularly loud when it's quiet here. I explained the situation to the young lady, and she changed my room to ”West Window Dream” for the second night. Although the atmosphere and design were slightly inferior, the standing air conditioner was powerful, and she even added a blanket and an electric blanket, which satisfied my comfort needs! "An excellent hotel! Even before we checked in, the front desk staff called us to ask about our room preferences and needs. They thoughtfully asked if we needed a local guide, which the hotel had prepared themselves and was very detailed. We drove from Shanghai, and the parking lot right at the hotel entrance was super convenient, plus it's free for guests. The room was incredibly clean, very new, and quiet—we had a fantastic rest. It truly lives up to its InterContinental brand. The in-room amenities were also very modern, giving the whole experience a luxurious feel. The breakfast had a great variety, and the buffet was delicious in terms of color, aroma, and taste! Highly recommend this place, it gets top marks!"

"Traveling with kids for the holidays, the family room was a real highlight and a pleasant surprise. We were lucky enough to experience two themed family rooms: Super Wings and Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf. My son definitely preferred Super Wings. It's a shame we couldn't get a family room with a slide, but we'll try again next time. Hotel parking was very convenient, and it's close to scenic spots like Xitang Ancient Town, making it easy to get around by car."

Even during peak check-in time when I arrived, he handled everything calmly and efficiently, completing the process quickly. When I requested to change floors on short notice, Via patiently coordinated and successfully changed my room. He also meticulously explained the hotel facilities, local ancient town attractions, and authentic cuisine. His demeanor was impeccable, and his service was thoughtful and attentive, always polite and enthusiastic. Such high-quality service truly reflects the hotel's standards. Thanks to Via's exceptional service, this hotel will definitely be my top choice again when I visit Jiashan next time."

"Love Xitang because of this hotel. The balcony is directly beside the river with breathtaking views. The hotel has free hanfu costumes experience and we just paid a little extra for makeup and photographers to follow us around in the village. Love this hotel"
