"May be the best place to stay while visiting XITANG ancient water town, CITANG town itself is so beautiful so pairing with this hotel may be the greatest plan you’ll enjoy. 1 minute walk to the entrance gate which means everything is at your door steps. Room is super nice and extra big. From checking in to out, everything was perfectly smooth. Breakfast was good and fair. Only some negative situations ( for me ) GYM and LAUNDRY ROOMS can’t be used at late night, just only operating from 0800 to 2100, so if your in a rush…it’s impossible May be the best hotel in XITANG ancient town OH, it’s CHINA so just remember even you book NON SMOKING ROOM, you can get the smell every where"

"I brought my elderly parents to Xitang for Women's Day, and a friend recommended this hotel inside the scenic area. It truly has a beautiful Chinese garden design, with winding paths that create a wonderful sense of seclusion. We stayed in a balcony room, which even had a swing chair. It was incredibly pleasant to swing and chat with my family as the sun set. The room's wet/dry separation design was very practical, and the room service was exceptionally attentive. It was also very convenient to walk into the core scenic area. We had a panoramic view of Xitang bathed in sunshine and later, illuminated by fishing boats and lights. Watching people in traditional Hanfu attire wander through the scenic area felt like traveling a thousand years back in time, perfectly embodying the creative concept behind the 'Guangnian' (Lightyear) Hotel name!"

"Traveled with my child for two days during the May Day holiday. This hotel offers great value for money, with all dining, entertainment, and activities available on-site. The best part was the parent-child activities, which were a real lifesaver for families with kids, freeing up our hands completely! Most of these activities wrapped up before 4 PM, so I'd suggest adding some options for after 4 PM to make it even more perfect. The service was also excellent. Upon check-in, I added Front Office Manager Shi Liu on WeChat. She provided one-on-one assistance for our 3-day, 2-night stay, helping me arrange activities and book meals – everything was handled perfectly! The main thing is that my little one had a blast, and we'll definitely be back. The hotel is close to Jiashan South Station and there's a 'Jiashan Yueli' nearby with lovely night views. The room was spacious and very new; we booked a themed room this time, and my child absolutely loved it. We'll return again if we get the chance. Highly recommended! [Strong]"

"The weather was cold and snowy, but the hotel service was incredibly warm, definitely a plus. I received a call from Ms. Yin, the customer service representative, even before arriving at the hotel. Ms. Wang, who handled check-in, was patient and attentive throughout, providing detailed information about breakfast times and answering all my questions. The room was clean and tidy, and there were five complimentary bottles of mineral water. Although there were a few minor flaws, Manager Dai handled them very well, and I was very satisfied. I will definitely stay here again. Furthermore, the hotel is located in the city center with complete surrounding facilities, beautiful night views, a large and convenient parking lot, and delicious breakfast."

"This hotel is perfectly situated right next to Xitang Scenic Area, just about 100 meters away on foot. It's truly the best hotel in the vicinity of Xitang. The room layout is incredibly well-designed; the bathroom and washroom are separate, and there's even a walk-in closet, plus a bathtub🛁. The bedding is just the right firmness – very comfortable, clean, and tidy. There's a central garden with a unique and beautiful landscape. The hotel restaurant's Squirrel Fish and Old Duck Wonton Pot were absolutely delicious, much more refined than what you'd find at outside restaurants. You can spot the hotel's exterior from Xitang, looking tranquil and inviting under the lights. A little tip: Xitang is free before 8 AM and after 5 PM."

"What a beautiful hotel, from outside to inside. It's located just outside Xitang Scenic Area, but they have a backdoor through the garden where the staff can escort and bring guests thru so you don't have to pay again for a ticket to enter the attraction. Every bit of the room is spacious, from the bathroom to shower area to the bedroom. I love how the bed faces a full ceiling to floor window where you can wake up to a lovely view while still lying in bed. The bed and pillows are firm and comfy. The water pressure in the shower is good but hard to control the temperature. The hair dryer is a little weak and took a while to dry my short hair. The room also came with a generous plate of fresh fruits. Service was excellent and friendly. Breakfast buffet was simple, nothing fancy but the usual staples are there and food quality is ok. The live noodles station was the best for me, can't go wrong with hot noodles soup & wantons, especially on a cold morning. Was given a beautiful tea cup as a farewell gift at check-out. Overall it was a great stay and I highly recommend anyone planning to stay a night at Xitang to stay here!"

The location is excellent—just a few minutes’ walk from the main street, food market, shops, bars, restaurants, and one of the many beautiful canals and scenic spots. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the service exceeded all expectations. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, with the concierge available at any time and always ready to help. They even went the extra mile by picking us up at the entrance gate and escorting us back to the taxi after check-out. Overall, everything was handled with great care and professionalism. The facilities are outstanding. The hotel's architectural style is elegant and exquisite, and the garden is planted with various flowers and green plants, making the environment very pleasant. The room is fully equipped, clean and tidy, giving people a warm and comfortable feeling. The bed was moderately soft and hard, allowing me to have a good night's sleep. The hotel has an internal bar, which is not open to the public. A variety of board and board games are also provided for guests' entertainment. You have more choices in your spare time, so you can fully enjoy the fun of your trip. The hotel staff are warm and friendly and always provide us with attentive service. Dining: We thoroughly enjoyed the dining options, including the Chinese restaurant, the organic cafe, and the breakfast spread. The ingredients were fresh, which gave us peace of mind. Service: The service truly stood out – it was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, with staff always going the extra mile. A special mention to the cleaning staff: one housekeeper proactively offered me sanitary pads and brown sugar when she noticed I wasn't feeling well. Another time, during breakfast, the staff kindly helped me carry food to my table while I was holding my child. Family-Friendly Amenities: There's an indoor Montessori kids' club, which, while not huge, is a nice option. Right across from the hotel is an organic farm; it's perfect for a leisurely walk if the weather permits and has a lovely French chateau ambiance. Photography: We used the 'Qidu Travel Photography' service. They were very efficient and even gifted us three complimentary photos. We were extremely pleased with the results!

YYueyoumanxingOverall, I was quite satisfied with my stay, but there were a few minor complaints. When I first checked in, the hotel staff enthusiastically greeted me with ticket purchases, carried my luggage, and even offered to take it to the third floor. Later, I discovered there was no elevator, so I had to fend for myself when I checked out. Although I encountered some issues with my tickets during my stay, the hotel responded quickly and helped resolve them. The hotel is in a great location, convenient to key attractions! I have to highly praise the housekeeping staff and the noodle cook in the breakfast room; their service was truly excellent! There are two main complaints: First, the cabinets in some rooms are not child-friendly, making it easy for young children to bump their heads. The bedside lamps are too low, and I hit my head three or four times. While not excruciatingly painful, it was still quite painful. Second, the front desk staff was very negative about the hotel's intangible cultural heritage experience program. They even said, ”I don't want to go” in front of guests. It was truly unbelievable. After two staff members evaded the question for a long time, the guy on duty finally came to take us. He was very dedicated and responsible, and I am very grateful to him. However, our experience was still delayed due to the waiter's evasion and reluctance to guide us, especially when we needed to rush to our next destination. This made us wait for a long time each time. This really makes me feel that the hotel management is substandard! In particular, can you please not say this in front of guests? It made me feel embarrassed!

I loved the floor-to-ceiling windows next to the bed. The scenery outside the window was also very beautiful. Free pick-up or drop-off at Xitang Scenic Area Station: the store manager specially drove to pick us up, and also gave us a fruit plate when we arrived at the hotel. The reception service was very warm! ps: His home is only 80 meters away from the entrance of the scenic spot. It is very convenient to enter and exit the scenic spot. Because you can enter and exit the scenic spot at will by swiping your face within 24 hours, you can sleep in late the next day and rush to the entrance of the scenic spot for the last time.

GGuest UserFinally, I stayed here on my own. I'd always booked for clients before, but this time, I brought a friend along to experience a river-view room in the heart of Xitang. It was worth the trip. We also saw the flower boats. There weren't many, only six, but they were perfect for the setting. Interlude: I asked the landlady to borrow two beautiful fire goblets, and then my friend dropped them on the floor. The first thing the landlady asked was if we had any scratches, and she didn't ask for compensation.

The location of the hotel is in Xitang which is a tourist area so come in after 5pm and the entrance fee is free! The hotel staff was really friendly as we left a note letting them know that my partner is a professional photographer so we booked a room with a balcony to take pictures. Before we checked-in, the owner offered to bring us to another hotel he owns in the area to see if liked the views there better but we still chose to stay in Manjuelong. The rooms are quite spacious and the hotel was quite quiet at the time. The hotel is situated inside a tourist area which was quite convenient for us to walk around and explore! If we go back to Jiaxing again, we will consider staying here again!
