"***November 2025 Stay Experience*** I received a call immediately after booking to confirm my arrival time and arrange ticket purchases (discounts available, free for seniors over 70). A friendly staff member picked me up and helped with my luggage; they responded promptly to any questions. Regarding the environment, I really loved the courtyard and cabins. Sitting in the courtyard watching the swaying trees and listening to the wind and birdsong was the epitome of idyllic living. However, the reality is that there are mosquitoes, and it gets quite chilly in late autumn and early winter. The duplex layout was a highlight when I chose the room, but I wouldn't recommend it for older people. Getting up at night requires climbing stairs to the first floor, which isn't very safe. The bathroom doesn't have a door, so water splashes onto the sink area. There's no absorbent mat either; I suggest improvements. Also, the air conditioner is extremely noisy, but when it's off, it's very cold and damp, and the blankets feel damp. The staff member mentioned that the noise seems particularly loud when it's quiet here. I explained the situation to the young lady, and she changed my room to ”West Window Dream” for the second night. Although the atmosphere and design were slightly inferior, the standing air conditioner was powerful, and she even added a blanket and an electric blanket, which satisfied my comfort needs! "The location of this hotel in Xitang is superb, right by the river! As soon as you step out, you're on the ancient town's canals. We even took a stroll around in the evening, it was so cool and refreshing. We also tried the cold jelly dessert (shi liang fen), which was delicious. The room was great too. "The house price is good, cost-effective, the service is also very good, I like the overall style, and there is an ancient well in the yard! Very close to the scenic spot, convenient! Highly recommended for a family trip!"

"The environment is great, very clean and hygienic. Having parking available is a big plus. For our first outing, the staff guided us to the riverside, which was just a one-minute walk away. There are lots of dining options along the Misty Rain Corridor, which is very convenient. This is a newly opened place, the space is generous, and having a private courtyard really maximizes the sense of privacy."

"This is a guesthouse in the Xizha Scenic Area. It's at the end of a narrow alley, so I couldn't find it on my own. But the staff at the hostel kindly called and asked for the hotel, and I was able to find it. The hotel staff were very friendly. The room has a lovely atmosphere, and it's perfect for exploring the ancient town late at night or early in the morning. The air conditioning was weak, so it was a little cold."

"I booked the Five Lakes Riverside Balcony Room with Main Channel View and Bathroom at Regalia Riverside for Dec 30 and 31, 2025. The room looks exactly as it does in the photos. The balcony has plug ins, teapot, teacups and tea prepared for you. Across the balcony, you can see the famous bridge and the boat station. You can also see up and down the channel. Room size is good for 2 persons. In the room is a heater/AC which worked perfectly and Ms. Sun also kindly turned on the heater since she knew my arrival time. The room has a kettle but no cups, coffee. Luckily I had brought my own. Also, know that the hotel does not provide breakfast - not a problem for me but for those we eat breakfast, just step outside. Location is perfect, it's in the heart of ancient town so easy to walk everywhere. Outside your door is snack street and at the end of the street is a ”food court”. Despite it's central location and opposite of the boat station, the noise was manageable. When I closed the balcony doors, I didn't hear anything (maybe too cold for people to loiter around?). Everyone was very nice and kind. Ms. Sun went out of her way to help me with my return bus ticket to Hangzhou, giving me directions on how to arrive at the hotel/meeting point where she waited for me, and her colleague even walked and waited for my car when I departed for Hangzhou. Going from Hangzhou to Xitang was an adventure as I read many different versions and my hotel told me another in my research. All in all, i highly recommend Regalia and Xitang! Thank you to Ms Sun and everyone for making my 2026 new year experience so memorable!"

"We chose this hotel for our family trip to Xitang with our child, and our stay was an absolute delight – truly a hidden gem for families! The room was spacious, and the semi-open bathroom design felt airy and made it easy to keep an eye on our little one. The frosted glass partition offered plenty of privacy. The vanity height was just right, so our child could easily wash hands and brush teeth independently, which was super convenient. The lighted vanity mirror was also a nice touch for mom's touch-ups. The beds were soft and comfortable, and with a king-sized bed plus an extra bed, there was plenty of room for the whole family without feeling crowded – our child could roll around freely without any worries. The hallway carpets were soft, so we didn't have to worry about bumps or falls if our child ran around. The warm lighting created a cozy atmosphere, making it feel just like home. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly. They proactively offered to help with our luggage when they saw we had a child and thoughtfully asked if we needed any children's amenities (like small slippers or rinse cups) – they really thought of everything! Whether it's a short family getaway or a longer trip, this hotel is perfectly suited for families. The thoughtful design, attentive service, and comfortable environment made for a happy stay for our child and allowed us parents to relax properly. I've already recommended it to all my friends with kids, and we'll definitely be back!"

"This stay experience is particularly satisfactory! Check-in at the front desk of the store was very fast, the service was intimate, and the surrounding play routes were also actively informed. The rooms were spotless, there was no smell, the mattress was moderately firm and had a good night's sleep. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, hot water is sufficient, and the supporting facilities are all available. The location of the hotel is convenient for travel, the surrounding eating and shopping are very close, the overall price is full, the first choice for travel accommodation, has been recommended to friends!
