"This is a relatively new hotel, and during my stay over Chinese New Year, it was almost exclusively occupied by Chinese guests.
The room was the largest I've ever stayed in among all Spanish hotels, probably over 30 square meters. There was easily enough space to open two 28-inch suitcases.
I probably arrived late, so I was given an accessible room right by the elevator. Although it faced the elevator, it was surprisingly quiet. However, when showering, water tended to splash around a bit, but not excessively.
Basic amenities were provided, including toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, and shower gel. They were travel-sized, which was convenient for taking with you. Other items like bathrobes and extra tissues were available upon request.
For a double room, the bed was made of two single beds pushed together, and the duvet was a rather inexplicable European style where the duvet insert is sandwiched between two sheets. 🙃
The location is quite convenient for getting around. The three main attractions – Plaza de España, the Royal Palace, and the Cathedral – are all within walking distance. Within a 10-minute walk, there are also many local restaurants with a lively atmosphere. I recommend a breakfast spot nearby called Bar Entrepuentes; the ham in their ham sandwich is incredibly fragrant!
Overall, there were some minor issues, but nothing major, and the advantages were quite significant. The high number of Asian guests also brought a sense of comfort and familiarity from a certain perspective. 😂"
