"Clean and good location. It's my first time in Osaka. Mostly I just walk to most of the tourist spots. There are multiple train stations within walking distance. Also, the best is that, the limousine bus from the airport does make a stop nearby this hotel. The room is spacious. Multiple convenience stores around. The 7 Eleven is just right next to the hotel. Awesome. Highly recommend."

"The location is super convenient; it's just a 100-meter walk from Exit 10 of Higobashi subway station. The lobby is tucked away inside, and the entrance is small, so it's easy to miss. The room is typical for Japan, quite small. Drinking water is only provided once. The lobby offers useful local guide maps. Breakfast is served at the cafe on the first floor and is very substantial!"

"There is no 24hrs front desk but they will give instructions about self check-in/out during out of office time.
The hotel is clean, the linen, quilt, pillow are all clean and very comfortable.
The pillow is not the very soft one that made me enjoy my stay as most pillows in other countries are very soft that sometimes you feel you do not have pillow or need to add 1 more on top.
Budget friendly specially for those who not want a bunk bed/capsule type. I like their loft type of bed as you will have a space under the bed for your things and you can sit and watch tv.
Android TV so you can watch Youtube. There was a Netflix on the option but ai never watch Netflex (not fond of it 🫢)
Though not a walking distance from Dotonbori but just 1 ride only of many train line options.
Recommended for solo travelers who wants a private room and comfortable stay."

as for location wise, almost everything is walking distance which is amazing! the nearest station is daikokucho station which is about an 8min walk away, namba is about a 12min walk away and ashiharabashi station is about a 13min walk (convenient to go USJ). The hotel is almost situated very near the Namba Yasaka Jinja Shrine (3min walk), has a 7-11, family mart, duty free drugstores and 2 supermarkets (LIFE Store and Plus) with walking distance of 5min or less. overall amazing stay!"

"National Day disaster! This Japanese-style hotel, priced three times higher than usual, offered a shower experience that was utterly dreadful.
I booked this Japanese-style hotel for my National Day trip, and the price was triple the usual rate. I expected a matching experience, but the awful shower completely ruined my good mood!
The most outrageous issues were the shower's safety and design. The edge of the bathtub was incredibly slippery, with absolutely no anti-slip reinforcement. Three toiletries were placed directly on the edge, and during my shower, the shampoo bottle fell twice, landing heavily on my toes. The pain instantly put me off showering. There wasn't even basic safety protection.
Even more frustrating was adjusting the shower temperature. The cold water came out incredibly slowly. Finding the right temperature required repeated attempts – it was either scalding hot at first, or I'd have to wait ages for the cold water to come through. This severely impacted my shower efficiency and was completely unacceptable for a hotel at this price point.
I do not recommend staying here."

"Good hotel with spa with mediocre services.
The room was neat, clean and feeling new.
However, staffs are not familiar with English, not even talking Mandarin. Using the translator with poor voice input was troublesome and sometimes it interpreted wrong meanings.
Room service if missed will not be provided again on that day.
Also, there were many spa-only visitors simply lying on the spa floor.
Parts of the male spa were under construction and one night there were no 40 degree Celsius or higher pool as they were all under cleaning at the same time.
The ground of the spa was very slippery, mostly because many visitors did not bother to rinse themselves well after using the conditioner.
The breakfast buffet is good in terms of food choices and environment. But I dislike the scrambled eggs, which had a texture tasted awful."

"This place is absolutely amazing! Everything you can make online, super clean and in a very convenient location. It looks just renovate and exactly like in trip photos.
The only thing I didn't like was that the only showers for so many people are located on the 1st floor and you have to go up and down with the elevator every time. The price during weekdays is very cheap for Japan"

"Whenever I visit Japan, I always prefer staying at Mitsui hotels; their quality is consistently reliable. The room size is quite spacious; it wasn't cramped even with three of us and two suitcases. It's also very convenient for getting to Umeda and Shinsaibashi, a pleasant 30-minute walk away. If you'd rather not walk, the Yotsubashi and Midosuji lines are nearby, just one stop away. There's a 7-Eleven and a Lawson right downstairs, plus several local eateries in the vicinity offering a wide variety of food. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay."

"The location of the hotel is pretty convenient. 5–6 minutes walk to Hommachi St., which you can easily use to travel to Kyoto, Kobe, etc.
The check-in and check-out were really fast, and we had an upgrade, which was worth the price. I had read the previous reviews about the rudeness of the staff, which is not actually due to this, but it’s the language barrier that could make a tired traveller a little less patient.
If you wish to ask something more specific, please don’t be afraid to use the Google Translate app to help you with the communication. The staff have been really helpful to all of our enquiries.
Some remarks were about the hotel lobby being on the 15th floor, but they have a dedicated entrance for taxis or cars to reach the hotel.
Bonus: if you exit through KoKuMiN Osaka Metro
Yodoyabashi Station (Exit 4) on your right is a local grocery store that sells local produce and other fruits/food products. It's cheaper to go here to buy your drinks and fruits, etc."

YYuexin IrisBefore my trip, I was torn between the InterContinental, W Hotel, Conrad, Waldorf Astoria, and The Park Hyatt, but I ended up choosing the InterContinental, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel upgraded my room, and both the view and the size were fantastic.
The hotel's location is impeccable, right above Grand Front Osaka. Stepping out, you're immediately surrounded by major shopping malls like Hankyu, Daimaru, Yodobashi Camera, Lucua, and Lucua 1100, all connected by walkways. From gourmet food to shopping and trendy brands, it was incredibly convenient.
Having such a spacious room in Japan is a rarity. Our upgraded room must have been nearly 100 square meters – incredibly roomy and practical, complete with an oven, induction cooktop, and a double-door refrigerator. The bathroom featured a bathtub and Byredo amenities; a soak with the hotel-provided bath salts instantly melted away the day's fatigue.
The breakfast buffet offered a wide array of choices, including Japanese cold dishes, Oden, and Western desserts, all with meticulous attention to detail. From the concierge to the front desk, every staff member demonstrated professionalism. At check-out, they even proactively helped load our luggage into the car and confirmed the address with the driver in Japanese. Plus, there were many staff members who spoke Chinese.
The only minor drawback was a noticeable smell of disinfectant when returning to the room each day, but it didn't detract from the overall experience at all. Whether it's for shopping, comfort, or service details, this hotel will definitely be my choice again on my next visit to Osaka!

MM41230****I booked this hotel quite last minute before my trip, and I was pleasantly surprised by how great it was. After reading some reviews, I opted for a twin room for more space, and even though it's near a main road, it was very quiet at night. The room was clean and tidy, and housekeeping came daily. The hotel offers a variety of self-service toiletries you can pick up, and a special touch I appreciated was the complimentary overnight face masks. Downstairs, there's a large AEON food supermarket, and the Shiyobashi Subway Station Exit 2 is just a short walk away. Getting to Shinsaibashi only takes a few minutes. It's incredibly convenient for getting anywhere – truly a hotel that has it all!

We have been booked 21-24nov on our first stay and we plan to travel Osaka one more time so i have booked second stay from28nov-01dec. The hotel location no deny is the best. When you get off the airport limounsine to Osaka station it only take you 2 minutes walk to the hotel. SO SO SO many shopping malls around in walking distance with good food. I plan to go again in Feb26 and plan to stay in this hotel again. This hotel very quiet which i can't here any single noise from other guest which make my stay perfect. The restaurant which this time we have tried the buffet which is amazing and must try.

MMeitounaohahahahaThis is one of the few hotels in Japan with a 12 PM checkout, which is great. There's a Christmas tree downstairs that adds a lovely atmosphere. We went to the theme park on our second day, and this hotel is the closest one to it – the entrance is right downstairs! Food options are also very convenient. I highly recommend the fried beef cutlet, it was absolutely delicious! Our clothes got soaked on the Jurassic ride, which was totally unexpected, but thankfully we could just pop back to the hotel to change. You just need to get a stamp from the staff at the entrance to re-enter the park. I hope to bring my kids here next time and will definitely stay here again!

GGuest UserHotel Granvia is in a superb location, just a few minutes’ walk to Osaka Station and Umeda Station. It takes only about 15 minutes to reach USJ and under 20 minutes to get to Namba, which makes getting around very convenient.
The room I booked was a little too small, and I regretted not choosing a bigger room as there wasn’t enough space to open my luggage comfortably. This was my own oversight when booking. The room also did not have a heater, so on colder nights I had to turn off the air-conditioning.
That said, the view from the room was awesome. My advice would be to book a larger room to enjoy the stay more fully. Overall, there are no complaints about the location.

HHok Ming KarlFrom the photos provided by the hotel, I thought the room would be small, but after checking in, I found that it was big enough to open four suitcases at the same time, and the bathroom was also spacious with a large bathtub. The lobby has a nice smell, which makes people feel relaxed. The staff is also very friendly and polite. The hotel is very friendly to self-driving tours. There is already a parking lot next to it, and the price of overnight parking is very cost-effective.

I would say quite convenient to the nearest station - sakaisuji Hommachi. But need to change to another line for main places like Osaka / dotonbori.
Overall would come back!

The location is excellent—just under a 5-minute walk from Tengachaya Station, making it easy to access public transportation. There is also direct train from Kansai Airport to Tengachaya station, without transfer - bonus point if you arrived from KIX. There’s also a 7-Eleven nearby that offers Yamato luggage delivery service, which is very handy if you're traveling with heavy bags.
The hotel operates as a fully self-service property, with no staff at the front desk. Check-in is straightforward—they’ll email you a passcode to access your mailbox, where you’ll find your room key.
Rooms are compact, as is typical in Osaka, but very clean and feel quite new. The bed has storage space underneath, which is perfect for stowing large suitcases. Amenities are basic (toothbrush, comb, shaver), and you can pick them up at the front desk area, which also has a microwave available if you want to heat up food.
One thing to note: there’s no coin laundry on-site, so if you’re staying for an extended period, plan accordingly. The room brochure mentions a luggage delivery service, but I didn’t receive a reply when I tried to contact them using provided number.
Overall, it’s a solid option for short stays—comfortable, private, and very conveniently located near transit and services.

GGrace 恩雅After staying in a cheaper APA hotel in Tokyo, my partner and I were looking forward to a higher-end stay at the Mercure in Osaka. It was... okay.
I'll start with the positives: the proximity to Dotonbori is the biggest plus. It's about a 3-minute walk to the main canal strip. The hotel is separated from the peak tourism chaos by a few streets, so it isn't too overwhelmingly busy around the hotel itself. Convenient FamilyMart and 7-Eleven options are nearby, as you'd expect. The room was clean. The Italian restaurant on the 2nd floor was also quite lovely and well-priced.
Now the negatives. First, the lighting was so dim in the hallways and the room itself that it was less ”pleasant mood lighting” and more ”I can't see anything/do my makeup.” I actually thought some of the lightbulbs were blown, but my partner pointed out they were just absurdly dim. Secondly, the door to the bathroom/shower was broken and wouldn't stay shut, so we had to use a few heavy items on the floor to keep it closed. Some of the USB outlets were also non-functioning.
Thirdly - and this may be our fault - the washer-dryer combo machine in our room (which was a big reason for us booking this hotel) was finicky to use and only had Japanese labels/instructions. The room guide on the smart TV did have some instructions, but we struggled to operate the machine regardless. Then, after we worked it out, the drying cycle shrunk and heavily wrinkled our clothes. This wouldn't be the end of the world, but the room had no iron or ironing board. You have to go to reception to hire an iron separately or use the ”iron room,” which we never saw the inside of because it was locked every time we tried the door.
None of these drawbacks were trip-ruining or anything, and in a cheaper 3-star hotel, we wouldn't be clutching our pearls about it. But because this is a pricier 4-star, internationally-known hotel brand, we expected more. Overall, the stay was not unpleasant, but it was nothing to write home about either.

GGuest UserDecent location, close to dotonbori but not stuck in the middle of it. Staff were friendly. Room was decent size, enough to store and open suitcases if needed. Room was clean except toilet seat had something sticky on it needed wiping off with soap. Bed was comfy. Door Locks were a bit awkward/noisy (tap with your hand, then with the card to unlock). Things like toothbrushes and Razer's etc were available in the lobby
Konbinis close by, main Namba train station about 15 mins walk, otherwise closer station was about 5 minutes walk.
