"I had a truly fantastic stay! The women's bathroom on the first floor has everything you could need, and the cotton swabs were especially useful. Getting water and ice was super convenient, and the washing machine and dryer were easy to use. The hotel staff (an older gentleman and woman) were also very prompt with cleaning; the bathroom sinks were always spotless. When I left for my bus at 6 AM, I already saw a gentleman cleaning the public areas. The Nankai Rapid Express is right next door, so getting to the airport in the morning was a breeze – you just step out and hop on the airport train. The Nankai Rapid Express is incredibly convenient. The hotel is also near Dobutsuen-mae Station, which makes getting around very easy. Even after a tiring evening exploring Namba, walking back to the hotel (about 2km) felt quick. As a solo female traveler to Japan, staying here felt very convenient and safe. I noticed some people exaggerating about this area being a 'poor' neighborhood, but the Japanese streets are very clean, and the hotel opens right onto a busy main road with plenty of people coming and going, so there's absolutely nothing to worry about. Some of the reviews I read earlier were really alarmist. If you're on a budget, staying here in a small room by yourself is incredibly comfortable! If I get the chance, I'll definitely come back. If you walk uphill from the hotel to the main intersection, there's a supermarket in the basement of a shopping mall that offers 50% off groceries in the evening – very affordable and delicious, great value for money! I highly recommend checking that out. Kura Sushi and Sushiro in Japan are also delicious 😋. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Shin-Imamiya South Gate exit!"

"I had a really nice stay at this hotel! It’s super convenient and comfortable. The location is great — it’s close to several train lines, near Donki, and surrounded by restaurants and convenience stores, so you’ll never go hungry. The hotel itself is clean and well-equipped with everything you need. Even though the bathrooms are shared, they’re very clean and spacious enough for multiple people to use at the same time, which was better than I expected. However, privacy in the shower area is a bit limited since it’s located on the first floor. You’ll likely run into people coming in and out of the hotel while heading to shower, which can feel a little awkward — especially if you’re not quite ready to be seen by others. I booked a triple room even though there were only two of us, and honestly, it was the perfect choice. We had plenty of space for all our shopping (which we had a lot of 😆), and it didn’t feel cramped at all. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay and would definitely consider coming back!"

"Right next to Shin-Imamiya subway station, so getting around is incredibly convenient. The front desk staff rotate, with two people on duty at a time, including locals, Chinese, Koreans, and Indians. There's a women's shower on the 4th floor, men's showers on the 6th, and a men's bathhouse and microwave on the 10th. Downstairs, there are convenience stores, pharmacies, and places to eat nearby. The room was super small, but quite clean, and they provided towels and plastic slippers. Because it's close to the train tracks, there's a bit of noise. Plus, there's some noise from motorbikes speeding by. I stayed for 3 days, and there was hardly any noise from other guests."

"This place is conveniently located near Shin-Imamiya Station, close to Nishinari's attractions. Compared to Toyoko Inn 1, the facilities here are all new and clean. Pros: 1. Surprisingly good hairdryer for its small size, provided in the room. 2. Individual air conditioning in each room, allowing for separate heating and cooling control. 3. Liquid soap, and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the showers. The shared restrooms are clean. 4. Free umbrella rental at the front desk. Cons: 1. Terrible soundproofing. I recommend bringing earplugs. Even when being careful, opening and closing the room door makes noise, meaning you're exposed to all the movements of others. 2. Awful TV internet. Just don't bother turning it on. Overall: Whether you get a good night's sleep depends on the manners of your neighbors on the floor. In my case, regardless of nationality (including Koreans), everyone was cheerfully socializing with their companions in the hallway, so I just mentally let it go. Other than that, the cleanliness, location, and facilities were all satisfactory! A private room in Japan at this price is an absolute steal."

"I arrived at 2:30 PM, but early check-in wasn't available. Still, I appreciated being able to store my luggage! I'm not sure about the exact capacity of the place I booked, but it seemed to accommodate about 20 people. There wasn't a dedicated spot for suitcases; instead, you'd use a lock and key provided at check-in to secure your bags. I liked that there were individual shoe compartments! Most importantly, the free drinks in the common area were a great bonus, and I made good use of them. The cleanliness was also impressive! Although it was a shared bathroom, the showers were individual stalls, and they were well-equipped with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a hairdryer, and even a hair straightener. Towels, however, needed to be rented. The bed assignment was given at check-in. The main issue was that the curtain for my bunk was half mesh, and even at night, the lights didn't turn off, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. I could hear everything, and it was too bright. That was my biggest disappointment. Despite that, the other facilities were good, and I had a pleasant one-night stay!"

"I stayed for a total of 13 nights. The hotel is very close to Dobutsuen-mae, which makes it extremely convenient. The room is small, but since it’s a private room, it’s perfectly fine. The room, toilet, and shower areas are clean and well maintained. Overall, I’m satisfied with my stay."

"This hotel offers great value for its price and location. The room was small but comfortable, and the cleanliness was good. The lobby on the first floor has a fantastic atmosphere with two large tables perfect for dining or chatting, and a fully equipped kitchen. They also provide free hot water and coffee downstairs. Showering is convenient; you can use the single private shower room on the first floor (I never had to wait). I also tried the hotel's public bath, which was very relaxing. The bathhouse has three showerheads and a soaking tub, and it was never crowded (the women's bath is in the adjacent hotel, connected by a corridor, and staff provide a map upon check-in). Just about 100 meters away, there's a Tamade supermarket where you can find discounted food items in the evenings, which is quite cheap. The downside is that it can be a bit noisy, as the soundproofing in the rooms is quite poor. However, I was so tired from sightseeing every day that I fell asleep right away."

"Super modern hostel, absolutely recommend it for solo female travelers! The shower area was also really cool; you sit on a stool to shower, and there aren't any individual stalls. It was pretty empty during my stay, so after showering, you could just hop into the hot spring. The temperature was perfect and super relaxing."

"This is my go-to hotel whenever I visit Osaka. The staff are incredibly friendly and I feel very safe here! Even as a solo female traveler, I've never encountered any issues. It's located just a short distance off the main road, so it's quite safe. Don't let some reviews scare you off! I've already decided to stay here again on my next trip to Osaka! "This was my first time staying here. It was easily accessible from the station, and the surrounding area was fun, with attractions like Tsutenkaku Tower. I was able to leave my large luggage in advance, and the staff were very polite and helpful. The hotel was clean, and although the amenities were minimal, they were there, which was nice. I was traveling alone, so I had a very comfortable stay. I would like to stay here again. Thank you."
