"A very pleasant experience. It's tucked away in the Dongshan area, but all the surrounding amenities are complete. The room was neat, clean, spacious, and bright. The evening buffet offered mini hot pots. The hot spring area was large, with 4-5 pools. In winter, soaking in the hot springs while enjoying the snowy scenery would be quite delightful. There's a small bus terminal right outside the hotel, which is very convenient."

"Had a really great hotel experience. The room was cleaned daily, and the hotel is surrounded by a bustling commercial area, making shopping very convenient. "Great location! It's only 350 meters from Daikokucho Station (Exit 1). You can take the red line just one stop to Namba Station, or easily take the red line to JR Tennoji Station to catch the Haruka train to the airport. There are many delicious restaurants nearby; just cross the street in front of the hotel, pass Lawson, cross another street, and walk about 200 meters. There's even a sushi place! The hotel is clean, and you can store your luggage if you arrive before check-in or if you check out early and want to explore before picking up your bags. The staff are foreign but very professional and friendly."

"The hotel's location is right on the main street of Shinsaibashi. If you turn left out of the hotel and walk for about 2 minutes down that alley, you'll reach the bridge with the famous billboards. So, the location and accessibility are really convenient. Just a short walk further is Daimaru department store and PARCO, where you can find both luxury brands and trendy labels. Walking in the other direction takes you to Namba and Takashimaya. Popular eateries like Torikizoku and Kinryu Ramen are also just a few minutes' walk away. The room is quite spacious, and I really like the style. I especially loved their bathroom, where you can shower while sitting down and also take a bath. From Takashimaya, you can take the Nankai Airport Express directly to Kansai Airport. I highly recommend taking that instead of the airport bus, as the bus can get very crowded and you might miss it."

"Booked this hotel after seeing it on Live, and the location is absolutely unbeatable. There's a station right downstairs with several lines intersecting, so you don't even need to go outside to catch a train, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The drugstores, supermarkets, and restaurants right outside are abundant, making shopping very easy. The room was clean and the bathroom was spacious enough. The staff were friendly; they even handled it well when my friend accidentally took the room key back to Tokyo. I'd definitely stay here again if I can get a reservation next time."

"We had such a nice stay here, we extended it (but on a different app). Great location in the heart of jazz clubs and easy walking distance to the Dotonbori hub, with lots of late night eating and drinking options close by. Breakfast has a really good range of Western and Japanese options, with cooked food changing daily. Be warned though, we had to contact Trip.com on check in. When they take your passport, they want to scan it to their system PERMANENTLY, which is an obvious breach of data safety protocols, and there’s no apparent reason for them to keep your data forever. After a hour of discussion, late at night, we finally sorted this out by having a photocopy stored instead (which we suggested in the first 2 mins of arrival) but it seemed they only did this because we were asking for a cancellation. It was a really unfirtunate start to an, otherwise, lovely stay. Mostly it was all terrific though, with great personal items and tea and coffee supplied. Rooms are very compact, very quiet and our last night was booked on a different app which was a bit overpriced, but all up, a great little stay with very kind staff."

GGuest UserI stayed for two nights, which was perfect after a fun day at Universal Studios Japan – I could just come back and relax. The hotel is surrounded by a bustling shopping street with plenty of restaurants and shops. I even grabbed some Sushiro takeout to enjoy back at the hotel. The room was very spacious, and I especially loved the three-part bathroom setup which was super convenient. All the bath amenities were well-stocked too. In the evenings, I could pop down to the 24-hour Lawson downstairs to buy a couple of onigiri to store in the mini-fridge. Each floor also has a microwave, so I could just heat them up before heading out the door in the morning.

XXLbaoWe stayed at The Singulari Hotel & Skyspa at Universal Studios Japan during our 4th trip to Japan and our first traveling with our auADHD toddler. This was our second hotel in Osaka, and we arrived by taxi directly from our previous hotel. Taxi tip: make sure you show the taxi driver the hotel name and address in Japanese. Our driver initially dropped us at Universal Studios Japan instead of the hotel entrance and that cost us when it showed him the Google maps address.
The hotel staff themselves were excellent. They deal with international guest on the daily and some speak English. Our forwarded luggage was received without issue and delivered directly to our room, which made arrival seamless. They have forms for luggage transport themselves that I used for our KIX airport hotel. Service throughout our stay was efficient and professional, and the staff clearly explained all hotel procedures.
The biggest advantage of this property is its location. It is about a 10-minute walk to the entrance of Universal Studios Japan, which gives you a real edge if you plan to rope drop. The subway station is directly outside the hotel entrance, making transportation extremely convenient. Universal Citywalk is steps away, with Starbucks, Lawson, Bikkuri Donki (Great for familes by the way), shopping, and countless restaurants all within immediate reach.
If you’re visiting USJ, I strongly recommend arriving at the park entrance by 7:30 a.m. We arrived around 8:30 a.m., and it made the first ride strategy noticeably more challenging. Luckily disability service helped a little as it was similar to Disney when you have to go to the Fast Pass staff to get a return time but USJ uses pen and paper. The earlier you position yourself for rope drop, the smoother your morning will be. Lines were extremely long and we were only able to see half the park. Unless you have 2 days at USJ, I recommend buying the Express pass packages as early as possible as they were all sold out the day of. Definitely a big regret as we only had 1 day there.
The onsen sauna was of an average size. After long park days, it was incredibly relaxing. The baths are separated by gender, and there are no private rentable family spaces, so that’s something to keep in mind if traveling to onsen if you are not comfortable going commando with others.
Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom felt slightly dated but it was clean and fully functional. One thing I missed was having a small kitchenette and in-room washer/dryer. Laundry is available on the spa floor via coin machines, but in-room units would have been more better.
On our second day, we made a day trip to Ghibli Park in Aichi, which took about 2.5 hours each way via Shinkansen and local transit. It’s doable but long. If your primary focus is Universal Studios Japan, this hotel is an excellent strategic base. If you plan multiple long day trips outside Osaka, you may want something more centrally located. I should have planned a day to stay at Nagoya for my Ghibli Park day.
Overall, The Singulari is ideal for travelers prioritizing proximity to Universal Studios Japan, easy transit access (but not centrally located), and post-park relaxation in a quality onsen setting.

TTristaJI had a really great stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, modern, and well-equipped. One of the best features is the in-room washing machine, which is extremely convenient, especially for longer stays.
The location is excellent, with easy access to public transportation, making it simple to explore Osaka. The staff were polite and helpful, and the overall service was great.
Everything from cleanliness to facilities exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Osaka.

GGuest UserThis hotel is conveniently location above the Main Osaka Staion. Taking the airport Haruka Lunited express is a breeze. My booking comes with ONLY a Haruka Ticket. My other family member has to go to ticket office to buy another seat with cost S$33 for one way which was speak period at that time. If I have a choice, I would rather buy from Klook which is a flat fee for all timing including reservation of seats. This hotel room is really really damn small. Even the toilet is a mini.

HHok Ming KarlFrom the photos provided by the hotel, I thought the room would be small, but after checking in, I found that it was big enough to open four suitcases at the same time, and the bathroom was also spacious with a large bathtub. The lobby has a nice smell, which makes people feel relaxed. The staff is also very friendly and polite. The hotel is very friendly to self-driving tours. There is already a parking lot next to it, and the price of overnight parking is very cost-effective.

The room was quite spacious, making it perfect for staying with family or friends. I especially liked that there was a washing machine in the bathroom, and it even came with laundry detergent—everything we needed was provided.
Although the check-out time was 10:00 AM, we requested an extension and they kindly allowed us to stay until 12:00 PM free of charge, which we really appreciated. It was truly a great choice. The place was very cozy, and the bed was large and extremely comfortable.

GGuest UserI stayed at FL Hotel Dotonbori for two nights. When I arrived at Osaka Station, I was happy that the hotel was within walking distance, so getting there was very easy.
The hotel is located slightly behind the main Dotonbori area, but it’s still close enough to walk to all the main attractions. The location is definitely convenient.
When you enter the hotel, the amenities are placed in front of the reception, so you need to pick up whatever you need from the lobby before going up to your room. They provide pajamas, slippers, and other basic amenities.
One nice thing is that they offer free breakfast every morning. It’s simple, just two pieces of bread per person and hot drinks, but it’s still a nice touch. Everything is set up in front of the reception, and you can take it back to your room.
For me, there were a few downsides. I noticed a suspicious stain on the blanket on my bed. It wasn’t on the bedsheet itself, but on the blanket, which made me feel like housekeeping may have overlooked it.
The room size is about average for Japan. I was able to fit three large suitcases in the room, but there wasn’t much walking space, so I had to step around them.

Uuuxoxo99Everything was good overall. The room has a modern theme, and the cleanliness is still very good.
The room is bigger than most hotels in Japan and we could open two big suitcases comfortably.
The location is excellent. It’s right next to the famous Shinsaibashi shopping street, and within walking distance to both Shinsaibashi Station and Namba Station. I would rate the location 100/10. There’s also a FamilyMart just opposite the hotel, which is very convenient.
The service was good and the hotel allowed us to store our luggage even after we checked out, which was really helpful.
The only thing that could be improved is the bottled water. There were only two bottles of water in the room and they were refilled daily. Because of that, we tried asking for two more bottles from the reception before heading out each day. For the first two days, the staff were happy to give them to us, but on the third day a staff member mentioned that each room could only get two bottles. It would be better if the hotel could provide more bottled water in the room or increase the limit for guests.

GGuest UserThe room is small but can open two suitcases. The public bath and spa are excellent. Close to JR station and donki. But the staff and hotel policy are terrible and I could only rate it woth adverse comment. First, at checkin the staff did not tell us the spa world could be used even after checkout, so we had no idea we could still stay to play the spa world the next day until we learnt it from other residents in the hotel. If we have learnt it earlier at checkin we might adjust our travelling plan as we checkin late at night from landing. Second,
upon checkout we asked for luggage storage service, which is very basic services of hotel, but the staff said if we were leaving and not staying for the spa, they would not keep our luggage. I am not meaning leaving Japan but I just go out from breakfast or some shopping. I have visited Japan multiple times and stayed in many hotels or residence, and this is the first one not offering luggage storage service. Please do not call this a hotel if you refuse to offer luggage storage service. Third, the hotel prohibited any slipper and every one had to walk back to rooms in bare feet after public bath, this sounds dirty while the staff was wearing slipper. Hotel could provide slippers and require resident to wear hotel slippers only. Bad experience and poor service.
