We were passing by Kunming and only needed to stay one night. The check-in and check-out process was very smooth and the room was lovely and had everything we needed. Location was the best part, the hotel was in the livelypedestrian area but was also close to the streets so we didn't have to carry our luggage far to get a Didi.

The hotel room was spotless and very quiet at night, which is a huge plus for anyone who values good sleep – highly recommend it! The front desk staff was lovely; the lady at reception paid close attention to the notes I left on Trip.com and even gave me an eye mask. The location is super convenient for transport on weekends, and dining is a breeze with all sorts of malls downstairs and the old street right next door. Breakfast was also fantastic with a great variety of choices. I'll definitely pick this hotel again next time I'm in Kunming.

One thing about booking hotels in China is that you can't usually find the name of the accommodation in English and on Google maps. And that was the main reason for choosing an international brand like Ibis (although the location on Google maps is slightly off. Location is perfect. Near to the main walking street, and just minutes away from subway station. It is about 20-30 minutes walk from Green Lake park if you prefer to be staying near there. But the park is nothing special. Room is comfortable, and like all hotels in China, very reasonable for the price. But I find the pillows too soft. Shower is strong and separated from the toilet. They even have a Japanese-style toilet 😄 Breakfast is ok only. Staff was very helpful and accommodating.

My partner and I came to Yunnan for our honeymoon during the off-peak season. The front desk lady added me on WeChat beforehand to ask about our preferences and any special requirements. The concierge even thoughtfully sent us directions to the hotel. I have to say, Kunming really has so much delicious food! It's our first time here, and it feels like we could spend several days just exploring this area. **Facilities:** The overall furnishings are quite tasteful. Although the decor and history of this place feel quite dated, you can tell a lot of effort went into it. All the furniture is made of rosewood, and it's clear that the design of the pavilions, terraces, and soft furnishings perfectly aligns with Chinese aesthetics. It's truly beautiful, as if every scene was specifically designed by a professional. There's a really, really large executive lounge that's perfect for photos – it feels more like an upscale business club. It's also great for families and friends! Every single staff member's service was truly exceptional. They enthusiastically greeted us every time they saw us 😄 It was a very, very satisfying experience!

The staff here are incredibly welcoming and helpful! They were super friendly and always ready to answer questions or solve any issues we had. I originally booked a standard room for my one-night stay, specifically requesting a clean, non-smoking room. To my surprise, they upgraded me for free! 🥰 The room was huge, beautiful, and spotless, with absolutely no smoke smell, which was a huge plus. There were three distinct seating areas: a desk for working, a two-seater area with a wall-side sofa perfect for takeout, and a comfy lounge chair on the other side, great for watching movies on the projector 🎞️. The bathroom was also sparkling clean (a germaphobe like me was thrilled!). They even provided disposable toilet seat covers, which was a nice touch. You could tell the toiletries were of high quality; my boyfriend even commented on the shiny packaging and how the toothbrush wasn't stiff and cheap like some hotel amenities (he said, 'Chinese products are really good!' 😂). The bedding was excellent too, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the surrounding area was quiet, allowing for proper rest. For anyone traveling to the high-speed rail station the next day, the location is super convenient – just a 13-minute walk! There are also plenty of food and drink options nearby. This stay was genuinely exceptional! Highly recommended! ✨

I had a great stay at this hotel, the service was very good, with friendly and helpful staff throughout my visit. The location is excellent, easy to find, and very convenient for getting around. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel was also kind enough to accommodate my request for a late check-out, which I really appreciated. Another big plus is that there are halal food options nearby, making it very convenient. Overall, a pleasant and hassle-free experience, and I would definitely stay here again.

I highly recommend this place! The hotel is located right in the city center, just a 5-minute walk to Kunming Old Street and Manping Street. Plus, the room was surprisingly quiet and very comfortable. We booked a family room for our trip, and it was perfect for traveling with kids and seniors – everyone had their own space without bothering each other. The hygiene was excellent, really clean. There are tons of food options right outside the hotel, which was super convenient. And the free parking was a real bonus – definitely a great value!

The location is fantastic, right off Exit C of Wuyi Road subway station – very noticeable. No stairs or hills to climb, which is a huge plus, as the most challenging part of getting around Kunming is often the subway transfers with all their stairs (Kunming's subway system is quite quirky!). If you have a lot of luggage, I'd recommend taking a taxi directly from Kunming Station; even with traffic, it won't take more than 20 minutes. Downstairs, there's a snack street, and a left turn leads you straight to the Flower and Bird Market and the old Nanping Street. Across the street is Kunming's CBD with all sorts of dining options. It's about a 30-minute walk to Cuihu Lake and the local market, and taxis are easily accessible from this location. Although the room faced the street and could be noisy with traffic during the day, it didn't disturb my sleep at night. Plus, I was usually out exploring during the day, so it wasn't an issue at all. The service was truly excellent. The front desk staff were lovely and gentle. There were many cleaning aunties, all of whom were friendly and greeted guests warmly. They're all very nice people. The disposable slippers were comfortable, warm, and thick. The towels were very clean, and the bottled water provided was Nongfu Spring. The bathroom layout was my favorite and the most practical I've encountered, with a spacious shower stall and plenty of hooks for clothes! The mattress was a bit too soft for someone who prefers a firm bed, but I still slept soundly these past few days. The duvet was also very comfortable. After washing clothes, the laundry service even folded them and put them in a bag for me, so I didn't have to retrieve them myself. Every morning, there was a coffee machine that ground fresh beans, and the freshly cooked rice noodles were delicious – I thought they were much better than the ones at Duanshi Xiaoguo. Upon check-out, I received a complimentary rose brown sugar souvenir, and they even offered bottled water for the road. My only complaints are that the elevator is incredibly slow, like a snail. You could probably climb the stairs faster than waiting for it. When doing makeup, the room lighting felt a bit dim, creating shadows that made it hard to see the true effect. Also, the exhaust fan button in the toilet – I'm not sure if it was just an issue with this room or if it's universal, but it didn't seem very effective, and I couldn't tell if it was even on when pressed.

The lobby is simple and cozy, and the room was very quiet. On my second day, I sprained my ankle, and the hotel provided an ice pack and wheelchair service. Ellie Xiong and Ethan Zhong enthusiastically pushed the wheelchair to take us to Dali Railway Station. I was truly touched by the hotel's service. Next time I come to Kunming, this will be my first choice, no other hotel compares! 🏖️

DDingdingAAI initially wanted to give a bad review, but I'll reluctantly give it a slightly higher rating because of the front desk staff's service attitude 😓 The room's soundproofing was really poor; the window was single-pane, and there was a busy street outside, so the traffic noise was quite loud. I didn't sleep well at all last night. I tried to contact the owner for a solution or compensation, but I couldn't reach the owner through the platform or the front desk 👍 Sisters with sleep problems should be cautious about choosing this room. I couldn't sleep at night, and in the morning I was woken up by construction outside and the noise from the bathroom sink next door, which shows that the room's soundproofing was indeed poor. (p2 is the actual sound recording) Facilities: The room size is acceptable, and the facilities are not old. Cleanliness: I didn't see any stains; it was relatively clean. Environment: It's quite close to Nanping Pedestrian Street, and Nanqiang Night Market is next door, but it's a bit of a walk from the subway station. Service: Aside from the front desk trying to find a solution but failing, the owner never showed up, which I apologized for. It's hard to give a good review.

GGuest User1. Service: Kudos to the host! The owner was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and quick to answer any questions. Location: The guesthouse is easy to find, just a short taxi ride from the Dianlong branch of China Construction Bank. The surrounding environment is quiet and comfortable. 3. Interior Design: The warm and inviting decor was immediately soothing upon entering. The pure cream color scheme was clean, tidy, and odor-free. Attention to detail was evident, showing the owner's good taste. The room had excellent natural light, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and refreshing, with plenty of hot water and complete toiletries. 4. Overall Experience: Excellent value for money, perfect for a trip with friends or a short family stay. I will definitely choose this place again next time I'm in the area. Highly recommended! 5. I personally think that choosing a suitable homestay is not easy. GGuest UserKunming Zhenshi Woyun Boutique Hotel: An Ethnic Cultural Haven Hidden in the Bustling City In Kunming, a city known for its spring-like weather all year round, finding an accommodation that offers both the pulse of the city and a sense of tranquility is no easy feat. However, the Kunming Zhenshi Woyun Boutique Hotel (Nanping Pedestrian Street, Jinma Biji Archway Branch) perfectly achieves this balance. My recent stay deeply impressed me with its meticulous attention to environmental ambiance, facility configuration, hygiene standards, and service details, making it a truly 'local' cultural journey. 1. **Ambiance: Tranquility in the Bustle, A New View with Every Step** The hotel's location is superb, nestled in the heart of the bustling Jinma Biji Archway commercial district on Dongsi Street. Just a few dozen meters walk takes you to the Jinma Biji Archway, and Nanping Pedestrian Street is only 200 meters away, with an abundance of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. The location is incredibly convenient. Yet, once you step into the hotel, the city's hustle and bustle fade away. The hotel adopts a traditional Chinese courtyard architectural style, with a meticulously designed central garden featuring flowing water and lush greenery, creating a serene atmosphere of 'mountains, water, and courtyard.' Strolling along the elevated corridors offers a new delightful view with every step. The rooftop garden on the third floor is particularly noteworthy; it's an excellent viewpoint directly facing the Jinma Biji Archway. In the evening, the sunset bathes the ancient city walls in golden light. Coupled with a cup of Pu'er tea, it's the perfect spot to savor Kunming's slow-paced life. 2. **Facilities: A Blend of Ethnic Charm and Modern Convenience** The hotel's facilities are infused with rich Yunnan ethnic charm. From the retro decor in the lobby to the artistic paintings in the corridors, and the wooden carved screens, Yi embroidery throw pillows, and bed runners in the rooms, every detail showcases the designer's ingenuity. The decorative vases in the rooms, with their ethnic characteristics, all embody an authentic Yunnan flavor. At the same time, the hotel has not overlooked the modern traveler's need for convenience. Thoughtfully provided bedside USB ports are available, along with white ceramic tea caddies containing Pu'er tea, Lincang black tea, and a Yunnan small-bean coffee set, which is more considerate than many other hotels. Some room types feature balconies with street views; the garden rooms on the top floor offer excellent views, encompassing both cityscapes and local life. Additionally, the hotel provides free parking, a laundry room, a self-service breakfast, and a complimentary DIY afternoon tea (11:00-18:00) at the second-floor lounge and lobby. While the facilities may not be extensive, they are highly practical and thoughtful. 3. **Hygiene: Spotlessly Clean, Attention to Detail** Hygiene is a crucial benchmark for hotel quality. In this regard, the Zhenshi Woyun Hotel excels. The entire hotel environment is clean and tidy, and the rooms are spotless. It's worth noting that the hotel's wet and dry separation design for towels is very user-friendly, and the towels themselves are of excellent quality, proving superior throughout my six-day Yunnan trip. The marble pattern on the vanity is beautiful. Bathrobes, bedding, and other items are all clean and tidy, ensuring a comfortable and reassuring stay. 4. **Service: Warm, Thoughtful, and Welcoming** The hotel staff's service attitude was a major highlight of my stay. From check-in to check-out, the front desk and staff were consistently warm and attentive. Regardless of how many times guests entered or exited, they would proactively greet everyone with a warm smile, making one feel incredibly welcome. They were happy to chat with guests, displaying the unique humor characteristic of Yunnan's ethnic minorities, making conversations very enjoyable. Whether it was borrowing items, having fruit delivered, or asking for recommendations for authentic local cuisine (such as wild mushroom hot pot restaurants or 'Qiaoxiangyuan' for Cross-Bridge Noodles), the front desk offered very practical advice, even sharing tips known only to locals, like recommending reliable car rental services to Dianchi Lake, Western Hills, and Longmen. This concierge-style service made me feel completely at home. In conclusion, the Kunming Zhenshi Woyun Boutique Hotel, with its unique location, culturally rich environment and facilities, high hygiene standards, and warm and thoughtful service, provides an unforgettable stay for travelers. It's not just a place to rest your head, but a 'home away from home' where you can deeply experience Kunming's urban charm and ethnic customs. If you're looking to enjoy the convenience of the city while finding inner peace and cultural immersion, this hotel is undoubtedly your best choice.

GGuest UserOur family stayed in a triple suite. The room was incredibly spacious and well-equipped, and the service was very attentive; even the headphones provided clear audio. The e-sports area featured futuristic-looking equipment beautifully contrasted with retro brick walls, creating a wonderfully unique atmosphere. The relaxation corner boasted expansive window views of the city and distant mountains, offering a cozy and romantic ambiance. The overall decor, a blend of industrial and e-sports styles, felt both comfortable and refreshingly novel.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel contacted us a day before arrival that the lift is not working and asked if we were amenable to change to another room in another building. We accepted, so this is a review of that place. It's basically ilke an Airbnb. The place is spacious but the deco looks like somebodys house. There was no running cold water. We contacted the hotel, they were responsive and told us that the management is cleaning the water tank or something like that. We couldn't use the bathroom until 10pm, which was miserable. The room was acceptably comfortable. Location is very good, near the walking street with lots of restaurant and shops. Building entrance is a bit hidden but the hotel contact provided adequate instructions.
