The most surprising B&B. Booking a room was one of the most challenging decisions during our Yunnan trip. With so many great hotels, it was hard to choose. We booked this B&B as close to home as possible, hoping to have plenty of time for our flight the next morning. We were pleasantly surprised. Although it took a while to find our way in, and the narrow alleys and paths we found ourselves in, we were quite pleasant. The couple who run the place were very welcoming, offering everything from extra blankets to luggage. They even graciously escorted us to the airport the next day. The room was elegant, facing the airport. While you could hear the roar of takeoffs and landings, it didn't affect your rest. It was quite nice, but dining nearby wasn't convenient. It would have been nice if the owner had prepared meals earlier. I didn't take any photos, but the owner's pictures are trustworthy.

This was a lovely place to spend one night before catching a flight. Lee (the owner) was very helpful and accommodating. He speaks some English which made it easier for us. He walked us to the nearest local restaurant where we had a good and very cheap meal. He also arranged for us to be taken to the airport the next day. The hotel is very new and it is clear that very good fixtures and fittings have been used to build it. The bed linen was very high quality and the mattress was very comfortable (not hard like so many mattresses in China!). When we arrived he gave us a handwritten card (with his hotel logo on it) with the breakfast menu - it was a very nice touch. Although you could hear the planes taking off/landing it wasn't overly noisy. The only complaint I had was with the cleaning and general untidiness of the place. Definitely more effort needs to be taken to keep the place clean and tidy.

The most satisfying B&B I've stayed in over the years. It has an airport pick-up service and is not far from the airport. The room is large, and the view of the courtyard outside the floor-to-ceiling windows is breathtaking. My child and I have been traveling for more than 20 days and are very tired. We slept until after 10 o'clock in the morning and didn't expect to have breakfast. Unexpectedly, after seeing us get up, the aunt took the initiative to ask if there was any breakfast left and asked if I wanted a bowl of rice noodles. I was really touched. We had barbecue takeout in the yard in the evening, and the boss boiled hot water for us. In the morning, while we were waiting for the car in the yard, the aunt brought us a plate of fruit. It was really thoughtful and enthusiastic. This enthusiasm is not for business, but more of a simple and warm heart. Coming here doesn't feel like staying in a hotel, but more like visiting an old friend's home. I will choose to come here again next time I have the chance.

The kitchen is open for gatherings and barbecues with friends, and you can even buy a chicken from the owner's own farm. It's incredibly comfortable and has a homey feel. I'm so satisfied! I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Meisuosi Village, Qihe Town, Lijiang. The location is very convenient, close to the airport, and they offer free car parking. Breakfast was included and tasty, with a good variety to start the day. The area is very quiet, perfect for a peaceful night’s sleep. The staff here are amazing. They helped carry our suitcase up to the second floor, and we really loved the boss—she was so kind and helpful. There is also an elderly gentleman whose warmth reminded me of my own father. He even shared fresh fruits from a small farm near the hotel, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Overall, this is not just a place to stay, but a place where you feel truly cared for. Highly recommended! I was going to catch a Lijiang plane the next morning after hiking on the north slope of Meili. I also saw this decoration style in Trip.com . The result was more value-for-money after living. First of all, the decoration in the courtyard is very careful, and the garden art is arranged. The boss himself learned about architecture and said that he had been groping for 2 years to make it. The turf is real, many potted plants are dug on his own mountain, and there are 20 years. Be careful than all the inns around! ! ! Secondly, the room was cleaned and very warm. For example, there are disposable towels. Because the day of check-in was the Mid-Autumn Festival, the boss family also invited us to enjoy the moon and eat our local heart food. Traveling in Yunnan, I had an early morning flight home, so I blindly picked a guesthouse on Ctrip based on its proximity to the airport. I just wanted a temporary place to crash, figured 'good enough' would do. But wow, the value for money for under a hundred yuan was incredible! The courtyard was very tastefully arranged, and the room itself was a decent size. There was 24-hour hot water and a dry/wet separation in the bathroom. The bath towels and face towels were all disposable, which was reassuring. Because of our 7 AM flight, the owner drove us to the airport in his Audi Q5 at 5:30 AM. The car was spotless, and the drive only took less than 5 minutes. The guesthouse sold instant noodles, oxygen tanks, and drinks. There were also quite a few eateries at the village entrance, about a 3-minute walk away. Plus a supermarket and fruit stand. However, the food wasn't very good, and it was quite expensive. Dishes with meat were 40-50 yuan, while vegetable dishes like shredded potatoes were around 20 yuan.
