Macau Taipa Hotels

The hotel's location is quite remote. At check-out, there were a lot of people waiting for transportation. There aren't many special food options nearby. The infinity pool, which was advertised as being available, was closed for maintenance. Staff on-site said it would be closed for a week because of broken tiles. This was extremely disappointing. I chose a room with a racecourse view, but it turns out the Macau Racecourse has been abandoned and closed since 2024. The room itself was quite clean and well-designed, though. It has a bathtub for soaking. For around a thousand dollars, it's neither particularly good nor bad.

Whenever I visit Macau, I always stay at Altira Macau. It's conveniently located with many restaurants nearby and even a small mall. The rooms are spacious, and every room offers a view of the Grand Lisboa Hotel on the Macau Peninsula. This was my first time trying the breakfast package, and it was lovely enjoying a delicious breakfast in my room with that view. The room service staff were very polite. This is my top choice for hotels in Macau, and all the staff provide five-star service. It's also the perfect hotel for watching the New Year's Eve fireworks, but unfortunately, it's always impossible to book a room for December 31st.

The hotel's location is excellent; the bus stop is just a few dozen meters away, and the light rail station is also very close, making it an ideal choice for traveling with children. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and the rooms are spacious. There's also a free shuttle bus directly to The Venetian.

The room was quite clean and the location was good. It's not far from the bus stop and light rail, and there are many places to eat downstairs, plus a supermarket. It's in a residential area, and they even offer free luggage storage. Overall, the hotel is pretty good.

The best choice for staying in Taipa when visiting Macau. I was initially worried the hotel wouldn't be good, so I tried it for two days. After being satisfied, I extended for another two. The hotel environment is comfortable, the rooms are clean, and there's a wide variety of dining options nearby. The handsome supervisor and friendly front desk lady were very kind and helpful, and we even got an upgraded room. Our whole family unanimously decided that we'll be staying here every time we come to Macau from now on!

Overall, my stay was quite good. The hotel is centrally located in Taipa, within walking distance to Rua do Cunha, with easy access to public transport and dining options nearby. The room design has an artistic touch, it was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable to stay in. The only downside was the front desk service: during check-in, I encountered a female staff member with darker skin who was wearing headphones. When I asked her a question, she gave a perfunctory reply and her tone was impatient, which really soured my first impression. I hope the hotel can strengthen its training for front desk staff regarding service standards. Everything else was satisfactory, and the value for money was decent.

Stayed for one night during a layover. Wouldn't recommend it for a regular stay. Paying over 400 RMB just to sleep felt a bit overpriced, especially considering the hotel is a bit dated. For dining and entertainment, you'd be better off heading to the Peninsula or Cotai. The lobby is beautiful, and the elevator halls and corridors exude taste. Service was good, but the room felt damp and overlooked the sea and runway. The biggest advantage is its extreme convenience for early morning flights.

It is a really old hotel and it has been renovated in sometime, but the thing that makes this place of steel is the attached resort. A great find if you're looking to relax and get away from the over air-conditioned adult oriented pressure cooker of the casinos on the strip. The breakfast buffet offers a little bit of everything including Western favourites, Chinese items and even some Indian choices.

This is my nth time staying at the Grand View Hotel. I requested a room with a view of the airplanes, and the front desk was very helpful in changing it for me. It's super convenient for getting takeout and transportation is great. The room is small, but it has everything you need.

Pleasantly surprised at how well located the Asia Boutique is with easy walk to both the Galaxy and The Venetian, No.146 Rua Correia Da Silva, Taipa, Macau, China. A warm welcome and helpful assistance were given by the reception staff. The room was clean and while a tight fit it was great value. Being I was travelling on my own and just needed a clean room bed and bathroom, in a convenient location, this fit the bill perfectly. From Taipa ferry terminal only Pataca (MOP) I will use this hotel again. Only 150 meters from the streetscape photos here in my review.
