"The rooms and hotel amenties are as expected because is holiday inn ”express” . The service response is fast from the frontdesk. However, room cleanliness is very much lacking 1. There was a plastic wrapper and chuck of dust dirt at corner of room when I check in. The following day after cleanup was done and I return to room in late afternoon. Wrapper and dust remains untouch at corner. I have to call the front desk to ensure following day cleaning team will vaccum and do a proper clean up. 2. Air vent above the shower area was filled and clot up with black dirt. I just avoid looking at it as disgusting 3. There are dead insects stuck on the shower door rubber strip. I tried to wash it away but as need to pull out the seal I left it and again avoid eye contact.🤮 4. Pillow case has brown stains at ths edge. I had to request for a new piece. Additionally the mattress has dents and clumpy, so I was unable to sleep as feeling itchy through out night with images of dirt insects flashing through my thoughts. Coupled with the loud music and noises from below. I reserve the rooms more than 3 months before trip and request for high floor as saw reviews on the noise. BUT was not block for us so end up on the 2nd floor. I wont stay in this hotel again. Basics facilities is ok but cleanliness is very important"

"Really welcoming and friendly staff who were eager to help wherever they could. We arrived here at the end of our trip from Melbourne along the Great Ocean Road to Adelaide, so the comfort was very much appreciated after spending nights sleeping and living in a campervan. The hostel itself is very clean and maintained. There are multiple TV rooms, a massive chill-out area, and bathrooms that feel more like a hotel than a hostel. We booked a private room with shared bathroom. The room was a good size, with a balcony, a desk, and 2 large, comfortable double bed. It was also air-conditioned. The kitchen is large and well equipped, with multiple fridges and stovetops, as well as a microwave, cleaning products, and recycling facilities. The only downside is that some guests could be tidier and put their things away after washing up / cooking. The location is excellent — right in the centre of the city. You can walk everywhere: the bus station, supermarkets, China/Asian town, restaurants, and Adelaide Central Market are all just minutes away. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here and would happily stay again."

The Hotel Windsor, Melbourne (Worst value for money) The Park Hyatt Melbourne stood out as having the best service among all 11 hotels. We arrived around 5:00 PM and were informed our room wasn't quite ready, requiring a 10-15 minute wait. Before I could even react, the front desk staff immediately offered complimentary breakfast for the next day as an apology, along with a voucher for two drinks at the lobby bar while we waited. Of course, we happily accepted! The hotel's location is a little outside the very center, situated behind Parliament House and right next to St. Patrick's Cathedral, which you can see from the rooms. Fitzroy Gardens, home to Cook's Cottage, is also within walking distance and worth a visit. I was very impressed with the hotel's amenities. The room even had a three-prong power outlet, a feature I didn't find in any other hotel. The 'old money' decor gave it a grounded and understated elegance. Breakfast was excellent and very extensive, with freshly made Western pastries that were incredibly delicious. I heard their flat white is even better than those from popular specialty coffee shops. The heated pool was long and narrow, feeling like it was definitely more than 25 meters. There's also a tennis court available for A$50 an hour, though you need to bring your own racket."

"Great hotel, pool wasn’t that warm when me and my partner stayed so it wasn’t that enjoyable. It was also quite small more of a lap pool than anything. Our fan above the shower was quite dusty they sent someone in the room to clean it when we left and they did. Claimed that the fans are cleaned weekly but I beg to differ. The room was quite small for the price as well our sink had to be closed almost the whole time because it stunk out the room so badly. Didn’t get that well or a view from our room either. Beds are comfy and feel good. Shower was great we didn’t have a bath in our room. Overall I wouldn’t spend that much for that room again cause it wasn’t that worth it"

"Got a free room upgrade, and it was the biggest room I've had on this Australia trip. The location is great, right at the entrance to Chinatown, with tons of dining and shopping options nearby. The only downside is the parking. The hotel's paid parking lot is quite a distance away, so I had to park there and it was a hassle getting back and forth to the hotel. Valet parking also required a wait. There are some paid 3-hour parking spots on either side of the hotel that become free after 9:00 PM, but you have to get lucky to snag one."

"I had a very good experience at this hotel. The room and overall environment were exceptionally clean, which really stood out and made the stay feel comfortable and pleasant. The staff were friendly and professional, and the service overall was great. I also appreciated the free parking — that’s always a big plus. The hotel offers a laundry service, which I used. It costs extra, but it was convenient and worked well. There was a swimming pool available, though unfortunately it was too cold to use during winter — something to keep in mind if you're visiting in colder months. Overall, it was a very good stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others."

"Centrally located, check-in only required a credit card number, no deposit was held. The room and bathroom were spacious, and the windows could be opened. The bed was clean and comfortable. The room was equipped with a kettle, refrigerator, hairdryer, air conditioning, shampoo, and body wash. There were also complimentary coffee sachets, tea, and milk. The free WiFi worked well."

"This hotel is located in the heart of Adelaide, South Australia's capital. While it's not a five-star, it's definitely a top-tier four-star. The location is excellent, with a McDonald's right across the street and major supermarkets like Coles nearby. It offers fantastic value for money, especially during holidays. There's also a gym and a swimming pool on the first floor of the hotel."

"We extended our stay for another day and were very satisfied with the hotel's excellent service. From the front desk to the housekeeping staff, everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. As seniors, we truly appreciate all the young men and women who assisted us. A big thank you to everyone, and we will definitely stay at Pullman Hotel again next time."
