"The room has central air conditioning, but at this time of year, it's not turned on, so the room felt a bit stuffy. The noise from the fan outside the window was very loud, making it too noisy to open the window for ventilation. Breakfast was very mediocre; don't waste $18 on it. You'd be better off walking about 200m to the right of Grosvenor Hotel Adelaide by Accor to a beef noodle shop. The shower facilities were pretty good, with strong water pressure and easy temperature adjustment. The laundry room at Grosvenor Hotel Adelaide by Accor is practically non-existent, with old coin-operated washing machines."

"The location is definitely the biggest plus – right in the middle of the CBD and within walking distance of pretty much everything. That said, the downside is the noise. The hotel is on Hindley Street, so if you’re staying on a Friday or Saturday night, expect to be woken up by people shouting outside. I stayed on the top (4th) floor and could still hear everything, so I can only imagine what the lower floors are like. The building is very old and the windows offer almost no sound insulation. The rooms are also very dated. There’s nothing modern about them, and the furniture and fittings show obvious signs of wear and tear. The shower was another frustration. It takes around 10 minutes to get the water temperature right, and even then it keeps changing between very hot and cold while you’re showering. Overall, I don’t think it’s worth paying around $100 per night. During my stay in Adelaide, I found much better hotels for only $10–20 more per night. If your priority is location and you’re not bothered by noise or older facilities, it might suit you. Otherwise, I’d recommend spending a little extra for a much better experience."

"As the cheapest non-dorm room available in central Adelaide, I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel has history and character. The staff were very friendly and helpful; the food was good and the range of beer was great. The room was a bit basic, but hey, it’s a place to get your head down for the night. The washrooms are shared, but no hotel from that period will have en-suites. The water ran hot in the showers, just if you’re tall like me, be prepared to contort if you want to get under the stream of water to wash your hair!!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Mantra Meridien Adelaide. There was plenty of parking, the reception area is lovely, and check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was spacious, spotless, and had a balcony with a nice street view. The location is excellent — very close to the CBD, restaurants and cafés, which made getting around easy. Overall, we had a great experience. On our last night there was some noise from neighbouring guests, which was outside the hotel’s control. Other than that, everything was excellent, and we would definitely stay here again."

Fancy to book here as reviews are limited online that means this place is relatively new - up to the point that the lobby and reception are temporary. Thanks to Matthew who has been trying hard to facilitate our requests, such as extra vacuum cleaning when we found lots of food debris under the sofa, and also extra touch with the lose toilet seat etc. Sorry for those who stays in room 1208 - my partner used the oven and left some bread crumbs in it. In short, I think the cleanliness can be improved if the housekeeper of the floor can double check the utensils and nearly missed area. Otherwise thanks to the staff and I hope when I can back next time after April 26 the swimming pool would be ready to use. Thanks again

Location of the hotel is great, have supermarket and restaurant nearby with walking distance. I do enjoy the stay given the price of it, it's acceptable. However, 2 light bulbs not working in the room, we let the staff know, and the staff only say: sorry, I couldn't change the light bulb, maintenance staff is working tomorrow only. I do understand that, but, maybe he could go and check if there is any room available for us to be moved to instead of just leaving the room like that.

I have stay at the Links hotel quite often without any issues, but this time was different. I booked through a booking website for 2 adults and 3 children, for 2 nights. First night was ok, came back 2nd day after going out for a while, aircon had been turned off, cleaners came in when we asked them not to, made 2 beds and left the double bed, didn’t clean anything at all and only left 2 towels. When I questioned the receptionist she said I only booked for 2 people for the 2nd night. And she was quite rude , yet I had confirmation on my phone otherwise. The booking company sent thru only 2 people for 2nd night. They got it wrong and I had no apology from her or any explanation of why the room was “cleaned “ like that . I’m not happy about it and doubt I’ll stay there again! 😡

The environment of the room number is quite satisfactory in all aspects, but it is quite speechless, that is, I went there and told me that the Internet is not available, and the signal in the room is very poor. My own network can not be used, and the signal is too bad And the front desk is not there, you have to walk to find another place to see it There is a deposit of 1 yuan at the front desk. There are two room cards in total. One is to provide electricity and the other is to take with you when you go out. The most speechless thing is that the internet is unavailable and the signal in the room is very poor

It’s an excellent place to stay with friends or family — conveniently located with plenty of parking available. The overall experience was comfortable and good value for the money. However, the cleanliness could be improved a little to make the stay even better. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.
