"This hotel is really cozy! In the lobby, they offer a variety of complimentary fruits and snacks, and there are sofas if you need to rest. You can even try on traditional floral cotton-padded jackets for a fun photo op. The staff at check-in were very polite. Since I'm a light sleeper, they thoughtfully assigned me a room not facing the street, and it was genuinely quiet. I slept soundly for both nights. They even gave me a heads-up that if guests in an adjacent room were noisy, I could contact them, and they'd handle it. The room had good heating and was very clean. The carpeted floor made walking super quiet. Plus, they offer free water refills – just go to the front desk when you've finished yours. The location is excellent, very close to Central Street and the subway station, making transportation really convenient. When I checked out, they even gave me a farewell gift. It was truly heartwarming, felt just like coming home!"

"If you're driving, I'd recommend taking the exit at Songbei (unless you want to photograph the start of G1), even though it's further, it avoids most of the city traffic, reducing the chance of getting stuck. The hotel environment is top-notch, and parking isn't an issue. You check in at the South Gate reception, and the North Gate leads directly to the south entrance/exit of the Harbin Ice and Snow World, about a 10-minute walk depending on your pace. It's very close to the Ferris wheel and the big stage, and I believe it's not far from the subway station either. Cleanliness is a given and was excellent. The room facilities are comprehensive. When ordering takeout, be aware of potential delays; in my case, there were no delivery riders available. I'm not sure if this was an isolated incident or a common problem. During the Ice and Snow Festival, room prices double, but for convenience, it's an excellent choice.

"Yiyi Homestay is the best I've ever stayed at. The front desk staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming; they even stored our luggage for free. The location is perfect – just a few steps from Daoli Market (a morning and evening food street), and St. Sophia Cathedral and Central Street aren't far either. There's also the New 100 Mall, an underground shopping area, Yibinzhi Home downstairs, and the KFC next door is a must-try (coming from a Malaysian baby 👶)! If you're still cold, don't be shy to ask for a heater. They even offer to lend money if your WeChat Pay runs out – I'm so grateful for Ruoyi's incredible service! The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable, just as pictured, with city views from the window, including St. Sophia Cathedral, which is stunning at night. You'll never be short of places to eat. Diagonally opposite the Central Street subway 🚇, there are many fruit stalls with fresh selections. Across from the fruit stall, there's an underground eatery – I highly recommend the black rice porridge for only RMB 3, along with other authentic local delicacies at great prices."

"The room was warm enough despite the temperature outside is freezing cold at lowest -27 during our stay. They said there is only 1 family suite each floor, so the view with St Sophia Cathedral is guaranteed.
There is 1 bed right after the entrance (i call it the living room with bed), and another 1 bed inside the bedroom.
There is only 1 toilet / shower room - which is at the living room.
There is no table or coffee table to eat together with family.
The room overall has plenty of space but lack of proper furnitures."

"I booked a loft family room. My family and I stayed at the McLaren Hotel on the afternoon of the 19th after returning from Xuexiang, as we had a 6:30 AM flight on the 20th. As soon as we entered the hotel, we were incredibly satisfied. First, it was very clean. The receptionist who checked us in was very gentle, and she arranged our room on the first floor. She also helped us register for the 5 AM airport shuttle service for the next morning. Once we entered the room, with its two levels, my kids were absolutely thrilled and found it very novel. My mother was also very pleased with the room layout and especially with its cleanliness, praising it highly. It's a shame our stay was so short; my kids hadn't had enough of it! The two levels are completely separate, which is great! The receptionist on duty on the morning of the 20th and the shuttle driver were very professional and had excellent attitudes. The hotel is only a 3-minute drive from the airport—super fast! This stay left us with a fantastic impression.
My only minor complaint is that the shower drain was a bit slow; I'd suggest some maintenance."

"Room, location and service were fantastic. The room was very large , has what we need, they had complimentary everything .. bed was comfortable, hotel has good meals available & cocktails/bar (lack of those everywhere).
Close to the Chocolate Castle, you can catch a cable car to or from Sun island or subway as well, its close ( line 2) hotel is near line 3. The ice and snow world was a highlight and best transport is subway ( line 2) . We walked 8mins to the line 2 subway and then switched for line 3 on way back.
Central street is also close by for the delicious massive icecreams . Harbin was amazing !"

__WeChat37292****Every day since leaving Xinfu, I've been missing the sledding hill behind the lodge (it was free and unlimited!).
The owner even helps guests take photoshoots like 'splashing water into ice' (he took three amazing shots for me 😎) and 'glowing with colors.' He's an incredibly skilled photographer, and those pictures instantly elevated my social media game. They also organized a session where we all made candied hawthorns together. As an extrovert, being able to chat with everyone like that was just so enjoyable!
The owner also led the trip to Wusong Ridge, keeping us entertained, taking photos, and even teaching us how to ski along the way. As someone from the south, I truly got to experience the thrill of playing wildly in the snow!
And of course, the accommodation itself was very unique, with a traditional heated *kang* bed, ensuring a deep sleep until morning. Waking up to hot porridge in the morning was just heavenly!

The room facilities are complete, with a well-functioning water heater and reliable Wi-Fi, making it easy to stream videos and upload photos without issues. The owner is a fantastic cook; their authentic Northeastern dishes like Stewed Chicken with Mushrooms, Di San Xian (stir-fried potato, pepper, and eggplant), and Guo Bao Rou (sweet and sour pork) were incredibly delicious, generously portioned, and affordable. They also provide free snow tubes, shovels, and other snow play tools, saving us the cost of rentals. The soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a quiet night's sleep to recharge. The owner even helped us book our return tickets, taking away any worries. It was a comfortable and stress-free stay, definitely the best value for money in Snow Valley!

It was exceptionally clean and very quiet, allowing me to finally get a much-needed good night's sleep. Thank you! I'll definitely be back. Given that Mudanjiang airport is currently under expansion and I was heading to Harbin, this hotel's proximity to the airport was perfect. Plus, they offer complimentary airport pickup and drop-off, which is truly excellent!

GGuest UserWe had a really lovely stay here! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. The location is great too—close to recreational areas and some beautiful parks that are perfect for taking photos. Breakfast was nice and simple, just what we needed to start the day.
One small thing to note: the hot water for the shower and bathroom can run out if several people bathe in a row, so the next person might need to wait a bit for it to heat up again. It wasn’t a big issue, but good to keep in mind.
A special highlight of our trip was meeting the driver. He was incredibly kind—he picked us up and dropped us off at the station, and even took us to several places around the area. He also recommended some great local restaurants for lunch. His warm hospitality truly made our stay extra memorable.
