"Big spacious room near Zhongyang Da Jie (中央大街）。 It is also near the airport shuttle bus no 3 from airport. To airport same location opposite street.
Room is adequately warm (controllable) despite the -20 deg Celsius out there.
Staff are very attentive, saw my face having a cut from shaving gave me tissue and cotton butt with iodine.
If you intend to order delivery using Alipay mini widget use 吃了吗, it does not requires local number. Hotel uses a robot to deliver to your room! Interesting!
Metro station on metro line 2 is just few streets away and it’s lead you to metro station on same line - 冰雪大世界 event.
It’s a few streets away from famous landmarks like St. Sophia Church and near that is the popular 衣彬之家 where it sells very affordable and good winter wear!

"The room was quite spacious and the decor felt pretty good. Considering the price, it offered excellent value for money. The hotel's location was also convenient; Hagia Sophia was only about a 7-8 minute walk away. The toilet and shower were in separate rooms, and the bathroom itself was quite large. However, there was a noticeable gap between the waterproof strip on the shower door and the wall, letting in a draft and making it a bit cold when showering. This could definitely be improved."

"The Habsburg Hotel is conveniently located. The front desk staff who checked us in noticed we were sensitive to the cold and thoughtfully provided heated knee pads and hand warmers, which instantly made us feel cozy. The hotel heating was excellent; wearing short sleeves in the room was perfectly fine. The room also had two humidifiers to increase moisture. The hotel isn't far from the Red Brick Morning Market, so we could visit the market and still come back to the hotel to rest. Overall, a great hotel with a comfortable stay."

"Excellent location. Harbin Railway Station is a convenient 10-minute walk via Jingxiao Street, and St. Iver Church and the Orphanage are right next door. Subway Line 2 is just a 5-minute walk away. Central Street and Saint Sophia Cathedral are a pleasant 20-minute-plus stroll, perfect for an after-dinner walk. Inside, the rain shower offered excellent water pressure, the pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the TV even had a sleep timer. For an even more perfect stay, I'd suggest a hairdryer that doesn't require constant button-holding and the removal of the deposit requirement."

"The absolute highlight of this hotel is its incredibly convenient location! The subway and direct shuttle buses are all nearby, and getting a taxi is quick and easy. It was especially great to take a direct shuttle from the Ice and Snow World back to Central Street, and then it was just a short walk back to the hotel.
Seriously, don't sacrifice convenience for a slightly larger room or subway access when choosing a hotel. In the freezing cold of Harbin, even a 10-minute walk can feel impossible. At least the roads around Central Street are cleared of snow and not slippery.
Next up, the service at this hotel is truly outstanding. The front desk staff are all super enthusiastic and always provide attentive service. There are also various snacks and fruits available 24/7 for guests to help themselves to.
Regarding soundproofing, the room type I stayed in was very quiet, with no noise at all. Although it was a bit small, it was perfectly sufficient for one person."

"The hotel's afternoon tea was a highlight; the milk tea was delicious, and the Western-style pastries, yogurt, and desserts were all commendable. The room was a bit small but clean, with a Russian architectural style. The faucet was incredibly high (I'm 168cm, which is quite tall for a southerner, but I still couldn't reach the drying line in the bathroom – surprising for a Russian-style building with not-so-large rooms). The indoor heating definitely made you forget the outdoor cold. Recommended: It's very close to Metro Line 2 (3 stops to Harbin Ice and Snow World, Central Street, and Hongzhuan Morning Market are just a short walk away). There are plenty of BBQ joints and traditional pork stew restaurants nearby. It would be helpful to have two room cards for guests returning late at night. The service felt a bit robotic, understandable given the high foot traffic in the commercial area, which can lead to service fatigue. I'd still recommend this hotel for first-time visitors to Harbin, but the service needs to catch up with the room rates."

Giving it a good review because:
1. The front desk service was genuinely excellent. Out of the 27 nights we spent in hotels during our trip to China, spanning Chengdu, Chongqing, Zhangjiajie, Changsha, Harbin, Yanji, Changbaishan, and Xuegu, I honestly think this hotel had the best front desk service!
Every staff member at the front desk was fantastic. If I could, I'd write down all their names. When we checked in, the front desk staff (whose names I didn't get) helped me carry my luggage (which was very heavy). When we checked out, Ms. Guo also proactively helped me with my luggage. The service was excellent. Ms. Yan at the front desk was also very good.
Auntie Yan, who handled the cleaning, provided great service; she was always friendly, greeting us and asking how we were.
2. The room was spacious and had a sofa, making it very comfortable and convenient. The hot shower was also very relaxing.
3. On my floor, there were two washing machines and two dryers, which was very convenient for doing laundry.
There are many places to eat downstairs. Recommendation: There's a ”Nanjing Soup Dumpling Noodle Restaurant” nearby. The name of the shop is Yuan Xiang Ju (please see the pictures for the exact name). The owner is very friendly, and the food is delicious and affordable. They have soup dumplings, noodles, and more."

"This hotel is the top choice if you're visiting the Harbin Ice and Snow World. The location is absolutely perfect; no more enduring the pain of being exhausted after a full day of fun and still having to take a taxi back to the hotel.
The hotel itself is really big, with a vintage decor and dim lighting. To be honest, walking around alone in the hotel felt a bit spooky 😨. Another thing is, because the hotel is so huge, and you're utterly drained after a day at Ice and Snow World, the next morning, dragging your tired, aching body across the carpet just to get breakfast feels like an impossible task. Plus, the restaurant is genuinely quite a trek from the guest rooms. It's utterly exhausting! 😩"

MM1s3n3ckn****This was my first time visiting Xuegu with my mom, and we stayed at this inn. The environment was great, with a strong Northeastern charm. The owners provided excellent service. The next day, when we went to Wusong Ridge to play in the snow, the owner accompanied us the whole time, taking photos and even teaching us how to ski for free. If we had gone on our own, hiring an instructor at the ski resort would have cost several hundred yuan. The owner was very patient and professional with the photos, allowing me to fully enjoy myself. There were also evening activities at the inn, where the owner would film a 'water splashing into ice' video for us for free, a service that costs money in Xuexiang. We even bought Wuchang rice from them. Overall, I highly recommend this inn for anyone visiting Xuegu. I've already recommended it to my family and friends.

The smart curtains and 'sleep aid' mode were a thoughtful touch. The location is great, close to both the beach and the old city, making getting around super convenient. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the service was warm and attentive. Excellent value for money – definitely the place to stay when you're in Xingcheng!

The guesthouse offers a free breakfast with a rich variety of porridge, steamed buns, eggs, and pickles, providing a balanced and nutritious start to the day. RRace: ChineseVery good experience. There's complimentary afternoon tea 2pm-4pm with cake and supper 9pm-10:30pm have porridge. I was given a free upgrade to deluxe twin room as I needed a room near to washer room and lift. The staff helps guest to carry luggage up to room and down the stairs when checking out. Staff also helps to carry luggage to taxi. It's just 5 mins walk (300m) away from 中央大街 and also 15 mins walk (1.1km). Breakfast is delicious and suitable for those who do not eat pork. I will come back here stay again next time when visiting harbin.

NNatDiscoversAsiaI recently stayed at this business hotel in Harbin for two nights, booking the most economical option - the Comfy Queen room. Going in, I understood this was a basic, no-frills accommodation, and I was prepared for that level of service. However, several significant issues made this stay far more frustrating than it needed to be.
The cheapest tier comes without a window, which I had accepted when booking. What the hotel failed to mention anywhere in the listing is that these budget rooms are located on the 8th floor, but the elevator only goes up to the 7th floor. This means every check in and out requires climbing a TWO full flight of stairs with your luggage. Had I known this critical detail upfront, I would have either chosen a more expensive room or, more likely, selected a different hotel entirely. This information should be clearly disclosed during booking, as it’s a significant accessibility and convenience issue, especially for travelers with heavy bags or mobility concerns.
The most irritating incident occurred on my second night. After spending the day exploring Harbin in freezing temperatures, exhausted and literally frozen solid, I returned to find my room key card had been deactivated. This meant I had to climb down the stairs from the 8th floor, take the elevator down from the 7th floor to reception, wait while staff sorted out their mistake, then reverse the entire journey - elevator up to 7th, stairs up to 8th. This was completely avoidable and purely the result of careless staff work. When you’re already cold and tired, being forced to make this unnecessary journey because of administrative incompetence is genuinely maddening.
Adding insult to injury, I discovered after my stay that there are much better hotel options directly at the metro and high-speed rail (HSR) exits. These alternatives offer superior convenience without the stair-climbing requirement as I’ve stayed in some of those chains before.. The location of this hotel doesn’t offer any particular advantages to compensate for its drawbacks, making the choice to stay here even more regrettable.
For my next trip to Harbin, I’ll be choosing one of the hotels that are closer to HSR or metro exits. Unless you specifically need to be in this exact location and are booking a higher-tier room with elevator access, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere if the cost difference is not much. There are simply better value options available that won’t leave you climbing stairs multiple times a day or dealing with preventable administrative hassles.

The room was very clean and quiet, and the bathroom was spacious. The housekeeping staff were also very responsible. Since rentals are included in the stay, we spent a fair amount of time with them, and they are truly world-class. They don’t just hand you gear; they perform thorough safety checks, ensure a perfect fit, and offer genuine tips for the slopes. They made our trip seamless and safe. Unfortunately, the hotel itself doesn't live up to that same standard. The hallways are dimly lit and poorly ventilated, a theme that continues into the rooms. The biggest issue was the bathroom, a persistent, foul sewage smell made us feel like we are using a public toilet that has not been cleaned for years. If this is 5 star standard, i'm afraid they have to do much much better.
To top it off, the reception staff felt poorly trained. Despite having plenty of people behind the desk, no one could answer basic questions about local attractions, slope openings, or even help us arrange a driver for dinner around the area. For the price point, they should think of how they can justify their service other than having a world class and helpful ski rental management team.
