"The location is superb, right by the airport, so I could just head out of the hotel and check in for my flight. As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe. The place was very clean, and the front desk staff was so welcoming. I got a bit lost and called them, and they patiently guided me. "For those of you who don’t want to bring winter attire from your country and plan to buy them in Harbin, you should definitely stay at this hotel. You can take a Didi directly to the hotel, drop off your luggage, and head downstairs to buy your winter essentials.
Like me, I came here wearing just sport shoes and was able to buy really cheap winter shoes right away. This means you don’t need to walk around outside searching for what you need, and you don’t have to worry about your clothes being too thin for the cold. You don’t even need to bring full winter gear to feel safe and comfortable.
Just make sure to take a Didi to the hotel—the fare is really cheap. The location is super strategic, the host is very kind and helpful, and the shopping center for winter clothes is literally less than a two-minute walk away!"

"The facilities at Matryoshka Hotel are quite complete, and the rooms are very clean and hygienic. I booked a 5-day stay directly through Ctrip, and it was very comfortable. My friends from the South found it a bit dry, so remember to bring a humidifier 😊.
I really like the decor style of the hotel; it has a strong Russian flair. Plus, it's very close to nearby attractions, right at the entrance of Central Street~! 💁🏻♀️

"The room was quite clean, and the bed was huge. Overall, the hotel provided excellent service. The pillows were especially comfortable! It's also very close to Central Street and the morning market, so walking around is super convenient. The only downside is that the underfloor heating in the room gets really, really hot. I woke up drenched in sweat after sleeping, which is tough for someone from the south to handle – it was so hot I couldn't even sleep well! 😂 Next time I visit, I'd love to experience the hospitality of Harbin people again. 👍🏻"

"I had such a great experience at Mudong Youth Hostel in Harbin! The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything you need. They create such a warm and positive atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away.
What I really loved is that it’s also a very good workplace environment. The space is comfortable, well-organized, and perfect if you need to get things done while traveling. It’s quiet enough to focus, yet still has that nice social hostel vibe.
Overall, a great place to stay in Harbin — friendly people, good energy, and a productive environment. I would definitely stay here again!"

MM41576****My friend decided to visit Harbin on a whim and unintentionally booked the Melbourne Homestay. The environment, cleanliness, and facilities were surprisingly excellent. It's a 10-minute walk to the Chinese Baroque Museum; a 10-minute taxi ride to the Flood Control Monument, Central Street, and St. Sophia Cathedral; and the subway station is right downstairs, making transportation incredibly convenient. The ambiance is warm-toned, the appliances and amenities are complete, and the room is exceptionally clean, making it very comfortable. The owner is a very kind woman! My friend was extremely satisfied; it was a perfect choice, and they will definitely choose Melbourne Homestay again next time.

ZZheng2571Big thanks to Sister Qiu for always responding to our inquiries and to the boss, Hongbo, for the warm hospitality and care. We had a very comfortable and fun four-day, three-night stay (Dec 27-30) in Snow Valley. The warm beds, hot meals, and enjoying all the entertainment activities in Snow Valley and Snow Village gave our group of four an extraordinary winter experience.
At Xiongling in Snow Valley, we tried snowmobiling, snow tubing, skiing, and snow drifting (super thrilling!).
**Friendly reminder**: Please wear sunglasses, a mask, and a snow hat. This will help prevent the cold snow from hitting your face when you're snow drifting. The snow hitting your face is incredibly, unbelievably cold!
For the Yangcaoshan itinerary, I recommend buying tickets for the horse-drawn sled and taking the snowmobile all the way up the mountain. Hiking would be a very long and time-consuming distance. For the second half, we opted to hike down to Snow Village, and the snow scenery along the way was absolutely spectacular, perfect for photos. You can also buy a small sled to enjoy some exciting mini snow runs on the way down.
**The only drawback**: The shower head in the bathroom had low water pressure, so it took a bit longer to shower.

It's very close to Jiangbei University Town subway station, and it's very convenient to get to attractions. There are also many places to eat around!

GGuest UserDo not be fooled by the two stars hotel rating when selecting this Homestay. This Homestay offers a different experience as you could wake up seeing snowfall from your window, playing at the slides outside the hotel for the children and enjoying the sumptuous restaurant food behind the hotel in the negative temperature. The Manager of the hotel rendered professional service as she helped us book all the attractions and the driver would pick and send us there. The driver is very experienced and careful when driving in thick snow. The ski resort is near the Homestay which my boys spent 3 hours skiing. In addition, the Manager instructed the kitchen to prepare fries and pop corn chickens specially for my children. Excellent service and we truly enjoyed our stay at this Homestay. Keep up the good work!

AAnsh ChananaThe place which looks in the photo it is that one but quite dropped by the expectation which I had with it , it was time around the new year and I paid around 700 RMB for 2 nights so I thought room will be quite good by checking the rooms and photos of the reviews. But the room was small the terrace was just a little high from my head. Whole room is okay okay and not so much what you see in the photos. And whole room was with smoke smell the entire 2 days and we opened the small windows to bring out the circulation. Coz the room was heating up in the half an hour only. The owner is good she is really friendly and will help you with everything she even helped in getting my refund of my next hotel she is very good. But the place is fine and can get better

AAnonymous UserThe location is fantastic, right at the subway entrance. When it's -20 to -30 degrees Celsius outside, saving a few hundred meters of walking really is a lifesaver. The hostel also provides free earplugs, and there are a lot of international guests, so you hear all sorts of languages. As an introverted person with social anxiety, I wasn't able to initiate conversations. There's a fridge and microwave on the first floor, so you can store your own food and heat it up whenever you want. All in all, it's pretty good!

OOlesia eye surgeonWe are family of 2 adults and two kids 10 and 15 years old stayed for two nights. Actually we have arrived at late night at 00:30 and just called to the reception by number which was provided by trip com. The front desk guy went downstairs and gave us the access to our room. The front desk is located at 4 floor 412 room block E . The room was convenient, very clean, the two double beds are big and comfortable. The window view to the west railway station. We went by walk about 16 minutes from the hotel to railway. The wanda plaza needs to take a taxi to get in and it’s about 10 minutes by car. The room is warm, the windows are good closed, has refrigerator but doesn’t have any dishwear. If you want to eat and cook some simple meal at the room then will need to bring your own tableware. Also we stored our luggage for free at the front desk for few hours. My family have enjoyed the stay. Appreciate for the good accommodation!
