"Finally, we were able to experience the Grand Hyatt Hefei during this spring break, and it was a wonderful 2-night staycation! The Regency Deluxe Twin room was perfect - very clean, spacious, well appointed and with great city views. We enjoyed the onsen style bath in the room; the pool, steam and sauna facilities were all good. Room service was great, satisfying the midnight cravings of my family. Breakfast had an awesome spread - a balanced variety of local and western dishes.
Dinner and drinks at the Club Lounge were pretty good, even for vegetarians. Drink selection was curated very well even if a bit limited. It was a great place to hang out after dinner and drinks, especially after we convinced our family friends to check in and join us the next nigh. Also, shoutout to the great service from the lovely club lounge staff!

There's a wide variety of food options, from snacks to full meals, making it very convenient for dining, entertainment, and sightseeing. The only minor inconvenience is that taxis can't drop you off directly in front of the hotel entrance; you need to walk a short distance. Overall, though, getting around is quite easy.
đ¨Facilities: The rooms feature smart controls, allowing you to use voice commands for lights, air conditioning, and curtains. I have to praise the soundproofing â it's excellent. Despite being right on a pedestrian street, it's remarkably quiet once you close the windows.

"The hotel has been newly renovated, and the facilities are quite complete. However, it's a hotel converted from an office building, so the soundproofing isn't great; I could clearly hear conversations from next door. The location is pretty good though â just 100 meters out, cross the sky bridge at night, and there's a street food night market.
The cleanliness was decent, but the bathroom had a slight odor when I first entered the room.
The environment was okay.
The service was enthusiastic. Even though I arrived early and my reserved room wasn't ready, they offered to upgrade my room if I waited half an hour. In the end, it was still the room I originally booked, which wasn't a big deal. However, the noise from conversations and laughter next door at noon made it impossible to rest. After only a few minutes in the room, I asked to switch, and they eventually moved me to a room with a mahjong machine."

"My stay at this hotel was excellent. The ambiance, cleanliness, and comfort were all top tier, and I would rate it 10 out of 10. The reception area is beautifully designed, and the view from the upper floors, especially the breakfast area, was a highlight.
The location is very convenient, with street food, small shops, and cafĂŠs within walking distance. There is even a Luckin Coffee right next to the hotel, plus a small shop attached, which made things very easy.
The staff were pleasant, professional, and helpful throughout my stay.
The food was good, but I would have appreciated a bit more Western variety to make the experience even better.
Overall, this is definitely a do-over for me. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily return."

"Highly recommend the InterContinental Hefei! đ It's centrally located by Swan Lake, close to Anhui Museum, Hechai 1972, and Leijie, making getting around super convenient đ.
The room was spacious and comfortable đď¸, equipped with an air purifier, and the bathroom was clean with no strange odors đż. Our dedicated butler was fantastic, providing attentive and thoughtful service đ. They proactively offered us a quiet, non-smoking floor and even helped us order food and deliver it to our room đ. The kids were tired from sightseeing and were able to enjoy a meal as soon as we got back. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious đł; even though there were many people, everything was well-organized, and they even had some special Hefei snacks.
Overall, a perfect experience! Kudos to all the staff. Staying here with kids in Hefei was incredibly stress-free. We received a lovely welcome gift upon check-in and a fridge magnet when we left, which made us very happy. Highly, highly recommend! â¨"

"The hotel's location is great, with many restaurants nearby, although most were closed for the New Year holiday. The front desk staff were very warm and polite. Even with many guests checking in during the holiday, they remained friendly and courteous. What needs improvement is the room's cleanliness. Upon check-in, there was a lot of dust on the bathroom mirror counter. We figured the cleaning staff might have overlooked it, so we didn't mention it, but it wasn't cleaned on the following two days either. For breakfast, I felt like two hotels were sharing one restaurant, as I saw people entering with different room cards. During the New Year, the restaurant was completely overwhelmed; eating felt like a battle. Overall, I hope the hotel focuses more on the details. I look forward to you doing even better!"

"The room was great, spotlessly clean, and even had a smart toilet. From February 20th to 24th, the floor attendant on the 23rd or 24th floor (I apologize, I can't recall the exact room number) was exceptionally warm and professional.
The breakfast was excellent! I got to try the local specialty, qiangguo mian (stir-fried noodles), and the chicken soup wontons were incredibly fresh and delicious. The freshly made pork buns were also fantastic. The chefs at the live cooking stations were all very friendly. I especially appreciated the thoughtfulness of having takeaway cups readily available next to the coffee machine.
Sitting in the lounge on the top floor in the evening was a great way to relax.
I had noted on Trip.com that my booking included a welcome fruit plate, and I also redeemed 1 point for one, but the front desk never mentioned it and it was not provided at any point during my stay."

GGuest UserThis was my first time staying at a Mercure hotel and I was not disappointed. This new hotel opened in April. I usually stay at less expensive hotels but I was attending a festival at Luogang Central Park and wanted to find accommodations nearby. It was a short walk from the hotel door to the festival gates. I could see the stages from my room.
The service at the hotel was the best that I have ever encountered. I was immediately greeted by the guest services agents. Sally, the front office manager, assisted me as I checked in. She speaks excellent English. Sally assisted me by entering the hotel address and room number into *******. The food was delivered to my room by robot. Sally and the staff at the front desk made sure that everything about my stay was as perfect as it could be. On day two, I ordered ******* again. The food never arrived. As I do not know any Chinese, Sally helped me by talking to the vendor and delivery driver. She spent two days (even after I had checked out and gone home) to make sure that I got a full refund from *******. For some reason, I could not rent a phone charger from the machine in the lobby (that is a problem on my end not a problem with the machine). One of the guest services agents on duty rented the charger for me and I paid her when I returned the charger.
My room was beautiful! I had a corner room with windows on two sides. I enjoyed a long soak in the tub each day. The toilet came with a remote control that I translated. There were a few minor things about the room that could be improved. 1. The refrigerator was stocked with free beverages. However, there were no sugar free sodas. The water bottles are smaller than what I am used to and there were only two bottles of regular drinking water in the room. The maid and front desk were happy to supply me with more when asked. 2. The telephone sits on the bedside table that is in the far corner of the room. You have to walk around the bed to reach it. The phone would be more accessible on the side of the bed closer to the sitting area. I don't usually use the hotel phone but you do get a call when the robot comes to your door. 3. To open and close the curtains, you press the button next to the bed. The corner room has large windows on both walls. There is no way to only open the curtain on one side of the room. The morning sun was too strong from one window so I used a chair to prop open the curtains on the other window. 4. There is a lack of foreign programming on the television. Other hotel chains that I use have a free English movie station like HBO or Cine-Max. I travel with a USB stick that has some movies saved on it in case the hotel does not offer such programming. However, the original TV remote is not supplied in the room and there is no way to change the TV input from their satellite box to the USB port. I did not have my laptop with me. I inquired with Sally at the front desk but there was nothing that she could do. There was an option to order pay per view movies. 5. The next problem is my error. I put the paper do not disturb sign on the door. I did not realize that there was also a button on the light switch that turns on a green light outside of the door when you want the room cleaned. I accidentally turned on the light. The maid walked in on me without knocking first. She was very kind and apologetic.
I did not use all hotel amenities. I did enjoy the wine, coffee, and snacks in the front lobby. I also ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant each day. There was a nice variety on the breakfast buffet that changed daily. I found the laundry room to be clean and comfortable with a small sitting area. It is located near the fitness room and restaurant.
I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again if I am in the area. The small issues that I mentioned above are just minor inconveniences and nothing that can't be corrected or worked around. Based on my stay here, I would also try other Mercure hotels when traveling.

There is Baoheyuan subway exit nearby within a 10-minute walk. It is very convenient. Five-star recommendation!

My husband and I work hard, so for our vacation, we just wanted a place with good air, excellent service, and convenient facilities where we could relax. We chose the Guanshanfang, which has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking green hills and a pond. When we opened the windows, the sounds of birds and insects, along with a gentle breeze, filled the room â it was incredibly soothing.

The hotel has an in-house restaurant that serves three meals a day. Breakfast is complimentary, while other meals are self-paid, costing around 100+ RMB per person. The menu offers a good variety, and considering we didn't have to leave the hotel, the food quality and price were acceptable.
- Service
The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Anything we needed could be delivered to our room, and they patiently answered our questions and offered guidance regarding travel advice and everyday queries. On busy weekends, things occasionally felt a bit rushed, likely because the hotel is relatively new and still finding its rhythm.
- Getting Around
For those who enjoy hiking and sightseeing, there's a mountain about 500m from the hotel suitable for trekking, with a temple at the summit. Additionally, about 10 kilometers away, you can access the Lunan Chuanzang Scenic Route for a scenic drive up to Zhaiji Mountain for some breathtaking views. My parents thoroughly enjoyed it. If you plan on exploring, driving is recommended.
- Other Amenities
The hotel features a swimming pool, gym, and laundry room. They also offer sound healing and handmade sachet workshops. Even if you don't venture out, there's enough to keep you occupied and entertained for at least a day within the hotel. I hope they'll add sports facilities like a badminton court in the future, which would surely attract even more guests.
Overall, we were very happy we chose Daiaoshanju for this trip; it's definitely worth a visit.

I arrived in Hefei at night, impressed by Chinaâs almost legendary punctuality â something my own country once specialised in, long ago. The airport shuttle glided through wide, perfectly straight roads lined with glowing skyscrapers. A good start.
Then I reached Hefei South Station, opened Trip.com, and was told: âYour hotel is right here.â
Technically true â but only if you know itâs directly underneath your feet.
After wandering around the huge empty square, a very kind police officer rescued me, pointed to a lonely elevator in the middle of the plaza (it looked more like modern art than an entrance), and down I went into the hidden world below.
The hotel is built inside the station itself â small clusters of rooms tucked between luggage areas and service corridors. From reception to my room it was about 300 metres of underground sightseeing. My VIBRAM-soled hiking boots even stuck to the floor at first (someone must have spilled a bottle of very enthusiastic orange soda), but the cleaning staff fixed everything with great care and many smiles.
Breakfast was the most unforgettable part: served inside a convenience store full of police officers and station staff queueing for their morning noodles. No English menu, lots of friendly confusion, and eventually I received three cold eggs and a massive seaweed-wrapped rice block the size of two fists. I decided to spare myself â life is too short for certain experiments â and found a latte upstairs instead.

GGuest UserA lovely opportunity to experience Chinese hospitality. I stayed with my cat and we felt very welcome. The owner is very attentive and looks well after his guests. It is good to know that the reception is in the 3rd floor. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. A quiet area and house, just perfect if you need a good rest or travel with an anxious pet.

GGuest UserIt locates near the lake, so there's awesome and gorgeous view. I can see very beautiful lake on the balcony in my room. There are several big hotels around the lake. This Novotel has the best lake view.
The distance to the Chaohu Lake is not far. Renting a car is the best choice. This location is nearly the edge of service areas of the shared electric bicycles.
There are many merchants near this Novotel. It's very convenient to buy food and daily supplies.

GGuest UserThe location is okay for concerts, about a 30-minute walk. However, there is construction nearby, which makes it noisy. The renovation is probably quite old, and some of the design is not very reasonable. There is no full-length mirror, and the sink does not have a trash can. Also, people will slip small cards into the room at night. The room itself is quite large.

The most important thing is that they do not provide drinking water. You have to buy it from the convenience store downstairs and bring it up every day. The landlord's service attitude was very good and enthusiastic. He picked us up at the door and took us to the parking lot (because the parking lot was like a maze)

GGuest UserThis trip to Hefei was a little special for me. Although I was traveling with my mother in her 50s, I also wanted to spend time with my boyfriend who lives in China, so I ended up booking two separate rooms at the same hotel.
At first, I hesitated, but it turned out to be a great decision. By reserving two rooms in the same hotel, my mother could rest comfortably in her own space, and I was able to spend time with my boyfriend according to our schedule without making anyone feel uncomfortable. What I appreciated most was being able to respect and balance both relationships â family and partner.
The hotel staff handled the check-in process and room assignments smoothly, and both rooms were clean and well-maintained, which gave us peace of mind throughout our stay. Having two rooms in the same hotel also made it very convenient to move around and go back and forth as needed.
For anyone traveling with family while also needing some personal time, this arrangement can definitely be a thoughtful and practical option.
There seem to be slightly more international visitors than Korean tourists in Hefei, so I decided to write this review in English.
