"I stayed at this hotel twice within ten days, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The breakfast had a great variety and was served for a long time. The location is superb, right in the middle of the pedestrian street, and all the nearby attractions are easily accessible. The room was clean, well-lit, and the linens were new and very clean, making for a comfortable stay. The room was also very quiet, and drinking water was freely available. The hotel even offers afternoon tea and a late-night snack, which really shows their dedication. What particularly impressed me was this afternoon when I received a call from the hotel. They asked about a skincare sample I had left behind. It was something I didn't want and had forgotten to throw away. The hotel found it and immediately called me to inform me of the forgotten item. I quickly told them I didn't need it. Their incredibly responsible and attentive service is truly commendable."

"This stay experience was great! Come to Hefei during the holiday, from check-in to check-out, every link makes people feel comfortable. The front desk lady is warm and welcoming, and the check-in is fast. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and I slept well all night. Hotel location is also very good, very close to the subway/attractions, will choose this next time! Staying with the baby is very worry-free! The hotel is very clean and the front desk and staff are particularly patient with the children. The room space is also enough, if you can provide children's slippers and toiletries, it will be more perfect. The overall experience is very good, it is worth recommending to families with children. "Hefei Somerset Swan Lake Serviced Residence | Three Families Traveling with Kids – Super Satisfied, Unexpected Upgrade + Perfect Experience! Three families traveling together booked a three-bedroom apartment, and the front desk was incredibly thoughtful, giving us a free upgrade to a deluxe three-bedroom suite. The 108 sqm space was spacious and airy, with 3 bedrooms, a separate living room, dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. It easily accommodated 6 people without feeling cramped, offering both privacy and a comfortable space for gathering. The room was spotless and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and fresh. The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils, a refrigerator, microwave, and washing machine. This was a lifesaver when traveling with kids, allowing us to heat up food and do laundry – it really felt like a home away from home. The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of the Government Affairs District. Swan Lake is just across the road, perfect for walks, taking the kids out, and enjoying the scenery. Major shopping malls like Wanda, Intime, and MixC are all within walking distance, making dining, shopping, and leisurely strolls incredibly convenient. Getting around was a breeze. The service was warm and attentive. The front desk was responsive and had a great attitude. With 24-hour reception and secure access control, we felt very safe and secure. The apartment also offers amenities like an indoor pool, a children's play area, and a gym, ensuring everyone in the family found something enjoyable to do. This is definitely our top choice for family trips or friends traveling together. The space, service, and location are all excellent, and the value for money is outstanding. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Hefei!"

"This is a fantastic value-for-money hotel under the Holiday Inn brand. The service is excellent, and they're very quick to respond to requests. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious, with freshly cooked wontons and noodles – you might not even need lunch! A tip for those driving: don't follow your GPS onto the side road. Stay on Changjiang Middle Road (the main road). When your GPS tells you to turn right, look carefully for a hotel sign; that's the entrance. When I called the front desk, they gave me very helpful and clear directions: look for the bookstore, then the KFC on the left, and the entrance is up a small slope."

"Hotel is situated in an office-like building judging by the entrance, or it could be an apartment, i'm not sure. Only 1 lift out of 6 serves the hotel. The room was really nice, especially the bathroom. The only minor issue i had in the room is the cleaning staff left a few sticky streaks on the floor mid-way through my stay. Washing machines and dryers were very useful, though the provided iron is too small and the ironing board legs were broken. The carpark entrance malfunctions often as it fails to detect cars exiting, many drivers resort to honking in the hope that a staff member nearby will open the gate. However, it’s unclear whether there is anyone assigned to manage this as i did not see any booth or place for carpark staff."

"This hotel is absolutely the heart of Hefei. Located at the intersection of Huizhou Avenue and Wuhu Road, Bao Park is directly across the street, offering a refreshing green view from the window. It's just a 10-minute walk to Huaihe Road Pedestrian Street, Bao Gong Ancestral Temple, and the Provincial Hospital. A 20-minute taxi ride to Hefei South Railway Station means no worries about catching high-speed trains. Although it opened in 1999, the interior decor feels completely refreshed. They upgraded my room, which featured smart home controls throughout, a 55-inch large-screen TV, and an incredibly comfortable mattress with excellent support. The bathroom had a dry/wet separation, hot water instantly and consistently, and a bathtub that was perfect for a relaxing soak. The mini-fridge was a great touch for storing fruits and yogurt – super thoughtful! The breakfast buffet far exceeded expectations, with a wide variety of both regular Chinese and Western options. A special shout-out to the signature 'Sha Tang' (sand soup), which was incredibly fresh and warming. The fruit selection was also extensive, and the bread ranged from sweet to crispy. Breakfast hours are long, but I recommend going before 8:30 AM for the fullest selection. Surprisingly, in the evening, they even provided hot porridge and steamed buns near the front desk – a real lifesaver for tired travelers! During my stay, when I asked for extra water bottles, they were delivered quickly and were all complimentary. The parking lot has ample spaces, and the security guard actively guided me, so I didn't have to circle around. It's an outdoor lot, very convenient, just a short walk from the car to the entrance. All the hotel staff were polite and courteous; the star-rated service truly shines. I especially want to commend Deputy Manager Xiao Gao for being so warm and patient. During the New Year holiday, this warmth felt incredibly thoughtful while being away from home. At check-out, he even asked if I slept well the night before – that feeling of being remembered was genuinely heartwarming. The surrounding area also boasts a pedestrian street, Laobaoguan (Old Newspaper Hall), and a lobster street, all bustling with life in the evening. If you prefer something less heavy, Lao Xiang Ji is nearby, clean and hygienic. Among hotels in Hefei, this truly offers the best value for money. Every penny is clearly spent on guest comfort, from sleep to breakfast and detailed service. This will definitely be my top choice for future visits to Hefei."

"The best hotel during my trip to China. The room was clean, well-organized, and new. The breakfast was excellent, delicious, and varied. The staff were extremely helpful. It was a snowy day, and they offered me hot water upon arrival and turned on the heating before I entered the room. On the second day, they kindly helped me arrange a taxi. Small gestures, but very important. By the way, I travel a lot and stay in a different hotel almost every day, but I truly felt the need to thank this wonderful staff. Mercure Hotels will always be my first choice."

"The room was as clean and tidy as ever. Due to the heavy snow, it was difficult to get a taxi, and it was quite late when we arrived at the hotel. The quiet environment helped me fall asleep quickly. The hotel was also a stop for the airport bus, so I bought a ticket, boarded the bus, and arrived at the airport without any problems."
