Facilities: The facilities are very new, with smart home features throughout. Cleanliness: Clean and tidy, and the bedding was very comfortable. Ambiance: The decor leans towards a light, Central European elegance, which I found quite aesthetic and fitting for my impression of Kunming. Service: The staff really left a great impression on me. They upgraded our room, provided smiling service throughout, and even gave us a toiletries set when we checked out. The breakfast was also decent; while the variety wasn't extensive and the coffee machine only seemed to offer Americanos and espressos, the overall taste was very good. I highly recommend the 'er'si' (rice noodles)! I included a few less-relevant photos just to make up nine pictures, please don't mind them.

This hotel offers a 100-point experience! The hotel is clearly managed with great thought and care, allowing guests to enjoy a true vacation without even leaving the premises. The facilities are exquisite, featuring Hansgrohe faucets and Duravit sanitary ware and toilets. The shower drains perfectly and has excellent water pressure. The toiletries are good quality, even the disposable toothbrushes are carefully selected, and they thoughtfully provide facial towels and laundry detergent. The towels are thick and don't shed. The room is clean and odor-free. The bedding feels luxurious and the pillows are comfortable. The lighting design and smart zoning are incredibly well-planned. The fresh flowers upon check-in were a lovely touch, as was the complimentary travel photoshoot. The food is delicious! Every breakfast item was tasty, and the late-night snacks were impressive – even the grilled skewers were good. The afternoon tea was also very refined. The hotel's terrace offers a beautiful blue hour ambiance and a spacious, airy feel. The staff are genuinely sincere, professional, and incredibly nice in their attitude and greetings. Their service truly makes you want to praise them, write a detailed review, and motivates you to return for another stay! I wish the brand continued success.

I spontaneously changed my reservation from the Nan Hilton to the Sheraton City Center, mainly because of its convenient location and easy access to transportation. The bustling commercial area downstairs offers plenty of dining options, and the hotel is relatively new, built in 2025. As it's in the city center, the rooms aren't as spacious as the Sheraton in Dali, but it's well-equipped despite its smaller size. Since we were three adults and one child, I discussed it with the front desk, and they kindly provided an extra adult's breakfast, which significantly enhanced our experience. We only stayed one night, so we didn't use the self-service laundry, but I've used it at the Dali Sheraton, and it's very convenient. If I visit Kunming again in the future, I'll definitely choose the Sheraton. Upon check-in, we received welcome fruits and drinks, and bottled water was available in the elevator lobby for guests to take freely, which was a nice and convenient touch. The hotel also has a well-equipped gym. The staff were not overly enthusiastic but maintained an appropriate distance, which was perfect for someone like me. My child was reluctant to leave and said they wanted to come back.

I had an early flight the next morning, so I wanted to book a hotel close to the airport. When I saw Manju, a brand under New Century Hotels & Resorts, I didn't hesitate and booked it immediately. I often stay at New Century hotels and always appreciate their excellent service, quality, and cleanliness. Plus, this hotel offers a free airport shuttle service, which is incredibly convenient for travelers and a big bonus. After a smooth check-in, our room was spacious, bright, and spotless. It was fully equipped with smart home features and even earplugs, though we didn't need them at all. Sleeping with the window open was perfectly quiet, and the view of the vast green space outside was beautiful and refreshing. There were also many restaurants, convenience stores, and local specialty shops nearby, which was very convenient. In the morning, the front desk called to remind us about the shuttle bus departure time. We went down to the lobby a few minutes early, and the front desk had thoughtfully prepared individual breakfast bags containing milk, eggs, and bread. There was also free coffee and water in the lobby. I have to say, the hotel really thinks of everything! The shuttle bus departed on time. When we arrived at the airport, we suddenly remembered that we had left the flower pastries we bought the night before in the room. Going back to the hotel would have been too tight a schedule, so with a hopeful heart, I called the front desk and explained the situation. The front desk responded quickly, retrieved the flower pastries from the room in less than 10 minutes, and handed them to the driver who was about to leave, who then brought them to us. We felt such a relief when we got the pastries, as they were a Yunnan souvenir for our friends. A huge thank you to the front desk lady on the morning of the 12th; she was beautiful and kind, efficiently and quickly helping me solve the problem. I regret not knowing her name. And also a big thank you to the driver at 7:30 AM, who safely and quickly delivered our gift. Thank you, New Century, thank you, Manju, and thank you to all the staff. Your patient, meticulous, warm, and thoughtful service always makes my stays happy and reassuring. I extend my most sincere gratitude to both staff members again. ♥️

Excellent location with convenient transport links and plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean with no strange odors, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, room service was prompt, and breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. Overall, incredible value for money, and an outstanding stay. Highly recommended!

This hotel is excellent! I originally came to Panlong for business and just randomly booked a hotel since I knew I'd be switching. To my surprise, I found it so comfortable after checking in that I decided to extend my stay – and ended up staying for four nights! A special thanks to the lovely front desk lady with the round face. On the first night, my family of three stayed in a king-size room, and she gave us a room with a three-meter-wide bed. The next day, I mentioned the room felt a bit small, and she graciously upgraded us to a twin room, really accommodating my needs. Her service was top-notch! The hotel is clean, hygienic, and all the facilities are complete, new, and in great condition. The bed was comfortable, and the price was fantastic – very budget-friendly! Next time I'm in Kunming, I'll definitely consider this hotel first. There's parking available, and it's easy to catch a taxi. Plus, the Ruiding City Shopping Center is just next door, which is incredibly convenient! Highly recommend! This is genuinely the first time I've written such a long review just because of a hotel stay! I didn't take any photos, but it looks exactly like the pictures!!

Overall, it was genuinely great. I stayed here with my parents and child, and the beds were quite large. The breakfast was plentiful; though I didn't get to try it, my parents did and they were very happy, which made me happy too. The front desk staff was excellent. When my child wasn't feeling well, they told us which hospital to go to, and all our questions and issues were communicated and resolved promptly. The hotel also has a laundry room. It was a pleasant stay, and the location was convenient for getting everywhere. Really good!

My friend highly recommended this place, saying the area is fantastic and super convenient, and the shuttle service was a huge plus. The shuttle service to/from the South High-Speed Rail Station was excellent. Overall, the service was truly impeccable, and there are plenty of great dining options nearby. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip.

The hotel is newly renovated, the room is very comfortable, there is a snack street downstairs, it is convenient, the hotel service is very good, and it is also very close to the high-speed rail. Relatively speaking, it is comfortable to stay and the experience is good. You can choose this hotel if you are transiting nearby!

Despite the convenient location, comfortable beds, and all-important quiet sleep we managed to get, the hotel's communication to arrange our pick up from the train station at night and what turned out to be a self-check-in was just dismal, clearly needing more training to ensure better organisation for future guests. The following constructive advice is to help the hotel improve and for (particularly foreign) guests to note: 1. Ask for guests' phone number and inform the driver well in advance of our arrival, instead of waiting till the very last minute to do so. We reached out to the hotel via WeChat the day before and rightfully received detailed instructions (in Chinese) to find the driver (the pick up service is actually outsourced to a separate company using 3 different vans), but once we found the van, the driver angrily insisted we call the hotel to identify us by confirming our phone number - we were not allowed to board without the hotel's confirmation, which should have been done directly with the driver well in advance of our arrival. 2. This hotel is not manned after hours, let alone 24 hours, so please make it known well beforehand that we will have to check in ourselves if arriving after hours, and provide clear instructions on how to do so instead of communicating them through the phone while guiding us using the security cameras. It is not the guests' responsibility to do your administrative work (to report ourselves to the authorities by scanning the police QR code and filling out our details) at 11 o'clock at night when we have an early morning train to catch the following day. The hotel should allow guests to enter the room as soon as possible upon arrival, not have us wait half an hour while they struggle with what was clearly their first time checking in foreign guests - worse still over the phone - insisting that this be done before we could enter our room. 3. If the hotel truly wants the patronage of foreign guests, they will have to prioritise our convenience and comfort over theirs by actually having someone check us in in-person. Remotely doing so to save costs is as absurd as expecting foreign guests to communicate our details over the phone, sending photos of ourselves, our passport details etc. via WeChat, and then finding our room card and the room by talking to someone over the phone in Chinese. At the very least, these requirements and instructions should be clearly produced and communicated beforehand so that nothing is improvised. We hope the above experience helps improve what is a decent hotel providing good value for money.
