"Highly recommend this hidden gem of a hotel! The location is superb, making travel very convenient, and there are plenty of amenities nearby. The room was surprisingly clean and tidy, the bedding soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing excellent, ensuring a peaceful stay. "I had a wonderful 3 days 2 nights stay at this hotel in Bipenggou. The scenery around the hotel is absolutely beautiful — surrounded by mountains and nature, the views were truly amazing and made the whole trip feel peaceful and relaxing.
The room was comfortable and clean, perfect for resting after a day exploring the area. What made the stay even more special was the owner. They were very helpful, kind, and welcoming, always ready to assist whenever we needed anything.
We also really appreciated the late check-out, which gave us extra time to relax without rushing. It was such a thoughtful gesture.

"The front desk lady was excellent. She came out in the cold to guide me when I couldn't find my way, and even helped with my luggage despite there being an elevator. On the day I checked in, the whole Lixian area had a power outage, and the manager was incredibly patient and enthusiastic in coordinating a solution to any issues that arose. You could really feel the staff's friendliness. The breakfast coffee machine had a good variety of options, and the hotel's indoor hot spring pools were numerous, with not many people during the off-peak season. The room was spacious and well-laid out. There's still room for improvement in the details, especially the drain odor, which I sincerely hope the hotel addresses soon."

The hotel has a unique design, which is close to the mountains and rivers, with a group of paths leading to secluded places and clouds flying in the mountains. The hotel has complete facilities and functions, with various guest rooms, including special soup pool room, starry family suite, administrative suite, large floor window viewing room, etc. Some rooms are equipped with intelligent voice butler, high-definition projection equipment and intelligent toilet. The bed sheet and quilt cover in the room are made of 80 * 80 high-density satin fabric, and the quilt core is 90% down. It is equipped with a zero pressure mattress, a Jinkeler mattress and some electric massage mattresses. It has a free choice of pillow area, which allows you to have a better single sleep experience. The hotel has tea houses, restaurants, meeting rooms and other supporting facilities. "I stayed here for two nights on my trip to Bipenggou, and this was the second hotel. It's much, much better than the previous one, probably a case of 'you get what you pay for.'
First off, breakfast. At the other hotel, breakfast was served from 7:00 to 8:00 AM, but by the time I finished getting ready, it was almost 8, so I missed it. This hotel's breakfast hours are later, so even if I woke up a bit late, I still got to eat.
Then there's the hygiene and environment, both significantly better than the last place. We went right after New Year's Day, and the front desk told us most of the staff were on holiday, so there was no bonfire party. But with fewer people, it felt more peaceful. When we went to the hot springs, it was just my partner and me at first, and then a family joined later.
This hotel also has a restaurant. We finished at Bipenggou around 7 PM, and they were still serving food. However, since it was getting late, we opted for something else. There's a BBQ joint a little further down the road that's quite tasty, but a bit pricey. Further on, there's a Chengdu restaurant. That was decent too; I had a hot pot because I was feeling a bit under the weather those few days, and it was quite mild, which was nice.
This hotel is also only about a 5-minute walk from the Bipenggou scenic area. However, we only stayed here for one night before heading back to Chengdu in the morning. Overall, for a price of just over 300 RMB, to have access to hot springs and such a nice environment, I think it's definitely worth it.
You really should visit Bipenggou during the off-season and on a clear day. We not only took the sightseeing shuttle but also hiked a short section, and the scenery there was beautiful. Plus, it was just my partner and me the whole way, which I personally prefer, as I like a bit more peace and quiet. However, if you're prone to altitude sickness, the walk might be a bit tough. But it's actually not bad, only about an hour."

The resort offers a premium and unique experience in Bipenggou. However, transportation arrangements in the area can be challenging, especially for guests who are not self-driving. It would be helpful if the resort could provide clearer guidance or assistance to make arrival and departure smoother.

I was traveling alone and sat on the second-floor terrace; it was a bit chilly that day, and they turned on the heater so I could leisurely enjoy the view. It's clear they put a lot of thought into the hotel, and the design was exactly my style.
The room had underfloor heating and air conditioning, and it was very clean.
I really enjoyed the shumai at breakfast.
Because it's a walk-up hotel, the owner was very kind and helped with my luggage.
When I came back in the afternoon to retrieve my luggage, they even turned on the heater for me after I sat down for a while.
The attention to detail was so touching 😭 I hope the owner's business prospers and their profits increase.

The main reason we chose this place was for the photo opportunities, and it absolutely did not disappoint! The infinity pool upstairs was clean and the water temperature was just right. Soaking in the hot springs at night while chatting, the vibe was absolutely perfect – a level of comfort you definitely can't experience in the city.
3. **Room and Facilities:**
Our room was spacious and clean, decorated with local characteristics while still feeling cozy. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. All the facilities were new and complete, and the underfloor heating worked wonderfully, keeping us perfectly warm at night.

I *must* emphasize the service! From the patient answers during booking to the warm welcome from the owner and front desk staff upon check-in, we truly felt at home. The owner even gave us very practical tips for visiting Bipenggou. Breakfast was home-style and healthy; for dinner, we ordered local specialty dishes, which tasted great and were reasonably priced.

HHuilingdundedanThis is the only hotel on my trip that didn't ask me for a positive review. It's located right outside the armed forces department, so it feels very safe, and there's a small parking lot. It's probably one of the best hotels in the county.
I'd recommend it if you're passing through, because the room facilities are comprehensive. Plus, the front desk not only arranged a room facing the armed forces department, which was very quiet (and had a mountain view), but they also turned on the heating in advance, showing really thoughtful service.
As for breakfast, I specifically tried the beef noodles; the ******* auntie's noodles were delicious. The other food items were simple but neatly arranged and felt very clean.

They had all the amenities for warmth: floor heating, air conditioning, and even an electric blanket. In fact, it was almost too warm; I actually woke up in the middle of the night feeling hot and had to turn down the floor heating. The cat was also super cute – it kept meowing outside the door as if asking to be let in, haha!

2205817****The room layout was good, offering separate spaces for four people across two bedrooms. However, the slide was too steep, felt unsafe, and lacked entertainment value. The bunk bed room didn't seem to have underfloor heating, so we specifically requested an extra duvet at night. The room carpet wasn't very clean, but the response was quick – when we reported the broken security chain, a worker was sent to fix it promptly.
We were disappointed with the restaurant. The staff were indifferent, and the prices were too high, making it poor value for money. Although the breakfast buffet had a wide variety, the taste wasn't great, and many items felt like frozen food.
The hot springs, perhaps due to fewer guests, only had a few pools open, and they were quite small. While the infinity pool offered nice views, it was just a small swimming pool. Overall, I wouldn't consider a second visit.

GGuest UserThis guesthouse is located at the entrance to the valley, about a 10-minute drive from Meinianda Hot Springs. It's clean and hygienic, and in winter, they have underfloor heating. The owner's copper hotpot is delicious, and there's an apple orchard right next to the guesthouse. I was lucky enough to visit during apple season, and picking them fresh to eat was wonderful!

The front desk lady very kindly upgraded us to a room upstairs, where we could see the snowy mountains in the back. In the evening, I wanted to do some laundry, and since it was too late, I asked the front desk lady to help us out. The service was really great, and the breakfast had a good variety and plenty to eat. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time.
