"I was really looking forward to a beautiful New Year's Eve celebration. Since I had a child with me and couldn't stay up until midnight, I booked a fireworks view room at the Fuli Ocean World Hyatt Hotel a month in advance, based on last year's New Year's Eve information from Xiaohongshu. I wanted to have a drink on the balcony and count down together.
Well, it was a total bust.
After enjoying the buffet dinner at the hotel (the buffet was actually quite good), I ordered a bottle of wine early, put the kid to sleep, and waited for the fireworks on the balcony, since it was a fireworks view room after all. But it was a disaster. The main fireworks display area had been moved to my left rear, completely out of sight. I could only see some minor fireworks going off. I basically just listened to the sounds all night, and my mood was far from good. When I bought the wine, I even asked the staff, and they all said that as long as I could see the Ferris wheel, I'd see the fireworks. They probably didn't even know the launch location had changed.
I've never been to Ocean World before, and all my information came from online searches. I thought by spending a bit more on a better room, I could enjoy all the scenery from my balcony without leaving. Instead, it was just so awkward.
It's not so much about the money, but more that I spent the money and didn't get the service I expected."

"I stayed for four consecutive days, and the rainforest hot springs were an amazing experience. There are over a dozen different natural hot spring pools, each with its own unique charm. "The hotel's service team is professional and enthusiastic. From check-in to check-out, the staff is not only friendly, especially the front desk staff Justin Xiaocai, who provides very good service from check-in to check-out, very thoughtful reminders, and very helpful. When I met me during the store, I would greet me warmly and provide guests with many practical suggestions and help. This kind of thoughtful service makes people feel warm, as if they are back home. The only thing is that the restaurant is a bit lacking. There are flies in the restaurant and the food is slow to be added. I hope it can be improved. I will come again next time. I hope the hotel will praise the employee Xiaocai."

"I spotted this hotel on Ctrip's rankings, drawn in by its incredible value for money. I booked it without a second thought, and my stay truly exceeded expectations.
The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful; it's a tranquil villa complex featuring a central swimming pool surrounded by lush, dense coconut groves.
They offered convenient shuttle service for both arrival and departure, and even helped with our luggage.
The front desk staff were also incredibly helpful. Guests can rent bikes or scooters directly from the front desk, which is not only fantastic value but also super convenient for exploring Shenzhou Peninsula and Shimei Bay. I even accidentally lost the key to our rented scooter, but they handled the situation smoothly and professionally.
I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit. Highly recommended!

"The room was spacious, and the floor-to-ceiling windows were absolutely perfect, offering stunning ocean views right from the comfort of my seat. Just across the road from the complex, you'll find the beach. Unlike Sanya, this area is much quieter and less bustling; in the evenings, there were only a few scattered people strolling and collecting shells on the beach. There's a seafood noodle shop at Qingshuiwan Food Street that serves an incredible 'zaopo cu' (sour fermented grain vinegar) seafood noodle soup – it was even better than any I'd had in Sanya! The owner mentioned they make their own 'zaopo cu', so it's definitely a must-try if you have the time."

"I absolutely loved this hotel! The environment, facilities, and service were all fantastic. Staying at the hotel was never boring, especially for the kids. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to Fenjiezhou Island, which is perfect for a day trip. It's definitely worth staying at. The hotel even included a complimentary travel photography experience, with family outfits provided free of charge. We had a wonderful time here! The manager was very helpful and patient in assisting customers with any issues. It would have been ideal if the hotel had offered a ride-hailing service, as the hotel doesn't provide one."

"In part this hotel is great, but it has some serious downsides. The room is fine, clean and spacious (although the finishes are very cheap). The bed is very comfortable as well as the pillows. The view is absolutely stunning and enjoying this from the bathtub is lovely and relaxing. If there are no clouds, you can see the sunset. When you arrive you feel like you’ve come to a tranquil place, but sadly this stops at around 17:30. On the streets below are restaurants and karaoke and it is like they’re singing inside your room. The insulation is terrible, both inside and outside. Staff will make sure the music is turned off around 22:30, but you have to ask, every single night. Staff and service are excellent though, very helpful and friendly. I was very disappointed by the rooftop terrace. It’s advertised with water, and plenty of seating, very bright and looking like a great place to relax. It is not, at least not anymore. As you can see in the pictures there’s no water in the basin, there’s no maintenance and everything is looking sad and rundown. Next to the hotel is a little shop, which is nice. The beach is small, but great and the sea water is lovely."

"This is hands down my favorite hidden gem hotel in all of Hainan, no contest. Every time I visit, I'm reminded of how perfect it is for a getaway. There are no flashy activities, just a tranquil, private, and elegant atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and airy, with lush greenery providing cover both front and back. The gardens are breathtaking, and the beach is beautiful and clear. Most importantly, the hotel's management is exceptional. Every room has its own pool and hot tub, which are cleaned and refilled for each guest, ensuring impeccable hygiene. Their attention to detail in service truly permeates every aspect, from the front desk to housekeeping. Even late at night, if you need anything at all, they will immediately fulfill your request and bring it directly to your room. This level of service deeply impressed me and is unmatched by any other hotel. I can honestly say this is the best value-for-money hotel I've ever stayed at, and my favorite in the entire country. From the moment you enter the hotel area, you will feel that it is a relatively independent and private environment. The overall decoration is very stylish. I heard from the housekeeper that this is the owner's own house, so the decoration design and materials are very carefully selected. It is very different from other B&Bs that are rented out.
The housekeeper contacted us by phone shortly after we placed the order. We booked the cheapest price and upgraded it when we checked in. Any questions during the stay were responded to in a timely manner. The overall service experience was great~
Before coming here, I was worried about whether it would be inconvenient to eat, but when I arrived, I found that my worries were completely unnecessary. The hotel provided a Hainan-style rice noodle breakfast, which was simple but fully met the needs. There was also Hainan-style afternoon tea. If you want to dine in the hotel, you can also make a reservation in advance with the butler. In general, during the stay, you can fully meet various needs without leaving the hotel, and the experience is not inferior to that of a high-star hotel!
When I checked in, I saw models taking photos. The housekeeper told me that they also had some water sports experiences. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time this time, so I’ll just leave it for next time. I’ll definitely come again if I have the chance!

__WeChat236287****We came to the Raffles Hotel because of the movie ”Lost in the Stars.” First off, the airport transfer was with Alpha, which really set a high-end tone. Big shoutout to our butler! Our little one needed a nap, so the butler specifically arranged for a late check-out for us. Every corner of the hotel is picturesque, making it perfect for traveling with a small child. The overall decor has a Southeast Asian style. Breakfast was plentiful, and even though there were a lot of people dining during the New Year's Day holiday, the hotel's service was still top-notch. When my child fell in the breakfast area as we entered, the hotel manager even gave them a little monkey backpack 🎒. Overall, it was a great experience!

The facilities are not only complete and perfect but also rival the best in the industry. CCCRCHThe hotel is near the railway station and the beautiful river walk. No English but friendly understanding. Huge room new and neat. First day I got lost when a street vegetable man would drive me on his tuktuk so to call near the hotel From where I called and the hotel receptionist came to take me back to the hotel.
All for free The next day I took a long bus ride to the monkey beach and endless long beautiful beach in a special place on the sea. With fun Chinese met in the bus. Asking the bus driver if there would be a restaurant he offered me his company lunch parcels or a full healthy lunch. Free .
On the way back I found the hotel on my self and the friendly family was all smiling that I was back all alone and happy.
Next to the hotel I enjoyed the best fish soup ever. So I recommend this hotel in Lingshui. Which has a bridge built like a huge ship new and no motor just for pedestrians.

__CFT010000000543****The hotel's facilities are decent, but the outdoor water play area needs renovation. The kids' activities are abundant and offer a lot of choices. However, the kids' club was a huge disappointment. We didn't feel any warmth from the staff; instead, they seemed to dislike children. Which kid doesn't run around and make noise in a play area, I ask? When my daughter got scratched, they didn't offer immediate assistance, only asking if we needed a band-aid. After I took her back to the room and tended to her, I returned to the area to play claw machines to cheer her up, but not a single staff member asked about what happened. It was only three hours later that the duty manager called to inquire.
The hotel's dining is a real weak point. The breakfast buffet was tolerable, as most buffets are pretty similar, but the dinner buffet was truly underwhelming. Paying 300 per person for fried skewers and a mini hotpot made me laugh. Not to mention the hotpot ingredients were scarce. If you're like me, traveling with a child, who would dare leave a hotpot on the table to go get more food? Moreover, in the Chinese restaurant, we ordered king crab and coral trout, and a lot was left over. My child's favorite dish ended up being duck tongues… However, I must say the service in the Chinese restaurant was excellent, perhaps because we were in a private room. The waitress was incredibly kind and even helped braid my daughter's hair.
Overall, if you want to bring your kids to burn off some energy, you can try it, but don't set your expectations too high. Relying solely on a 'Bixin Rabbit' (a character or amenity) to sustain the hotel is simply too far-fetched.

The manager, Stanley, was very professional and ready to help when we needed it.
The sea view is the best I've had in Hainan. I came to this hotel again mainly for the view. You can even hear the waves from the room and see the stars at night.
Many people complain about the breakfast in the comment section, but it's not bad at all. There's different kinds of fruit, bread, coffee, eggs and write a few other dishes. It's definitely not five star, but my girlfriend and I (she's Chinese and I'm Canadian) enjoyed a long breakfast every morning.
There's barely ever anybody on the beach and it's okay to go for dip in the sea, but you're technically not supposed to swim in it.
There's a an area about 700 meters from the hotel where you can find different restaurants.
The pool is very nice but isn't heated.
You can easily get around just walking, renting the electric bikes and calling a taxi to get to some hiking spots. We didn't find it necessary to rent a car despite being remote.
The bad:
You are technically not supposed to swim in the sea.
The pool is too cold to comfortably swim in when the weather is not hot.
The cleaning service does just an okay job on cleaning the room.
There's no really good restaurants around that we could find. Although I find this to be a problem in most areas of Hainan. There is no real variation of food.
There's no breathing in the rooms.
Bring snacks because it's hard to find food in the afternoon unless you order from the town, but then you have to wait for it to arrive and the options are limited.
There is a gym but with limited equipment.

JJing wu xihow to say. . It's not bad. The lobby is magnificent, but the facilities inside are not very good. I live on the 6th floor, the top floor, and there is a huge cockroach in the corner of the balcony, haha. The swimming pool downstairs is quite big. On Saturdays, there is a bubble fight. The water on the beach downstairs is made of real glass, and there are warnings everywhere that it is strictly prohibited to go into the sea, but you can go into the sea. It's okay, and there is also a meal. A complimentary dinner is a bad review. The parent-child room must be for more than three people, and the staple food is not enough. The breakfast buffet is quite satisfactory. There is a small town one kilometer away from the hotel, which is quite convenient for eating.

There is a supermarket downstairs that is very convenient, and the dishes at the Wanghai Hotel next to it are not bad. It is about 3 kilometers away from Gangmenling Park. MM230741****This hotel is perfect for families like ours who enjoy relaxing and spending most of their time at the hotel. There's a reading area on the first floor, a kids' zone in the basement, and even dedicated staff to help children with crafts. A staff member stayed by my child's side the entire time they were doing archery, which was very responsible. The hotel's service is also quite good; they'll do their best to accommodate any request. A special shout-out to the young lady who provided professional service with a sweet, delightful smile. She made our trip even more pleasant 😁. Who says Lingshui isn't fun? I personally think it's better than Sanya, with more genuine hospitality. Thumbs up! 👍
