"The hotel is conveniently located in 68 Taiwan Town, less than 5 kilometers from the 68 Scenic Area. The room was very spacious with new facilities, and the bathroom was divided into three areas, which was very convenient. "The Pingtan Dongfushan Hotel boasts a prime location with numerous restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and its own parking lot is convenient for those driving. The bedding was clean and hygienic, and the rooms were well-equipped. The female staff at the front desk were warm, patient, and attentive. However, there were some drawbacks. The middle-aged woman in charge of catering at the breakfast restaurant seemed to have received no training in service etiquette or etiquette. She lacked respect and spoke rudely to the elderly customers in their sixties and seventies. While it's acceptable to limit each person to one egg and prohibit leftovers, it's unacceptable to treat these much older people like children. Furthermore, my spouse and I took two eggs, one of which had a sticky egg white and smelled of ammonia. My spouse asked the woman if she could replace it, but she firmly insisted that all the eggs were fresh and couldn't possibly be bad, refusing to give a replacement – she was incredibly stubborn! As out-of-towners, we don't want to argue or quarrel with you. So, taking this opportunity, I hope your hotel will strengthen its training for these outsourced staff, teaching them proper communication skills and service concepts. Otherwise, it will directly affect the hotel's image. I initially thought the hotel was quite good in all aspects, but this lack of professionalism among a few individuals has negatively impacted the hotel. I came to Pingtan once by myself and couldn’t get a taxi at all. There were all some black car drivers, and then two people would cost 50 yuan😭super expensive! The hotel is so considerate in this regard! The hotel also has electric cars for rent! So cheap!!!

I usually have trouble sleeping in hotels due to my neurasthenia, but the bedding here was superb, and the buckwheat pillow was very comfortable, so I slept really well. I even got to see the sunrise in the morning, right outside my door. After watching it, I had breakfast and went back to my room for another nap – it was so relaxing. "This time Pingtan's homestay is really a surprise! I originally booked it with the mentality of trying it out. After all, it is the cheapest in this piece. I feel quite bottomless. I am afraid that the conditions will be average if I spend less money.
As a result, I was completely relieved when I entered. This is definitely the latest and best one in the surrounding area. It just opened at the beginning of this year. The decoration is all new, clean and comfortable. Compared with the old houses that have lived for two or three years next to it, it is simply a victory.

"To be honest, I've always had some preconceived notions about homestays, but this one genuinely changed my mind. The overall environment is really good, and the service is absolutely fantastic. They lend out sand-digging tools, can tell you where to find 'blue tears' (bioluminescent plankton), and even notify you about daily tide times. The best part is, they offer a free photo shoot and give you three photos, and they're genuinely beautiful (much better than what you'd get from a random street photographer). There's also a pool, but it was too cold to go in that day. They have plenty of parent-child activities too; my child made fridge magnets and painted pictures to take home. It was a very enjoyable experience!"

DDaniel RodThe hotel is located fairly centrally in the island of Pingtan in a small village. Its exterior is nicely decorated with lights, and if you arrive late at night like we did, you’ll thank for that, as it shines like a beacon in a otherwise not very well lit street.
The service shone from the beginning. One of the staff was ready to help us with our luggage and show us in, and there was no delay with the registration of my passport (something that as any foreigner that has travelled in the Chinese Mainland will be able to tell, is not something to take for granted), and was immediately added to WeChat, where through the entire trip I was kept updated on everything relevant to us as guests, from the time breakfast was ready, to the fact that a guest with a dog was going to stay in a room next to ours (to which they offered to change if we needed in case any of us was scared or allergic to dogs). Breakfast was always kept warm for us, even when we were coming down late and were not expecting it to be there, and in general the staff’s attitude was always what you would expect in a bigger, more established (and more expensive) hotel, but with a home-stay twist.
The hotel is not very close to any scenic spot or touristic destination, but they offer a service of e-bike rental that we used through the trip, and that we’d recommend to anybody is staying here as it took transportation off the list of things we had to think about, and allowed us to fully take advantage of the central location of the inn. With 2 people per bike, going very far North, or South to the city (sometimes both in one trip), we never ran too close to empty our batteries.
The room was clean, big enough, and as we were staying on the last floor and our door opened to a patio, very well ventilated. The patio also proved to be a nice place to sit and chill or eat, and I was able to make work I had to finish feel less of a sore in the middle of my holidays. The only things I’d add or change to the room experience are a place to hang clothes (there wasn’t any closet or the sort), the toilet paper (they offered tissues but they don’t feel the same when you want to, you know, keep your hands clean), and real towels (they offer disposable towels, but they’re just not the same).
In conclusion, not only I would come back but I most certainly will, as I had an amazing trip and this inn played no small part in it. Would 100% recommend if you like less noisy, more home stay-ey atmosphere, and don’t mind to be a few minutes drive from the city.

The room is clean and spacious, much larger than ordinary hotels, with large windows and good light, very comfortable.

IIJK mumI booked 2 rooms, of which the parent-child suite was very good, the giant living room was large and had 2 toilets. The room was clean and cleaned well. The bathroom was a bit strange in design and there was no place to change clothes. So when I showered, I had to close the room and others were in the living room. The only deduction is the breakfast buffet, milk and soy milk add a lot of water, and there are fewer food choices. On the last day, I decided to go out for breakfast.

GGuest UserThe staff were extremely friendly and attentive, even before my arrival. They tried to contact me in advance, but as a foreign guest, I do not have a Chinese phone number. It would be more convenient if the hotel could ask for guests’ WeChat IDs through the Trip.com messenger instead. Upon arrival, the staff created a WeChat group and added me in, which turned out to be very helpful. Through the group, they assisted with all kinds of questions, such as recommended places to visit, how to rent an e-bike, and where to eat nearby. The responsiveness and service were excellent.
The room was awesome — very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable, and the view was fantastic. I also really loved the projector screen in the room, which allowed me to watch WeTV shows and other content. It made relaxing in the room even more enjoyable.
The hotel provides e-bike rentals, which is a great feature. However, I was personally under-geared for the weather. It rained the day before, and the entire day was cloudy with temperatures around 11°C. The sea breeze was very strong and cold, especially when riding the e-bike with the wind blowing directly at you. Proper winter gear is definitely needed in such conditions. If the hotel could provide glove and jacket rentals, that would be an amazing improvement.
In the evening, the staff even brought a small gift to the room. The gift was thoughtful and practical, and I really liked it — it was a warm and welcoming gesture that made the stay feel extra special.
Breakfast was okay. Guests are seated on Level 2, and the meal is served to the table. As I come from a place where some Chinese do not consume beef, it would be great if there were options such as chicken or beef. That said, the beef noodles were actually very good. The Western-style breakfast, however, was quite average.

The lovely lady at the front desk saw my parents and proactively upgraded our room. The room was clean, tidy, and had no strange odors, plus there were free snacks! The parking lot is on the ground level and has multiple charging stations, which was very convenient for charging our car. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit.

GGuest UserThe five-star rating is for the front desk staff. The hotel's location is excellent, and there's an airport shuttle bus right downstairs, which is super convenient. You don't even need a car to get around, everything is within walking distance. The service staff were also very thoughtful; when we ran out of bottled water in the room, we called for more and they delivered it promptly. We had a great experience and will recommend it to friends in the future.

SsjcqI originally wanted to book a seaside B&B, but saw this hotel had high ratings on Trip.com, so I decided to give it a try. The hotel offered great value for money and far exceeded my expectations. During the Chinese New Year holiday, it was less than 600. The room, bedding, and towels were all neat and clean, and the mattress was comfortable. The front desk and other staff were warm and attentive. Behind the hotel is a beach, with no outside tourists, making it quiet and comfortable. My favorite part was the laundry room; it saved me a lot of hassle and even had a dryer, which was a huge help.

GGuest UserIt was a very satisfying experience. Although there was nothing to do as a result of Typhoon Shantol, the only activity was to climb to the top of the mountain observation deck with my parents, but we were almost blown away by the typhoon. But the B&B is really impeccable, the food is delicious, the rooms are great, and the service is beyond praise. If I have the chance to come to Pingtan again, I will undoubtedly choose his place first.
