"We booked this last minute because we needed a hotel after an overnight flight to use before could check in to our actual hotel.
This place is near the OLD airport. They offer free transfers from and to the current airport. You need to contact them to agree timing. A taxi was 10 minutes.
The lobby looks shambolic and the poor reception was rushed off her feet. Guests constantly interrupted while she tried to check us in.
The room was completely unexpected !
Large clean double room, with the most comfortable bed ever. Well appointed bathroom. It was quiet and just what we needed to catch up on some sleep .

"Extremely satisfied with my stay! The location is excellent, conveniently connected to the terminal. The environment is beautiful, and the facilities are complete. The lobby is spacious and bright, and the room was clean and tidy. The front desk service was warm and thoughtful. Since we had a late flight, we asked the front desk if we could check out a bit later, and they kindly agreed, which we greatly appreciated."

"Almost every trip, I choose Atour, and this time I was with my family. The service was impeccable. The lady at the front desk had such a great attitude, she was super enthusiastic. We had a child with us and were worried they wouldn't be able to eat the food outside, so after talking to Chuyang, she helped us contact the restaurant. They made egg-fried rice for our child and even thoughtfully sent a yogurt, free of charge, directly to our room. It was truly a personal touch. The housekeeping staff also helped us install a bed rail, which we really appreciated. Staying at Atour truly feels just like home, it's so heartwarming. This newly opened Atour is very close to the airport. All the facilities in the room are perfect, and it's clean and tidy. It's also convenient for getting around. Thumbs up to the staff, five-star rating!!!"

"The room was a bit dirty with a lot of dust. The soundproofing was terrible; I could hear everything the people in the next room were saying, which made it impossible to sleep. The hotel occupies one floor within a larger building, and the elevator was really inconvenient. The entire hallway smelled strongly of smoke. I'm not sure how Trip.com (Ctrip) gives out its ratings."

"This stay experience far exceeded expectations, and must give a good review!
[Excellent location] The hotel is right next to Urumqi Station, which is simply too convenient for people who take the high-speed rail. Whether it is catching a car or resting after arrival, it saves a lot of twists and turns.
[Wide view] The window of the room is facing the open area, with excellent lighting and no sense of oppression. Standing in front of the window, the city skyline has a panoramic view. It is very pleasant to watch the traffic during the day and enjoy the night view at night.
[Warm service] From the front desk to the room service staff, the attitude is kind and courteous, and the response speed is very fast, making people feel at home.
The hardware facilities are also very new, the bath towels and bedding are clean and soft, in general, it is a very cost-effective choice near Urumqi Station, will come again next time!"

"My hotel stay experience was excellent! There's a convenience store downstairs, and they even have a robot delivery service. They offer complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off. Wanda Plaza is just 1.5 kilometers away, and it's super convenient to drive to the high-speed train station, which is only 2 kilometers away and takes about 10 minutes. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and provided attentive service. The breakfast was rich and delicious. The lobby is spacious, and the staff are very pleasant. I'm traveling for business again next week, and I'll definitely choose this hotel. This is my third time staying here, and I'll keep coming back."

GGuest UserI think it's fantastic! I arrived in early June, and the front desk upgraded me to a suite for free, which was a wonderful surprise! I thoroughly checked the bathroom, and it was very clean. Consumables in the room, including drinks and nut snacks, were replenished promptly. I'll definitely come back again and highly recommend staying here.

MMaidoumm^(oo)^Booked two rooms here. Originally, we planned to stay in Fuyun because we were going to Tianchi the next day. However, since we'd already made it all the way to Urumqi, we decided to stay for a night and explore. We booked this hotel last minute. It's very close to the Grand Bazaar, about an 8-10 minute walk, and the area around it is bustling with activity. Finding food is super convenient; there are restaurants and a small mall downstairs. The price was a bit on the higher side, but the great location makes up for it! It really depends on what you're looking for.

The room was clean, well-ventilated, and the bathroom facilities were very convenient, making it perfect for students and working professionals. The front desk staff were also incredibly friendly. There are plenty of food options nearby; I tried 'Cute Xinjiang' and the food was delicious with a unique ethnic atmosphere. I'm so happy I found such a clean, hygienic, and welcoming hostel. I'll definitely choose this place again when I come back to Urumqi. I hope Xiaobo (the hostel) continues to improve!

GGuest UserHostel is about 5 - 7 minutes away from the ”Sports Centre” metro station, which is about 25+ minutes from the airport.
The hostel entrance is next to the Tesla shop, and you have to press the buzzer, for the security guard to open the gate for you.
Then, after writing your name down in the guest-book, you go up to the 10th floor in the lift.

The staff speak little to no English, but they are very helpful.
They will try to solve your issues, as long as you patient with the translation software.
Also, it is difficult for staff to check you in, if you do not have a contact number or Alipay/Wechat contact.
(This is a CN Govt requirement)
The dorm rooms are basic and you may get the city views.
There are no privacy curtains and there was no air-con, in my one.
The hostel staff can provide fans, but we did not need any, as it was still cool at night.
The beds are OK.
There is a bathroom in the dorm room too, but there was almost no privacy for the bathroom, as there was a gap between the door for others to see and you can see through the frosted glass into the bathroom too!
The hostel is relatively clean, quiet and well-located,
except there may be other local guests, who are loud and smoke sometimes in the other rooms.
Next to the hostel is a nice up-market shopping centre and with really lots to eat, in the food-court on the 3rd floor.
