"Myrtle's retreat is spotless and the kitchen is very well stocked, but the smoking area is outside the rooms which often smell really badly of smoke. Also I've never slept on mattresses or pillows that hard, we all swopped beds every night but slept very badly. The staff is awesome, friendly and helpful."

"As this guest house has been recommended by some friends our expectations were quite high. Furthermore we had just spent some days in a great ostrich farm which did not have any ostriches any more but still very beautiful buildings. The bungalows in Skeiding are spacious but could do with some renovation.Still, they are okay. For dinner we got ostrich and steak, prepared on an indoor grill. That was fine. Se did not really get to meet the owners - the man just came to the dining room to open a bottle of champagne in the spectacular way with a sword for a friend, the wife was setting in front of the reception without saying a word. So, after all, nothing wrong with the stay, but we won't go there again."
