"The location is quite good, right outside the train station. The front desk staff spoke decent English. However, the room facilities were a bit lacking, and the room size was small. The lobby was fine though, with a communal lounge table, and the overall lobby environment was pretty good."

"Location: across the street, ~5 mins from the hbf. Reception: allowed early check in; they don’t always have someone at the counter so just give them a call and they will open the door for you (met some other guests, really nice people who helped me make the call!) Lift: old and small but it works! Room: double bed = 2 single bed merge together. had some flies initially because they left the window open to air it, service staff helped to get the flies out. Toilet: small but manageable if you are petite, may not be suitable for big size people as the bathing area is small. Transport: took RNV20 to and fro to the furnicular (which led to other tourist areas), super convenient!"

"The accommodation experience is average. The main reason is that the road at the entrance is under construction, and the road at the entrance is blocked. It is impossible to walk (in fact, this needs to be explained or refunded in advance). It takes 10-15 minutes to walk from the train station, and the road is not very convenient. Walk. The hotel is not a large hotel, it is small, the facilities are average, and it is clean."

"All in all, not a terrible stay. When we first got there to check in the front desk was closed even though it was 5pm and check in was until 10, and the automatic check in machine was broken with a note on it to pick up our room keys at the hotel across the street. We went there and they had no idea what we were talking about so we had to carry our luggage back across the street after contacting trip.com who replied IMMEDIATELY (thank you guys so much your customer service is incredible!) we got the number to call the hotel after hours and it turns out they forgot to leave our keys so they sent someone back over to let us into our room. We got into our room and it wasn’t the room we booked, it was a room in the attic that on one side I couldn’t even stand up without hitting my head (I’m 5”3) but it had AC and it was a place to rest our heads so it could wait until morning. The next day when we came down we mentioned the room error and the look the first guy gave me was full of contempt, so his customer service was awful. I know I don’t look like a conventional woman with my hair and tattoos and I understand different cultures can collide but that’s fine, though when the manager came to talk to my fiancé his attitude perked up a bit and he found a smile. They got us in the correct room and this room was a normal size but the ac unit for that room is a portable roll about one that the hose wasn’t sticking out the window with the netting correctly and they tried to come fix it (duct tape) but then the hose broke but my fiancé found a way to shove it out the window and it took awhile to get the room cooled down but then it was great. After that the rest of the trip went well, the woman with the copper/red hair was super nice and overall we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was a really good breakfast and the hotel is in a great location with secure parking. Check out Lino’s around the corner for fantastic drinks and the döner place downstairs is killer. It’s most important that most Germans don’t approve of AC so keep that in mind if that’s important to you that you double verify where you book. All the trouble aside we would definitely stay here again, just don’t count on the blow dryer in the room or the AC to work and room service may need to be requested multiple times."

"We stayed here for 3 nights and had a great experience overall. The hotel is very clean and feels almost brand new. We were booked into an apartment, which was excellently equipped with almost everything we needed, including a full kitchen setup with glasses, mugs, knives, dishes, and utensils. To our delight, the hotel surprised us with an upgrade to a full suite, which was a very pleasant gesture! The only downside to our stay was that the air conditioning was not functioning. This seems to be a general issue we have encountered with many hotels across different cities in Germany over the last 3 years. However, the management handled it professionally; they tried to compensate us for the inconvenience and proactively provided us with two stand fans to keep the room cool. Because of the excellent service, cleanliness, and great amenities, I am definitely looking forward to staying at this hotel again in the future if I pass through Heidelberg."

"The price of 160 euros (including breakfast 10 euros) per night is mainly given to these five invincible locations, by the Neka River, by the ancient bridge, the window can see the copper monkey. The traditional small single room is very suitable for one person to travel. Recommended breakfast is very rich."

"It was nicely located. Room was spacious then the picture. Bed was comfortable and water pressure in the shower was good. It had a walk in closet too."

"The room is quite unique, with inner and outer suites, both with 1.2-meter single beds, and the inner room has two single beds put together. This is the first time I have done a purely self-service check-in. A little noisy near the aisle. Luggage can be stored, but it's on the second floor of the elevator. It's the first time I saw an elevator door that needs to be opened manually, haha. A nice little hotel. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the city of Heidelberg. It's recommended to take an Uber for $6-7 to the castle."

"Right on the Neckar River, on the other side of the river is Heidelberg, a good location. The breakfast is good, there are free parking spaces on the street, and the hotel has paid parking spaces. Nice hotel."
