"This Japanese-style hot spring hotel is fully equipped and the lobby is quite luxuriously decorated. We arrived early and enjoyed free afternoon tea and foot soup first. At three o'clock, a waiter in a kimono guided us to the door of the room, which was very intimate. After the bath, we had dinner on the 2nd floor of the hotel at the time we had booked in advance. The dinner was a standard kaiseki dish and was very hearty. Each family had their own private dining space and was equipped with a dedicated full service. At 9 pm, the hotel arranged a local Taigu performance in Kaga for the guests, which was very special. The whole experience was very satisfying."

"The equipment of this room was very attractive as I saw it in the photos on Trip.com. I saw that some rooms had a thin hot spring basin, so I chose this room. I was so happy that I could soak in the hot spring in the room. How did I know that there was no such equipment when I arrived in the room? After I went to the front desk to find out the situation, after dealing with them for a while, they just said that the information on the Trip.com website was wrong. This was a photo of another room and had nothing to do with their hotel. .

"The hotel is located near a mountain hot spring. It's been renovated and everything is new and clean. The buffet breakfast and dinner offer a variety of Japanese dishes. There's a FamilyMart convenience store not far away. You can reach the Heshengu hiking trail behind the hotel by turning left or right. The game room has pool, billiards, table tennis, etc. In the afternoon, you can practically have the bathhouse to yourself. The hotel's free bicycles are convenient for riding around. The maple leaves here weren't red yet at the end of October; it would be even more beautiful if you came two weeks later."

"I booked four sets of rooms for one night. I didn’t expect the four sets of rooms that had been paid on the program. After arriving at the hotel, the hotel asked me to pay the full amount of the four suites, but the hotel waiter’s English level was very poor. I disturbed for an hour in speechlessness. Later, I learned that the payment on the program was originally a deposit. God! For such a simple matter, the hotel waiter clearly told me that the payment you paid on the program was all a deposit. Why do you say that we didn't pay? I was late to the hotel this day, so I was delayed for another hour, and we had no time to enjoy the hotel facilities. "It was my first time to experience a Japanese-style room. It was clean and tidy. The house was old but not old, which was great! The space was large and the bed was very comfortable. The accommodation, bath, and food were all above our expectations. My family and I have been talking about how we really want to come back.
However, when my children and I asked the staff where the vending machines were at night, they were cleaning up so it may have been difficult, but we were completely ignored right in front of us, which was a little sad.

NNuonuokafeiIn the 2025 cherry blossom season, the first five hotels in Kyoto, Japan and the Hokuriku region were all rated poorly, either dirty or noisy. Finally, there is a hotel with all 5-star reviews. You must make an appointment for the transportation from Kaga Onsen to the hotel at least one day in advance on your own official website or ask Ctrip. I made an appointment with Ctrip two days in advance. I like the customer service. Follow the instructions at the south gate of Kaga Onsen Station to see the hotel's car. The timetable is shown in the last photo. The driver is courteous and considerate. On the way, there will be a brief introduction to the Buddha statue, snow mountain, famous product Mantou Niangniang, etc. It takes 25 minutes to arrive at the hotel. It feels like home. The staff kneels down to serve. Now the process is done quickly. The corner Western-style room I booked is very good to live in. The sun is bright and the size is just right. The hotel is generous and the coffee and tea bar is available 24 hours a day. The quality is excellent. It is so thoughtful. You can choose a Kutani yaki tea cup. The latte is very delicious. The afternoon tea teppanyaki restaurant makes fresh pancakes. At 4 pm, five kinds of sweet cocktails are provided for happy hour. They are prepared by the staff and are delicious. Pudding is provided at 8 pm. There is a geisha performance at 8:45 Yamanaka Festival. A plate of snacks is also delicious in the morning. There is a row of sake for dinner. I didn’t pay attention to whether it is a self-service sake or free. I think this price and quality are above average. Breakfast is also full of sincerity and free sake is provided. EeasyyongOur stay in Morino Sumika was wonderful. This hotel is probably one the best Hotel (Ryokan) We’ve ever stayed in Japan. We are so impressed with their service. The staffs are polite and responsive even though language barrier. We stayed in a room with open air bath type with balcony looking at the slope garden and hotel itself. The architecture is stunningly beautiful. Room are spacious and bigger than we had expected. The room layout is great. We are so amazed with the hotel facility and everything in the hotel that we want to spend much more time at the hotel rather than going out.
The hotel is about 5 km away from Kagaonsen Station in the area called Yamashiro Onsen. They offer shuttle service which we contact them via email. Yamashiro Onsen is very nice and calm.
FYI… Kagaonsen Station is 20 minutes travel from Kanazawa by Hokuriku Shinkansen… very convenience..

Location: The only drawback of this hotel may be its location. Since this hotel is located halfway up the mountain, it can only be reached by car, shuttle bus or taxi. I took a taxi from Kaga Onsen Station. The journey took about 12 minutes and the fare was about 3,200 yen. I think the price is reasonable because the attitude of taxi drivers here is much better than in Hong Kong. If you don’t think it is expensive, you can give it a try. In addition, the hotel also has a shuttle bus that can be reserved. You can inform the hotel staff in advance.
Service: I like the attitude of the hotel waiters very much. Unfortunately, an earthquake occurred when I went there (an earthquake and tsunami occurred in Ishikawa Prefecture, Hokuriku on January 1, 2024😢). The service staff was warm and friendly and always helped, making me feel welcome. The hotel's restaurant has a rich breakfast selection and fresh and delicious food, adding a lot of vitality to the beginning of the day. The location is convenient and there are many attractions around to explore. Overall, this stay was very pleasant and will consider coming again in the future!

For Japanese standards the service was just ok. Much nicer greeting upon arrival. Was left to drag my suitcases out the door with a wonderful old lady trying to help me. Of course I could not allow her to lift the heavy bags. All the other people were not available to help or see me out. Extremely rude by Japanese standards. Coffee at breakfast I was told to get at the coffee machine. Substandard for the class of hotel.

The hot spring water is flowing and very clean. Soaking in the soup pond surrounded by immortality, below is the clear mountain spring flowing by, it is really enjoyable! Although the hotel breakfast is not luxurious, it is nutritious and delicious, and the dinner is also very good. It is a good place to relax and retreat.
