"The staff was very welcoming and spoke both Japanese and English.
You need to contact the hotel in advance for a pick-up from Kaga Station, but I hadn't received a confirmation from Ctrip when I left. So I called the hotel from the station and they arranged for a pick-up. It's a bit far, a 20-minute drive each way, but otherwise, everything was very satisfactory. The room was riverside, larger than your average Japanese hotel room, and had its own private bathroom. The onsen overlooked the mountains and forests, which was very comfortable! Dinner and breakfast were small but delicious, with the hand-painted menus, which were very elegant."

"The hotel has a nice view, you can call the hotel again when you arrive at the station and ask them to pick you up. This is an old-fashioned hotel with almost no foreigners. The waiters are old aunts and uncles, and they are very enthusiastic. But the last shuttle bus that will take you to the station is 10:10 in the morning. "Hygiene: The hotel room is very clean and well-equipped with air purifiers! But in fact, the environment near the hotel is very close to nature, and the air here is much fresher than in the city.
Location: The only drawback of this hotel may be its location. Since this hotel is located halfway up the mountain, it can only be reached by car, shuttle bus or taxi. I took a taxi from Kaga Onsen Station. The journey took about 12 minutes and the fare was about 3,200 yen. I think the price is reasonable because the attitude of taxi drivers here is much better than in Hong Kong. If you don’t think it is expensive, you can give it a try. In addition, the hotel also has a shuttle bus that can be reserved. You can inform the hotel staff in advance.
Service: I like the attitude of the hotel waiters very much. Unfortunately, an earthquake occurred when I went there (an earthquake and tsunami occurred in Ishikawa Prefecture, Hokuriku on January 1, 2024😢). The employees in the store were very patient and attentive in asking customers about their situation and taking care of them. safety. "(Transportation) There's a hotel shuttle bus from Kaga Onsen Station, which is quite convenient. It's located in the middle of the Tsurusenkei area, so if you arrive in the afternoon, you can walk the left side first and then the right side in the morning to avoid getting too tired.
(Facilities) The lobby is large and offers complimentary tea and drinks. There's also a free playground on the 6th floor with ping-pong tables, snooker, etc. The hot spring area on the 2nd floor also has free popsicles and very inexpensive washing machines.
(Food) Of all the hotels I've stayed at along the way, I found the breakfast to be the best value. I didn't eat dinner. I stayed at over a dozen hotels along the way, ranging from 3000 to 800 yen per night, and this was the only hotel with a buffet breakfast. There were three counters. There are freshly cooked items, such as Wo Sushi French toast and freshly squeezed juice.
(Room) The room is quite basic; you have to fold your own blankets. Unfortunately, the balcony is rather bare, so you can't enjoy the view.
(Service) Check-in and check-out are quite quick, and the staff are all smiles. I've included a picture of a sushi-making lady, but I've covered her face to protect her privacy, though her smile made my breakfast very enjoyable.
(Other) The yukatas (light cotton robes) here are quite nice. At least after staying here for ten days, I feel it's good value for money, so I'd definitely stay at this hotel again."

"This Japanese-style hot spring hotel is fully equipped and the lobby is quite luxuriously decorated. We arrived early and enjoyed free afternoon tea and foot soup first. At three o'clock, a waiter in a kimono guided us to the door of the room, which was very intimate. After the bath, we had dinner on the 2nd floor of the hotel at the time we had booked in advance. The dinner was a standard kaiseki dish and was very hearty. Each family had their own private dining space and was equipped with a dedicated full service. At 9 pm, the hotel arranged a local Taigu performance in Kaga for the guests, which was very special. The whole experience was very satisfying."

The staff are amazing, the rooms are spacious and well appointed, the property to include the hot springs baths is excellent - the food offerings for breakfast and dinner changes each day, the chef serving the freshest seafood, meats, vegetables. It’s a beautiful place that you’ll never want to leave and for sure come back to sooner than later.

NNuonuokafeiIn the 2025 cherry blossom season, the first five hotels in Kyoto, Japan and the Hokuriku region were all rated poorly, either dirty or noisy. Finally, there is a hotel with all 5-star reviews. You must make an appointment for the transportation from Kaga Onsen to the hotel at least one day in advance on your own official website or ask Ctrip. I made an appointment with Ctrip two days in advance. I like the customer service. Follow the instructions at the south gate of Kaga Onsen Station to see the hotel's car. The timetable is shown in the last photo. The driver is courteous and considerate. On the way, there will be a brief introduction to the Buddha statue, snow mountain, famous product Mantou Niangniang, etc. It takes 25 minutes to arrive at the hotel. It feels like home. The staff kneels down to serve. Now the process is done quickly. The corner Western-style room I booked is very good to live in. The sun is bright and the size is just right. The hotel is generous and the coffee and tea bar is available 24 hours a day. The quality is excellent. It is so thoughtful. You can choose a Kutani yaki tea cup. The latte is very delicious. The afternoon tea teppanyaki restaurant makes fresh pancakes. At 4 pm, five kinds of sweet cocktails are provided for happy hour. They are prepared by the staff and are delicious. Pudding is provided at 8 pm. There is a geisha performance at 8:45 Yamanaka Festival. A plate of snacks is also delicious in the morning. There is a row of sake for dinner. I didn’t pay attention to whether it is a self-service sake or free. I think this price and quality are above average. Breakfast is also full of sincerity and free sake is provided. The staff in the restaurant are very warm and thoughtful. My room does not have a private bath. When you check in, you will be asked to choose a private bath for 50 minutes. The large bath is also very good. You can also soak in the foot bath when you are free. I really can’t find any fault with this cost performance. I stayed in the expensive hotel next to it, Huazi, the next day. There was nothing except two bottles of water, a bag of coffee and a bag of stick tea. There was a welcome tea, but no other activities or food. Jixiangting is really serious about running a hotel. The only thing is that sometimes there is a faint smell of sewage in the hotel. AAngelKwanI am a self-driving tour (Jinyu Dongxunfang - London He Midway Hotel chooses parking) without thinking about transportation (the hotel has a special car to pick up and drop off from Kaga), the Wendian is very well maintained, it is a designated sightseeing hot spring franchise hotel in Japan, hot spring water is good, there is a public bath (is hot spring water), There are three private soups, which need to be paid at night (the appointment is free in the morning), I am very satisfied with the morning and evening, I have the largest room (there is a large hall), there is a reception welcome drink, there is any tea, there is a snow strip after bathing, there is a morning coffee, the focus is not expensive. For Japanese standards the service was just ok. Much nicer greeting upon arrival. Was left to drag my suitcases out the door with a wonderful old lady trying to help me. Of course I could not allow her to lift the heavy bags. All the other people were not available to help or see me out. Extremely rude by Japanese standards. Coffee at breakfast I was told to get at the coffee machine. Substandard for the class of hotel.

After arriving at the hotel, the hotel asked me to pay the full amount of the four suites, but the hotel waiter’s English level was very poor. I disturbed for an hour in speechlessness. Later, I learned that the payment on the program was originally a deposit. God! For such a simple matter, the hotel waiter clearly told me that the payment you paid on the program was all a deposit. Why do you say that we didn't pay? I was late to the hotel this day, so I was delayed for another hour, and we had no time to enjoy the hotel facilities. I hope that the platform and the hotel will communicate better in the future to avoid this situation. This time it really brought me inconvenience. Except for this hotel, the whole is very good.

Through the balcony, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountain village and listen to the sound of trickling streams. The outdoor hot spring has 5 mixed bathing pools and 2 for women. The hot spring water is flowing and very clean. Soaking in the soup pond surrounded by immortality, below is the clear mountain spring flowing by, it is really enjoyable! Although the hotel breakfast is not luxurious, it is nutritious and delicious, and the dinner is also very good. It is a good place to relax and retreat.
