"This hotel is absolutely fantastic! It's new, modern, and pays attention to every little detail. The room was wonderful, with incredibly comfortable futons and duvets. The onsen is marvelous, featuring an outdoor area, stones, wood, a sauna, a cold plunge bath, and all sorts of thoughtful touches – truly an unbeatable experience. Dinner and breakfast are served buffet-style with a wide variety of Japanese and Western food. There's also a game room, perfect for having some fun and laughs. It's a very peaceful and welcoming place. The only minor drawback was the bathroom in the room, which was quite dated and didn't match the rest of the hotel's modern feel. But honestly, that was a very small detail. I highly recommend it for a rejuvenating stay."

"The food and the open-air bath were good. The waitress who assisted us during meals was excellent. However, there were some shortcomings, such as the lack of facilities within the hotel (for example, a place to eat ramen) and the absence of a souvenir shop."

"Kishotei Inn is located in the Yamanaka Onsen Street. There is a hotel shuttle bus from the south exit parking lot of Kaga Onsen JR Station that can pick you up at scheduled times. You need to reserve a time in advance. Just use your email address. The pick-up and drop-off staff are very friendly and the hotel service is better. It is in place, and the period architecture adds to the Japanese style of the hot spring hotel. It has a clean and hygienic environment, rich breakfast and dinner, considerate hot tea and snacks in the lobby, and a beautiful open-air hot spring and scenery near the stream on the first floor. There is also a hotel next to the hotel. There are Hexianxi Trail and Hot Spring Street Town, both of which are refreshing and relaxing hot spring tours. It is highly recommended and I will definitely go there again if I have the opportunity."

"During our 2 night-stay, the breakfasts N dinners were awesome, mouth watering & flavorful! Best meals on our 12-day trip in Japan. The shuttle bus service was a great help. Every service personnel we interacted with during our stay were warm N hospitable! Their smiles and greetings made us felt welcome."

"This was a truly satisfying stay. Before checking in, I had visited Shirakawa-go and was a little disappointed not to see any snow. But then, on my first morning at the hotel, I pulled back the curtains to find it snowing heavily! It was absolutely amazing. I decided right then and there not to go anywhere and just enjoy the snow from the hotel. The hotel is a bit older, but the room was clean and tidy. I had upgraded my room, and it wasn't small at all. The area mentioned in the description probably just refers to the room itself, but the entryway was also very spacious, allowing me to easily open my large luggage. The indoor balcony in front was also quite large, perfect for a family to sit and enjoy the snow. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered direct mountain views, with the river flowing right below. The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the restaurant lobby were even more stunning – it was wonderful to enjoy the snow while dining. Even the outdoor onsen provided beautiful views of the snow and river while soaking. The best part was how few people there were; both times, it was just me and my daughter, so there was no need to book a private onsen. Behind the hotel, there's a walking trail. We explored it that day, and while the heavy snow made it a bit challenging to walk, it was incredibly beautiful and completely deserted. Every photo we took was a scenic masterpiece. Our shoes and socks got wet on the way back, but thankfully, we didn't feel cold. There are convenience stores and supermarkets nearby, making it very convenient to buy food and other necessities. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends. The staff were also very friendly. Although most of them didn't speak English, they used translation software, so communication was just a bit slow."

In addition to the Japanese set breakfast, there is also a Western buffet area, which is very flexible. The hot spring area is very large. "It is a little far from Yamashiro Onsen Kosoyu in about 7 minutes on foot, but there was no inconvenience because there were supermarkets and convenience stores on the side.
