Our quiet inn is hidden, secluded away in the woods. Begin your journey with us.

"Look no further, Mori no Sumika Resort and Spa is absolutely wonderful! The staff are amazing, the rooms are spacious and well appointed, the property to include the hot springs baths is excellent - the food offerings for breakfast and dinner changes each day, the chef serving the freshest seafood, meats, vegetables. It’s a beautiful place that you’ll never want to leave and for sure come back to sooner than later. Arigato gozaimasu"

The hotel is on true side of the Daishoji station.

"When I entered the lobby, I had a good aroma and I was able to heal the fatigue of the trip! I was surprised that the room was beautiful! And I was able to take a bath slowly in the large communal bath and heal the tiredness of the trip!"

"A traditional Japanese-style hotel, clean and tidy. The public bathroom is on the basement level, and there are self-service drinks. The breakfast and dinner buffets are quite plentiful. It's a 500-meter walk from Yamanakaza."

"It is a little far from Yamashiro Onsen Kosoyu in about 7 minutes on foot, but there was no inconvenience because there were supermarkets and convenience stores on the side. Amenities are all in the room, front desk and public bath. It's a hot spring inn, so I'm glad to have a yukata. ☺️ Wi-Fi in the building sometimes became slow, but it was available without problems. Breakfast was 2200 yen, but it is not a Viking, so it is a little unsatisfactory and expensive impression 🤔 I thought it would have been better to eat at a cafe in the neighborhood. The best thing this time was the public bath ♨️ 1 order の の soup, 2 order の white の soup があり time で men and women enter れ substitute えです. Especially when the outdoor hot water of the black hot water entered after the sunset, it was wonderful and wonderful 😆 Nowadays, there are few customers due to the rumor damage of the Noto earthquake, and it may not have been the same business as before, but I feel that it was a good stay because I was able to stay for about 11,000 yen including breakfast ✨"

Received 1st prize in Jalan Net's Kinki and Hokuriku area annual ranking for 6 yeas in a row!

"This is a century-old luxury hot spring hotel. The service was great and the rooms were beautiful. The meals are average, but it’s worth it to experience such a good hot spring hotel ~ It’s also very close to the attractions, and there is a shuttle bus to Kaga Onsen Station. It’s a perfect day."

Kaga Modern Onsen Ryokan, located along the Kakusenkei Gorge which is the most beautiful valley in the Hokuriku region. Scenic mountain streams can be seen from the guest rooms, lobby lounge, restaurants and outdoor hot spring baths. Rich nature of four seasons such as cherry blossoms, fresh green, firefly watching, moon viewing, autumn leaves and snowy landscapes will soothe you. For dinner, enjoy traditional Kaga cuisine using seasonal ingredients such as fresh seafood from the Sea of Japan, including snow crab, sweet shrimp, rosy sea bass, and Kaga vegetables, as well as freshly fried tempura in kaiseki cuisine with a complimentary beverage bar. Kagari Kissho-tei, where you can enjoy food, hot springs, history, and traditional culture, also offers special services for guests staying consecutive nights as well as for guests celebrating anniversaries such as birthdays and wedding anniversaries. The Korogibashi Bridge, a symbol of Yamanaka Onsen, is just to the left of our ryokan, and the building also faces Yuge Kaido, the main street lined with Yamanaka lacquerware and Kutani pottery galleries, where you can stroll while wearing a yukata. We offer a free shuttle service with 11 daily departures, which takes about 20 minutes from Kaga Onsen Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen Line and 30 minutes from Komatsu Airport.

"The food is very good. You can choose different meals. I didn't get tired of it after two days. When I checked in, I was given a lot of coupons for the hot spring street, where I could get various ice creams and snacks. The hotel's public bath also has a Noten-buri bath. The private bath needs to be booked in advance and can be used for 1 hour. The Japanese-style room will help us lay out the tatami every day during dinner and restore it in the morning. It is next to the Tsurusen River, and you can make an appointment to pick up the airport in advance."

Yamanaka Onsen, a place surrounded by rich nature Enjoy the baths that moisturize your body and soul, which was praised by Matsuo Basho, and the view that changes depending on the season.

"I booked four sets of rooms for one night. I didn’t expect the four sets of rooms that had been paid on the program. After arriving at the hotel, the hotel asked me to pay the full amount of the four suites, but the hotel waiter’s English level was very poor. I disturbed for an hour in speechlessness. Later, I learned that the payment on the program was originally a deposit. God! For such a simple matter, the hotel waiter clearly told me that the payment you paid on the program was all a deposit. Why do you say that we didn't pay? I was late to the hotel this day, so I was delayed for another hour, and we had no time to enjoy the hotel facilities. I hope that the platform and the hotel will communicate better in the future to avoid this situation. This time it really brought me inconvenience. Except for this hotel, the whole is very good."

Beautiful hotel on a beautiful river. Large georgeous room. For Japanese standards the service was just ok. Much nicer greeting upon arrival. Was left to drag my suitcases out the door with a wonderful old lady trying to help me. Of course I could not allow her to lift the heavy bags. All the other people were not available to help or see me out. Extremely rude by Japanese standards. Coffee at breakfast I was told to get at the coffee machine. Substandard for the class of hotel.

Stay in the 105 pine green of the pine wind, and there is a small open-air hot spring bath in the room. You can choose two bathrobes to wear in the store, and the bathrobe colors are very good. The dinner was very rich, but the cold dishes were a bit too much, which was a bit difficult for the Chinese to adapt. There are two public hot spring baths, men and women will exchange in the morning and evening, and the open-air hot springs on the first floor are particularly cool at night.

The location of the hotel is very central, and it belongs to the first-line lake view location. The hotel’s male bath is good, and the room area is super large, at least 40 square meters or more, so Ctrip's information is still not accurate enough. Then the lake view room is estimated to have a front lake view, and the ordinary Japanese-style room is also a side lake view. Because it is not a weekend, it is the lowest starting price, which is less than RMB 1,000, which is the starting price of 7,500 per night for two meals in the hotel. The meals are all buffet in the morning and evening. The varieties are indeed not high-end, and the prices are there, but there is a self-service sukiyaki pot for three months from December to February, and there is unlimited draft beer. This can be said to be fully worth the room rate. Next door Japan The uncle really drank eight glasses. There is a direct bus from Kanazawa, and a free shuttle bus from Kaga Onsen Station, but reservations are required. There is a direct bus to Komatsu Airport. See the picture for details.

The food and the open-air bath were good. The waitress who assisted us during meals was excellent. However, there were some shortcomings, such as the lack of facilities within the hotel (for example, a place to eat ramen) and the absence of a souvenir shop.

It was good because I was able to stay with two meals at an affordable price. It was good because the meal was a style to take what I liked, so I could adjust the amount of food I eat. I don't know much about the quality of the hot springs, but it was nice to have a wide 々 bathtub, and I could see the green outside and an open-air bath. There was also a sauna! There were a lot of manga in the manga corner 〜 I was a little worried about the smell of the wind coming out of the air conditioner, probably because the room I stayed in was a room that was not used for a certain period of time, there was a place where dust was slightly piled up.

The building gave the impression of being old. The breakfast and dinner buffets had a wide variety and were delicious. The rooms were spacious and clean, but there were some dirty spots and it felt old. In particular, there was hair in the bathtub in the attached bathroom, which was a bit disappointing. Other than that, there was a game center, karaoke, and table tennis, so we had a lot of fun.

It was my first time there. It was more than worth the price! The accommodation, bath, and food were all above our expectations. My family and I have been talking about how we really want to come back. However, when my children and I asked the staff where the vending machines were at night, they were cleaning up so it may have been difficult, but we were completely ignored right in front of us, which was a little sad. I would like to go back again if I listen carefully to the initial explanation. Other than that it was great.
