"Rooms (3/5): For a family of 3 the room was relatively spacious and had no trouble handling us and our luggage. There is a decent amount of wall plugs with 2 in the room and a third in the seating area. They also give an extension cable with 2 sockets and 2 usb ports. The toilet is spacious and the bath is decent in size. Overall atmosphere of the room was calm and relaxing. Service (4/5): Service was exceptional, the receptionist introduced the hotel to us well and they had several pamphlet guides from how to wear a yukata to how to behave in an onsen and several others which was nice to havw. When leaving the onsen by car, they also wave until you are out of sight which is a small cherry on the top. Facilities (4/5): They have 2 onsens, mens and ladies which alternate daily. I only had the joy of trying one of them which was lovely and had a small cold bath outside which is a plus in my book. In the mainlobby they also have free flow non alcoholic drinks through a dispenser, having hot drinks like tea and coffee and cold calpis, coke, sprite, orange juice and water. Had a nice time after the onsen grabbing something sweet and cold then sitting in the lounge to cool off. Food (3/5): The dinner was lovely. They served a variety of food with the steamed horse mackeral standing out (this is coming from a person who does not like fish that is cooked besides when its battered). The seaweed and miso based paste also went lovely with the rice. Breakfast was also decent but nothing outstanding besides the pudding at the end. Overall 3.5/5: If you want to be out of the hustle and bustle of the city and just really want to kick back and relax this is the place to be. For me, this Ryokan is worth visiting again if I ever pass by. Nothing extremely exceptional but overall enjoyable experience."

"It is one of the biggest ryokans we have visited with a lot of amenities. Guests are mostly Japanese..giving a family/retirement village vibes. Our room came with breakfast and dinner plan - food was delicious and very fresh! One thing to note when booking on Trip is that there are many room types available, but the pictures shown are not accurate!! When I booked my room, the pictures showed an in-room onsen tub-lookalike..and the room descriptions seem to support it too, along with the price. However, when I arrived, the room I was given was not like the pics at all..with no private tub/onsen in the room. We really wanted a private onsen to end our trip on a high, but we were left disappointed. Could not help but feel slightly cheated. We wanted to pay for an upgrade,to get one with in-room onsen but were told all were fully booked.:( so be careful when booking your desired room type."

"Super favorite hotel. Traditional Japanese-style room, spacious and bright, with thoughtful design. Through the balcony, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountain village and listen to the sound of trickling streams. The outdoor hot spring has 5 mixed bathing pools and 2 for women. The hot spring water is flowing and very clean. Soaking in the soup pond surrounded by immortality, below is the clear mountain spring flowing by, it is really enjoyable! Although the hotel breakfast is not luxurious, it is nutritious and delicious, and the dinner is also very good. It is a good place to relax and retreat."

"In the 2025 cherry blossom season, the first five hotels in Kyoto, Japan and the Hokuriku region were all rated poorly, either dirty or noisy. Finally, there is a hotel with all 5-star reviews. You must make an appointment for the transportation from Kaga Onsen to the hotel at least one day in advance on your own official website or ask Ctrip. I made an appointment with Ctrip two days in advance. I like the customer service. Follow the instructions at the south gate of Kaga Onsen Station to see the hotel's car. The timetable is shown in the last photo. The driver is courteous and considerate. On the way, there will be a brief introduction to the Buddha statue, snow mountain, famous product Mantou Niangniang, etc. It takes 25 minutes to arrive at the hotel. It feels like home. The staff kneels down to serve. Now the process is done quickly. The corner Western-style room I booked is very good to live in. The sun is bright and the size is just right. The hotel is generous and the coffee and tea bar is available 24 hours a day. The quality is excellent. It is so thoughtful. You can choose a Kutani yaki tea cup. The latte is very delicious. The afternoon tea teppanyaki restaurant makes fresh pancakes. At 4 pm, five kinds of sweet cocktails are provided for happy hour. They are prepared by the staff and are delicious. Pudding is provided at 8 pm. There is a geisha performance at 8:45 Yamanaka Festival. A plate of snacks is also delicious in the morning. There is a row of sake for dinner. I didn’t pay attention to whether it is a self-service sake or free. I think this price and quality are above average. Breakfast is also full of sincerity and free sake is provided. The staff in the restaurant are very warm and thoughtful. My room does not have a private bath. When you check in, you will be asked to choose a private bath for 50 minutes. The large bath is also very good. You can also soak in the foot bath when you are free. I really can’t find any fault with this cost performance. I stayed in the expensive hotel next to it, Huazi, the next day. There was nothing except two bottles of water, a bag of coffee and a bag of stick tea. There was a welcome tea, but no other activities or food. Jixiangting is really serious about running a hotel. The only thing is that sometimes there is a faint smell of sewage in the hotel. In addition, there are a lot of Hong Kong tour groups staying there, and they talk very loudly."

"The hotel has a nice view, you can call the hotel again when you arrive at the station and ask them to pick you up. This is an old-fashioned hotel with almost no foreigners. The waiters are old aunts and uncles, and they are very enthusiastic. But the last shuttle bus that will take you to the station is 10:10 in the morning. After that, you may need to take a bus trip by yourself. There is platform 26a nearby. We haven't taken a seat. It is estimated that we will have to wait a long time. We went for a walk. "素泊まりだったので食事を済ませてチェックインが20時過ぎになってしまいましたが、丁寧に対応して頂き　けました。 夜食にお蕎麦があると言うことを知らずに食事をして来たのでお腹いっぱいで食べられなくて残念でした。 玄関の上の部屋だったのか、道路側の部屋だったので早朝2時30分のチェックアウトの方の話し声とお見送りのホテルの方の声が会話の内容までわかる程、聞こえます。 起きてしまう程です。お風呂は、山代温泉街なのに効能が書いてないところを見ると温泉♨️ではないのか⁉️と、思う感じでした。 朝にコーヒーがサービスして頂けるのは嬉しいですが、部屋に置いて頂けると下のラウンジまで行かなくて良いのにと思いました。 部屋は小さな子がいないのに、熊のぬいぐるみのある部屋で可愛かったです笑😆"

Location: The only drawback of this hotel may be its location. Since this hotel is located halfway up the mountain, it can only be reached by car, shuttle bus or taxi. I took a taxi from Kaga Onsen Station. The journey took about 12 minutes and the fare was about 3,200 yen. I think the price is reasonable because the attitude of taxi drivers here is much better than in Hong Kong. If you don’t think it is expensive, you can give it a try. In addition, the hotel also has a shuttle bus that can be reserved. You can inform the hotel staff in advance. Service: I like the attitude of the hotel waiters very much. Unfortunately, an earthquake occurred when I went there (an earthquake and tsunami occurred in Ishikawa Prefecture, Hokuriku on January 1, 2024😢). The employees in the store were very patient and attentive in asking customers about their situation and taking care of them. safety.
