"I stayed for one nights. The front desk staff and the restaurant staff were all very friendly and made for a very comfortable stay. They also gave me detailed information about recommended restaurants in the area. The large public bath was also very spacious, and from the open-air bath I could see the mountain stream through the trees. The sound of the water and the clear air were truly soothing. I expect the cold weather will continue in Yamanaka Onsen for the foreseeable future, so please take care of yourselves, and I hope all the staff members take good care of themselves."

"A perfect stay experience can make you happy for a long time. There is no flaw and it must be full of 5 stars, especially the quality of the service staff and the meticulous ordering of dishes. The hot spring here is also very large, and the sister hotel ”Yadoli” can also be used for free. The hotel's shuttle bus runs at 15:30 at Kaga Onsen Station. The hot spring street is very beautiful at night, but not too prosperous, but the facilities are complete and quiet. That's awesome x3. Frankly speaking, I like this place, and I like the three-legged crow doll that takes a hot spring bath. I will bring my friends here again. Thank you."

A hot spring ryokan with the atmosphere of the Kaga area, overlooking the Kakusenkei Gorge, the most beautiful valley in the Hokuriku region. Featured in the Michelin Guide, our ryokan offers a taste of the culture and history of Kaga, an old castle town that produced one million koku of rice, with nightly performances of traditional Yamanaka-bushi songs and dances and an interior that incorporates traditional crafts such as Kaga Yuzen dyeing, Yamanaka lacquerware, Kutani pottery, and Kaga mizuhiki decoration. Complimentary services such as homemade pancakes, Kaga pudding, coffee, Kaga stem tea, beer after bathing, carefully selected colorful yukata, and a private bath will add color to your stay. At Kissho Spa, one of the largest spas in the Hokuriku region, you can enjoy an elegant moment with treatments using local ingredients such as gold and silver leaf. For dinner, enjoy a kaiseki cuisine or teppanyaki course with seasonal ingredients served in Kutani ware or Yamanaka lacquerware dishes. You will be satisfied with freshly fried tempura and traditional Kaga cuisine with fresh seafood from the Sea of Japan such as snow crab, sweet shrimp, rosy sea bass, and Kaga vegetables, along with carefully selected local sake. Our shop offers a wide range of popular souvenirs. Kissho Yamanaka also offers special services for guests staying consecutive nights as well as for guests celebrating anniversaries such as birthdays and wedding anniversaries. We promise you a stay immersed in hot spring and Japanese style, with beautiful mountain stream views from the guest rooms, lobby lounge, and outdoor baths, and a rich natural environment that changes with the seasons, such as cherry blossoms, fresh green, moon viewing, autumn leaves, and snow-covered winter scenery. We offer a free shuttle service with 11 daily departures, which takes about 20 minutes from Kaga Onsen Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen Line and 30 minutes from Komatsu Airport. You can also take a local bus from the nearby bus terminal to Eiheiji Temple, the famous main temple of the Zen sect (about 50 minutes).

"Overall, my stay at the hotel was very comfortable and relaxing. It was a pleasant experience. Transportation: I took the train from Komatsu Station to Kaga Onsen Station. I had arranged a shuttle service with the hotel via email in advance. You just need to wait at the shuttle bus stop. There are many different shuttle buses for various onsen hotels. The ride to the hotel takes about 20 minutes. Hotel Environment and Room: The hotel's decor feels very nice, full of Japanese style. There's a foot bath in the lobby on the first floor that you can enjoy anytime. Also, the lobby offers free coffee, tea, and snacks (pudding in the evening) at different times. Before having coffee, you can choose a coffee cup you like. The room had a tatami mat and offered views of the clear mountain stream nearby. The weather wasn't good during my stay, so I just stayed in the room and didn't explore the surroundings. Food: Dinner was very abundant and filling, with very fresh seafood. Breakfast mainly consisted of porridge or rice with some small side dishes. Onsen: The baths switch genders in the early morning. One side has an indoor + outdoor bath, and the other has an indoor + semi-outdoor bath. Both are worth experiencing and are very therapeutic! Afterward, there are free small ice pops in four flavors. Additionally, hotel guests can book a private bath once for free, with three options, but they are a bit small. Oh, and the hotel offers so many yukata choices! It's fantastic, wearing them for photos was incredibly satisfying!"

"I am a self-driving tour (Jinyu Dongxunfang - London He Midway Hotel chooses parking) without thinking about transportation (the hotel has a special car to pick up and drop off from Kaga), the Wendian is very well maintained, it is a designated sightseeing hot spring franchise hotel in Japan, hot spring water is good, there is a public bath (is hot spring water), There are three private soups, which need to be paid at night (the appointment is free in the morning), I am very satisfied with the morning and evening, I have the largest room (there is a large hall), there is a reception welcome drink, there is any tea, there is a snow strip after bathing, there is a morning coffee, the focus is not expensive. When leaving, the reception staff will bow and wave goodbye. It is a traditional Japanese hotel and is the choice of Japanese tourist resort hotels."

The hotel is very large, the room is very large, Japanese style, very good experience, the hot springs have open-air and indoor, the open-air hot springs are very good, completely bathed in the mountains and forests, a great experience!"

"The customer service was excellent. We didn’t expect to get a really big room and it comes with breakfast and dinner buffet which to be honest was some of the best I’ve had in Japan. I can’t wait to go back. Cleanliness could definitely be improved though but nothing too crazy to be turned off with."

Located in Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture, KAI Kaga is approximately a 1-minute walk from Yamashiro Onsen and a 10-minute drive from Yamanaka Onsen. It is ideally situated for sightseeing, with both Natadera Temple and Katayamazu Onsen just a 15-minute drive away. In addition to the hot spring baths, guests can relax with an onsite massage (surcharge). The ryokan also features complimentary Wi-Fi and a reception hall. Room service is available during designated hours. A breakfast featuring local ingredients is served daily. Free onsite parking is also available. Guest rooms are equipped with a refrigerator, flat-screen television, and complimentary Wi-Fi to ensure a comfortable stay. Private bathrooms include complimentary toiletries and bidets, while additional conveniences such as a phone, safe, and desk are also provided.

"KAI Kaga inherited hundreds of years of hot spring inns and used new modern models to attract tourists in the hope of driving crowds to the hot springs in nearby districts. However, it turns out that the surrounding area is very deserted. Except for KAI Kaga, which is fully booked on weekends, there are almost no crowds. The surrounding shops are either closed or on the way to closing, and the nearby shrines specially marked as tourist attractions are also deserted. The hotel itself, the rooms, the hot springs, the facilities and the food are all average, but it is really not worth the price (it may also be that there are more people on weekends and the price is higher). The high unit price will easily make people look at the small details through a magnifying glass, and they will find that many small areas need to be strengthened. Another drawback is that there is no shuttle service from the station to the hotel (other lower-priced hotels nearby offer that). If you don't happen to pass by and want to take a hot spring bath, it is not recommended to come here specifically. In the end, I didn't give a bad review because the service staff were relatively young and had a good attitude. Xingye has its own set of training for its employees."

"This is a traditional Japanese hotel with an excellent location and good service. The public bath is open 24 hours, and the rooms are large and comfortable, though the facilities are a bit dated. Overall, it offers great value for money. The WiFi doesn't reach all rooms, and there's no signal at all on the fourth floor, which needs improvement."
