"The hotel has a simple design, with each room facing the harbor. Two bottles of mineral water are provided daily, and the trash cans are large – great! There's a microwave and vending machine with ice on the third floor, and they also provide large paper cups for ice, which is wonderful. However, the refrigerator is tiny, only for refrigeration, not freezing. The lack of shelves in the shower is a bit inconvenient. Breakfast is very good, with all the food being healthy; my favorite was the island tofu hot soup. There are many restaurants around the hotel. 200 meters ahead is a takeaway charcoal grill skewers shop; a box of four skewers costs an average of 600 NTD and is delicious. 350 meters behind is the nearest FamilyMart to the beach area. It's only a 10-minute drive to Don Quijote or AEON. For breakfast, you can go to the nearby rest stop (3 minutes drive) for noodles or seafood, and you can also buy souvenirs, bento boxes, bread, etc. – excellent amenities."

As soon as we stepped into the hotel, we were greeted by a wonderful fragrance and a grand atmosphere; everything leading up to our room was refined.
The room had a fantastic location, a great layout, and a very comfortable flow of movement. I thought to myself, ”I'd love to live in a room like this in my retirement!” (lol) I also appreciated that the toilet was a little further away (^^) My 4-year-old son said, ”This is the best! I want to live here!”
There was also a steam iron, which I used on a dress that I was worried about wrinkles in, and I was able to wear it comfortably.
The meals featured many Okinawan dishes, and everything was very high quality and delicious. I really liked the quality of the ingredients and the seasoning. Every seat in the restaurant was beautiful; it felt like being in an art museum.
There was also a laundry room, which was a great help as I could wash my pre-washed swimsuit. It's convenient because you don't need detergent, and it's also environmentally friendly.
I would definitely like to stay here again. Next time, I hope it's sunny so we can swim in the pool and use the bar.

"It was my first time staying in a container hotel, but it was comfortable and great. I appreciated getting various snacks with the vouchers provided. They also provided one bottle of water per day, which was helpful when making instant noodles or other drinks."

The surrounding natural environment is more primitive than Miyako Island! It is a hotel near the sea!
Self-driving passengers are very suitable, because the car can be parked directly at the door of their room, and there are fewer restaurants nearby that need to drive, but the blue turtle restaurant can be reached on foot.
There are many small secret places around you can walk directly to the beach, and there are also very special limestone terrain sea views!
Although there is a kitchen for simple cooking, supermarkets and convenience stores are far away, but it is really quiet and completely away from the hustle and bustle of the city!"

"Watermark was a perfect location for us on a couple’s getaway. Since we were flying into Shimojishima airport and rented a car, we found it to be a very convenient location—only a six minute drive away. Although we could see the runway in the distance, we hardly noticed the noise of air traffic. On top of that, we enjoyed that it was in a remote area and not in the middle of town (like Miyakojima) or in the midst of a major resort area (like Shigira). We didn’t mind exchanging more driving time for more serenity. I could go on about the location but if you are looking for a quiet place on the water, I highly recommend this hotel!
The staff were always polite, which is expected in Japan, but there was also a kind of relaxed warmth that I haven’t always felt from staff in other Japanese hotels.
The facilities also struck a perfect balance for us. Not garish, not too plain; just enough island flavor but not too much. I was refreshed every time I walked through the lobby. The breakfast buffet area was clean, fairly well organized and offered a great view of the ocean. We enjoyed our breakfast times daily. We used the laundry facilities and found the machines easy to use—glad to have had this option. We also enjoyed watching the sunset from both our room balcony and the rooftop pool.
We loved our room. It was simple but had everything we we wanted, including a balcony. If you’ve ever seen a modern Japanese one room apartment, it feels much the same, without the gas range. It was perfect for our stay."

"Spacious rooms and very clean. Basic design but good value for money. Location is out of town, you will need a car. But they have car rental on site.
Overall it’s great. Just watch out for car parking spaces. They have a secondary car park but it’s 800m from the hotel and you will need to get the hotel van. The road is unsafe to walk on at night as no lights."

Was out standing ! Also loved the hot bath. And location is very central you can walk to many places by foot . Although it will be helpful to get around if you have a car . They also have paid parking space. I would recommend this hotel for location ( city central in Miyako ) hot bath , and all the locally grown yummy food if you would love to try ☺️"

"Great experience in Miyakojima!
Location: The hotel is located in the center of the city, which is super convenient as a starting point to anywhere of the island: from here, the taxi to any direction is within 30 minutes at a cost of less than 3,000 yen. There is a FamilyMart across the road and you can get anything needed easily. And there are a lot of good dining places in the neighborhood. I made no reservation to any restaurant but just take a short walk randomly to the nearby restaurant every day and always find delicious food (there is one Japanese-style wagyu BBQ across the street which is super good!).
Room: The room is cozy and spacious. You won’t feel it too narrow to open your suitcase as hotels in Japan elsewhere. The bed is comfortable.
Facilities: There is a microwave in each floor, which is useful especially you need to leave early in the morning and have no time for breakfast. And there are also washing machines and dryers on the 1st floor, which is a must-have if you have activities in the sea.
If there is any improvement I must say, that is the light in the room is too dim and it is not easy to do makeups."

AAnonymous UserThe public areas are beautiful, and the rooms in the Coral Wing are spacious with modern bathroom facilities. I stayed for 3 nights, and even though it wasn't sunny every day, the ocean was still stunning. The hotel has several gift shops with a great selection, including Miyako Island's famous Yukishio (snow salt) biscuits, so you don't need to buy them elsewhere. The Shell restaurant offers great value for money, and the stars visible from the 9th-floor rooftop at night are absolutely breathtaking. The only downside is the breakfast, which was pretty much the same every day.

The room was spacious, so there was no problem finding a place to unfold my suitcase.
As a hotel where you can stay as if you were living there, there was a kitchen and dining table, so I was able to easily enjoy some sea grapes and instant Okinawa soba noodles I bought at the supermarket in my room.

It is next to a convenience store, Yoshinoya and McDonalds. The most important thing is that the local day trip will pick up guests directly at this hotel. Very convenient. You must take a taxi to travel in Miyako. It costs about 1,400 yen to take a taxi to Miyako Airport, which is about 4 kilometers.
The hotel breakfast is very good, rich and delicious, and you can eat a lot. Very good.

NNari.I recently stayed at Bibi Hotel Miyako Kukomae, and it turned out to be an excellent base for exploring Miyako Island. The hotel is modern, clean, and surprisingly spacious for the price. Check-in was fully digital, making arrival smooth and stress-free, especially after a long flight.
My room was bright and well-designed, with a comfortable bed, fast Wi-Fi, and all the essentials for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciated the washing machine and mini-kitchen, which made the trip more convenient. Everything felt new and well maintained.
The location is ideal—just a short drive from Miyako Airport and close to supermarkets and local eateries. It was easy to pick up food or hop in the car to the beaches. Sunayama Beach and Yonaha Maehama were both within quick reach. Despite the convenience, the neighborhood was quiet at night, allowing for a restful sleep.
Parking was simple and free, which is a huge plus on Miyako Island. The self-service system meant I could come and go at any time without worrying about reception hours.
Overall, Bibi Hotel Miyako Kukomae offers great value, comfort, and convenience. It’s perfect for travelers who want a clean, practical, and well-located base while discovering the beauty of Miyako Island.

HHello_tripOnly the best impressions from staying in a hostel. How to visit a Japanese house with good hosts. 💖 You need to follow the rules so that everyone is clean and comfortable: sort the garbage, do not enter the house in shoes, it's easy. In a separate fenced room there is air conditioning, a clothes hanger, a futon, a pillow and a light blanket, that's enough. There is a shared refrigerator, you can fry toast, shower and toilet separately for men and women. There is a good store next to the hostel, a place for snorkeling, you can buy coffee. From the airport you can get there by bus 7 or with a transfer first by bus 9, then bus 7. If I can, I will come again!❤️

GGuest UserPros: The swimming pool and small beach are convenient for playing in the water; parking is close and ample; the rooms are spacious and functional; the hotel is clean; the staff speak Chinese; the housekeeping staff are very polite and smiling; the hotel shop has a wide selection of common souvenirs and local specialties.
Cons: The surrounding dining options are not as numerous as in the city; latex pillows are not provided; and the breakfast options and variety are limited.

ZZhuziyoushijieThis is a hidden gem of a hotel! There's a direct Line 9 bus from Shimojima Airport to the hotel right next door, just a short walk away. The hotel is very quiet and clean, and the pork cutlet and fried chicken rice at the restaurant for dinner was delicious. There's a path behind the hotel that leads directly to the beach; the sunset there is absolutely stunning! Highly recommended!

KKangziIt was very good to have a washing machine and bathroom dryer. The location was good in front of the beach and in front of the bus stop. The shampoo conditioner was also good with PORA. It would have been better if there was tea pack tea coffee for drinks.
