"The public areas are beautiful, and the rooms in the Coral Wing are spacious with modern bathroom facilities. I stayed for 3 nights, and even though it wasn't sunny every day, the ocean was still stunning. The hotel has several gift shops with a great selection, including Miyako Island's famous Yukishio (snow salt) biscuits, so you don't need to buy them elsewhere. The Shell restaurant offers great value for money, and the stars visible from the 9th-floor rooftop at night are absolutely breathtaking. The only downside is the breakfast, which was pretty much the same every day."

"My 3-night, 4-day stay in Miyakojima felt like breathing with the sea. As soon as I opened the door to my ocean view room, the cobalt blue ocean stretching out before me heralded the start of my trip. Each morning, the gentle lapping of the waves, along with the sunlight streaming through the curtains, woke me up. Sinking into the plush bed, the fatigue from my long journey instantly melted away. The meticulously clean space felt as comfortable as home, yet still offered that sophisticated hotel ambiance. The breakfast, brimming with fresh fruits and Okinawan dishes, was a fantastic way to energize for the day, and enjoying a cocktail at the restaurant in the evening while watching the sea turn crimson felt straight out of a movie scene. The rooftop bar and infinity pool were definitely the highlights of this trip; watching the sun set over the horizon from the water was an indescribably enchanting experience. Thanks to the warm smiles and thoughtful consideration of the staff, I didn't experience any inconvenience during my stay. Renting a bike and cycling along the coastal road, feeling the wind and the sound of the waves up close, also became an unforgettable memory. After exploring the island all day, sitting by the window in my room, gazing at the sea, all the fatigue of the journey vanished, leaving only pure tranquility. Looking back, it was a special retreat spent with the ocean. If I ever visit Miyakojima again, I wouldn't hesitate to choose this place."

"The location is fantastic, very close to the airport, supermarket, and restaurants. You can easily get around by taxi or even walk. The room itself is huge, with four king-sized beds – I reckon it could comfortably sleep eight people! The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, so you can just pop over to the nearby Aeon for groceries and cook your own meals. There's also a really nice communal hot spring bath downstairs, which was a pleasant bonus."

"The hotel as a whole is OK, the staff can speak Japanese and English, communication is a bit hard, but their service attitude is very good. Hotel breakfast is different every day. If you need to send it to the room to make an appointment in advance, the hotel should not provide lunch, but there is a cafe to drink afternoon tea, breakfast and dinner, you need to make an appointment in advance for dinner, the price will be more expensive than outside. There are also free activities in the evening that you can visit if you are interested. The unique long beach is also good, that is, there are a lot of plastic garbage on the beach. I checked the location and the location of the southwest coast of Miyako Island. It is affected by the black tide tributaries and monsoons. From winter to spring, it is easy to wash overseas floating garbage to the shore. "Located on Iliangbu Island near the ferry port! Also very close to the airport, a good choice when catching a plane! The surrounding natural environment is more primitive than Miyako Island! It is a hotel near the sea! Self-driving passengers are very suitable, because the car can be parked directly at the door of their room, and there are fewer restaurants nearby that need to drive, but the blue turtle restaurant can be reached on foot. There are many small secret places around you can walk directly to the beach, and there are also very special limestone terrain sea views! Although there is a kitchen for simple cooking, supermarkets and convenience stores are far away, but it is really quiet and completely away from the hustle and bustle of the city!"

"Watermark was a perfect location for us on a couple’s getaway. Since we were flying into Shimojishima airport and rented a car, we found it to be a very convenient location—only a six minute drive away. Although we could see the runway in the distance, we hardly noticed the noise of air traffic. On top of that, we enjoyed that it was in a remote area and not in the middle of town (like Miyakojima) or in the midst of a major resort area (like Shigira). We didn’t mind exchanging more driving time for more serenity. I could go on about the location but if you are looking for a quiet place on the water, I highly recommend this hotel! The staff were always polite, which is expected in Japan, but there was also a kind of relaxed warmth that I haven’t always felt from staff in other Japanese hotels. The facilities also struck a perfect balance for us. Not garish, not too plain; just enough island flavor but not too much. I was refreshed every time I walked through the lobby. The breakfast buffet area was clean, fairly well organized and offered a great view of the ocean. We enjoyed our breakfast times daily. We used the laundry facilities and found the machines easy to use—glad to have had this option. We also enjoyed watching the sunset from both our room balcony and the rooftop pool. We loved our room. It was simple but had everything we we wanted, including a balcony. If you’ve ever seen a modern Japanese one room apartment, it feels much the same, without the gas range. It was perfect for our stay."

"It was comfortable with a new functional room. It is about 20 minutes walk to Yonaha Maehama Beach. It's not far from the back road because there are few cars coming. It's realistic to change into a rush guard in your room and go to the beach. If you write the 6-digit room key number in your hand with a magic pen, you can swim on the beach empty-handed."
