"Overall Staying experience: 7/10 Location: 9/10 Arrival Experience: 8/10 Checkout Experience: 9/10 Bell /Valet Experience: 10/10 In room Amenties: 7/10 Bedroom Comfort: 6/10 Bathroom Experience: 7/10 WE booked 5D4N for our business trip. We arrived very early at the hotel but the arrival experience is superb. I was assigned to room 309 at level 3 in 20mins. The room is very decent size enough for 1 person. The bed is queen size bed, the blanket pillows and mattress decent clean bit not too comfortable for my preference. Bedroom Experience:6/10 The bathroom is very spacious for this room size with seperate bathtub and standing shower. Wash basin is decent size for 1 person. Toilet is automatic and is very comfortable. Enjoyed the hot tub daily after work. Bathroom Experience: 7/10 I was assigned an ocean sea view room. The train horn sound is very distrubing my sleep. If you are light sleeper, please take it serious consideration. I was awake by train horn every 6am in the morning."

"Amazing hostel in Colombo! The first thing I want to mention is the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. They are always ready to assist with anything you need, and the reception is open 24/7, which makes you feel safe and comfortable at any time. Another big highlight is the bistro located on the top floor. The place is beautiful, the atmosphere is great, and the food is genuinely delicious. Prices are very reasonable for the quality, and everything we tried was really tasty. The hostel itself looks stylish, clean, and well-maintained. The interior design is modern and cozy, and overall it feels more like a proper hotel than a typical hostel. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again!"

"I had a really great stay at Amari Colombo. The hotel was clean, modern and very comfortable throughout. The rooms were well maintained and everything felt fresh and tidy. The location is excellent — easy to get around the city and close to everything you’d need. One of the highlights was the rooftop, which has fantastic views over Colombo. It’s a great spot to unwind and take in the skyline. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and I’d happily return."

"I recently stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham Colombo, and overall it was a wonderful experience. The room was extremely spacious, honestly one of the largest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in within Colombo. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and the amenities were excellent. The room included everything you might need—tea and coffee facilities, toiletries, toothbrushes, and more. The bed was very large and comfortable, and the TV, office table was huge as well. All the facilities such as the lights, air conditioning, and fan worked perfectly, so we had no issues at all. Our room was on the 8th floor (top floor) and we had a nice view overlooking the Galle Face Hotel with a small view of the ocean. The location of the hotel is also excellent since it is very close to Galle Face Green and many other attractions in Colombo, which makes it very convenient for travelers. The check-in process was smooth, and they welcomed us with a refreshing welcome drink. One thing to note is that the security procedure is quite strict. When we had guests visiting our room briefly, they had to provide their IDs and go through a security check. It was the first time I experienced this in a hotel, but it is understandable since it helps maintain safety. Although we booked bed and breakfast, we later asked if we could add the dinner buffet, but unfortunately it was already full. However, something very kind happened later that night. My mother wanted chicken congee, so we asked the room service staff if it was available. Even though it was not on the menu at that moment, they were kind enough to prepare and send us a bowl of chicken congee. It was a very thoughtful gesture, and we truly appreciated their kindness. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a very wide variety of food, and everything we tried was delicious. My family has always liked the buffets at Ramada, and this time was no different. They also had live cooking stations, and the staff there were very friendly and welcoming. Overall, everything about the stay was great. The room, service, location, and food were all excellent. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel. It is absolutely worth the price and offers great value for money."

"Great location with amazing view. Where you can enjoy the beach view, the trains come and go while a handful of food places around the hotel. Can visit to Fort station and surrounding as well as Mount Lavinia area."

"A nice, luxurious end to my first time in Sri Lanka. Room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the Lotus Tower, and service is extremely attentive. Breakfast was extremely diverse, and a server was eager to make local Sri Lankan recommendations which I really appreciated. However, the layout of the place is a little difficult, so be prepared to use a few different elevators to get around"

"We recently stayed at Galle Face Hotel, Colombo with my family. Overall, the hotel experience was good, especially the location and service. However, the rooms feel overly traditional and colonial, which does not fully meet modern-day requirements. The heavy wooden furniture and old-fashioned, posh décor may appeal to older patrons who appreciate classic heritage styles, but it may not suit travelers looking for a more contemporary stay. The electrical points and facilities are also quite outdated and not convenient for today’s laptop- and gadget-dependent travelers. I would suggest that the hotel consider modernizing some rooms and amenities, while still preserving a few heritage-style rooms for guests who prefer the traditional experiences."

"The room was clean and offered a view of the Lotus Tower. There is also a restaurant on the rooftop. The front desk staff were polite, spoke good English, and recommended attractions within a 20-minute walk. They also gave us a refrigerator magnet as a gift. The hotel has security stationed in the lobby. However, the soundproofing in the room wasn't the best. We could hear people talking in the hallway, and in the morning, there was noise from cawing crows and broadcast announcements. Overall, it represents good value for the price."
