"Lovely old hotel within 20 mins walking distance from the old town, central market, bus station, and train station. This hotel is near a Lido restaurant that opens at 10am, the Red Line tram stations, bus stops, KGB museum. Art Nouveau district is nearer to here than old town . Loving the antique vibes. The room has creaky floor boards, but room is clean. Bathroom has basic toiletries and hair dryer. Bed mattress is firm. Bedsheets are very clean and towels are changed daily. Thanks to the friendly staff who are fast to respond. You can borrow a kettle from the reception if you need to boil hot water. Bar doesn’t open past 10pm, but you can have a drink there during the day. Restaurant was undergoing renovation when I was there. The building contains some rental apartments and companies, and you can hear sounds from the corridor (there are public WC along each corridor). This place is recommended for people who appreciate the old school vibes and don’t mind the noise of people walking past."

"We arrived early but couldn't check in yet. Luckily, the hotel offered a free luggage storage service, which was very helpful. The hotel environment is lovely, and there are many Instagram-worthy spots nearby. They also serve breakfast, though we didn't try it, so I can't comment on the taste. It's also conveniently located near a bus stop, which is great if you need to catch an early bus – just a 5-10 minute walk."

"This hotel was incredibly convenient, located just behind the Blackhead House in the Old Town, and very close to the airport bus stop. The room was clean, and all the front desk staff were so kind, making our stay very pleasant. I'd love to stay here again if I have the chance!"

"The hotel is a bit outdated but it has everything that’s needed for and it’s quite clean and spacious. The breakfast spread was quite ok. Not so far from the main bus station and quite a number of bus stops and tram stops. Walking distance from the old town."

"The receptionists were helpful, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was warm and clean. Breakfast was good. Public transportation is right outside the hotel, with excellent connections to the Old Town. Free parking is available. We'll definitely be back."

"I stayed in this hotel during 3 or 4 my visits to Riga. Everything is great and price is always very affordable. Good location, you are close to everything. Great gym I really have one issue - swimming pool and spa will be free only if you book superior room or higher level. It will be better to mention this before booking but not during checking the spa"

"I stayed at Wellton Riga Hotel & Spa for two nights. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. It is within walking distance of the Old Town, shopping areas, restaurants and cafés, and it is also very easy to reach from Riga Airport by bus. The room itself was generally clean, but the carpet had several strange stains, which gave a poor first impression. Before my arrival, I specifically requested a quiet room, but unfortunately this request was not taken into consideration at all. My room was located right next to the elevators, so I could hear guests coming and going throughout the day and evening. The room was also noisy because of traffic outside, and there is a backpackers' pub below the hotel where people were partying loudly late into the night. If you are a light sleeper, I would strongly recommend requesting a room away from the elevators and the street. The staff were polite enough, but I often felt they were rather dismissive and tended to argue instead of listening when concerns were raised. The customer service did not feel particularly welcoming. The breakfast offered a large selection, but most of it consisted of sweet pastries, cakes and sugary items. I was hoping for more fresh and healthy options. Although the variety looked impressive at first glance, I found the breakfast disappointing overall. In my opinion, the hotel does not quite meet the standard I would expect from a four-star hotel. The excellent location is definitely its strongest point, but the noise, breakfast and customer service made the overall experience less enjoyable."

"The hotel has a good location, and paid on-site parking is available. Breakfasts were delicious. HOWEVER, the rooms are quite dated. We found mold in the bathroom, which is a significant issue for allergy sufferers. If you have allergies, we definitely do not recommend staying here."
