Xining Hotels with Airport Shuttle

"Good hotel, very modern and clean. The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful. For the price it's great. However, we couldn't enjoy the breakfast much as it starts at 7:30, which is already fairly late for a hotel, and by 7:40 not even half of the breakfast was prepared and we had to leave, would have liked to try it especially considering it was included in the room and what we ate of it was fairly tasty. The curtain behind the bathtub doesnt sit in line with the wall so there is a bright light throughout the night from outside. The hotel was a bit difficult to find especially finding the Correct parking area for the building. The elevators are shared elevators and took over 10 minutes to go up to the 25th floor . And took 5 minutes of waiting to go down one floor to the reception, before we decided to take the stairs(which are very dirty) Apart from the above the hotel was very good and comfortable, clothes washing facilities were clean, coffee in the reception, and a cool fish tank along with very friendly helpful staff."

"The pictures aren't mine, but they're basically identical to my room. There's a gym and laundry room downstairs, though I didn't use them – I'm not a fan of shared facilities. When we booked, the family room was 600, and the king room was 500. The air conditioning in this hotel wasn't very effective, even when set to 25 degrees. On a side note, hotels with air conditioning are really expensive in Xining."

"The independent air conditioning, not central, was great. The inward-opening window with a screen was perfect for keeping out bugs. The automatic toilet didn't splash, which was also a plus. However, the duvet was way too thick! Considering it's summer, the duvet thickness should be adjusted for different seasons; a summer comforter would be much better. Otherwise, I literally woke up sweating in the middle of the night!"

"Quite a peculiar experience. On the first day, we were told there were gas repairs and hot water would only be available from 6 PM. However, by midnight, there was still no hot water. After a tiring day of travel, all we wanted was a hot shower, but it was impossible. To top it off, the pipe under the sink in our room was leaking. We had to switch rooms. We were too tired to bother moving again, so we just made do. Overall, it's pretty average, and the breakfast selection was a bit limited. I hope things improve in the future."

"Great location and very good service from front door and the cleaner Warmly asked us for anything we need and try to fulfill our requirement at their best We requested water for drinking and hanger to hang our clothes after washing and dry with dryer and the hotel management helped us with it. The room is big enough for 5 pax and clean Breakfast provided for every day too."

After we landed, one call and the driver arrived quickly, which was super convenient. For travelers with late flights or those catching an early flight the next day, this is absolutely the top choice. Room Facilities: The room was very new; you could tell it had been recently renovated, but there was no strange odor, which I really appreciated. The bedding was soft and clean, making for a very comfortable sleep. Although it's near the airport, the soundproofing was good, so it was quiet at night, and the kids slept soundly. Cleanliness: The entire hotel was exceptionally clean. From the lobby to the hallways and the room itself, everything was spotless, which made our stay very reassuring. Service Attitude: The front desk staff were warm and attentive. Check-in was quick, and they proactively informed us about breakfast and the shuttle service. They even gave us yogurt upon check-in, a thoughtful detail that was much appreciated. Overall Experience: This is a highly cost-effective airport hotel, suitable for family travel. "The stay experience far exceeded expectations. The hotel is strategically located, it is very convenient to go out for dinner and shopping. The rooms are cleaned meticulously without dead ends, the bathroom is clean and dry, the bed is soft and comfortable, the sound is good, and the night sleeps peacefully. The little brother at the front desk, the little sister, check-in and check-out are fast, Manager Zhang's service is also very intimate and welcoming, the room staff are also very polite and patient, the hot water is stable, and the toiletries are complete. "After comparing a few hotels, I still decided to go with Sofitel! And I'm so glad I did, it was a truly nice experience. Firstly, the hotel has a fantastic design; it doesn't feel old or dated at all, and the facilities are impeccably maintained, definitely five-star standard. Secondly, the billiard and ping-pong rooms are a real highlight! Thirdly, the service was incredibly thoughtful. Ultimately, I chose this genuine 5-diamond gem, which offers incredible value for money. It's only a 7-minute drive to the airport and provides a free shuttle service, which was a huge convenience. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive, including a gym and a self-service laundry room. This was particularly helpful for a long trip like the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop, allowing me to do laundry and work out. Plus, the surrounding waterscape environment is excellent. The service from all staff members was impressive. The front desk receptionists were gentle and patient, and check-in was very fast. Any requests for room service were promptly handled, making me feel comfortable and at ease throughout my stay. The à la carte restaurant on the second floor offers outstanding value; the dishes are reasonably priced and genuinely delicious. I could easily enjoy a full meal without leaving the hotel. The biggest surprise was the breakfast, which was definitely the closest to mainland Chinese tastes I encountered on the entire Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop, with a wide variety of options that were comforting and satisfying. Overall, this hotel completely outperforms the overpriced hotels near the airport. It's perfect whether you're looking for a layover spot or a business stay. Full five-star rating, I highly recommend choosing this hotel if you're in the area."
